The Ape
An Ape is but a trivial beast,
Men count it light and vain;
But I would let them have their thoughts,
To have my Ape again.
To love a beast in any sort
Is no great sign of grace;
But I have loved a flouting Ape's
'Bove any lady's face.
I have known the power of two fair eyes,
In smile or else in glance,
And how (for I a lover was)
They make the spirits dance;
But I would give two hundred smiles
Of them that fairest be,
For one look of my staring Ape
That used to stare on me.
This beast, this Ape, it had a face-
If face it might be styled-
Sometimes it was a staring Ape,
Sometimes a beauteous child-
A Negro flat-a Pagod squat,
Cast in a Chinese mould-
And then it was a Cherub's face
Made of the beaten gold!
But Time, that's meddling, meddling still,
And always altering things-
And what's already at the best
To alteration brings,
That turns the sweetest buds to flowers,
And chops and changes toys,
That breaks up dreams, and parts old friends,
And still commutes our joys-
Has changed away my Ape at last
And in its place conveyed,
Thinking therewith to cheat my sight,
A fresh and blooming maid!
And fair to sight is she-and still
Each day doth sightlier grow,
Upon the ruins of the Ape,
My ancient playfellow!
The tale of Sphinx, and Theban jests
I true in me perceive;
I suffer riddles; death from dark
Enigmas I receive:
Whilst a hid being I pursue,
That lurks in a new shape,
My darling in herself I miss,
And, in my ape, the ape.

Number Of The Beast
The Number of the Beast
(Iron Maiden)
I left alone, my mind was blank
I needed time to think, to get the memories from my mind
What did I see, can I believe
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy
Just what I saw in my old dreams
Were the reflections of my woman staring back at me
'cause in my dreams, it's always there
The evil face that twists my mind and brings me to despair
Six six six, the number of the beast
Hell and fire was spawned to be released
Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
And as they start to cry, their hands held to the sky
And in the night, the fires burning bright
The ritual has begun, Satan's work is done
Six six six, the number of the beast
Sacrifice is going on tonight
I'm coming back, I will return
I will possess your body and I'll make you burn
'cause I have the fire, I have the force
I have the power to make my evil take its course

Rime 34
Love, do you know why your fair mother gave you
These arrows to your hands, and bound your eyes?
That you may shoot the first wound and break
The heart of this or any faithful lover;
And tied the blindfold, so you cannot see
The dreadful cruelty you have inflicted
So that it will not let you suffer pity,
Or even moderate your impious furor.
For, if you saw one of my dreadful wounds,
You would not be a god, but a wild beast,
Or it might make you tender, or less fierce
I would not wish you to come face to face
With the rays of my sun; my wound would seem,
Next to his greatness, small and even light.

Search! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
the mate of beauty
searched for a partner
and found a beast
howling in the forest
she was beautiful
so beauty has no life in her
she wondered if the beast
so powerful could be hers at least.
she mirrored her face
and puzzled went on
what my beauty is to me
if I cant fetch someone strong to fend
The beast was surprised
to win the love of beauty
ugly as its face was
wild were its passions were
beauty was soft and tender
her feelings very delicate and modest
beast was beastly to say the least
all its emotions battled with zest
how could a beauty beast be
or beastly beauty together could be
ridiculed by the irony of the moment
nature prolonged destiny's consent
beauty was enthralled
the fountaining strength of beast she recalled
and amazing vitality and courage she breathed
for her the beast a boosting privilege
beast was honoured
beauty he indulged with decent corners
though he acted for beauty's innocence
still it made no sense for his essence
what drived the maid to crave for his presence.................
in life too young worlds
are crazy and contrary
they search for things
they dont have
passionate about foreign fashions
and imported sperms
or European Wombs
all that is One's own
one fail to rejoice on own..........

The Magic Mirror
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Who’s the fairest fair of all?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Who’s the smartest head of all?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Who’s that girl standing tall?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Who's to hold me when I fall?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Why are you not answering my call?
Oh mirror...
The lines and the scars you do not hide;
My scattered thoughts you would not guide.
Me myself and I; the gap so wide.
Oh mirror; you make me look inside!
You show me a girl against the tide,
By the rules she would not abide.
Within your frame, a caged spirit am I?
By your name, what voice have I?
Oh mirror … can you hear me?
My mirror is deceiving me!
I will show you my smile... will you let me?
A star in my eyes... will you get me?
I will show you a happy face... please let me!
A shelter from myself... please get me!
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Do not show me her face;
I have killed her and left no trace.
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
She shall never stutter;
With a new voice, words she will utter.
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Her fear you shall never show;
Fearless she is to know.
Mirror... mirror on the wall,
Do not point at her scars;
It hurts... not her scars.
Oh mirror...
There is no Santa but tell her not;
Dreams are dreams but wake her not.
She will give in... tell her not to.
She will give up... tell her not to.
Cruel mirror...
Why show me a figure so broken?
Why tell me words unspoken?
My mirror...
Every time I look at you
I miss a line in her face.
Every time I come to you
A part of her I erase.
Every time I need you
I abandon her grace.
So my mirror..
Where is the little fat girl that you used to show me?
Where are the frightened eyes that used to look at me?
Is she still hiding her smile with her hand?
Is she still looking for a magic wand?
You loved her not;
You loved me a lot!
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
What have I done?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Where has she gone?
Mirror … mirror on the wall,
Which way do I run?
Yes mirror...
How I wish I could give you my back
and never look at you again.
How I wish I could leave you on a rack
and never fall for your tricks again.
Oh mirror... Why can’t you lie?
Why don’t you tell me that I am the fairest fair of all?
Why don’t you tell me that I am the smartest head of all?
Why don’t you let me stand proud and tall?
Will you at least be there when I fall?
Oh … Mirror … mirror on the wall …
Why are you not answering my call?

There is No 'there', When One reached There! !
Running after Truth,
went on pilgrimage,
From here to there,
From there to someother
From one place to other,
Madurai to Tirupati,
Arunachalam to Himalayan,
Haridwar to Hrishikesh,
Amarnath to Kedarnath,
Kashi to Mathura
Jeruselem to Kaba!
There to place left on Earth,
which is not holy,
Each place is holy,
Made holy by caring hearts
carrying the Truth!
Everywhere, may be unknown forest,
valley or mountain,
Plateau or desert, shore or ocean,
I saw footprints of men of God,
Air in atmosphere, water in lake and ocean,
All sanctified by his name,
Not only saw the faith in peoples heart,
But also glowing light everywhere,
May be in one or in many,
Many faces of one I saw,
Everywhere it is holy,
May be in crawling earthworm,
May be in worm in gutter,
Or may be in smiling face in a mansion,
Or weeping hungry faces in huts,
May be round bright faces of cute children,
Or may be in eyes of dried skin of hungry skeleton,
I saw the light,
Light of him in their hope and faith!
I saw his face in Sun, or his image in lake,
May be in Lotus or lilly,
May be in hundred storied building,
May be in light of palace
Or hut with oilless lamp,
may be in power of an emperor or in helplessness of a begger,
May be in a child or its toys
Ah! Truth has so many path,
Pathless I became!
Wandering in this woods of dark world,
Where light hides or may be blinding light made me blind,
those look dark, may not be dark,
Those who look bright may not be bright!
When some how reached 'there',
None was there, even I or he,
Light or dark,
In fact no one to say,
this is that or
this is where you intended to reach!
The mystery of mysterious remained a mystery,
But when I looked back the light appeared,
And in that light I found everyone,
The beloved waiting for loved,
The cot on which flowers spread,
Lover waiting for beloved,
Weight of love being,
more than heart can bear
When beloved came,
face of lover became one among flowers,
Nay all flowers shined with love,
Reflected smiling face of Truth,
Love is secret of creation,
More to say every face of life is face of beloved Lord,
The Lord in disguise is life!
There was no 'There' when I reached there,
All was here and now,
and here alone his
faces can be seen,
In father or mother,
Or the child which is in everyone
neither born nor grow old,
Never can die,
We, who have so little time,
are devoted to the One
who has all the time.
We search to find
and be that Timeless One who is all time no
other than the Deathless One
He is that who feel and think,
Who has reasons and reasoning in Him!

Sonnet V: Whilst Youth and Error
Whilst youth and error led my wand'ring mind
And set my thoughts in heedless ways to range,
All unawares a goddes chaste I find,
Diana-like, to work my sudden change.
For her no sooner had my view bewray'd,
But with disdain to see me in that place;
With fairest hand, the sweet unkindest maid
Casts water-cold disdain upon my face.
Which turn'd my sport into a hart's despair,
Which still is chas'd, whilst I have any breath,
By mine own thoughts; set on me by my fair,
My thoughts like hounds, pursue me to my death.
Those that I foster'd of mine own accord,
Are made by her to murder thus their lord.

Face of God
Someone asked; God what if we were to meet face to face?
What face would I see?
Would your eyes be slanted and blue?
Would you have a jewel in the middle of your forehead?
Would your noise be pointed or would it be flat?
Would your lips be thin or would they be full?
God what face would I see?
God answers with these words.
If we were to meet face to face here is what you would see.
Pick up a mirror and the face staring back at you is not only you it is also me.
Beauty & The Beast
Ooooooo
Weaving down a byroad, singing the song
Thats my kind of highroll gone wrong
My-my
Smile at least
You cant say no to the beauty and the beast
Something in the night
Something in the day
Nothing is wrong but darling
Somethings in the way
Theres slaughter in the air
Protest on the wind
Someone else inside me
Someone could get skinned, how?
My-my
Someone fetch a priest
You cant say no to the beauty and the beast
Darling
My-my
You cant say no to the beauty and the beast
(weakling)
My-my
You cant say no to the beauty and the beast
I wanted to believe me
I wanted to be good
I wanted no distractions
Like every good boy should
My-my
Nothing will corrupt us
Nothing will compete
Thank God heaven left us
Standing on our feet
My-my
Beauty and the beast
My-my
Just beauty and the beast
You cant say no to the beauty and the beast
Darling
My-my

Colored Toys
When I bring to you colored toys, my child,
I understand why there is such a play of colors on clouds, on water,
and why flowers are painted in tints
---when I give colored toys to you, my child.
When I sing to make you dance
I truly now why there is music in leaves,
and why waves send their chorus of voices to the heart of the listening earth
---when I sing to make you dance.
When I bring sweet things to your greedy hands
I know why there is honey in the cup of the flowers
and why fruits are secretly filled with sweet juice
---when I bring sweet things to your greedy hands.
When I kiss your face to make you smile, my darling,
I surely understand what pleasure streams from the sky in morning light,
and what delight that is that is which the summer breeze brings to my body
---when I kiss you to make you smile.

The Human Eye
God made the eye-
An extension of brain:
To see the beauty of all things,
He made.
God made the eye-
The mirror of the brain:
To show the mind’s beauty
Within.
God made the eye-
A camera:
To picture Nature’s lively snaps,
For man.
God made the eye-
A receiver:
To gather photic stimuli
For thought.
God made the eye-
Lovely:
To give expression to the face
Of man.
God made the eye-
For sight:
To perceive what the environs
Can give.
God made the eye-
For knowing world of good and bad:
To walk the roads in Heaven’s light,
On earth.
God made the eye-
For seeing light in dark alleys:
To look before one leaps in life
On earth.
God made the eye-
With two fine lids:
To prevent vice
From reaching mind.
God made the eye-
To see and feel:
The Omniscient Lord
Of creation.
God made the eye-
To know His love
And mercy great:
For man and beast.
God made the eye-
To see the light
Of Godliness
On earth’s terrain.
God made the eye-
To choose the road
That leads to Hell
Or to Heaven.

Her Beauty
Her true beauty leaves behind
Apprehensions in my mind
Of more sweetness than all art
Or inventions can impart;
Thoughts too deep to be expressed,
And too strong to be suppressed....
... What pearls, what rubies can
Seem so lovely fair to man,
As her lips whom he doth love
When in sweet discourse they move:
Or her lovelier teeth, the while
She doth bless him with a smile!
Stars indeed fair creatures be;
Yet amongst us where is he
Joys not more the whilst he lies
Sunning in his mistress' eyes.
Than in all the glimmering light
Of a starry winter's night?
Note the beauty of an eye,
And if aught you praise it by
Leave such passion in your mind,
Let my reason's eye be blind.
Mark if ever red or white
Anywhere gave such delight
As when they have taken place
In a worthy woman's face.

Sonnet 27
The look on his little face
That smiles brightly up at me
A world that is a new place
So happy as he could ever be
His fair skin and blue eyes
Those tiny fingers with big smile
Such a delightful surprise
This beautiful fair young child
The arms that hold you so near
Such a bundle of life and joy
Protected from all you fear
Your such a fine wonderful boy
You are the well loved child how true
Forever and always love is you

Face To Face
Love can't be love
If it's just for the moment
Only to pass the night away
As we both get nearer
Deeper love is so much clearer
Long as we do it face to face
And I have known
All the lost lonely people
My world has found a place in your smile
If you're searching for a different love than mine
You'll never stop me loving you
More of your love
More of the warmer ride
May love for everyone be as true
No letting go - but let each other know
If we never try -then we never lie face to face
You make a man like a child with your power
Help me to find my way inside
Let me drink your potion
Let me drown in your emotion
Lover to lover - face to face
In time we learn from the lost lonely people
That love can last as long as time
There was never born another one for me
And you'll never stop me loving you
More of your love
More of the warmer ride
May love for everyone be as true
And loving you mean to me
No letting go but let each other know
If we never try then we never lie
Face to face
I'll be with you when the world is lies and the music dies
Just as long as I know there will be
More of your love
More of the warmer ride
May love for everyone be as true
No letting go but let each other know
If we never try then we never lie
Face to face

The Bloke Who Is Wearing Dark Glasses
The bloke who is wearing dark glasses his eyes from me hidden away
Yet the sun is not even shining it is quite an overcast day
In my direction he keeps staring and that sort of does bother me
Which to say the least feels quite perturbing since his hidden eyes I cannot see
To me he is a complete stranger one that I have not seen before
In my direction he keeps staring as he stands by the Super-store door
If I could see his eyes I'd feel happier I look on a face without eyes
On an overcast day his dark glasses the windows to his soul disguise
I feel uncomfortable in the presence of people wearing dark glasses why this should be I do wonder why
But their right for to wear the dark eyes shades one of them could never deny
But our eyes can tell us more about us than words of us ever can say
They can make you look kind and compassionate or cold hearted in a cold way
An unsmiling face wearing dark glasses from across the street stare at me
I do feel as one in discomfort when a face with hidden eyes I do see.

Quiet RAGE.....
With all the injustice we face in life,
with all the things that can go wrong.
The strength it takes to put a smile on my face.....
so much loss in so many different ways,
sometimes all at once.
The anger builds while I try to stay positive with grace,
more lines continue to show the anger on my face....
Twisted are the things that happen,
no way to explain the beast inside...
All I can do is hide!
Staring Death In The Face
staring death
in the face is
deadly humour
when death comes
to take me asks
if I'm ready to go
I'll stare death in the face
smile give a thumbs up
ask 'what took you so long bro? '

Nonpareil
Let others from the Town retire,
And in the fields seek new delight;
My Phillis does such joys inspire,
No other objects please my sight.
In her alone I find whate'er
Beauties a country landscape grace;
No shade so lovely as her hair,
Nor plain so sweet as is her face.
Lilies and roses there combine,
More beauteous than in flowery field;
Transparent is her skin so fine,
To this each crystal stream must yield.
Her voice more sweet than warbling sound,
Though sung by nightingale or lark;
Her eyes such lustre dart around,
Compared to them the sun is dark.
Both light and vital heat they give,
Cherish'd by them my love takes root;
From her kind looks does life receive,
Grows a fair plant, bears flowers and fruit.
Such fruit I ween did once deceive
The common parent of mankind,
And made transgress our mother Eve,
Poison its core, though fair its rind.
Yet so delicious is its taste,
I cannot from the bait abstain,
But to th' enchanting pleasure haste,
Though I were sure 'twould end in pain.
