There was this guy, he was down on his luck
He was truly povertys child
Well, he had no home and he had no car
And he wore a weary smile
Moved out to l.a., knocked around for awhile
But he was getting nowhere

Gentleman Manner
He was drunk and unconscious
Knew nothing what had made him famous
It was excessive drink and no control over action
People used to hate him with hostile reaction
He was kind at heart but no gentleman like manner
In this civilized he was just new and beginner
He always took care not to disturb any one
This was the only reason he was least hated one
No one has been successful so far
To come out of old habits and shine like star
Doe he not know that it was ruining his reputation?
He knew it well but had little hesitation
Every day he will take oath not to drink
But strong urge may make him to sink
He will resort to same old habit
Drink more to loose control and faint
'I want to improve' he told me in person

Do You?
When life gets hard?
Do you give up?
When people doubt you?
Do you prove them wrong?
When people say things?
Do you let it get to you?
When you don't want to be here?
Do you pretend you somewhere else?
When nobody seem to care?
Do you just wonder why?
When life doesn’t go your way?
Do you try to fix it?
When you don’t know what to do?
Do you do the only thing you know?
When you seem to give up on life?
Do you remember the good things that come out of it?
When people not who they seem?
Does that mean you can’t trust anybody?
When you give up on life,
You are missing the things that are offered.
When life gets hard,

Doing Their Best To Achieve
What advice would you give,
To anyone seeking with a wish...
To become successful.
'That's a difficult question.
I really don't know.
And advice?
I am no authority to be giving advice,
To anyone.'
Okay.
What would you say about those,
Who have given their support...
To the ones who do become successful.
'Few people know,
From the beginning who will become successful.
However...
I will say this,
It depends on the enviorment one lives in.
If one hears over and over again,
That they need to leave an enviornment...
In which people are not accustomed,
To those wishing to achieve success...
There will be many people there believing themselves,
Limited in mind and insecure.
And many will berate anyone choosing to think...
They can do something else with their lives,
Than wasting their time talking about others...
Doing their best to achieve.
And achievement takes work, discipline, devotion and sacrifice.
With a getting of very little sleep,
Those unaware would never accept to believe.'
Do you believe you are successful?
'Extremely.
I was born with the ability to ignore naysayers.
Especially those hiding their insecurities,
To make excuses to dump their self hatred on others.
And people like that I have known all my life.'

I've Had My Experiences
I admit I've had my experiences.
You name,
I've done it.
And If I am not whispering,
About my misdeeds...
Why do some find my activities,
Ear candy for others...
They believe to another,
For them will be pleased?
I've never understood this.
I admit to being adventurous.
I have my curiosities,
And will explore my inquisitiveness.
If I for myself set my own limits,
Why is it gossip a few enjoy best?
I will never understand,
The obsession some have with nosiness.
My own,
Yes!
Others?
No.
Those who gossip live lives discreetly.
Lieing to themselves and others to deceive.
Hoping to keep sheltered,
Everything imaginable that has a bit of sleaze.
And doing the best they can,
To cure themselves of diseases...
Obtained secretly.
When I tell people I live my life basically.
And many would find me boring.
I am the one not believed.
I am an adventurer not a whore.
And I do not intend to do things,
That will bring conscious harm to me.
Even though I do explore.
Well...
I do smoke cigarettes.
And if I was having 'that' kind of sex...
I would awaken the next day to regret,
I wouldn't have cigarette smoking as a habit.
Doing that...
Decreases the need to wish to have 'it'.
From what I've heard.
Those who smoke...
Have less sex!
I guess!
Some of my adventures,
Have not always been successful experiences.
Or turned out to be satisfying tests.

How to measure?
Is weeping, a hobby that people like to do as a pastime?
No, it is a revelation of pressure and hurtful reminiscences,
That plowed their heart and mind to prepare the growing ground,
Those who succeed seldom shed tears, as they reaped,
The good bounty, out of the softened soil that produced,
Those who yet to succeed and have failed, always weep,
For the hurt is not only healed, but also become septic,
By constant poking that stops the wound from drying.
The success is cultural in nature and it is in our mind set,
Are all the people who have more than enough money successful?
Are those who have obtained the highest qualification, successful?
Are they, who have the power over people's life very successful?
Yes, they are really successful, if they have helped and are useful,
So, stop weeping. Think of those good actions that you have done,
Everyone of us is successful as long as we have touched another heart.
Success is not a yardstick to measure the happiness,
that is shared among various hearts that beat in synchronize.

What is success it has never been mine
In their different ways people it do define
Some see success as money to your name
As a lack of such a barrier to fame
Though others with such thinking do not agree
