Renee My Cousin
On the other coast by the sea,
is my cousin Renee who is sweet as can be.
She has two children who are almost preteens,
they are really creative with lots of energy.
Renee works in L.A.'s entertainment industry-
in fact she worked with lawyers at Spelling TV.
Renee got promoted as manager as one of her first jobs out there,
but she had to wait till they fired the head guy and his mistress with long hair.
When Spelling TV was bought out, she had to train lawyers all the nuts and bolts.
Renee was born on island with sand,
she was born in the Dominican Republic which is grand.
Her dad worked an ambassador in the government,
a war was going on the island, so as a baby on a ship she went.
Renee and her mom got the States alright,
lots of stories for Renee has had an interesting life.
Her friends tell her a movie she should write,
I think it would be a great movie,
maybe a comedy, a drama, nothing boring or light.
Best wishes Renee on more stories to share which are upbeat,
it will keep the movie goers on the edge of their seat.

Uncle Norm And Aunt Audrey
As a child I remember those days
when Aunt Audrey would come from faraway.
Aunt Audrey was tall and wore jewelry like rings
she brought gifts and interesting things.
Aunt Audrey lived in Japan, the far east
she had an interesting life to say the least.
Her daughters Marlena and Renee
had played with us for a couple of days.
Then they would leave on a plane
I would see them again at an older age.
Uncle Norm I also saw when I was young
we traveled to Rhode Island when I was age 1.
Then I would see Aunt Audrey & Norm
in the sunshine state—
they lived in a development with wooden gates.
I celebrate Christmas and the holidays
with them, Marlena and Renee.
Cousin Marlena and Renee
have children now who live on
the west coast in the Golden State.

Revolution of Dominican Republic
On April 24,1965
the Revolution for Dominican Republic was alive.
President Donal J Read Cabral was forced out
president Garcia Godoy came with a shout.
Leader of Revolution was Francisco Alberto Caamano
he was great—but they had to use ammo.
Cousin Renee was born on island that same year
she had to get on ship while war was near.
I wasn't born till '66'
I was up north giving my mom happiness.
Amazingly still on that day eventful day in '65'
my cousin and aunt made it safely, blessed and alright-
and the Dominican Republic will never be the same
mostly Americans live there now for things have changed.

Renée
Rain, and the night, and the old familiar door,
And the archway dim, and the roadway desolate;
Faces that pass, and faces, and more, yet more:
Renée! come, for I wait.
Pallid out of the darkness, adorably white,
Pale as the spirit of rain, with the night in her hair,
Renée undulates, shadow-like, under the light,
Into the outer air.
Mournful, beautiful, calm with that vague unrest,
Sad with that sensitive, vaguely ironical mouth;
Eyes that flame with the loveliest, deadliest
Fire of her passionate youth;
Mournful, beautiful, sister of night and rain,
Elemental, fashioned of tears and fire,
Ever desiring, ever desired in vain,
Mother of vain desire;
Renée comes to me, she the sorceress, Fate,
Subtly insensible, softly invincible, she:
Renée, who waits for another, for whom I wait,
To linger a moment with me.

I Say Farewell
I Say Farewell
By Renee'
I say farewell
To all my bad days
I say farewell
To the darkness that enveloped me
I say farewell
To my lost love
I say farewell
To the hurt you caused me
I say farewell
To our shared dreams
I say farewell
No more just you.
I say hello
To new friends
I say Hello
To a new day
I say hello
To the rest of my life.
Although it will take time
I say hello
To a new me
Although I still cry a tear for you
I say farewell
To Anne
I say hello to feature relationships.

Walk Away Renee
(brown/calilli/sansone)
And when I see the sign that points one way
The one we used to pass by every day
Just walk away renee
You wont see me follow you back home
The empty sidewalks on my block are not the same
Youre not to blame
From deep inside the fear that I forced aside
From deep inside the pain that I chose to hide
Just walk away renee
You wont see me follow you back home
Now as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes
For me it cries
Just walk away renee
You wont see me follow you back home
Now as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes
For me it cries
Your name and mine inside a heart upon a wall
Still find a way to haunt me, though theyre so small
Just walk away renee
You wont see me follow you back home
The empty sidewalks on my block are not the same
Youre not to blame

Rivers of Russia
Arctic Rivers race down the tundra,
the taiga, the steppes, become the long rivers,
the Volga, the Dnieper, the Don— then push on
to pour themselves into the Black Sea—
sometimes flowing iridescent silver with moonlight,
sometimes brown, sometimes green, sometimes dark gray or blue,
sometimes incandescent red with blood, sometimes pure gold.

Walk Away Renee
The lyrics as they performed it
When I see the sign that points one way.
The lot we used to pass by every day.
Just walk away renee,
You wont see me follow you back home.
And as the rain beats down,
Upon my weary eyes.
For me it cries.
Your name and mine inside a heart, upon the wall,
Still find a way to haunt me,
Though theyre so small.
Just walk away renee,
You wont see me follow you back home.
These empty sidewalks on my block
Are not the same.
Youre not to blame.

Marlena My First Cousin Born
Marlena who is my first cousin born on Jenek side,
traveled with her family worldwide.
Marlena was born in Rome as an infant
her Dad worked for the government,
Yes, Marlena was born in Rome,
far away from her first Virginia home.
Marlena celebrated her 40th birthday in this Italian city,
Rome was very sheik, elegant and pretty.
Marlena lives in L.A. now on the other coast,
she's had an interesting life, she never boasts.
She works in the entertainment industry,
she works for a casting company.
Her name has been in the credits on the screen,
she has met and seen, famous actors and those in between.
Marlena has a daughter who one day will be cast,
in maybe a musical which will be a blast.
Best wishes for Marlena's and her family,
they are all very talented I do agree.

An Ode To Dying
An ode to dying
by Renee'
As I walk through this Dark Valley
With this never ending pain in my belly
I cry, why?
Why? Why? Why?
I’m lost in this spinning world
I’m so alone
I cry here on my own
I can’t take its highs and lows anymore
This pain and suffering hurts so sore
I don’t want to live no more
No sleep
No food
No! No! No!
I cry, why?
Why? Why? Why?
I just want to die
Die! Die! Die!
No friends
No lovers
No one
No! No! No!
Let me lie in death’s cold bosom
Let me feel death’s dark peace
Please death, give me this release
No more crying
No more tears
No more lies
No more! No more!
Don’t come near
For I’m full of hurt, I fear
I’m full of hate
Don’t come near
I need to walk through death’s door, my dear
No love
No hate
No smiles
Just peace
Oh give me this release

I Want To But Never Can
I want to go far and beyond
But cant
I want to be free
But I am contained
I want to complain outloud
But I will be judged
By people who are
Worse off in life than Iwill ever be
I want to be created
But I am rejected
I have discovered that life
There are boxes that
You have to fit, To be accepted
They draw a picture
Then they want to apply
But I want to be free
To be me
But they never want to see
What I amcoming to be
A demented human being
Trying to be what
Everyones picture is describing
But they are not realizing
That the true
Amanda Renee Garcia is dieng
Not able to focus
On what I truelly want
I try to RUN
But their grasp
It gets tighter aroung my legs
I scream out in pain
Mine-as-well do what
Everyone else wants
Because Like I said:
If I talk, Iwill be judged
If I want to go far, I will only be able to take one step
I have discovered
That life Takes you where you dont want to be
I am Amanda Renee Garcia
And
Life is suficating
