The darkness lay within us all
waiting patiently to be released
to consume us whole

The Waiting......
the vast land wait till dawn; from the raising of the
sun, down until the grass call to fall asleep, as it
patiently waits the moment to come in the ground
it lay
wild the forest with chaotic lives and harvest the
bounty fruit of abundant spring of living; makes no
different of all existence of life, full of rendezvous
offer on days of happiness
satisfaction mirror the joy of nothing more than,
a day of waiting the sun to rise from the darkest
skies of the night, show of what is not been
waiting and light of what was been hoping in the
opulent of the great heart, rejoice i woke

Inner Light
My inner lights shines, but I go to the darkness.
Why must I always look at my weaknesses?
I know they are there, and on them, I obsess?
They try to consume me.
I believe the lies they tell me.
They are the true robbers of my joy.
They want the power of my light.
They crave to become greater than my strengths.
They will, if I let them.
Others remind me of them, like critics watching my story.
Maybe they should focus on their own.
Believe your own lies.
Give power to them.
Become your own critics.
Maybe their giants must be too big.
If they make mine bigger than theirs, they will feel better.
So I won't let them.
My light will shine so bright, it will cover the darkest areas of my being.
My strengths will slay my weaknesses.
The giant is afraid of the light.
It will run, it will cower,
Though, it won't give up without a fight.
Nor will I.
Deflect it lies, like arrows with my shield.
I will let my light consume it.
I will lock them up,
In the prison, they kept me in for so long.
