I Can Only Blame Myself
I can only blame myself for my lack of success
The I am not good enough on myself I impress
In my mind of self doubt I have planted the seed
With my attitude at anything how can I succeed
And it does seem you are not that different to me
Since the frailties in others in our own selves we see
If you see yourself as not worthy not worthy you will be
It is self defeatist to think negatively
For my lack of success I only have myself to blame
And though to be self defeatist is not a cause for shame
Negativity is the mental rock that keeps dragging one down

The Power of Prayer
Only pray when I'm down
and things are bad
or when I've got no money
or feeling sad.
When I was young
I never prayed at all
too busy enjoying myself
and I was having a ball.
But now I'm much older
life can get pretty rough
but when I was younger
I was carefree and tough.
But how do I pray I asked?
because I hadn't a clue
but I must have done something
because my prayer got through.
So when I'm feeling miserable
and life's getting me down
I just say a simple prayer
and a smile replaces a frown.
But what I need to know is this
when I was young and carefree
if I never ever said a prayer
then someone must have done it for me?

may all the good old people of this world

Usually at the
end of my day.

Answered Prayers
I prayed for riches, and achieved success;
All that I touched turned into gold. Alas!
My cares were greater and my peace was less,
When that wish came to pass.
I prayed for glory, and I heard my name
Sung by sweet children and by hoary men.
But ah! the hurts – the hurts that come with fame.
I was not happy then.

Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives. Unfortunately most of us are completely unaware of this fact and we do not monitor our thoughts with the care needed so that we can create in our lives the results we say we want. An angel prayed for me today
I know this to be true..
She sent a pray into the wind to
Hasten the destination,
For my heart was burden down
