Life is very different depending on whether you’re promoting, on tour, doing concerts, on holiday or preparing a new project. But yes, you have to be organized and disciplined at all times.

Holiday
Well the super models in those magazines
They've been to places that I've never dreamed
Well they look so nice out on some sandy beach
But for me I've always found it out of reach
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
The hotel and life for me would be alright
We could always catch an early mornin' flight
As you treat yourself like in a movie scene
But its just another place I've never been
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
I call you up on your telephone
And leave a message there since your not home
I've got to go I've got to get away
Please come and take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Last nite I dreamed I was in Sante Fe
And then went on a flight to San Jose
Well I know that you don't really like to fly
But to see the world maybe you'd like to try
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Need a holiday

The economic picture in the States today doesn't allow for jazz concerts in a tour fashion. People now are too used to the Festival, which gives them more names for the same price.

Preparing for the holiday is neither enlightening nor lasting.
Preparing To Fly
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
Im in love all over again
Im head over heels
I cant even begin
To tell you how it feels
She lives on a rock
Surrounded by light
Shes young and shes wild
And shes treating me right
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
I shed some light
I change my address
I havent felt so great
Since I first went west
Ive got brilliant intentions
Unthinkable plans
Ive got sparks and electric shocks
Just exploding from my hands
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream
Im back in the saddle
Im out in the clear
I got no regrets
Ive got nothing to fear
Ive battled my demons
Come out on top
Im gonna love you as hard as I can
Never gonna stop
Im preparing to fly
Under my own steam
Im preparing to fly
Into a dream

Holiday
Sometimes life can knock you down
Just gotta pick your ass up off the ground
Probably don't matter anyway
'Cause in the end it's gonna be ok
Because life's a holiday
Don't wanna go and work harder
Just to keep my head above water
Can't hear what teacher's trying to say
'Cause it makes no sense now anyway
And tomorrow's another day
And I just wanna play
'Cause I know that we'll be ok
'Cause Life's a holiday
I'm sorry
For my, my blasphany
It's just my way
And I'll stay
Because life's a holiday

In Bubblegum
If you need a holiday somewhere in the sun
Let me show you something that is really fun
Take a sparkling holiday somewhere in bubblegum
You can lie down in the shadow of electric silver trees
You can play ferry sinking victim looking water-ski
And if you want excitement ask the poet kids
They all look like charly manson a bit
Take a sparkling holiday.. its such a fun
You might have a quite interesting sightseeing tour
Go to hangover purgatory nightmare shore
See the damned and the dead and the died for love
The commercial gurus, the artist and the stuff
And if you come to lovey church, sit down in second row
You can hear your sister screaming in the room below
And the priest will claim thus they might be sure
A girl can either be a saint or a whore
Take a sparkling holiday...
Come to the old bridge where the jokers juggle with your fears
Give them a penny and theyll show you how to exorcise
And under the bridge the junkies shoot sperm
Its so expensive these days and they substitute the yearning
And if you want to dine, go to loonys inn
They serve sweet, good collapse with trauma and gin
And afterwards you may need a rest
Then Ill tell you pere lachaise is the best
Take a sparkling holiday...

Interpretations and Misinterpretations
there is definitely a God
he leads to a lot
of interpretations
and misinterpretations
depending on who you are
there is a God
he can lead you to war
or peace depending
on how you interprete him
there is a God
he can lead you to hell
or heaven depending on
how you follow him

Freedom Love Coated
I dreamed a dream
a simple soul dream
a poetry site devoted
to freedom love coated
promoting earth care
conservation love care
protecting what remains
earth diversity life veins
promoting love for people
rainbow coloured people
other cultures human rights
sparkling like starry nights
promoting peace not war
let liberty freedom soar
let anti-war peace views
flood media war net news
peace issues seems so desirable
compassion morality justifiable
war remains a crime inadvisable
politics war promoting certifiable

Hooligans Holiday
Drop dead beauties
Stompin up a storm
Lines of hell on our face
Bruised bad apples
Crawling through the night
Busted loose runaway
Always, always
Thrill without a motive
30 days just a haze
(chorus)
Everybody wants a piece of the action
Everybody wants a piece of the pie
Were on a holiday, hooligans holiday
Im on a holiday, hooligans
I gotta get away
Hooligans holiday
Were on a holiday, hooligans
Cross-eyed derelict comin
An iron horse between our legs
Tattoos and black manes flowin
Every days a holidaze
(chorus)
Modern times and new bloods pumpin
Only the strong survive
(chorus)

Liquid Sunshine And Powdered Rain
When we go on holiday
we like to see a bright sun above,
but there are occasions when
we are treated to liquid sunshine and powdered rain.
Sometimes the seasons get mixed up
and summer comes late
and other times winter calls
in the middle of the year.
There are even times when
each season will visit us each day.
However when you are on holiday
you enjoy it without a care.
Early in the morning you get powdered rain
and by mid morning the liquid sunshine calls.
Before the evening falls
you feel the warm rays of the sun.
No one can predict the weather,
we have to take it as it comes.
When you go on holiday
just go out and have some fun.

Holiday
Holiday,
Oh what a lovely day today,
Im so glad they sent me away,
To have a little holiday today, holiday,
Holiday,
And Im just standing on the end of a pier,
Hoping and dreaming you were here,
To share my little holiday,
Lookin in the sky, for a gap in the clouds,
Sometimes I think that sun aint never coming out,
But Id rather be here than in that dirty old town,
I had to leave the city cos it broke me down,
Oh holiday, oh what a lovely day today,
I think Ill get down on my little knees and pray, thank you lord,
Thank heaven for this holiday, holiday,
Im leaving insecurity behind me,
The environmental pressures got me down,
I dont need no sedatives to pull me round,
I dont need no sleeping pills to help me sleep sound,
Oh holiday,
Oh what a lovely day today,
I think Ill get down on my knees and pray,
Thats what Ill do,
Thank heaven for this holiday,
Lying on the beach with my back burned rare,
And the salt gets in my blisters and the sand gets in my hair,
And the seas an open sewer,
But I really couldnt care,
Im breathing through my mouth so I dont have to sniff the air,
Oh holiday,
Oh what a lovely day today,
Im so glad they sent me away,
To have a little holiday.
