Birds, Converging
Sun salved, we sit on the front porch, careful
when we speak, watching the crows swagger near
the property line, dabbing – what. A nest
of grubs? Ice-wintered berries? New grass shoots?
Such purposeful pecking. They pause, sky-tipped.
Resume their work. Curious, we step close –
a starling twitches at their feet. One eye
gone, the other blinking fast, rib cage open
to the sun as the snow unravels from
our roof, soaking the lawn. Your arm touches mine
and all the words we had this morning fall
away like the empty husks piled under the feeder,
seeds cracked open by the birds, converging.

Set them free..They will multiply..
Watching the birds is real fun,
no need dime, only the time,
colorful birds to colored birds,
chirping birds to singing birds,
flying birds to walking birds,
cunning birds to love birds,
Watching birds is just a lesson,
making mind to have a vision.
collect the twigs to make the nest,
one by one, they think the best,
choose the right tree,
just high and free,
Making the nest perfect,
without any single defect,
The birds toil together or alone,
all day long until it is done.
I bought two love birds,
that were kept in a cage.
Hung the cage under the balcony,
above the reach of dogs not felony.
chirping disturbed their sleep,
Nikko, the dog set them free.
Only two flew away,
but I have a few dozens now,
making their nests,
right in front of me, on the trees.
Watching the birds is real fun,
no need dime, only the time.

A Poem For My Friend Angel.....'bout Birds....[Nature observations; Personal]
I enjoy seeing birds at our backyard feeder,
And, from bushes and trees, hearing some birds that 'tweeeeeter'.
Tiny black seeds attract finches, which have the name ‘gold'....
Who flee from grey juncos which are larger and bold.
Flitting chickadees and 'tufted' titmice, from feeder, eat seed,
While, on the ground, sparrows, towhees, and doves often feed.
They scatter when a blue and white scrub jay flies by,
Or when, overhead, a prowling hawk they do spy.
Waxwings and robins come to pick some nearby berries.
'sorry birdies, ....we have neither grapes nor red cherries.'
Ravens, vultures, and gulls pass high in the air, while
Bushtits and 'hummers' come closer to my chair.
I don't see all these birds every week, but.....i've seen more,
And some non-feathered friends pause, not far from our door.
And when around me i see no animal creatures.....
I enjoy all the plants....that our landscape features.

I Like Birds
I cant look at the rocket launch
The trophy wives of the astronauts
And I wont listen to their words
cause I like
Birds
I dont care for walkin downtown
Crazy auto-car gonna mow me down
Look at all the people like cows in a herd
Well, I like
Birds
If youre small and on a search
Ive got a feeder for you to perch on
I cant stand in line at the store
The mean little people are such a bore
But its alright if you act like a turd
cause I like
Birds
If youre small and on a search
Ive got a feeder for you to perch on
Ive got a feeder for you to perch on
If youre small and on a search
Ive got a feeder for you to perch on
Ive got a feeder for you to perch on

This Is The Picture
Excellent birds
Flying birds
Excellent birds
Watch them fly, there they go
Falling snow
Excellent snow
Here it comes. watch it fall
Long words
Excellent words
I can hear them now
This is the picture, this is the picture
This is the picture, this is the picture
Im sitting by the window
Watching the snow fall
Im looking out
And Im moving, turning in time
Catching up. moving in
Jump up! I can land on my feet. look out!
This is the picture, this is the picture
This is the picture, this is the picture
Looking out. watching out
When I see the future I close my eyes
I can see it now
I see pictures of people, rising up
Pictures of people, falling down
I see pictures of people
Theyre standing on their heads, theyre ready
Theyre looking out, look out!
Theyre watching out, watch out!
Theyre looking out, look out!
Theyre watching out, watch out!
I see pictures of people
I see pictures of people

Pearls B4 The Swine
If I leave my front door open
would u come and visit me?
Just 2 slander my name hopin'
that I would pack my bags and leave...
If I did would u remember
2 feed the dove and clean the cage?
And never count in front of the children
lest they die of old age
I don't really know y we have 2 go r separate ways
Whether or not we grow after the seeds r shown
Only time can say...
Can I offer u baklava?
or a bagel with cream cheese?
Will we say grace 2 r father
holding hands down on r knees?
R we better off just fighting?
U on ur side, me on mine
R the words that I keep writing...
only pearls b4 the swine?
What makes men claim that u're a friend
when u're not at all?
They knock u down and then,
they lift u up again, just 2 c u fall...
But like a bird I'll keep on singing...
a song that never leaves ur mind
If nothing else u've taught me one thing...
"Never cast ur pearls b4 the swine

Watching Me Watching You
I sit by the cutting on the beaconsfield line.
Hes watching me watching the trains go by.
And they move so fast --- boy, they really fly.
Hes still watching me watching you watching the
Trains go by.
And the way he stares --- feel like locking my door
And pulling my phone from the wall.
His eyes, like lights from a laser, burn
Making my hair stand --- making the goose-bumps crawl.
Hes watching me watching you watching him
Watching me
Im watching you watching him watching me
Watching stares.
At the cocktail party with a bucks fizz in my hand
I feel him watching me watching the girls go by.
And they move so smooth without even trying.
Hes still watching me watching you watching the
Trains go by.
And the crowd thins and he moves up close but he doesnt speak.
I have to look the other way.
But curiosity gets the better part of me and I peek:
Got two drinks in his hand --- see his lips move ---
What the hells he trying to say.
Hes watching me watching you watching him
Watching me.
Im watching you watching him watching me
Watching stares.
Hes watching me watching you watching him
Watching me.
Hes watching me watching you watching
The trains go by.
Hes watching me watching you watching him
Watching me.
Hes watching me watching you watching him watching me.
Hes watching me watching you watching him watching me watching him watching.

On To Something More Concrete
i
i check on the word 'grass'
not in the wikipedia
i check that word outside
i step on the lawn where grass is
i sit upon it and lay my head upon its softness
the grass is cool and comforting
early this morning
ii
i like to check on something more concrete
than what the word signifies
the puffiness of the clouds
the blueness of the skies
the coldness of water
the salt of the sea
how the waves travel and arrive at the shore
i lay my body on the sand
open my eyes to the sky and trace the paths that clouds travel by
i swim to the coldness of the sea and taste with my tongue its salt
i touch the waves
i wait upon the shore and let my hours pass away
iii
this is the earth where i live
where i step upon
it is real, it is never fake
it is as concrete as each word signifies
iv
i speak now to You
Let me thank You for all these
I am alive.

Cause nobody in the world can be like me
Youre looking for something I already found
A smoother move, a better sound
Represent yourself as me, myself, and i
Make your own plan, come on and try!
Ideas nowadays are hard to find
But dont touch mine whats mine is mine!
A: why do you want to be like me?
Why do you want whats mine?
You know this is my property, babe, youre losing this time
You are wasting time and energy cause you just cant take whats mine
You better save your time and energy gotta get it out of your mind

One Saturday Morning At The Mountain Top Inside The House
it is raining outside
it is the habitualness of the image that flows inside us
green grass and rolling hills and clouds a drifting
the sound of rain like footsteps of children playing under the shower from heaven
i sit upon a chair looking outside
i am not thinking about anything simply watching the rain
the green grass
the trees the sea and the horizon that extends more than what my eyes can see
more than what i can contain
this empty bowl with a wide mouth open
this hollowness that cannot speak because it does not have the exact words
to say
it seems to me that the correct existence that fills this void is nothing
but the silence of the trees, the grass, the hills and the far away seas

I Walk The Line
Album: Kindred Spirits - Johnny Cash Tribute
I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you are mine, I walk the line
I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, I'll admit I'm a fool for you
Because you are mine, I walk the line
--- Instrumental ---
I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
And because you are mine, I walk the line.
Yes, because you are mine, I walk the line..

An Ambassador's Prayer
Lord, please tune my ears so that they may hear
Words spoken by you that I count so dear
Then open my eyes so that they may see
Opportunities for You to work through me
Walk close to me throughout this coming week
And may my lips to all of Your love speak
And please equip my hands to reach and do
Some small work of love and kindness for You
Oh Lord, May these arms of mine by Your grace
through Your great love some struggling soul embrace
Then upon my legs place such willing feet
That walk close to You as others I greet
Blessed Holy Spirit make me I pray
An ambassador for my Lord this day
So that others may look at me and see
The beauty of Jesus shining through me
I Walk The Line
I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the ties that bind
Because youre mine I walk the line
I find it very very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each days through
Yes I admit it, I am a fool for you
Because youre mine I walk the line
As sure as night is dark and days light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness Ive known proves that its right
Because youre mine, I walk the line
Youve got a way to keep me on your side
You give me cause for love that I cant hide
For you I know Id even try to turn the tide
Because youre mine, I walk that line
I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because youre mine, I walk the line
Because youre mine, I walk the line
Because youre mine, I walk the line
Im gonna walk it
Im gonna walk the line
Im gonna walk it, walk it, walk it
Im gonna walk that line
Im gonna walk it because youre mine
Im gonna walk it, walk it
Im gonna walk the line
Im gonna walk it, walk it
Im gonna walk the line
Im gonna walk it
Im gonna walk the line

My Sister, My Friend
I remember
Summer days
Walking in the woods
Running through the meadow
Splashing in the stream
Resting in the tall golden grass
Naming the cloud
I remember
I remember
Winter nights
Aurora Borealis
Skating in the yard
Sleighing the big and little dipper
Might Orion ready for battle
Snow creatures
I remember
I remember
Fall leaves
Chestnuts on the lawn
Dino and Deadeye, Puff and Princess (cats)
'Looking out my back Door' from your room
Backyard swinging and singing
Adventurous bike rides
I remember
I remember
Spring rains
Lily of the valley
Lilacs for Nana
Robin's nest
Singing loudly on the front porch
Tweetie and Sweetie (parakeets)
I remember

Yesterday is stuck in my thoughts
Although I feel battered,
spent and chased away
yesterday is stuck in my thoughts.
Where we had breakfast
on the porch,
watched birds
pecking up seed and crumbs
and the lovely setting sun
caught in different colours
on the clouds,
but now I am alone
and have a view
of pink hollyhocks
on long green stems
protruding next to and over
a sawn down tree
of which the trunk
is like modern art
fingering up
out of a rock-garden
and some birds peck
against the mirrored windows
of my bedroom / study
and the big old brown Labrador
and the little golden Cocker Spaniel
lie stretched out on the lawn
watching the road
and I do not know
what happened to us
or why I am still
battling to get a job
and why the expenses
of life shattered
us apart
and yet after every thing
that happened between us
I love you still
and are amazed
that you are gone.

Snow Fall in the Moonlight
Snow fall in the moonlight,
Like soft cotton falling from the sky,
Covering the ground and bushes in pure white,
Glowing beautifully in the night of December.
Snow fall in the moonlight,
Like a child I walked happily through the pure white snow,
Making soft crackling sound in the silent winter night,
When I reached the far end of the open field,
I turned to see the path I had taken,
A straight line through the pure white snow.
Snow fall in the moonlight,
Can there be a more beautiful sight than this?
As I look into the night sky,
And the soft snow flakes touches my face,
I breathe the fresh cold air of the winter night.
As I stood alone in silence, stillness in the air,
My feeling and longing comes to my lips,
And I thank Allah for this beautiful moment,
A chance to see snow fall in the moonlight!

Clockwork Emotion
Clockwork emotion, fury causing time to tick away
Betrayals and wars bring around love in this day
There is blood on our hands, created a disaster
A wound left to fester causes the disease faster
Can't be alone any longer in this dark war zone
Everyone has an evil side a perfect little red clone
Everything you refuse to accept they use to mould
This world is everything they made, not what we hold
Lock away your worries, blue and red, careful little pill
Dreams, they hold so much reality, insanity used to kill
Break a little more, words that are told with no regret
Frozen in the mind, burnt in time, truths that we forget
It's time that we open that box, fight our own battles
Take it back, speak out against and see their cage rattle
Nothing can stop the words that flow now, don't try
Step through the mirror, let the fear go, broken lie
Shadows follow a step behind finally back in place
It seems the white rabbit fails in this annoying chase
Running in circles, open up their eyes for a chance
Now that the dark is light view this world now enhanced

Reality
I stand at noon upon the heated flags
At the bleached crossing of two streets, and dream
With brain scarce conscious now the hurrying stream
Of noonday passengers is done. Two hags
Stand at an open doorway piled with bags
And jabber hideously. Just at their feet
A small, half-naked child screams in the street,
A blind man yonder, a mere hunch of rags,
Keeps the scant shadow of the eaves, and scowls,
Counting his coppers. Through the open glare
Thunders an empty wagon, from whose trail
A lean dog shoots into the startled square,
Wildly revolves and soothes his hapless tail,
Piercing the noon with intermittent howls.
