That's an important lesson: if you believe in what you're doing, don't let other people stop you.

Tic-Tac-Toe
(DickKellyMosleyRotheryTrewavas)
[The music for this song later became "The Release"]
We are led by the light at the end of the tunnel
We are guided by the fires of our burning dreams
We're inspired by our ideals and driven by conscience
To cross what the cynics perceive as naive
We the people want it straight for a change
We the people are getting tired of your games
We the people want the answers laid out on the lines
No more of your cheap propaganda
And stop talking tic-tac-toe
We the people fight your arms dealers wars
We the people want our futures secure
We the people want a peace staying all the way
So cut out your message
And take all your talking tic-tac-toe
Everyone needs a symbol ...
If you don't know of the reason
Well how can you take a stand ...
You need to be sure
You need to return to an open ...
Take a lesson from me
Take a lesson from me
That children play tic-tac-toe

Hetuaght me a lesson
He said he was going to
teach me a lesson.
I needed to no some things.
The lesson was rape.
But he said it was a game.
He said I had to learn sometime.
When he'd finished.
He smiled and said.
This happens to
Stupid little girls
All the time.
I was only teaching you a lesson.
If it was a lesson to learn
It was one well tuaght.
Be weary of who you trust.
For you never can
Read people like a book.
If you could
The world would be safe.
It was a lesson hard learned.
One that still remains today.
Its a lesson that effects me still.
I only wish I could
Of turned and run.
Only when your young
Like that you dont
Really understand.
If I did
I would of ran.
A thousand miles a way.
Out of reach.
And out of harms way.

I took group lessons at a rink near my home. We first had to learn how to stand up on the ice wearing skates. Eventually we learned to move forward, but soon found out that it was not that easy to stop! So that was our next important lesson.

3 Leaf Loser
BITING THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU
LYING TO THE VOICE INSIDE
REACH OUT TO BEG FOR SOMETHING
THIS LIFE IS A LESSON
TAKE WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN
FEEDING ON SELF DESTRUCTION
WAITING TO EXPLODE AGAIN
NO SIGN OF RESOLUTION
THIS LIFE IS A LESSON
TAKE WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN
YOU DON'T NEED DIRECTION TO FIND YOUR WAY
DON'T YOU LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW AND AGAIN
KILLING TIME
KILLING YOUR MIND OVER MATTER
STOP AND LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW
BEND ME BEFORE I BREAK DOWN
DYING TO BE FREE WITHIN
IT'S NOT HOW YOU'D LIKE TO SEE IT
THIS LIFE IS A LESSON
TAKE WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN
FORCING YOUR SELF SOLUTION AS YOU FALL INTO LINE AGAIN
WHEN WILL I FIND THE ANSWERS
THIS LIFE IS A LESSON
TAKE WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN
YOU DON'T NEED DIRECTOIN TO FIND YOUR WAY
DON'T YOU LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW AND AGAIN
KILLING TIME
KILLING YOUR MIND OVER MATTER
STOP AND LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW
FALLING TO THE GROUND
LEFT FACE DOWN AS I RECALL THE MIRROR'S UGLY GLARE
(REPEAT 3X)
YOU DON'T NEED DIRECTION TO FIND YOUR WAY
DON'T YOU LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW AND AGAIN
KILLING TIME
KILLING YOUR MIND OVER AMTTER
STOP AND LISTEN TO YOURSELF NOW

The Important People in my Life
There are two important people
In my life
The first important person is
The mother of my children
She is my light on a cloudy day
She is my heart that gives my life
She is my day and night
She is my other half
She is my moon bright and full
So the whole world can see us
Happy and free
The other important person is my son
My son is my littler self
My son is my joy
My son is my air that I breathe
These two people are the most important to me
But pretty soon it will be three

Aliens versus Men
'why cant we see
the aliens though
they are everywhere? '
'because they are
moving faster than light,
faster than our thoughts'
'why cant they stop
down to talk to us? '
'because our intelligence
is too low for them to
communicate with us.
it is like asking us to talk
with rats.'
why cant they stop to
elevate us to their level
since they are so intelligent?
'cos men have not
given up the animals
in them. men might
turn immediately
against them.'
'did they introduce
religion to help us
love each other,
to silence the beast in us? '
'did it help? '
'not really. see all
the wars in the name
of religion? '
' are we doomed? '
'Remember the dinosaurs
which never went beyond
body size and that fateful meteor.'
'Is that a lesson for us? '
'A big big lesson.'

Work.
It is not the work which is important,
But the lesson we learn under that time is dormant.
Many hates the work, always wish for something better,
But need the income and just suffer.
It is better to be the drummer boy, who did it for Jesus,
Happily giving his best as a bonus,
Which is the best thing to do in every job,
Instead being a suffering, rebelling slob.
Constantly open your mind to understand the lesson,
With a certain faith in a better and better illusion,
Because life is a dream how we think and believe,
Contentment, calm, peace or the whole life can be a grief.
If we are in one job the whole life through,
That means we never learned completely the lesson, still in that shoe,
Just go on and hope to find the answer,
Always be happy, do your best, sooner or later you find life better.

Light Is More Important Than The Lantern
Light is more important than the lantern,
The poem more important than the notebook,
And the kiss more important than the lips.
My letters to you
Are greater and more important than both of us.
The are the only documents
Where people will discover
Your beauty
And my madness.

Junky Car
What smoke, that is choking us
The people ask, nobody knows what it is
An old car that is honking
With tricycle tires and a motor that is backwards
I wait in the corner
Like always his faithful girlfriend
My friends are laughing
Whispering things about him
Old car, step by step
Don't stop coming
Old car, little by little
Don't you leave us
Old car, step by step
Don't stop coming
Old car, little by little
Don't you leave us
Look girls, I'm not sorry
And I'm not ashamed of my man
Even though he is poor and has an old car
He treats me like a queen, a man of truth
And even though he has an old car
What's important is that I'm going with him
He isn't the most handsome
But he's my faithful boyfriend
Old car, step by step
Don't stop coming
Old car, little by little
Don't you leave us
Old car, step by step
Don't stop coming
Old car, little by little
Don't you leave us

Fair Is Not Equal
(1-2-3 and...)
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
And there's nothing anyone,
Can say.
Advice that's good they don't obey!
And,
A price for this some people pay!
To stop it not!
Fair is not equal.
People see this everyday.
Repeated sequels...
Relived by some who love to stray,
Just to keep a fake face in place.
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
Fair is not equal.
People see this everyday.
Repeated sequels...
Relived by some who love to stray,
To keep charades played...
Made to chase.
Yet it doesn't go away.
No matter what the price paid.
But make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
To make it stop.
And nothing listened can be said,
To make it stop.
And this goes over people's heads.
(1-2-3 and...)
Make it stop!
You can not!
And this takes,
All you've got!
'Til it's dropped...
And gone!
People from their pain,
Turn away.
To make it stop.
And there's nothing you,
Can say.
To make it stop.
Advice that's good they don't obey!
To make it stop.
A price for this some people pay!
To make it stop.
A price for this some people pay!
To make it stop.
Fair is not equal.

And it wont stop.

And it wont stop.
People see this everyday.

So I think it's - what was important to me is that I found that I can't change the fact that people already have made an opinion about me. But I don't think that should stop me from trying to correct some of the misperceptions that are out there.

Can't Stop Loving You
I watch the leaves falling to the ground
I'm walking up and down
The streets of my hometown
You're here with me like it used to be
I look around and then I'm on my own again
Can't stop loving you
Can't stop wanting you
Can't stop now that you
Made me part of you
I've heard some people say
I'm dreaming my life away
But what else can I do
Can't stop loving you
Your face I see in my memory
I close my eyes and then
I start to live again
You're holding me like it used to be
I open my eyes and then
I'm on my own again
Can't stop loving you
Can't stop wanting you
Can't stop now that you
Made me part of you
I've heard some people say
I'm dreaming my life away
But what else can I do
Can't stop loving you
Can't stop loving you
Can't stop wanting you
Can't stop feeling blue
Can't stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
Oh I can't I can't I can't.......
