I Wish I'd Said No

By playing a round he was a billionaire,
His adoring public would stop and stare,
Now he's cheated he can hear them all say,
For what you've done there'll be a large price to pay.

You'll be driven to insanity when you realise,
To your wife and family you've brought tears to their eyes,
The man they all loved who just couldn't be beat,
Is not who they thought he's turned into a cheat.

Because of your lust, your life is in tatters,
You took the risk now you've lost all that matters.
To anyone out there who thinks cheating's a game,
Adultery will bring you nothing but shame.

If tempted be aware of the consequences,
There'll be nowhere to hide or sitting on fences,
It's when not if you finally get caught,
You'll be wishing there were other pleasures you'd sought.

It will affect your performance in more ways than one,
For a life without loved ones is not much fun,
The problem with cheats is they don't ever learn,
A bad reputation is the reward that you earn.

Your life as you know it will then disappear,
You'll be left with nothing but a feeling of fear,
You will ask yourself questions, was it worth it and why,
The answers will make you want to curl up and die.

For the rest of your life the pain will be there,
You'll be left on your own feeling total despair,
The memories will haunt you wherever you go,
That's when you'll think,

In This Life You Reap What You Sow

If you're thinking of having an illicit affair,
You need to stop and ask yourself why,
The fact is you need to be fully aware,
It will haunt you till the day you die.

So before you think it's only a fling,
Please take time out to reflect,
Think of the misery adultery can bring,
It will have a devastating effect.

Does your husband or wife really deserve,
To be treated in this treacherous way,
Or like most will you keep them in reserve,
For when the lover goes on their merry way.

Then there's the children who look up to you,
They will grieve but they won't understand,
Why the parent they loved just said adieu,
They will know you've been so underhand.

Their lives will never be the same,
Your actions will make them want to hide,
They will feel betrayed and ashamed of their name,
All for what, a bit on the side.

Then you have your relatives and friends,
When you meet you will know by their tone,
That this is the time their kinship ends,
It is you they will all now disown.

Do you hate them that much that you would cheat,
With someone you don't really know,
With you partner and children no one can compete,
Stay faithful and your stature will grow.

Loyalty and love just cannot be bought,
Why risk it for the sake of a fling,
You can guarantee that when you get caught,
Total misery is all it will bring.

Your partners not daft or incredibly blind,
They will notice your change in demeanour,
That is when you'll undoubtedly find,
The grass over there isn't greener.

The majority of affairs do break down,
That's when you will find yourself crack,
Everything you do will bring on a frown,
Then you'll find there is no going back.

Everything in life you once held dear,
Will be gone it will all have been taken,
There'll be nothing left but the feeling of fear,
You'll have lost everything you have forsaken.

This is not all you will stand to lose,
You'll have no more self dignity or trust,
That's the price you pay when you abuse,
All to feed what is nothing but lust.

As their lives move on you'll be left in a rut,
With nothing left in reserve,
That feeling will make you sick to your gut,
But you'll acknowledge it's what you deserve.

That fling you had is now in the past,
Your spouse has now found someone new,
Your infidelity has left you feeling harassed,
With cheating it's a fact chaos will ensue.

That's when you will look in the mirror and see,
A person whom you don't want to know,
When reality kicks in you'll be forced to agree,

In My Life

Written by ricky & kim wilde
Look for the strength you know you can feel
Search for the truth you know that is real
Then reach for the place you know they cant steal
And say, Im feeling good with my life
No point in letting life bring you down
Theres always something bad hangin round
Face up to trouble and stare it out
I know Im feeling good with my life
In my life - everything is feeling good
In my life - feeling like you know it should
In my life - cant you see its understood
Im feeling good with my life
No better place to start than with you
Get your head together then follow through
Its not what youre saying its what you do
I know Im feeling good with my life
Dont fantasize how your life could be
Make all your dreams a reality
Then there is nothing can bring you down
I know Im feeling good with my life
In my life - everything is feeling good
In my life - feeling like you know it should
In my life - cant you see its understood
Im feeling good with my life
Weve got to make it living together
Learning to share our lives
Weve got to speak from the heart
Find a new way to start
Thats something weve all got to realise
In my life

Keep It Pure In the Giving

It is not enough,
To keep me loved!
We all have questions,
Deep in doubt.
And saddled at times,
With a faith left behind...
To find a comfort in despair.

I don't want to be heartbroken,
And alone there.

Keep me loved!
And free to live my life,
Without fear.
I want it here to be near it.

Let me choose to not abuse this feeling.
Let me recognize it with a wish persisted.

It is not enough,
To keep me loved!
We all have questions,
Deep in doubt.
And saddled at times,
With a faith left behind...
To find a comfort in despair.

I don't want to be heartbroken,
And alone there.

Keep me loved.
Keep it pure in the giving.
Allowing me to have enough of it...
To send and receive more!
Keep me loved!

Run, Run, Run

I was sitting in the field, feeling the grass.
Counting the stars as they come out.
Feeling (feeling) the breeze, (feeling the breeze)
Feeling (feeling) the spring. (feeling the spring)
Suddenly I noticed there wasnt light anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run to the light,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
I tumbled on roots, stumbled on stones.
Lost my marbles, stepped on my glasses.
Feeling (feeling) the air, (feeling the air)
Feeling (feeling) the wind. (feeling the wind)
Suddenly I noticed it wasnt fun anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run towards the light,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
I came out of the darkness into the house,
The lights were left on but nobody around.
Feeling (feeling) the room, (feeling the room)
Feeling (feeling) the space. (feeling the space)
Suddenly I noticed it wasnt spring anymore.
Run, run, run, run, run through your life,
Run, run, run, run, run for your life.
(run, run, run, run, run through your life)
(run, run, run, run, run for your life)

You Know The Liar Is You ‘

Lying is a human trait,
Some use them to hide the truth,
Small or large some cannot wait,
Despite it being so uncouth.

They'll lie to cover up mistakes,
They don't want others to know,
Lost info or a vase that breaks,
Problem is that lie will grow.

Some lie to enhance who they are,
Sometimes just to impress,
The next lie becomes even more bizarre,
The truth they must then compress.

If you forget that first white lie,
That's when mistakes will fester,
Soon you'll wish that you could die,
You'll be feeling like a jester.

Your memory must be really strong,
To keep all your lies intact,
If you forget you'll get it wrong,
That is a proven fact.

That one lie soon will change,
For the truth you'll have to smother,
Untruths you'll have to rearrange,
For one lie compounds another.

The money that you didn't steal,
That window you never broke,
Just think of how your victims feel,
When their ire you evoke.

That broken vase you lied about,
Your version soon gets lost,
Your honesty everyone will doubt,
You've deceived but at what cost,

A lie is like a smouldering ember,
You must keep it in your sights,
For come the time you can't remember,
That's when it ignites.

Those lies then become a fountain,
They're cascading everywhere,
That molehill's turned into a mountain,
That's a truth you'll find hard to bear.

Lies to you are all that matters,
Though they leave you feeling fraught,
Your reputation will be in tatters,
When not if you finally get caught.

When you look at your own reflection,
You will feel a sense of fear,
Your affair is nearing detection,
The time for truth is drawing near.

Before you know it things are out of control,
All your lies you've now forgotten,
You'll have dug yourself into a hole,
My God you'll now feel rotten.

You can fool people some of the time,
But you'll never fool them all,
Your reputation is what you begrime,
On your lies you will finally fall.

The problem with your lying deeds,
Is I can say without any doubt,
It's your false ego that it feeds,
That's until you are found out.

Remember those facts you try to disguise,
You're aware they're all untrue,
Ultimately they'll lead to your demise,

Im Not Worth The Tears

Mama didnt always have those tears in her eyes
And daddy once was able to hold his head up high
But now I brought disgrace to my whole family
Now they cry, but Im not worth
The tears they cry for me
I loved a boy and then I found that he just lead me on
So in my hurt and bitterness
I let myself go alone
But all I did was hurt myself
And shame my family
And now they cry but Im not worth
The tears they cry for me
No Im not worth
The salt in one tiny tear
Oh why have I brought shame
To the one I loved so dear
Im so sorry that I hurt them
But theyll never know how sorry
And now they cry but Im not worth
The tears they cry for me
Yes now they cry, but Im not worth
The tears they cry for me

The Cheaters

Once you’ve cheated it’s hard to stop
Because it makes you feel like you’re on top.
You didn’t think about getting caught
Because it wasn’t something that you had sought.

So you continued your sinful ways
And with the hearts you did play.
Then the tables were turned on you
And you didn’t know what to do.

Cheating like everything else, is a game for two
You control it, or it controls you.
When a man does it, he is called a cheater
When a woman does it, she is looked down upon
And the talk lingers on.

He turned around and said:
“ how can you do this to me? ”
I have given you all my love
And I put you on a pedestal high above.

she responded with a smile on her face.
Just look in the mirror and you will see
That you spread your love with not only me.
You cheated, and I did the same
But you did it first so who is to blame?

Cheating is not a game that you want to play
People get hurt and then you pay.

To My Wives

You may believe, my ladies dear,
I took away your sun,
To cloak you in my darkness
While our time was left to run;
You may believe I took your youth
And brought you to despair,
But that was not my purpose;
It was life that took us there.

The old recriminations
That have saddened all my years,
As each and every one of you
Went off, in search of tears,
The old recriminations, using
Truths I can’t retract,
Come back to haunt me, every one:
‘Was I as bad as that? ’

The life that is behind us now
Is locked in some old hearse,
You’ve moved along, and like the song
You sing another verse,
But I sit in the dark, and hear
Each word you brought undone,
And swear before the living God:
‘I loved you, every one! ’

Questions

It's everything we do while we're here
A fear or a thought, a feeling or a dream
Touch it and taste it, breathe it all in
Say what you feel, things aren't what they seem
Why live, why breathe,
Why breed, why die?
These questions all tied up inside
It's all or nothing or what you make it
A prize or a secret, Which path do you take
Decisions and gambles, a goal to be scored
Risks and lies We all make mistakes
Why live, why breathe,
Why breed, why die?
These questions all tied up inside
Thoughts without pictures
Looks without seeing
Words without reason
Touch without feeling
Life is your reward
Not to be ignored
Why ask the questions when there's no answer?
Why play the game when there's no way to win?
Why ask the questions when there's no answers?
Why seek the truth when the truth is within

The Worst Day Of My Life

My Heart Has Now Shattered
I Should Feel Angered
Watching You Walk Down The Aisle With Her
Is It Because She's Brighter?
I Try So Hard To Hide This Feeling Inside
The Feeling I Died
The Feeling That I Should Be The One Marrying You
You Said That Your Feeling For Her Were True
Is It Because She's More Beautiful Than I?
Please Just Tell Me Why
She'll Never Know You The Same Way I Do
Don't Even Try To Argue
We Both Know Who's Right
I Know This Is Supposed To Be The Best Day Of Your Life
The Day She Became Your Wife
But With All Respect
I Must Say I Object
She Doesn't Love You
Not The Way That I Do
The Day That You And Her Became One
The Day That I Lost And She Had Won
The Day That She Gained Your Last Name
The Day I Lost What Made Me Tame
I Lost You
I Can't Say That This Feeling Is New
For I Have Lost Everything That I Ever Called Mine
No, I'm Not Fine
Not That You Should Care
Life's Not Fair
Especially Because Everything That I Have Ever Lost...
It Was All Because Of Her
The Cheater
The Day She Became Your Wife
Will Forever Be The Worst Day Of My Life

That's The Real Price Of Lust

What's this obsession,
I want more from this life,
It gives me depression,
Then fills me with strife.

We've a life of pleasure,
Our lives are for living,
I have found my life's treasure,
But I have this misgiving.

My wife is my rock,
There's my wonderful kids,
So I need to take stock,
Or my life hits the skids.

We've a beautiful home,
What more could I want,
If I decide to roam,
Will it come back to haunt?

I've a life of bliss,
It is full of love,
So what is it I miss,
Does it come from above?

I don't need money,
There are two fancy cars,
My life is sunny,
My head's in the stars.

I don't really know,
What it is that I seek,
But it's bringing me woe,
It is making me weak.

I love all I've got,
But my life is a chore,
So to stop the rot,
I've got to have more.

What is this feeling,
That's driving me on,
It's sending me reeling,
How I wish it were gone.

Just what is it I want,
What will I find,
Will it come back to haunt,
Or cure my mind?

Am I really that sad,
Seeking what's out of sight,
Don't tell me I'm mad,
For I know I am right.

I'll do it one time,
Then won't ever again,
I'ts a victimless crime,
It won't drive me insane.

I've committed the deed,
Now I ask myself why,
Was there really a need,
Now I just want to die.

Now I've done it I'll perish,
For life is too short,
What you love you must cherish,
Or your mind will distort.

Just then I found out,
Why's it's taken so long,
I'm an adulterous lout,
I know now I've done wrong.

By greed I was driven,
For a bit on the side,
I will not be forgiven,
There is nowhere to hide.

There's nobody wants me,
I've no family or friends,
what really haunts me,
Is my pain never ends.

I think of those I've betrayed,
All those I held dear
Solely because I have strayed,
They are no longer here.

I am out on the street,
Living all on my own,
My demise is complete
They won't let me atone.

Treasure all you have now,
For it cannot be bought,
Remember that vow,
To love what you've got.

If you desire another,
just stop and ponder,
Those cravings can smother,
Your feelings will wander.

It's yourself you'll abhor,
You will know you were wrong,
Why, what for,
When it was there all along.

But now it's too late,
You cannot adjust,
You're a figure of hate,

‘' That's The Real Price Of Lust ‘'

A reason to be held

I'm tired of being alone
Tired of the racism
Tired of being the center of every joke
Why
Why, because I'm not the same as you
I'm not the same and I'm faulted for it every day

I'll never be right because no one knows
For I never speak
I just want to cry sometimes
I want to cry like a child
I want to crawl into a little space and cry
Cry because I'm all alone
Why can't I be loved
My mother she left me without looking back
My family there is no family
Just memories that stand for nothing

I just want to be loved
I want to be loved the same as everyone else
But it will never happen
It will never happen because no one knows
No one knows how I feel

No one really knows
No one knows how it feels
I want to be loved
Because the feeling
The feeling under my ribs
That feeling is from not being loved

I want you to love me
I want you to love me as your own
I want to be held
Because everyone deserves to be held

Somewhere...Somehow...I Lost It

I have suddenly realized I have lost it.
I have lost the joy that was in my life.
When did that happen?

I don't know the exact day...however
as near as I can figure out, it happened
slowly. Ever so slowly...almost unperceptively.

Of course the joy in ones life manifests itself
through that in life that one loves. And so...
mine...my joy, slowly left...as those I love were
no longer in my life. Some of it left, when I
moved...and left behind the drooping willows that
fronted the house I no longer have. The house
where so many beautiful memories were born.

Lots of it left...when the friends of a lifetime
were house in places I no longer went to. It left when
I stopped the ritual of fine dining in places where I
was known by name. It left with scores of doormen,
and servers that I had grow found of.

Most of it...most of my joy, left with family...when came
the day when holidays and other celebrations no longer
was a part of my life.

I miss the joy in my life. I miss all the loved ones
that I shall never see again. Some dead...some
scattered like leaves in the wind, to the far
corners of the earth.

As I grow older, faded memories of joy become less
vivid. Until...a day like today...when something
..or someone reminds me...
Of Lost Joy...And Fading Memories.

was known by name.

Of Lost Joy...And Fading Memories

I have suddenly realized I have lost it.
I have lost the joy that was in my life.
When did that happen?

I don't know the exact day...however
as near as I can figure out, it happened
slowly. Ever so slowly...almost imperceptibly

As I grow older, faded memories of joy become less
vivid. Until...a day like today...when something
.or someone reminds me...
Of Lost Joy...And Fading Memories
