Nascarpus
On a snow settled battle scene,
Death is shaded by trees of evergreen,
Last gasp breath condenses in the air,
Life gradually trickles from fleshly tear,
Mind becomes dizzy and body does swoon,
Left with vacant eyes staring at the moon,
Conscious left swirling in spiralling sky,
The whole universe spinning in my eye,
Suddenly an argent spark, a selenic scion,
Sprouts a vixen riding a lunar lion,
She comes to seduce my soul to the stars,
To wash away all my earthly scars,
Coaxed into her black asterisked cloak,
Clutching cyan coloured mane we float,
Upwards into the cosmos on the winged lion,
Which glides to the constellation called Orion,
Here my spirit collides with corporeal bonds,
Yet every fear takes leave and absconds,
As I am given life again and reborn,
This time in salient and ambrosial form,
For my earthly conflicts have earned me,
A place to walk amongst the heavenly.

Dreamland Adventure
Everything is beautiful
There is no evil to be attached
the floors swirl inviting you in
the room flourished with colours
flowers flow from the earthly walls
giggling and laughing for you to walk further
at the the other end of the room a mirror takes form
the reflection reveals a face that hold no shadows
A smile that sparkles through the eyes
looking in the mirrow little faces look back
all smiling and singing a melody
convincing you that you're a fairy
a fairy princess that has invisible wings
fly, fly, believe it and you'll fly
happiness is all there is and to pretend is easy
slowly floating above the swirling floor
you soar past the walls
touch the ground thats white as snow
what you're standing on is a cloud
In the mystical world where you're closer to the moon
the glittering stars that shimmer down upon you
Laying down on the cloudland staring at the sky
the star dust trickles closer towards you
with a deep breath that warms your entire body
You know that everything is wonderful
Even though it wont last forever no fear tingles inside
It is enivitable to find sorrow again
but you can live in the magic only if the soul believes

Battle Scars
The lion's eyes looked dead ahead,
No smile or smirk in sight,
Just sending out a sense of dread
That others may take flight...
Why fight if you can run away?
Escape the pain and strife...
Born free to see another day,
Another day of life...
The lion's mouth concealed his teeth,
Small daggers every one,
So sharp they'd cause you instant grief
Before the battle's won...
And 'neath his dainty-looking paws,
So gentle, silky-soft,
He hid his vicious callous claws
In wait for those who scoffed...
It's true that he had battle scars,
Yet he had learnt his trade,
No longer thinking it a farce,
A game that lions played...
One lion wins, it can't be two...
One lion takes the prize!
That's why he'll do what he must do...
Look deep into his eyes....

Dead Lion
Lion died
And dead lion
Came to me crying
Dead lion wanted to know
so many thing about life.
I am not here
To told about
Lion's history
Or geography of the area
Where lion was.
Dead lion
I found within
My house my country
Lion was enchanted
on the scene here
Even after death
That much I knew.

Let Not
let not the tears in your eyes
be of my death my love ones
but of words left unsaid
stuff left undone
and love left unportraied
let not those simple i love you's
go to waste cause life is short
and allow not the brewing war
to put a damp on your smile
but may it spark a revolution
for a growing civilization
let not the scars on the body
be the wounds on your heart
for it what hurt the soul we should
worry about as the pysical wound
heal with time as the mental scars
last a life time

African Radiance
Behold the lion's golden mane,
His stature and his stance,
As if he stalks through golden grain,
A vision to entrance...
Such poise, such grace, such confidence,
Such priceless majesty,
Such wondrous, thunderous elegance,
Such precious sovereignty...
Behold the lion's state of mind,
Without one trace of love,
As if he'd left that far behind
When times were getting tough...
His mane was gold, his heart was black,
Just outer radiance...
The hunt was on, no turning back,
No change of sentiments...
Behold the lion's sombre stare,
Fixated on his prey...
As if no mercy left to spare,
Regardless night or day...
He looks determined, without doubt,
As if the end is nigh,
As if his prey had no way out,
No time to wonder why...

A City Once Spoken Of
Every day shines with the lights of heaven
Every question imagined - unanswered.
Shaded under the tree of life
No more bloody blades, no more war
No more strife
Our spirits glowing on the golden shores
Warming and melting the crystal snow
Joyous and free the city forever keeps
Nature natural with secrets of the deep
A musical melody heavenly notes float
To this shade tree, I pause to whisper
Of a city once spoken of, a righteous city
Full of grace, hope, peace and love.
People never will know twilight, sin, pain, death
Again. Thoughts comfort my mind with tender flight.
My body does cherish these Earthly times, but I
Must leave their rhymes behind, as the bird of my soul
Roams skyward.
Truly if you have heard a faint whisper from above,
Set your sights on that city, and fly like a dove.

The Frog and the Lion
A LITTLE FROG WENT OUT ONE DAY
TO HAVE A FROGGIE WALK,
HE SAW A LION ON HIS WAY
AND STOPPED TO HAVE A TALK.
AND THEN THE LION SAID TO HIM,
THERE’S FLIES UPON MY BACK,
AND I AM FEELING PRETTY GRIM
WHILE STANDING IN THIS TRACK.
SO IF YOU CLIMB ABOARD MY FRIEND,
YOU’LL HAVE A LOVELY FEED,
I’LL FLICK MY TAIL SO I CAN SEND
THE FLIES TO FILL YOUR NEED.
SO FROGGIE CLIMED ON LION’S BACK
AND ATE AND ATE AND ATE,
AND LION STOOD UPON THE TRACK
TO WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT.
ONE DAY LION LOOKED AT FROG
AND SAW HIS EYES WERE DIM,
THEN LET HIM DOWN INTO THE BOG
SO HE COULD HAVE A SWIM.
AND THEN THE FROG CAME BACK AGAIN
THE LION TO ATTEND.
HE CLIMBED BACK IN THE LIONS MANE,
THE LION WAS HIS FRIEND.
AS TIME WENT BY THE FROG GOT FAT.
AND LION WAITED ON.
THEN FROG WAS EATEN BY THAT CAT,
AND SO THE FROG WAS GONE.
THE FROGGIE IN THE LION,
JUST SCHRIVLED RIGHT AWAY.
THE FROG WAS FULL OF POISON.
THE LION DIED THAT DAY.
THE MORAL OF THIS STORY.
IS TWOFOLD, LISTEN ON.
JUST BE VERY CAREFULL,
BEFORE YOUR DAYS ARE GONE.
CHOOSE YOU VERY WISELY
THE FRIENDS WITH WHOM YOU GREET.
AND DON’T BE LIKE THE LION.
BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU EAT

Little Minnie
Air -- "In the Cottage by the Sea"
Come listen to a painful story
A mother is going to tell,
For her heart is over-flowing
For that one she loved so well.
It's of a little infant daughter,
Mild and lovely, bright and fair --
She has left this world forever,
Left this world of grief and care.
Chorus --
Alone, all alone
In the grave yard she is sleeping,
That little one we loved so well --
God her little soul is keeping,
For he doeth all things well.
Oh! how sadly we'll remember,
On a bright and pleasant day --
It was the very last of summer
That her spirit fled away;
Fled away from earth forever,
Gone to dwell with Him above,
Where little angels dwell together
In His everlasting love.
Oh! we miss our little Minnie,
With blue eyes and flaxen hair --
Oh, we loved our little Minnie,
And we miss her every where;
Yes, we miss her at the table
Every morning, noon and night,
While she sat with us together,
For she was our heart's delight.
On the twenty-fifth of August,
Eighteen hundred and seventy-three,
God he called her then to leave us,
And a parting had to be.
As the day it was declining,
The sun was down behind the trees,
Little Minnie she was dying,
Her little soul it had to leave.
Left this world of earthly trouble
And her friends that loved her dear,
Father, mother, sister, brother,
Her place with them is vacant here.
Her little soul is at rest forever
In our Father's heavenly home,
Her little form is sweetly sleeping
In the cold and silent tomb.
Oh! she was our eldest daughter,
She was handsome to behold --
Every one that knew her loved her,
And her age was four years old.
And we miss her merry laughter,
Through the house she used to roam --
That little one, we'll not forget her
In our dear and loving home.
Oh! how oft-times we have kissed her
And caressed her little form --
God of heaven knows we loved her
From the day that she was born.
On a day of independence,
Eighteen hundred and sixty-nine,
God he gave to us a present
Of that little girl so fine.

Heaven Is Awaiting
Yes, Heaven is awaiting me, where my Lord, I know I’ll see,
When I leave this earthly life, to be greeted by Jesus Christ.
Whether through a veil of death, when I take my last breath,
Or in the twinkling of an eye, when I am raptured to the sky.
For in Christ I know my friend, this life earthly is not my end.
For this is a temporal place, where we find the Lord’s Grace,
We’re given by God, eyes to see, after this life is an eternity,
Using then the Spirit’s lead, He helps us recognize our need.
With God’s Word of Revelation, He opens eyes to salvation,
And lead by The Holy Spirit, He opens all hearts who hear it.
When in God we put our trust, He makes room above for us,
As Christ has an eternal home, for all The Lord calls His own,
Prepared without human hands, well above the earthly lands.
Rooms that’ll eternally endure, built by the hands of our Lord,
Abodes built in Heaven above, prepared by our Savior’s love.
A home lacking nothing at all; gone is the curse from the fall,
Never again a troubled heart; once there we’ll never depart.
No more worries and/or fears, as Jesus wipes away all tears.
This earthly life will be no more, once in Glory with The Lord,
And as this world passes away, in Heaven we’ll forever stay.

Sonnet- Preserve Thy Soul, O Man
Protect 0 Man, thy soul from earthly stains;
God's breath of life is immortal in form;
Death takes it across supernatural lanes,
Untouched by the Satanic Tempter- Worm.
Preserve its divine nature without fail;
Released by Death, it should unite with God;
And live forever, Divine One to hail;
Alas, if sinful, goes to Hell by rod.
Let body' needs not tarnish soul's image;
Let sinful thoughts not weaken its nature;
Let it accrue grace, turning man to sage;
Let the ‘sheep’ graze then, the divine pasture.
Our soul is eternal, ethereal;
Our body, mind are just ephemeral.

The Clock of Life
You fought for my freedom.
I lived like a slave.
You gave your life for me.
So I could be saved.
From a life lived for myself.
More was never enough.
The things I thought made life easier.
But it just made life tough.
Keeping up with the Joneses.
Of my treasures I’d boast.
My material possessions.
Were the things I loved most.
Not the gifts that you lent me.
But the treasures I earned.
Now I see just how Satan.
Wants me to get burned.
Keep your eyes on the prizes.
Let your gifts pay the price.
For all your heart it goes into.
Holds you tight like a vice.
It will squeeze your life from you.
You’ll leave God behind.
You don’t realize that Satan.
Is robbing you blind.
Once he has taken it from you.
He will take your last breath.
And what once was a gift.
Has now become death.
He keeps you in your past.
Makes you think of tomorrow.
And this takes your today.
Time it cannot be borrowed.
For it’s all that you have.
And it is what he will take.
Til your heart is so broken.
That your spirit will break.
Life lived for your body.
Or lived for your mind.
The truths of the earth.
Keeps your spirit confined.
Your love is your time.
Your heart ticks like a clock.
And when it is over.
Your time it will stop.
When it is finished.
When you are gone.
Will your spirit die too.
Or will it live on?
Spend your time very wisely.
And in others invest.
This is what the Lord tells us.
And our Father knows best.
Live your life by your spirit.
Body and mind they will die.
One day they’ll be buried.
But your spirit will fly.

Why Death Comes?
There is a place after life;
There is a home after death;
There is a life after life on earth,
And that is the Abode of God
Called Heaven!
It’s a place of joy alone;
It’s a place devoid of sorrows;
It’s a place that’s free from pain and sin;
It’s a place that’s very pure;
It’s a place where sufferings are unknown;
It’s a place of everlasting joy;
It’s a place of commune with God-
Eternity is its name!
Death gives rest to souls that depart;
Death gives reprieve from earthly woes;
Death is the only way to God’s Abode;
Death heralds the resurrection of souls!
When death comes, why should we fear?
Death is the one way to Heaven;
But when it comes, our soul must be prepared,
And if that is done, why bother?
Miracles can be wrought by God;
Prayers can bring miracles through;
Yet, a sea of fervent appeals from souls,
May not keep back a single soul
For a time longer than
What God has pre-destined!
Because, God knows each heart;
God knows each soul;
God knows our sufferings,
And the ideal time to deliver
All.

White Lord
The pure white lion chose his spot,
Content that it would do
And there he didn't move a lot,
He just enjoyed the view.
To him, this was another day,
No worries on his mind
And so he let time pass away,
Slow breathing to unwind.
The years had taught him how to live
And if to walk or run
The time to take, the time to give,
The battles to be won.
Of course, by now, the heat was strong,
So why not have a rest?
No point in running all day long,
For who would be impressed?
The white lord in the sky above
Was just like him below,
When that old sun had shone enough,
It gave the moon a go.
Let lion cubs run left and right!
Let lion cubs climb trees!
For now, it was his prime delight
To nestle on his knees.

Space Travel Made Easy
Just think;
Space travel without a space suit or spacecraft!
Not possible?
Think again!
There is no need for physical form when spirit is set free
Spirit is pure consciousness that is impervious to hot or cold
Spirit has no need to breathe, eat or drink
Spirit can travel anywhere instantly
Want to know how the sun works?
You can go to the sun’s surface by sheer intention
Yes, anywhere is not only possible but practicable
So how do you separate spirit from your body?
Firstly your ego must be bound and gagged
Then meditate to still the doubting mind
In time you remember how to leave your body
Next you will yourself free of physical form
On Earth;
Release of form is the only freedom possible
Freedom is the launching pad for your spirit
An unencumbered spirit knows all there is to know,
And absolute freedom makes everything possible
Now there is only one question left to ask
What star in the Cosmos do I want to visit?

Precious In His Sight
Precious in the sight of God, are saints, who leave this earthly sod,
His children, who experienced death, as they receive eternal breath;
No longer left on the earth to roam, as they enter their eternal home,
Prepared for them by Jesus Christ, when they step into Eternal Life.
They’ll leave behind some family, still on that other side of Eternity,
Their loved ones indeed will grieve, but, we must know and believe,
That as they move from this earth, their life takes on Eternal Worth,
And they’re now, in a better place, provided by God’s loving Grace.
We may not understand God’s will, and probably won’t, that is until,
We step onto God’s Gilded Shore, to see His face and much more;
Dear friend, after all, we are His, and to enter into Eternity, is a Gift,
And its Full Measure, only starts, when from earth, the soul departs.
This departure, shall be for us too, as God’s Word is Sure and True,
Our departing from a world amiss, to God’s Heavenly, Eternal Bliss,
To be freed from all pain and strife, only when we enter Eternal Life,
This is the Hope, which has endured, to all, who belong to The Lord.
When one dies, although it’s sad, our heart for them should be glad,
We may have lost, one who died, but, now they’re at the Lord’s side,
Now precious in their Lord’s sight, being filled with Heavenly Delight,
And when we join them my friend, our time together will have no end.

Suddenly
Suddenly, I have eyes that now may see;
That which I never fathomed before, now may be;
Suddenly, I have ears that now may hear,
Which call me toward you, without any form of fear;
Suddenly, I have a heart, no longer coffered-
That longs for the love, you long ago offered.
Suddenly, I have a soul that needs for its mate,
Which embraces the exaltation she does create.
Suddenly, my mind is unafeared, and in accord;
Any further resisitance is something I cannot afford;
Suddenly, mere sight of your visage takes my breath away-
Thought of a life lived with your grace keeps death away!
Suddenly, I am a humble appreciant, and in awe
Of the love I feel in my heart, which has not, a flaw!

I Want To Come Home
I simply can't cope.
I've lost all hope.
Where did it go?
Through the rain and snow
I've walked head high,
And reached to the sky.
Nothing I've not tried,
‘Til the spirit died.
How can I go on?
The cloak to don
Of life and struggle,
And mess and muddle.
My mind is clear,
When Universe is near.
But this earthly tread
Has turned to dread,
Of each new day,
When my head I lay
On pillow at night,
With blinkered sight.
Not like my home
Where I can roam
The Universal Heaven,
Shed this load "unleaven",
And laugh and sing and dance,
Exploring every chance,
With bated breath, wide eyes
That scan, and uttered sighs
With anticipation for the next event,
Which will ever be sent,
Energy not of this world,
And language needing no spoken word.
Can I come home,
Forever to roam,
Those dimensions I know,
Unlike these seeds I sow,
On this earthly plain,
That bring nought but pain?
I need to fly free,
Unfettered to be.
Come and take me home.
I want to come home!

Don’t Weep For Me
Please don’t mourn as I depart, for that is when my life will start.
No longer will I be facing death, I’ll be breathing Heaven’s breath.
Please don’t weep, don’t weep for me, I’ll be at home in Eternity.
I had actually died in Christ, down on earth when I had my life.
Life on this earth began for me, a pilgrim’s journey into Eternity.
When on earth I am no more, I will be in Heaven forevermore.
Finally with my Savior who died, to live for eternity by His side.
This earthly life is temporal friend, with a beginning and an end.
However, my death is not my end, for that is when I shall ascend,
To a majestic place above the sky, to reign with my Lord on high.
Unlike this earthly life my friend, a life in Heaven will have no end.
It begins for me a whole new life, spent forever with Jesus Christ.
My mortal body racked with pain, becomes immortal so I can reign,
And reign forever by Christ’s side, in a new body that’ll be glorified.
Friend, in just a moment I will change, never again to be the same.
When I ascend through that sky, Christ will indeed wipe every eye.
Friend there is no need to fear, for Christ will indeed dry every tear.
Death for me is life you see, so please my friend, don’t weep for me.
So when I die don’t mourn for me, for I will begin my life in eternity.
Just be certain you know The Lord, and I will see you again for sure.
Hunting peace
The arrow of time slowly creeps
The archer of inferno with raised brows,
Awaits - the mortal legion, armed for a combat.
Stabbed incessantly I writhe, with open scars that bleed,
I shut my eyes to this world of deceit in reflex
But I can't escape the myth of reality.
God inflicts angst on me.
I cry. I mourn. I shiver. I wail.
I am lost, never to return.
It's a defeated Me.
A Me quite not Myself.
This I - a lone self.
I am Orion, waiting for my place amidst the constellation.
If I could die, in death I would,
Inscribe my inncocence and my endless pain.
My senses lost, my soul entrapped.
I am left cold and numb.
In search of - a warm hand to hold on...
Am ashamed and embarrased of my state,
Never thought it would be so,
The cosmic forces crush me with their might and force.
Life and death, wedded in my mind -
Am living in death,
Am dying to live.
There is a hunting in my head -
There is a hunting in my soul -
There is a hunting in my heart -
Am hunting peace,
Am hunting me,
Am hunting you to rescue me.

Let Death Come
We all must leave; we all must go;
Some day, some way and leave this shore;
The mighty and the weak must bow
To death that comes to every door!
Death won’t give time any to think
Or time to cleanse our earthly stink;
God-willing ones escape its brink,
Before it can forever link.
When death calls you by its cold voice,
How many can truly rejoice?
It takes you without any noise
And gives no one, the final choice.
Death lurks atop all earthly heads,
Whether new-born or old in beds;
And comes to plants and beasts’ bed-steads,
And spares no one across the meads.
All earthly things must die some day,
Ensouled man too- that’s what we say;
In any age, we all die, Aye!
On land, water or air, someway.
But we must be ready by then,
And lead lives better with our ken;
Yes, fill your souls with good deeds, men,
And reach your goal that is heaven.
All things of clay to clay must go,
When death will end our earthly show;
And that’s the way to God’s rainbow,
And when, that day comes, you ne’er know!
