Tomorrow and Tomorrow

The pulling string,
which is Time's tether,
brings
and binds
all things
together
in the contoured galleries of our minds.

Piaf has been dead
these thirty years or more
and yet her voice is bought
and sold in any CD store.

Yesterday and tomorrow,
mingled joy and sorrow,
are raw material for the present mind
to spin its webs and bind.

Only the present acts,
begins and ceases,
holds, releases.
The other tenses
only seem.
They
make a mockery of our present senses
and merely dream
the time away.

Release this present moment from its treadmill,
this trudging on from ‘was' to ‘will'.
Locate the very pinpoint
of the here
and the now.
See the very pinpoint disappear
in a gust of autumn laughter
-leaves falling through bare and empty rafters.

'Oh God, ' said Hamlet,
'I could be bounded in a nutshell
and count myself a king of infinite space,
were it not that I have bad dreams.'

If Lord Hamlet would let go his dreaming,
he would be king indeed!

Blueprint Of Time Is My Life

Every second, minute and hour go,
Even i have so much to say or do,
Every moment is gone forever,
Do i have time or not?

I am running to catch illusions,
I am living the present moment,
Only hours seem like seconds,
Do i have time to catch time and make it mine or not?

Time keeps on running,
In its worldwide cycle,
How could i make it stop?
Do i have to tame the time or not?

Time is an infinite matter,
Never ends and never stops,
I wish i could make time my prisoner,
And live an infinite present moment.

The tracks of time remains,
Even time keeps running,
Blueprint of time is my life,
My past, my memories, my present.

Emergency Exit

I must be present now
before I can have a past;
I must be present now
to create a future then.

If I still my present mind
and exchange present thoughts
for nothing at all,
I have escaped past and future
and achieved a timeless peace
with no yesterday, no tomorrow.

I am
before
Abraham was.

Dimension Merge

For us the past has gone and the present moves on
into the yesterday of a future’s present time.
Despite living in the future’s past this will not last,
present and future will very soon combine.

Future or dimension, to some a misapprehension,
but they are one in the same.
If there’s more than one, they will follow on
to leave one, with it’s present name.

On merging we’ll realise we’ve no future to recognise,
and the past and present is all we’ll know.
The past will still be renewed, with each day used,
but the future will mean only tomorrow.

Autumn

I have let go of time,
I have let days disappear and
As I walk down this pathway of life
For a brief moment
I have become a child again-
Not knowing where to run to or
How to evade misconceptions,
I do know that there are trees
Behind which to hide and even fortresses in the air-
Memories of my childhood, seeing what others did not see,
Being forever slighted and misunderstood,
Memories of my empty heart and these memories I cannot escape.
I often ask myself why these recollections of fear, sadness and mistrust
Have become a branch upon a tree that
Will not break and blow away in a windstorm and
More recent recurrences which others have
Deemed as impressive and worthwhile have
Vanished perhaps high in the sky as
Riding upon a shooting star that has burnt out in the universe-
I have let days disappear although not
Memories of childhood sorrows and rivers of tears-
I am drowning inside a tributary of sadness.
Leaves upon the trees turning rust, yellow and even red in the autumn,
Cool air at dawn caresses my arms within a brief moment of pleasure-
A voice inside of my mind tells me to never let go of present moments, as
The leaves shower upon me in a gust of wind and
This being the most picturesque and enlightening time of the year-
I am learning- never let go of time,
Never let these days disappear.
Childhood moments of abuse, disappointment and unrelenting pain,
Are forever gone and we must grasp onto today and
Perhaps even the future- I know not where to run to although
I shall keep running forward and cease looking behind-
Kicking fallen leaves aside and breathing the crisp autumn air-
As I bury the past within a moment of realization that
The agonizing past moments that we only see inside of our minds
Have ridden that shooting star and are lost someplace in the universe, while
I can see time ahead and in this present moment
Being a colorful aura and worth a lifetime of happiness.
I grasp and hold onto time, while letting all of those tears cried for yesterday
Flow downstream and over stones and to be forgotten as
Earth in a flurry of a storm-

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong

Yesterday I hate things that hurt me
Today I shall change things under my control
Tomorrow I shall do more that I can envisioned

Yesterday I had past my youth era
Today I am wiser than yesterday
Tomorrow I will become a legend because I dare to dream big

Happy are those whom appreciated what yesterday had brought
Happy are those whom plan for things to do today
For tomorrow what might bring us is eternal happiness and peace

Yesterday Time flies so fast without realising we are already dead
Today Wasting our time is wasting our life
Tomorrow Time is valueless and priceless

Let yesterday remind me of the sweet memories of yester years
Let today be my reminder of treasuring our life
For tomorrow may bring uncertainty onto our life

So let us treasure and value our time
Time becomes priceless when we take things for granted
Time becomes meaningless when we face our final moment of our dead

Time becomes tomorrow heaven when we treasure the present moment.

Only Now

Who knows about the future? What ever will we find?
What things are in store by chance or is it grand design?
What can be done today to alter the future course?
Live fully now and let these actions show their force.

Today at work or play know only present time exists.
Real world has little room for past-present-future trysts.
The future you require, joyful or dire, will never arrive.
Future will always be tomorrow as long as you are alive.

So love and live each instant of this and every day.
Be careful that you or the moment never waste away.
Do not condemn yourself to a life of sanguine sorrow
By treating today as if it were yesterday or tomorrow.

Future will be my better present

(1)

Yesterday was surely tomorrow one day
Definitely today will be yesterday tomorrow
One day hopefully tomorrow will be today

(2)

This sorrow and pain will be killed
and pushed into the past tomorrow
this defeat and despair will be vanished
into the future to bring better present

(3)

The past surely was the future of me one day
Definitely the present will be past tomorrow
One day hopefully the future will be my present

Constant Time

Time past and the future give way to this present picture,
But can somebody tell me how to recognize that gate that leads to the bed of roses,
We speak about the future like the past is a grain of sand on the shore,
Washed away by the ocean tide,
Giving way to new grains to make a portrait of the present,
These past memories stay deep in our heart like the depths of the ocean,
Though it gets washed back to shore ones in a blue moon,
Reminding us that our past is a standard measurement of our strength,

Time moves so fast making the past to fade away,
this makes us seem so secured about the present,
Forgetting the fact that our present becomes our past that was once a present from nature as a new day,
Some take the future to be a dream and a wish,
But I take my future to be what I see when I stand from the bottom of the mountain to look at the top,
And my past to be the depth of the ocean that can always be washed ashore …
The only thing I can control is my present,
Yes cos my mind controls my hands to give you a flash of what goes on in my head
Like this words i write to you was once my future and will become my past, making my future my past and my past my future..So ironical isn’t it?

Standing here I sure know 1 thing,
I will reach the top by that foot path,
Yes of course it’s not to mean that I wouldn’t fall,
But I have to break myself off my present past and walk with grace to stand where I belong,
There where I am the king of my destiny,
The past is just going to be a page of memories,
And my future will become my present making time constant in my head,
Because I stand on my past which was once my present and my present which was once my future, making time equal and constant
As I flip thru this page of life,

Where Darkness Prevails

Outside my window- only darkness prevails and inside my bedroom
Shadows flutter about the walls-
Light has evaded every corner, the floors, and the ceiling and I know that
Even though my thoughts, misconstrued inside my own mind and
Yesterday seems as an eternity passed-
I never have been able to perceive what tomorrow may bring-
As I lie here in bleak darkness I hold onto the present moment
As it was a string to a kite
Ready to escape and disappear into the heavens-
Voices I can hear are none but a figment of my imagination and
Shadows have become ghosts that are threats to my existence-
It seemed as if none but a few hours ago- My spirit, lithe and free,
Had much hope for what tomorrow would bring and
Somehow that hope has vanished in the darkness-
Leaving me alone, terrified and trusting none but
The thoughts that run rampant inside of me-
Life is a mystery to me and how
The sun, a rainbow and laughter can turn to
Rain pouring from the darkest clouds in the universe,
And inside of my mind
That feeling of freedom and happiness has transformed to
Mistrust, anger and my grasp onto reality, flagging?
If I could only find a star in this prevailing darkness
That lurks outside my window I could wish upon that star for
Rejuvenation of peace and hope for a future –I would-
But now I hear torrents of rain falling outside that could just as well be
Tears from angel’s fury and betrayal?
The moon is full on this night and inside the world of my reflections
As old tales have declared- if I were to dance outside
Beneath the moon on this night, my sanity would be lost
In a gust of wind and my sprit would be reborn in another world,
Lithe and free as could be- in some other dimension, place and time
There would be a sun that would rise for me alone-
Time has evaded me and I believe I am holding onto that kite’s string
Soaring upward in the sky living for none but the present moment
Ready to escape and disappear into the heavens- where
Darkness has become none but a delusion?

One Must Learn To Love The Present Good Moment

One must learn to love the present good moment
In itself and for itself
As if there were only it and no other-
One must learn to love the present good moment
Without wondering why it will pass
And why all things must –

One must learn to give one’s heart and mind wholly to the present good moment-
And when it is over
Wake from the dream
With joy and gratitude
Despite regretting that the moment is gone.

Easter Saturday

Today is the day after;
after blackness, what?

yesterday, black present filled the mind;
today, not even light on blackness..

a day not on the calendar;
an empty diary entry;

faith smaller than a mustard seed;
hope an untilled field.

This is what a present with
no future feels like;

the mercy only
that there is a present;

among the closest, the rumour
of a promise so ethereal

it has no shape or form
to build into new faith, no hope;

not even waiting, when
there may be nothing for to wait;

a day out of time; wrap around you
the thin silk of love;

be still; surrender everything
and find a peace beyond all promises;

today, there is no tomorrow;
if you have hope, then hope;

if you have prayer, then pray and pray;
perhaps tomorrow’s born today.

Reality Ring

'With this ring
I do thee wed'
the preacher said;

and all I could think of
was how beautiful
the pictures would be

and the stories I would have
for my guy friends.

and those
future memories;

and did not hear
clearly
the call for the ring,

I was not present
in that moment
to feel.

So it was with me and
many of us
being anywhere
but where we are;
any time but present time
any place
but this space.

Always outside our time;

and what is real is only

what can be purchased
bought
or experienced
in the future
or the past.
So I am still guessing
what is real?

Be ever enthused to be in touch with future

Be ever enthused to be in touch with future

Future
Philosophers say
Is an illusion
For each second that is in the coming
Is uncertain
Hazy and a mirage

Past is lost
And it is spilt milk
Nothing can be done
With the past
Each previous second is as past
As the previous century

They suggest
For keeping up with the pace of time
It would be wise
Not to dream of the future
And not to lament on the past
Enjoy the present

It is easier said than done
We keep busy thinking
Either about the future
Or keep grumbling with the past
Memory and acquired experience
Will not allow us
To thoughtfully digest
Events occurring at the present

It is also not debatable
The quality of the present second
Depends on
The quality of the efforts
Made in the previous second

Where we are and
What we are
All because of our
Struggle or otherwise
In the past

Past experience and
Our present standing
Take us where we will be tomorrow

It will not be unwise
To a dream a future
Matching our skills
And the present position

We often dwell in a future
That is not achievable
With our present standing
And our capabilities

Unrealized future
Makes us feel sad

Be ever be in touch future
As the present second only
Manifests itself as a future
Know what you do
Know what you have as means
To take you into
The dreamt future

A colourful future is not an impossible realm
To be scaled
If you take seriously the means
To be there

Your present actions
Are executed only
To be sure that
You are
There in that wonder tomorrow

That dream keeps you
Motivated in going ahead
That dream keeps you
On the path of learning
That dream keeps you
Innovating new solutions
That dream keeps you
Enjoy what you do
That dream keeps you
Enthused in living
That dream keeps you
Looking for opportunities for improvement
Be in touch with dream ever
And

Be ever enthused to be in touch with future
Though philosophically non-existent
Which only helps you realize your potential

Upon The Rock

God’s always with me every day, to help with cares along the way,
He’s ever present, this I know, leading me always in the way to go,
The Ever Present Rock to lean on, ever present and always strong,
An Eternal Rock on which to stand, as He helps me to understand.

As the times that I’m in change, God’s eternal plan stays the same,
While the things around me fall, Christ is still the Lord God over all,
And whatever may be my cast lot, He’s the Lord, who changes not,
While upon the Rock I stood before, I shall also stand forevermore.

When changing times befall us, it’s God in Heaven, in who we trust.
Putting our lives into His Hand, as upon the Eternal Rock we stand,
The present time or coming year, as Believers, we need not to fear,
Never affected by falling stock, we’ve invested in The Eternal Rock.

As challenging as times may be, our goal and focus is still eternity,
We are safe from fear and harms, safe within the Everlasting Arms,
Of the Lord God, up above, who saved us through His Son’s Love,
Now seated in a Heavenly Place, and secured forever by His Grace.

Though this world may fall apart, we have His Spirit within our heart,
Pointing Believers to better things, as we live for The King of kings,
All of our times are in His Hands, in the midst of the shifting sands,
Until our feet are on that shore, of God’s Eternal Land, forevermore.

today as a present from God to me

today
is God's present to me

a cue
from Habib
a present too
he accepts
from God today

we open the present
today
and we see the sun
and a garden
of flowers
and the wind
and the
sea and the mountain
inside it

we marvel

and then the clock strikes
the bio-rhythm
of hunger in our guts

it is breakfast time
and there is
still nothing
to eat on the table

today is just a present
and we still
have a lot of work to do

God Is Moving

Years have passed
Since we affirmed.
God Is Watching.

Now in the present
We are confirming.
God Is Moving.

Looking into the future
We become concerned.
God Is Present.

In our every yesteryear
In our every today
And in our every tomorrow.

God Is Watching
God Is Moving
God Is Present.

The Path Of Time

Whether of present or past
Or future if you please
The time that you portray
Moves only for yourself

Some choose to live in the past
Lost hopes and dreams they share
But time only last
Until they release the burden they bear

Some choose to live in the present
And behold the sights of each day
A balance of decisions for 10 second frames
And everything always seems fair

Some people look towards the future
To see long term effects unfold
However long it takes to get there
They keep persisting towards their goal

I chose to live in the present
Ignore the past and future presence
And live life like I will not see the next day
And still not have to care

But if I provide an example
For past, present, or future
My path is still my own
And moves only for myself

History

Yesterday is History.
History brings us to this present moment
but it doesn't shape who we are at this present moment.
We can't let our History control us
and who we wish to be.

Today is Present

today is present, though you don't mind
the minute, the night, the occasion are
all fine, it is not but a wisdom of time that
you wait to come

like a dropp of tear's frozen in the wisdom
of time, where a birth of a child whisper in the
solitude of memories to be remembered that
you are present today

one has to believe that, today is called the present
time, a gift to be taken and be shared for all,
for it losses its precious meaning, if it ends in it
self; life is to live with others so that other may live

live it today, show the abundance of richness in you
for richness can't buy happiness, today is the day
that you can count all the things that money can't
buy........and today everything will be fine......

Brilliant Mistake

He thought he was the king of america
Where they pour coca cola just like vintage wine
Now I try hard not to become hysterical
But Im not sure if I am laughing or crying
I wish that I could push a button
And talk in the past and not the present tense
And watch this hurtin feeling disappear
Like it was common sense
It was a fine idea at the time
Now its a brilliant mistake
She said that she was working for the abc news
It was as much of the alphabet as she knew how to use
Her perfume was unspeakable
It lingered in the air
Like her artificial laughter
Her mementos of affairs
Oh I said I see you know him
Isnt that very fortunate for you
And she showed me his calling card
He came third or fourth and there were more than one or two
He was a fine idea at the time
Now hes a brilliant mistake
He thought he was the king of america
But it was just a boulevard of broken dreams
A trick they do with mirrors and with chemicals
The words of love in whispers
And the axe of love in screams
I wish that I could push a button
And talk in the past and not the present tense
And watch this lovin feeling disappear
Like it was common sense
I was a fine idea at the time
Now Im a brilliant mistake
