Once I reached out and touched the moon,
My fingers encased it's soft silky glow,
As a babe I have gazed upon this alabaster orb,
Mesmerised by her timeless beauty,
Knowing now she shall hang there long after I am gone,
Her soft sheen fills my heart with hope,
From the beginning of time she has adorned the night sky,
Whispering echos from times long since passed,
The breath of history brushing my skin softly,
For her place in this beautiful existance,
Is to bring to life the shadows upon nights canvas,
So when the gloom of night embrases you,
Look up at the beauty of the moon and realise,
Her lustre can warm every corner of your heart,
She shall carry away all fears upon her drifting tide,
For we are all but a grain of sand upon the beach of existance...

Lifes Shattered Illusion
Love wanders through the tattered ruins of my heart,
Like a distant moment of a time long since passed,
Tis but a shadow of a thought in the gloom of night,
For the dream that I once held was ripped from me,

Night Secrets…
No more my aching heart
As you sleep silent in my breast
Awakening in the night
I await your sweet caress
My aching, barren arms in vain
So many times I've wept
At night upon my pillow
While in my bed I slept

The footprints in my heart
My heart looks like a beach
After a long summers day
Absolute chaos
A whole life of people
Or just a day of chaos
When my heart
was just like a beach
early morning
just as the sun came up
washed clean of all that came before
not a print
unblemished by peoples disregard
for it is clean of all chaos
then I let the first person in
who walked a long trail
lonely path cut into fresh sand
serenity has come beauty
the first footprint
interrupted by a calm wave
sweeping to interrupt the first sign
of someone walking on my heart
then as the time drags on the beauty changed
more people than just one
disrupting my clean beach
walking, jumping, lying on my beach
the beauty changed to chaos
but for one thing
the footprint of love
of care that the beauty should not be touched
then hurt of the careless one
leaving their dirt behind
muddy footprints of a careless child
a conceited adult
so during the erosion of my beach
day in day out
night for night
cleaning and sweeping
but for those
careless footprints
of the one who used the beach
with no care
for what damage they do
they destroyed
the beautiful beach
the beautiful heart
so the question is
will with time
this beach
heal and find its beauty again
will the footprints of the new day
come back and make
the heart forget
those days of chaos
I wait for the one person

Heavens Playground...
The night sky is sprinkled with the jewels of angels,
Magically they hang there for all eternity,
I gaze upon those bright beacons of shimmereing crystal,
I connect the dots across the fabric of space and time,
Through a silky black sequined sky to heavens playground,
A dream world where our souls can dance upon starlight,
In dreams we ride the celestial skies until the morning light,

Started As A Seed
My love for you started only as a seed when I first look upon your beauty.
Now my love has grown as strong and tall as a mighty redwood tree. I loose my breath each time I look upon your beauty, And how your beauty touches my heart and soul. Oh, how I love late summer eve
When rays of light rush pouring from the gore golden West
And the balmy night wind comes tranquil into rest
The silver cloud in the moon sheen has been long on its way to leave
All mal thoughts and fears take a sweet pause and calm retrieve
No more little gnawing cares, but find with easy quest
The night music, the fragrant bush, the silhouette of flowers with Nature's beauty dressed
And there comes delight my innocent craving a miracle soul to deceive

A walk along the beach...
The sight of sunlight glinting on the water dazzling,
The sound of waves advancing softly on the sand,
The feeling of the suns warming kiss on my skin,
The cool dampness of the sand between my toes,
The gentle breeze moving through my hair,
Slipping across the water a yacht gliding silently,
The breeze filled sails carrying her to deeper waters,
Above me seagulls swirl singing their daily song,
