Razor blade

Razor blade razor blade
Sharpe glass shards
Knife blades
And all things sharpe.
These are my only friends

They slice into my flesh
Crimson blood flows.
Blood and sharps
Their my only friends

Razor sharp
To cut my skin
Get the badness out
Leaving trails of blood
Many scars left behind

Razor

===========================
Smashing Pumpkins - Razor
===========================
Razor in my hand
Nine little lines in someone's hand
Shot down from this group
I wish for something and I know it isn't home
Razor in my hand
Six little lines in someone's hand
Lay down, rest your head
You reach for something, and you feel something sting
Razor, razor, razor, razor
Want it
Now you rip apart who you are
Deliver
Yeah, you deliver who you are
Oh, razor
My little razor
Oh, razor
I wanna go
I wanna go
I'm like a junkie, I want it all
I wanna go
Want it
Now you rip apart who you are
Deliver
Yeah, you deliver who you are
Oh, razor
My little razor
My little razor
I wanna go
I wanna go
I'm like a junkie, I want it all
I wanna go

Who Do You Think We Are

Who do you think we are
I'm machinery
With a semi-automatic heart
I'm unclassified
I terminate, I tear apart
I'm always there when you think I'm not
I'm razor sharp and I'm white and hot
My finger squeezes out the final shot
Say "Goodbye"
No integrity
No conscience, I'm just sold and bought
I'm insanity
I'm a camouflag-ed work of art
I've done some things
I really can't describe
I've made some mouths open pretty wide
And I am licensed - trained and bona fide
Say "Goodbye"
Who do you think we are
Special forces in an armored car
Who do you think we are
We don't care, we don't care
I'm carnivorous
Can't count the flesh that I've been through
Never sick of this
I'm red and white and black and blue
I'm always there when you think I'm not
I'm razor sharp and I'm white and hot
My finger squeezes out the final shot
Say "Goodbye"
Who do you think we are
Special forces in an armored car
Who do you think we are
We don't care, we don't care

Pink roses

There are pink rose
behind the razor wire,
the cups of some are already open
and the buds of some
still is closed.

Green stems protrude
over a white wall
where razor sharp wire
cordon it off

and the soft scent
of flourishing flowers
catches me while
I walk to the post box
to get some letters.

Pick me up

That my nerves, cool is misery
That my knees, not as youth
That my face as ploughed land
Though
A brain as sharp as razor
My heart as a blossoming flower
Your wrinkled face so tender
Yester-sunsets
Your voice still as a songbird
Lifts up my soul
Sing
Pick me up my dear.

Shattered

No armoured heart
Transparent as glass
And just as brittle,
Shattering at harsh words.
I have no defence
Against your lanced barbs,
Razor sharp to cut, slice.
You inflict the death blow
And I am stripped to the soul

Lovely Razor

Cut deep lovely razor
Into my tender flesh
Release the scarlet torrents
Flow free
Bright and fresh
Scar me lovely razor
Where ever you can touch
Let me lean upon you
My shiny silver crutch
I ask you lovely razor
Make my outside match the in
So the world sees what's it done
And that they might just win
Heal me lovely razor
Of the pain deep in my soul
And keep my feelings locked up tight
Now that is my end goal
Stop me lovely razor
Before I cut to deep
Or else I shall be on my owm
In the long and final sleep
Don't my lovely razor
Cross the empty void
For I want to rest in peace
Cause my life you've destroyed

In Memoriam (A Child Missed)

A desk lies empty
A missing face to find
A child soon missed by some
Another life consumed by one

A classmate questioned
A missing child to find
While a desk lies empty
A hope dwindles with time

As a child's life once abound
A child's fate is now found
While a desk lies empty
A lifeless child is found

As questions of why arise
A time for tears to flow
While a desk lies empty
A prayer for a missed child we know

A quiet voice to miss
A child missed we know
While a desk lies empty
A question of why to know

A future now not to be
A tragic loss we are told
While a desk lies empty
An answer of why yet untold

A myriad of lives changed
Another youthful innocent lost
While a desk lies empty
At a life's innocence cost

A society believed so rich
And yet a life's worth so poor
While a desk lies empty
Another child's life's no more

A time to ponder a commitment
A life's question to answer
While a desk lies empty...

I Need A Sure Thing

You are a razor blade
You are precision-cut
You are a stare sharp as the tack in my eye?
At rest in my veins
[Your pulse in my neck?]
As sharp-edged as questions the time I have left
And so you are on my mind.
I need a burning stake
I need a piercing dart
I need something as hot as it is sharp
And I need to bleed
I need to burn
I need a sure thing
I need a sure thing
And you are a mystery to me
You are a paper bird
Folded and folded and creased
And bent and shaped from a five dollar bill
It's priceless to me
And never spent
It hangs from a ceiling fan over my bed
And so you are on my mind

Uncle's Shave.

Uncle’s Shave.

You used to watch Uncle
shave in front of the small mirror

propped on the edge
of the kitchen sink,

his face lathered
in white soap,

his cutthroat razor
held just a short distance

from his skin
by his right hand,

as the other hand
held the skin taut

in preparation
of the razor’s slide.

You stood behind
fascinated,

your young eyes
searching the mirror’s world

of Uncle’s face
and the performers start.

Uncle watched you
in the mirror,

his lips breaking
into a small smile,

the razor held
just above his ear,

his eyes staring above
the shaving foam,

taking in
your fascinated gaze,

the open mouth,
your hands copying

Uncle’s motion
in pretend shave.

Uncle drew the razor down
his cheek in slow motion,

the face becoming visible
as the soap gave way,

the hand dipping
the razor in water

to rid of foam,
to begin again,

more soap removed,
more skin revealed.

You copied Uncle,
but not so skilled.

Three Button Hand Me Down

(rod stewart, ian mclagen)
I dont need no ones opinion
On the matter concerning my dress.
I was raised in a clinic down in oklahoma,
There were many things I did not possess.
Well I never complained, because my father said,
Son you get your chance before youre my age.
Then he took me upstairs and gave me this suit
(? ) written all over his face
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever youre goin
Three button hand me down
Three button hand me down
Hold on a minute
Now I had my fair share of neat women,
But they came between me and my suit.
That was a filly from boston, a barmaid from houston,
Not forgetting the one in detroit.
They said, we like you boy and we think youre sweet,
But cant you lose your suit?
I said, nononono, you cant do that to me
I remember what my father said:
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever youre goin
Three button hand me down, ha ha,
Three button hand me down
Ive never been a tidy dresser
And the fold in my trousers it aint straight.
Still I know a good cloth when I see one.
Thats why Im clad in this gray flannel suit.
Sometimes I wonder if I should visit a tailor
And get myself a smooth outfit.
Then I remember what my father said to me.
I make it from the open road, you all know this
He said, others may come and others may go,
But that suit will be around wherever you go
Three button hand me down,
Three button hand me down, ha ha

Words Sometimes Take On A Own Meaning

Words sometimes take on a own meaning
and sometimes they are sharp and painful
as if there is much more to words

as if a kind of secret knowledge hides in them
that are sometimes something moving.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning

but somehow words can at times miss things
and are sometimes dependent on feelings
as if there is much more to words

when through it all love brings a kind of bonding
and so you and I are attractive to each other.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning

and daily a bond develops between us,
while you become more considerable to me,
as if there is much more to words

you constantly live in my thoughts,
while love becomes real through words.
Words sometimes take on a own meaning
as if there is much more to words…

This Is A Forgery

This is a forgery,
This is a forgery.
Every single word is plagiarized.
Copied twice and thrice inscribed.
This is a forgery.
There is a path,
and to get where its leading,
you've got to be sharp and never bend easy.
This is an enemy.
Compliments and chemistry.
Cavalier and so charming.
This isn't everything,
this isn't everything.
I had a fit,
and you had a feeling.
There was a path,
and to get where its leading,
you head to be sharp,
you couldn't swerve side to side.
I was a razor,
you were a straight line.
This is a travesty,
this is a travesty,
every sentiment has been contirved.
Palatable and so refined.
Sugar and sweet to appetize.
I had a fit,
you had a feeling.
There was a path,
and to get where its leading,
you head to be sharp,
you couldn't swerve side to side.
I was a razor,
you were a staright line.
This is a forgery,
this is a forgery.
Every single word is plagiarized.
Copied twice and thrice inscribed.
This is a forgery.
And we were looking out,
for some shining light,
but it was casket black,
so we would search all night.

Freak Of The World

Dont want the sun to shine upon my face
And i see your eyes and their glazy haze
Your lips dont move
But i hear what you're saying
I look outside through the razor blades
And i crawl and i scrape and i feel for you
But there's nothing
There's nothing that i can do
Im a freak
Im the freak of the world
Im a freak
Freak of the world
Stars are shining oh so bright
And i dont think everything's alright
And i can't wake up
Cuz i dream all night
Yeah you're in my way
And i can't get bye
And i beg and i cheat and i steal for you
But there's nothing
There's nothing that i can do
Im a freak
Im the freak of the world
Im the freak of the world
Im the freak of the world
And there's nothing i can say
And there's nthing you can do
And there's nothing i can say or do
Dont want the sun to shine upon my face
And i see your eyes and their glazy haze
Your lips dont move but i hear what you're saying
I look out side through the razor blades
And i try
(through the razor blades)
And i scream
(through the razor blades)
I can see your face
Im the freak of the world
Im the freak of the world
Im the freak of the world
And there is nothing i can say
And there is nothing you can do
And there is nothing i can say or do
Caz im the freak of the world
Im a freak
Of the world

Sonnet: Do the Right Things

Are you comfortable in your coat/suit?
Does your neck turn freely while wearing your tie?
Do you evince joy, eating others’ fruit?
Better be pauper than rich man and die!

The things we do must suit the occasion;
We must do those things that suit too, the clime;
What is the use of living in mansion?
You should be content earning just a dime!

Copy not others nor ape someone else;
Do things your brain tells rightly nev’rtheless;
Nothing that’s earthly all the time sells;
Think of the orphans, handicapped, homeless!

You love your brethren and love God through them,
Man’s soul is priceless: costliest the gem!

There isn't a coliseum any more, but the city is a bigger bowl, and it seats more people. The razor-sharp claws aren't those of wild animals but man's can be just as sharp and twice as vicious. You have to be quick, and you have to be able, or you become one of the devoured, and if you can kill first, no matter how and no matter who, you can live and return to the comfortable chair and the comfortable fire. But you have to be quick. And able. Or you'll be dead.

Hot To Trot

She had a shake like a belly dancer
and a body like a tiger tiger (uh huh, uh huh)
She was looking at me
Now you know that I ain't no dancer
But there's gotta be a way to meet her
So I just walked up to her and said
Are you hot to trot?
Well I knew I was looking cool
Pretty sharp like a razor razor (uh huh, uh huh)
She was smiling at me
So I said if you got the notion
We could take a little trip to the ocean
She said that'll be OK
'Cause I'm hot to trot
We were having a ball by the water
Talking about life and philosophizing (uh huh, uh huh)
She was really talking to me
She said I can't understand why you gotta hustle
Struttin' and posin' and flexin' muscle
So I said, well that's easy baby
I'm hot to trot

The Love Letter

She wonders how to begin her letter
She knows he will read each word
Greedily for any hint of love. She knows
He will sniff the paper for any scent of her

She leans an elbow on her writing desk
And clutches her pen tight. She has got
As far as, Dear John, but then the words
Stopped coming. Before she had sat down
To write, the words flowed through her
Mind like a rushing stream, now nothing

She sucks the end of the pen. Say what
You would if you were face to face, her
Mother always said. She tries to imagine
He is there before her and what she would
Say if he was, but still no words will come

He writes to her so fluently when he writes
He always seems to know what to write
And how to put it into words. She tries again
Puts the pen nib onto the paper, gripping
The pen tighter. She reads what she’s written

Dear John. The pen moves, the words begin
To flow, her hand moves across the page
The images come into her mind as she writes
The things that they said last time they met
The things they did, she blushes slightly
That almost being caught out by the maid
In a state of undress. She pauses the pen
And sits gazing at the painting on the wall.

She looks back at the paper and starts again
The words tripping over themselves to be put
Down in ink upon a page; the images open up
In her mind, the colours, the smells, the events

The pen now stops. The love letter is written
The writing done. She looks at the words
Then she seals it in an envelope and writes
His address. She pictures him reading it: in bed
In his room, sleepy, in a state of his usual undress

Prison (Life Poem)

If you feel imprisoned today,
In factory, office, school,
With woman, parent, child,
Just the groundhog day of life.

These words can set you free
From your private prison cell –

You can walk along the shore,
With sand between your toes,
And salt-caked cracking lips.

You can fly a million miles,
With sea below and stars above,
And wind-watered streaming eyes.

You can be your inner self,
With dreams and touch of love,
And razor-sharp passions edge.

Let the inspiration of my words be
Like the rumble of a small earthquake,
Or the flash of lightning thunder,
In the whirlwind of your future.

You can....

The Things Lovers Should Do

Standing in the half light, wondering if you can
There stands the priest of sinners, consolation in his hands
Though he prays he wont need it, he keeps it by his side
Waiting for the face up and the answer in her eyes
All while the musics playing a backdrop serenade
Theres only one point of view
To be doing the things, things that lovers should do
Disco-queens in dancestep, moving face to face
All tangled up in neon dont think its some disgrace
The blue western denim, the east coats razor edge
The european fashion, the leathers and re-threads
All while the musics playing a backdrop serenade
Theres only one point of view
To be doing the things, things that lovers should do
