Squirrel Died Today
A squirrel died today on the street,
I tried to save him but he was already beat.
Beaten down to the ground by a car,
going fast and going far,
hitting the squirrel who was squashed on the tar,
squirrel could barely walk for he had a scar.
Please slow down,
Speeding cars kill,
killing innocent animals that
live on the hill.
Stop for birds, ducks and squirrels too,
what if that was your kid-
Wouldn’t you feel blue?
Slow, slow down for there is animals
living all around,
they want to make it to their homes.

The Squirrel Said
The Squirrel said.
'Attention all! '
He stands tall.
On a wooden fence,
in suspense.
Their Squirrel Head,
Their squirrel said,
'My nuts are gone,
My nuts are gone! '
Did you check under your bed?
Another squirrel joking said,
'Of course I did! ' the squirrel said,
'I am the Squirrel head'.
Maybe you forgot you've ate,
Autumn now, it's not too late,
Just look for more, Squirrel Head,
An elderly wise squirrel said.
The Coventry Squirrels
Near Coventry Cathedral, upon the green,
A group of grey squirrels can often be seen.
Squirrel food can be bought from the gift shop,
Where many of the City’s tourists do often stop.
The squirrels there are amazingly tame,
And seem to enjoy their relative fame.
Up and down the tall trees, they race;
Dashing around at an incredible pace.
When they spot a tourist walk along the path,
To them, it could mean food – they’re not daft!
Up in the trees or on the ground, they keep an eye,
On all of the people who are passing by.
When someone stops and looks their way.
They run on over to them, totally unafraid.
For food, they are always on the scrounge,
And luckily, for them, there’s plenty around.
I feel slightly unnerved if they come too near.
Inside, I begin to feel a slight sense of fear.
I saw on You Tube, a surprising video online,
Where, up someone’s leg, a squirrel did climb!
Watching the squirrels, I really do adore,
And always want to stay a few minutes more.
Watching them all, really does make my day,
And I find it incredibly hard to tear myself away.

SONG On: Animal Love
There lived a girl called Lovina,
Whose animal-love was great;
Tall, she was and so much lean, ah!
She sang songs for a treat.
She had a sister, with whom she fought,
Right from her child-hood days!
Both were aged, a year’s diff’rence;
And so they fight-her mother says.
She did her home-work, in a short time,
Dreamt while her mother cooks!
In argument, she was so good,
And loved to read animal-books.
Once there fell down, a small Squirrel,
As she stood ‘neath a Mango-tree;
She laid it gently in a box,
The Squirrel-babe was no more free!
She fed the Squirrel, fruit and nut,
And lullabied it to a sleep;
The baby Squirrel loved her much,
Their friendship grew so deep.
She sang to it and fondled it,
And talked to it whenever free;
She kept it cosy, neat and clean;
Her holidays, went off in glee!
One day, the Squirrel fell so ill;
Perhaps, it thought of its mother!
So, you must set the Squirrel free;
Her doctor-uncle advised her.
With Squirrel ill, her heart turned sad,
Poor Lovina, could not sleep well;
For long, she kept awake and cried;
Was the Squirrel ill ‘cause it fell?
The poor girl prayed, all night and day;
She prayed to God to make it well;
And wished, she could become a fay!
Her life now seemed to look like hell!
She kissed her Squirrel, one more time;
Her Uncle let it up a tree;
The Squirrel squeaked and wagged its tail;
And jumped with joy, away, afree!
Lovina too now wept with joy;
Her pet-Squirrel seemed quite alright!
Her heart leapt like the Squirrel, Boy!
Her Uncle’s words were quite correct.
But Lovina missed her Squirrel;
She visited the Mango-tree;
She hopes to meet her pet some day,
Her friend, never turned up to see!
Ye love your God through animals!
Ye love thy sister first, then else;
Man hath a soul, animals don’t,
“Love thy neighbour, ”the Poet tells!
specially dedicated to my neice Rubina, an animal-lover herself, a true incident in her life!

Squirrel Song
squirrels are singing
my heart is beating
hapiness it's all around
mother squirrel is chilling
i'm hunting and killing
a peanut if i had tonight
i'm playing and singing
i'm jumping from tree to tree
no one can change me
cause that`s what i wanna be
just a squirrel

The idea is that there is a kind of memory in nature. Each kind of thing has a collective memory. So, take a squirrel living in New York now. That squirrel is being influenced by all past squirrels.

Cat Died Today
Cat died today
crossing the street.
A loving lady was more than sweet.
She told me she didn't want the
cat to be run over anymore-
that's what I thought about the squirrel
months before.
Now we need to slow down and beware-
of creatures living in nature everywhere-
Lets look out for hurt ones
and show we care.

Meka had a toy camera
Meka had a toy camera,
presented by her Mummy Manjula
for her birthday;
While she was viewing through it,
She could see a few animals in it;
She showed it to me with enthusiasm,
I saw it with hilarious amusement;
While I see inside for the first time,
I asked her like a quiz whether she can guess;
I am seeing an animal with four letters,
Can you tell me what I see here?
She said, 'Is it a squirrel?
No, squirrel has eight letters,
tell me the animal you see real;
Is it tiger? but it has five letters,
Is it giraffe? but it has seven letters,
Tell me grandpa, what do you see?
I said, 'I can see a bear'!
Now she responded shrewdly,
If you click the camera several time,
You see a different animal every-time,
Squirrel, Tiger, Giraffe and Bear.

Two Crows (Fun Poem)
Two crows spied a piece of bread
Both landed beside it on the ground
They started to squabble over it
As neither wanted to share
While they squabbled about it
A passing squirrel spied it to
As the crows continued to squabble
The squirrel nicked it
Then made a hasty retreat.
The crows stopped squabbling
And decided the bread to share
But when they looked upon the ground
The bread was nowhere there
The moral of this story
Yes, there is one indeed
If you want to squabble
About food somewhere
Make sure there isn’t
A squirrel lurking there

Cant Slow Down
I know whats on your mind.
You feel youre wasting time.
Wanna talk about it?
You feel theres something wrong.
Dont feel like holding on.
You better think about it.
You say you jest cant see.
Dont lay that hurt on me.
What Im trying baby.
Got something on my mind.
Something Ive got to find.
Im on the move baby.
(chorus)
You see I (cant slow down)
Got to keep movin baby (cant slow down)
No I (cant slow down)
Oh (cant slow down)
Got to keep movin on, oh baby.
Im out here on the run.
Trying to get things done.
Can you hear me baby?
You think my loves nowhere.
You think I just dont care.
Are you kidding baby?
Dont make me play no games.
Too hard to just stay sane.
You know that time wont wait
Why should I hesitate.
Got to do it baby.
(chorus)
You see I (cant slow down)
I got to keep movin baby (cant slow down)
No I (cant slow down)
Cant stop baby, no (cant slow down)
Got to keep pushin
Got to keep movin on.
Oh, oh baby, ah, oh, oh baby.
(bridge)
Im working hard tryin to pull it together.
You know Ive got to right now.

Ive got to make it somhow...

Hazey Jane
Do you curse where you come from,
Do you swear in the night
Will it mean much to you
If I treat you right.
Do you like what you're doing,
Would you do it some more
Or will you stop once and wonder
What you're doing it for.
Hey slow Jane, make sense
Slow, slow, Jane, cross the fence.
Do you feel like a remnant
Of something that's past
Do you find things are moving
Just a little too fast.
Do you hope to find new ways
Of quenching your thirst,
Do you hope to find new ways
Of doing better than your worst.
Hey slow Jane, let me prove
Slow, slow Jane, we're on the move.
Do it for you,
Sure that you would do the same for me one day.
So try to be true,
Even if it's only in your hazey way.
Can you tell if you're moving
With no mirror to see,
If you're just riding a new man
Looks a little like me.
Is it all so confusing,
Is it hard to believe
When the winter is coming
Can you sign up and leave.
Hey slow Jane, live your lie
Slow, slow jane, fly on by.

I Peep on You
I peep on you
When you say
You don’t love me
I saw your rose pulps
I peep on you
I saw you rested your love
On the bowl
I peep on you
I saw your barbaric tits waving
Water dripping from there
Right to your squirrel
I peep on you
I saw your squirrel
Wet but breathing
Seems like in hunger
For partner
I peep on you
When you say
You don’t love me
I saw your beautiful face
As horny
As your squirrel

New To The Neighborhood
I know you are new to the neighborhood.
And with that said...
I would caution you not to make any attempts,
To treat the other squirrels you see around here...
With respect or hints of it.
Since...
If you permit yourself to do that...
You just might find your nuts cracked.
'That's fine with me.
Isn't that the purpose?
I would consider that a neighborly act of unity.
And if I may admit this...
Sometimes it would be nice to sit and relax.
Knowing that another squirrel would do that for me.
And I didn't have to scratch any squirrel's back,
To keep my own nuts protected.'
Yeah...
You're new.
You've taken my comments...
Too far out on branches dislocated from the trees.
You must be a rehabilitated nut crusher?
Have you just been released,
From those Scotch Pines behind the Maples?
'No!
I'm a realist.'

Little Acorns
Take all your problems
And rip em apart
Carry them off
In a shopping cart
And another thing
You shouldve known from the start
The problems in hand
Are lighter than at heart
Be like the squirrel, girl
Be like the squirrel
Give it a whirl, girl
Be like the squirrel
And another thing
You have to know in this world
Cut up your hair
Straighten your curls
Well, your problems
Hide in your curls

A Flow of Love
Yeah!
Slow and Slow
ye stare
with eyes-
eyes innocent
as doe
Slow and Slow
you emptied
my cup
A cup
of woe
Slow and Slow
ye vanquished
my foes
hidden
inner foes
Slow and Slow
Ye pour
A wine of joy
in a goblet
with glow
Slow and Slow
Ye stamp
my cells
from
head to toe
Slow and slow
Ye weed out
ignorance
with your
divine hoe
Slow and slow
Ye open
petals
of my mind
for glorious show
Slow and slow
you rescued
me from claws
A dangerous
Maya's claws
Slow and slow
you weeded
out my flaws
habitual
mortal flaws
Slow and slow
Ye brought me
under yoke
A yoke
of divine law
Slow and slow
please come
in my life
with your
majestic flow
Because
Our separation
waiting on death row
our rendezvous
hot desert in a
storm of snow

Snail
We already know snails are very slow
Reason behind, they carry along adobe;
placed on their back.
Blessed are many birds and small animals
can get easy food the snail's predators;
by virtue of being slow.
Can't run faster than enemies to defend,
so prefer to live in the shells, hidden;
but alas! enemies break.
Sometimes dogs and cats kill just playing,
snails can't do anything except praying;
defend by body colouring.
Not only animals, human too is great threat,
capture for own food millions of them;
thinking delicious and appetizer.
In cricket, only few players can hit a ton,
In laying eggs most of she snails can;
mating several times a year.

Previously Intellingent Mammals
There are some animals
that they grow up very slow.
They believe that this world
is made and turns only around them.
That the joy and happiness
must be the only purpose of their life.
That if they want to survive
they must exterminate all the other animals.
That the life is very short
and unique to be somebody patient.
There are some animals that don't
accept death as a part of their life.
Some of them wish to be another animal
A stronger animal, more clever, better looking.
There are some animals
that they live very different
from all the other animals
Call them.....................man.
