Corruption Reigns Supreme
Politicians and union chiefs,
Are really so alike,
High salaries and pension schemes,
They never go on strike.
They're rewarded when they make a mess,
The same applies when they fail,
Whereas we'd be sacked immediately,
Then thrown into jail.
Their policies are much the same,
In Immorality they are entwined,
They want the plebs under their thumb,
In corruption they are enshrined.
They're paid for by the working class,
They always get their way,
Yet when it comes to all their perks,
We do not have a say.
When we hit recession,
For us redundancy will lurk,
While they retain their earnings,
They forever remain in work.
Take the miners leader,
He was pretty deft,
He's the leader of a union,
Where there are no miners left.
Trade unions and the government,
Have an affiliation,
You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours,
It's a truly sick creation.
You often find that union chiefs,
End up as politicians,
The job is very much the same,
Dictating our conditions.
If they were truly competent people,
With problems we would not be beset,
But throughout the world these wasters,
Have saddled us with massive debt.
They must be forced to recognise,
That we've all had enough,
If they had to live as we do,
They would find it really tough.
The workers of the modern world,
Really need to unite,
Strip these people of all their power,
Then push them out of sight.
Maybe then we could rid ourselves,
Of our lowly self esteem,
But the problem is we're far too weak,
That's Why,
'' Corruption Reigns Supreme ''

Money Corruption / I Am Your Man
(sung by chorus)
We are sick and tired
Of being promised this and that.
We work all day, we sweat and slave
To keep the wealthy fat.
They fill our heads with promises
And bamboozle us with facts,
Then they put on false sincerity
Then they laugh behind our backs.
1st chorus
Money and corruption
Are ruining the land
Crooked politicians
Betray the working man,
Pocketing the profits
And treating us like sheep,
And were tired of hearing promises
That we know theyll never keep.
Money and corruption
(etc. repeat 1st chorus above)
Promises, promises, all we get are promises.
Show us a man wholl understand us, guide us and lead us.
We are sick and tired
Of having to ask them cap in hand
We crawl on the floor
We beg for more,
But still we are ignored.
Were tired of being herded
Like a mindless flock of sheep
And were tired of hearing promises
That we know theyll never keep.
1st chorus
Money and corruption
Are ruining the land
Crooked politicians
Betray the working man,
Pocketing the profits
And treating us like sheep,
And were tired of hearing promises
We know theyll never keep.
Weve got to stand together
Every woman, every man,
Because money and corruption are ruining the land.
Show us a man wholl be our saviour and will lead us.
Show us a man wholl understand us, guide us and lead us.
Show us a man.
Workers of the nation unite.
Workers of the nation unite.
(mr. black sings)
I visualise a day when people will be free
And well be living in a new society.
No class distinction, no slums or poverty
I have a vision of a new society.
And every home will have a stereo and tv,
A deep freeze, quadrasonic and a washing machine.
So workers of the nation unite.
I am your man
Ill work out a five-year plan
So vote for me brothers
And I will save this land
And we will nationalise the wealthy companies
And all the directors will be answerable to me,
Therell be no shirking of responsibilities
So people of the nation unite.
Union man Ill work with you hand in hand
For were all brothers to our union man.
I am your man,
Oh God how I love this land,
So join together save the fatherland.
I visualize a day when people will be free
And well be living in a new society.
No class distinction, no slums or poverty,
So workers of the nation unite,
Workers of the nation unite,
People of the nation unite.

John Howard In Retirement
John Howard in retirement he lives the good life
With Janette one can say his devoted wife
His term as Australian Prime Minister by the voters was brought to an end
But with fame and money he won't go short of a friend
Howard's Government policies did not unite but divide
Their Work Choices did get the Trade Unions offside
But the Government defeated and their Work Choices with them gone
A win for the Workers and the Unions live on
Kevin Ruud who dethroned him may well celebrate
But on him there too is an unseen use by date
By the Australian voters as Prime Minister empowered
But will his fate be that any different to Howard?
The one who divided and could not unite
He failed when he took on the Trade Union's might.

The Anna Hazare Phenomenon (India's Anti-corruption Struggle)
A man in his mid-seventies
A freedom fighter veteran
Fights against a mammoth vice
’Tis Anti corruption!
Alone he fights and defies
The Government for his fast;
He can’t have his ways with ease
Nation watches aghast!
Freedom for a freed nation!
That’s what most people want;
Gone too high has corruption;
People join with a chant.
Democracy does not work,
Riddled by problems great;
Voters turn almost berserk;
Politicians, they hate.
Why give mandate for corrupt?
Let people introspect;
Struggles should not peace disrupt,
The law, we must respect.
The old man will not give up fast;
The bill must involve all;
People unite more than in past;
It is a clarion call.
Yet, no one is above law;
The issue is too big;
No law made is without flaw;
‘A wig remains a wig! ’
One can’t stall the Parliament;
Democracy must win;
A large nation’s one big lament
‘Just root out corruption! ’
The problem is so colossal;
The government’s in a fix;
All expect a miracle,
That needs a magic mix.
Quick victory is not in sight;
The menace must be curbed;
It requires the people’s might;
No use being perturbed.
People from all walks of life
Join Anna Hazare;
Corruption is big a strife;
Vijay ho, hamare!

Extremely Left
Some would see me as a left extremist, but I'm not, I understand economics very well, I understand why our system isn't functioning correctly. I have no degree to state this but it doesn't make me any less wrong. I have read though enough articles and documents how this or that would fix our system. It is the monetary system itself that is part of the problem, it is the governance of that system that is part of the problem, it is the way our money is both created and distributed that is the problem. They're too many facts pointing all in one direction to ignore. We must open our eyes and see behind the smooth talkers, manipulating anything and everything for there own benefit before it is too late. I don't hate government. I don't hate small business. I'm not an anarchist. I believe they have there place. But I also believe when corruption is in the open and no one cares we have a problem.
Some might think I'm off my rocker, but how do you get trillions of dollars in debt? Where does this debt come from? I recently saw a chart 1/3 of it came from bush era tax cuts for the rich. I heard someone say the corruption is now in the form of consolidation of what little wealth we have left. While that maybe true, I still believe that is in preparation for the second collapse. Or the first one that never really happen. Depending on your perspective. A soften fall by printing money that doesn't exist that's written upon government debt. Be confident people it won't hurt if you keep spending. But what your continuously spending is really doing is perpetuating the cycle of corruption. Providing more money to corporations they can use to influence our government more. Another words the debt was created to give corporation more power. I would say boycott everything if I thought that was possible. I would say lets have modern Boston tea party if I thought we could get away with it. But that method I believe is useless. The only ones I think can stop it are the politicians. Will they though? I doubt it. I have a voice as you do and we must keep speaking. And that is right now my number one objective. Will it solve anything? I don't know, but I must try. So I can say I was not one of those good people who did nothing.

So Hard To Find
There are a few honest politicians so honest and faithful and kind
But they are such a small minority honest politicians are so hard to find
They would do almost anything for to hold on to power as power in their lives is their central theme
They put power in their lives before principle or at least that is how it does seem,
There are a few honest politicians though their type are becoming quite rare
And shady deals are concocted in high places in the bigger World out there
So much corruption in high places where success can come through deceit
Far decenter than them poor and homeless and living it rough on the street
To most politicians to lie is so easy and one lie leads to another they say
And they are referred to as 'the honorable' yet they tell more lies every day
They are tainted by their lust for power to power they so desperately cling
Yet many see them as quite special and many their praises do sing
And many out there are so gullible and to the faults of the power wielders quite blind
And 'tis sad that honest politicians are becoming much harder to find.

Leaves On The Line
Britain's debt hits a trillion pounds,
What we owe is rising fast,
The response from Cameron really astounds,
Everything's the fault of the past.
Youth unemployment hits a record high,
To the chancellors eternal shame,
His excuses would make a grown man cry
He claims their policies are not to blame.
Billions of pounds of new spyplanes are binned,
Aircraft carriers without one plane,
Our armed forces are being skinned,
Having no defence is utterly insane.
Utility bills are out of control,
As people are dying from the cold,
Culling the weak is this government's goal,
Be worried if you're disabled or old.
Inflation is over four per cent,
Another government pledge is broken,
But still the chancellor won't repent,
That statistic will remain unspoken.
The previous government caused it all,
They're responsible for all this fuss,
If you've got a problem give them a call,
It's got nothing to do with us.
It was all down to the winter snow,
Because it was so severe,
To the shops the nation couldn't go,
The weather had them living in fear.
Unemployment levels hit their highest for years,
Government policies didn't cause this mess,
It was the royal wedding that brought us to tears,
It's that which caused all our stress.
Our economy is now falling apart,
We've now entered another recession,
From their disastrous policies they will not depart,
They're giving us all depression.
Now it's the fault of the Eurozone,
Our austerity was caused by them,
If in doubt give them a phone,
As an excuse it's another gem.
All politicians are so alike,
They love to take but never give,
An honest one's similar to a lightning strike,
You'll never see one as long as you live.
We've heard their excuses every one,
Like their policies they're all in decline,
Our worry is that they have only begun,
What next,
‘' Leaves On The Line ‘'
In Heaven Capitalism Doesn't Exist
America, the capitalist's prodigy,
Their debts multiplying every day,
It proves that capitalism doesn't work,
Eventually someone has to pay.
Four billion pounds debt every 24 hours,
To reduce it they're not even trying,
Politicians not caring leaves a taste that sours,
Fact is we know they're all lying.
The Eurozone is in crisis now,
Great Britain is in a mess,
While our politicians don't lose out,
We're left with all the stress.
Britain now owes over a Trillion pounds,
Despite all the governments cuts,
The Grim Reaper is now doing his rounds,
We're doomed, no ifs or buts.
What happened to being accountable?
Our politicians just never learn,
They tell us, don't spend what you don't have,
Live only on what you earn.
They then go and do the opposite,
How stupid can these bastards get,
While they're living the life of Riley,
We're left to pay their debt.
The workers are forced to bail them out,
But these scumbags have got it cracked,
While we all lose our jobs and homes,
None of them are sacked.
They ruin their countries whilst in power,
Which proves they haven't got a clue,
They then just up and walk away,
While we're left to see it through.
They then come out with their bullshit books,
The contents would make you wince,
They all claim it wasn't their fault,
But we know they're talking mince.
Why do we reward them for failure,
It's in prison they should be confined,
The ordinary guy would be sacked on the spot,
But these deadbeats are wined and dined.
Capitalism is a fantasy ideal,
Corruption and greed it compounds,
Manipulated by greedy bastards,
Why we tolerate it is what confounds.
The only consolation is,
They're so obsessed with wealth,
They forget all their wining and dining,
Is detrimental to their health.
So when they reached the pearly gates,
There stood a white robed sentry,
Who told them all, sorry mates,
For your sins there'll be no entry.
What do you mean, they all shout out,
We can buy anything we want,
I'm sorry but money means nothing here,
You have nothing left to flaunt.
When you lived in your Earthly home,
You just loved to kiss and tell,
For all your greed and corruption,
You're now heading straight for Hell.
The one who dies rich dies disgraced,
So I'm afraid that's the point you've missed,
You can't buy your way into Paradise,
‘' In Heaven, Capitalism Doesn't Exist ‘'
Lines On The Australian Dock Dispute (98)
My sympathy is not with the sacked Australian wharfies
Compared to most others they are overpaid
The old tired fight the bosses versus the workers
On the Australian docks is once again replayed.
And my sympathy is not with Chris Corrigan of Patrick Stevedores
He sacked one thousand four hundred of his men
Because they all were members of a Trade Union
Is union membership nowadays a sin? .
But least of all my sympathies are not with the Australian Government
They only seek to conquer and divide
They are the greatest culprits in this conflict
But soon their fate the people will decide.
I can feel sympathy for farmers and exporters and importers
They are between a rock and a hard place
This power struggle is going to cost them millions
This dock dispute an Australian disgrace.
But for the farm leaders I don't have any sympathy
For siding with the Government against the M.U.A.
They should have known that those who take sides in disputes
Win or lose will have some price to pay.
Perhaps the wharfies should have accepted their substantial redundancies
Although 'twould seem that they've not been treated fair
But my sympahies are with the lower paid workers
And the forgotten people on welfare.
And as for the Government elected by the people
For taking sides in disputes they were not empowered
And history will not look on them too kindly
Especially those two Reith and Johnny Howard.
On the WIK issue the Government had shown their true colours
They only seek to conquer and divide
But they were not elected for to be divisive
And the Australian people on their fate will soon decide.
And since the wharfies by the Federal Court are re-instated
Their jubilation with them I can't share
I see them as the privileged class of workers
And my sympathies will always be elsewhere.
Millions of dollars have been squandered on court battles
Between Patrick Stevedores and the M.U.A.
And poor Australia is the biggest loser
And barristers and judges getting wealthier by the day.
The likes of St Vincent De Paul and the Salvation Army
With the squandered millions could do quite a lot
They could help out the less privileged and needy
The people by this government forgot.

Nobody Gives
Sung by the tramp
I cant understand why everybodys quarreling,
Nobody gives in case they lose face,
And everybodys guilty and everybodys innocent,
And the fact of it is nobody gives any more.
Its the same throughout all history,
Nobody gives unless they receive,
And nobody trusts or is willing to believe
And nobody gives or is willing to concede.
Back in nineteen hundred and twenty-five
There were thousands of people struggling to survive.
There was hunger, unemployment and poverty,
Then in 1926 they decided to be free
So they all went on strike and
The workers told the unions, who blamed it on the government,
The politicians blamed it on the strikers and the militants,
Everybodys guilty and everybodys innocent,
But the fact of it is nobody gives any more.
Back in nineteen hundred and thirty-nine
There were scores of german military waiting in a line,
And the fatherland wanted what the world wouldnt give,
And then hitler decided he could take what was his,
So they all went to war and said
Kill all the left-wing intellectuals,
Annihilate the jews and wipe out their race,
Eliminate the weak because theyre ineffectual,
And the fact of it is nobody gives any more.
Im only sitting here watching it all go on
And listening to both sides.
Yeah, why cant we talk it out,
Why cant we sort it out,
Well work it out if we try.
Why cant we sit down and work out a compromise,
Why not negotiate and try to be civilised?
Ill tell you why, because nobody gives a damn.
Nobody listens and no one will understand.
Yet Im wondering, sitting here wondering,
And listening to both sides.
Why cant we work it out?
Why cant we sort it out?
Well work it out if we try.
Why cant we sit down and work out a compromise,
Why not negotiate and try to be civilised?
Ill tell you why, because nobody gives a damn.
Nobody listens and no one will understand.
Yet, Im wondering, sitting here wondering,
Yet Im wondering, sitting here wondering
Listening to both sides.
Nobody gives, nobody gives, nobody gives.
The workers told the unions who blamed it on the government,
The politicians blamed it on the strikers and the militants,
Everybodys guilty and everybodys innocent.
Nobody gives. nobody gives a damn any more.
The politicians, unions, workers and the militants,
The fact of it is nobody gives any more.

Pontius Pilate came to our town
Up to the dockyards to see the picket line
We asked him to help but he just turned around
He's the leader of the union now
Leader of the union
All of our questions he ignored
He washed his hands and he dreamed of his reward
A seat in the House of Lords

Rearrange my mind

Space In The Workplace
i gave up my space in the workplace.
economic struggles and despair
are being seen everywhere.
retirement used to be somthing seen
and with this economy it's just a dream.
you work hard all your life
and go through the struggles and strife.
just to see your dreams shattered
and to the politicians it does'nt matter.
they've already lined their pockets
with corruption and graft
and thought forever it would last
and now that will be part of the past.
there is a new sheriff in town
and he won't let his guard down
he has seen enough from people he met
and now he is out to get
all those who have accepted bribes and kickbacks
and he won't ease up the slack.
this space in the workplace that we have lost.
to the politicians will be an expensive loss.
now that the people have gotten up and spoken
this chain of corruption will be broken.
so to these politicians i say 'beware'
you better run and hide in fear.
the economy will get better, this i know
but! it will be going very slow.
so till then we'll have to tighten the belt
for this is something we all have felt.

Too Young To Die
Written by jay kay and toby smith
Everybody, dont want no war, cos were all too young to die
Many people, all around the world now, seen their brothers fry?
Whats the motive?
In your madness youve made my people cry
So politicians, this time keep your distance
Cos were too young to die
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die.
Whats the answer? to our problems.
I think weve gone to high,
Little children never said a word now, but still they have to die
It wont be long, dancing like we do now,
To put this sad world right
So you dont worry, suffer no more,
Cos were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die.
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die,
You know were too young to die.
All gone when they drop the bomb.
Can politicians reassure? cos here I am pressuming that nobody here wants a war.
Theres so many people praying just to find out if theyre staying.
But lately, stately governments and disillusioned leader,
So full of empty promises but rarely do they feed us,
Put our backs against the wall, or dont we count at all.
Can you decide, are you mesmerised.
Do you know which side youre standing?
Cos when it falls gonna take us all.
Gotta know what were demanding, I never lie, cant hear you cry,
Coming from on high,
Were too young to die!

Of Greed And Corruption
Of greed and corruption we are all too aware
It's happening in your suburb and the big World out there
Many in high places into corporate crime
And more honorable than them in jail serving time
On the scales of justice one must cast a doubt
Big time corporate crims seldom ever caught out
Money speaks every language some are known to say
In the twenty first century it does seem that way
Of greed and corruption the whispers abound
Amongst influential people criminals to be found
To buy their way out of trouble they seldom do fail
The power of their money can keep them from jail
And of greed and corruption we hear every day
Whoever did tell us that crime does not pay?

The Crusader Against Corruption
The politicians are mindless
about the opprobrium heaped on them
for their misdeeds and corruption.
Politics is an open-sesame
to criminals and the cunning
for fulfilling their ambitions.
An overdose of bribes has made
public life servile and squalid.
When the courts order to attach their wealth
and detain them in prison, they make a fun of it.
' God has already ordered a one-two punch to me
to give my wealth to the poor
and go to jail for a public cause', they say.
The votes of people with nous
don't decide the winners in these obscene elections.
The votes of the illiterates and the votes
clicked in stealth choose the victors.
When the government is gripped in the hands
of the opportunists of parties one after the other,
the rich buy the posts of officers in hidden auctions.
The middle class bargain for clerical jobs.
The sons of the poor join the gangsters and smugglers
who run a parallel government, colluding with
the politicians who live for uplifting the poor.
The poor women need to trade in open market or the nets.
The people are ossified to stretch hands
to grab the freebies and graft, and sell their votes.
Ouch! why this Anna Hazare, the last surviving crusader,
goes on an outdated fast dreaming for a change?
He can't provoke a public outcry against corruption
with the outfits of graduates and tottering old men.
Will his message reach the illiterate ocean in rural hamlets
when the T.V. channels are owned by the demagogues?

The unions claim the deck is stacked against them when it comes to labor laws, but the truth is many private and public sector workers are forced to pay union dues as a condition of their employment, yet they have little say in how the unions spend their money.

A Man
I am a man as a man I've been told
Bacon is brought to the house in this mold
Born of your bellies I yearn for the cord
Years I have groveled repentance ignored
And I have been blamed
And I have repented
I'm working my way toward our union mended
I am man who has grown from a son
Been crucified by enraged women
I am son who was raised by such men
I'm often reminded of the fools I'm among
And I have been shamed
And I have relented
I'm working my way toward our union mended
And I have been shamed
And I have repented
I'm working my way toward our union mended
we don't fare well with endless reprimands
we don't do well with a life served as a sentence
this won't work well if you're hell bent on your offence
I am a man who understands your resistance
I am a man who still does what he can
to dispel our archaic reputation
I am a man who has heard all he can
cuz I don't fare well with endless punishment
Cuz I have been blamed and I have repented
I'm working my way toward our union mended
And we have been blamed and we have repented
I'm working my way toward our union mended

In smaller places...
Where the spaces in the heads of people,
Are empty and mainly filled with ego.
There will be found a high degree of denial.
An abundance of those calling themselves 'christians'
And putting themselves on moral trial.
Churches everywhere and high crime noticeable.
And so called leaders selected for their 'niceness'
Without any evidence to prove they are competent!
And those who are competent,
Ignored because they are too honest!
Therefore...
Illiteracy rates are high because intelligence is feared.
Illegitimacy is condoned to justify the low wages paid.
Property rates soar through the roof.
People are burden by high taxes.
The medical industry flourishes.
And the consciousness of the people promotes corruption,
And illegal drug sales!
While nonprofit agencies make a killing,
Declaring themselves community based.
And doing as little as possible,
To assist the well being of those living within the community.
Of course these 'agencies' are run,
By those living outside of those communities...
Who voice their opinions about the deplorable conditions allowed.
'Well...
Anything else? '
Well...
Not really.
That can be observed.
When speaking to the people...
The majority talk about how things 'used' to be!
And plans being made to go 'back home'!
Or other places where they can seek a quality of life,
They are certain to create to duplicate the one they left behind!
They don't see themselves as the problem!
Or accept that they are gay because they hide themselves,
In hetetrosexual unions that camouflage their 'in-the-closet' behaviors!
'Anything else? '
No!
That can be seen just about anywhere and everywhere today!
And the children are used as scapegoats,
To protect those who really should be locked up for producing this BS!
'Are you sure there is nothing else? '
No!
Why do you keep asking me that?
'Because I wanted to know if that was your luggage,
Left inside the station.
I saw you come in with it.
But you didn't give me the opportunity to say anything!
I couldn't interrupt you.
I'm sure the train conductor can assist you somehow!
The next stop should be in three hours.
These cocktail lounges are great,
Aren't they?
Enjoy your trip! '
