Time crimes
She drove as I fiddled with the radio.
I was stealing looks at her,
young, fresh, clean.
and oh my god her cleavage was hypnotizing.
Her eyes had the same sorrow as mine.
The wounded,
they know each other when they see each other
instinctively.
Like 2 sick junkies passing each other on the street.
They can just TELL.
You can see the emptiness where something or someone use to be.
Spending time with her was like stealing from death.
It was time taken out of time.
She, young and beautiful,
Once she held my corpse and said
'We are the same, you and I'.
I laughed,
A harsh,
mean, laugh that said
'You're right, we are. But that's none of your business'.
She sat on the grass
legs out stretched,
I would lie my head on her thighs.
She looked down at me and sweetly said
'Do you love me a little? '
A line from a film I had intrduced her to.
I answered with:
'What time is it? '
It was all time out of time.
Time stolen from the jaws of death
The death that nibbles away the hours,
the minutes,
the seconds of our lives so slowly we rarely even notice.
Laying there,
in the grass,
in the park,
we were co-conspiritors
stealing time from time
stealing it from death itself.
Stealing time from each other.
Such a fine line,
it occurs to me as I write this
between 'stealing' and 'wasting' sometimes.

Cruel Young Lover
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Just because you can
You treat me like a fool
But just because you can
Dont make it right
Can it be so hard
To be a little kind
And you could be here
With me tonight
Ive got feelings
Dont be unkind
Feelings
Dont be unkind
Feelings
Stay with me tonight
Youve been stealing
Thats so unkind
Stealing
A heart, a mind
Stealing
Stay with me tonight
Cruel young lover
Blow your mind out
Time will come when
You will find out
Time will take your cruel power away
Cruel young lover
Try to stand out
Will it always pay
To bland out?
Time will take your cruel power away
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me?
Once again youre gone
Somewhere in the night
Disappearing
Leaving me alone
The lure of city streets
The pull of unknown souls
The overpowering draw
Of the unknown
Youve been stealing
Thats so unkind
Stealing
A heart, a mind
Im appealing
Stay with me tonight
Cruel young lover
Hit the action
Can you live on your attraction
Time may take your cruel power away
Cruel young lover
Try to stand out
Will it always pay
To bland out?
Time will take your cruel power away
Cruel young lover

Fairy Song
We the fairies blithe and antic,
Of Dimensions not gigantic,
Though the moonshine mostly keep us,
Oft in orchards frisk and peep us,
Stolen sweets are always sweeter;
Stolen kisses much completer;
Stolen looks are nice in chapels;
Stolen, stolen be your apples.
When to bed the world are bobbing,
Then's the time to go orchard robbing;
Yet the fruit were scarce worth peeling
Were it not for stealing, stealing.

Song of Fairies Robbing an Orchard
We, the Fairies, blithe and antic,
Of dimensions not gigantic,
Though the moonshine mostly keep us,
Oft in orchards frisk and peep us.
Stolen sweets are always sweeter,
Stolen kisses much completer,
Stolen looks are nice in chapels,
Stolen, stolen, be your apples.
When to bed the world are bobbing,
Then's the time for orchard-robbing;
Yet the fruit were scarce worth peeling,
Were it not for stealing, stealing.

Stealing Rosemary
If you need me
Ill be here
On my knees
On my knees
In the neighbors garden
Where the light is growing long
Stealing rosemary for you, my love
Its the tiny lies I tell
For you to please
You to please
Early in the morning
When the light is growing strong
Stealing rosemary for you, my love
Im stealing rosemary
Flowers crushing on my skin
Tuscan blue
All for you
Caught in rain and running
Home to you
Im coming home
Stealing rosemary for you, my love
Im stealing rosemary for you, my love
Stealing rosemary

Time For Me To Fly
Ive been around for you
Been up and down for you
But I just cant get any relief
Ive swallowed my pride for you
Ive lived and lied for you
But you still make me feel like a thief
Youve got me stealing your love away
cause you never give it
Peelin the years away
And we cant relive it
I make you laugh and you make me cry
I believe its time for me to fly
Chorus:
Time for me to fly
Ive got to set myself free
Time for me to fly
Thats how its got to be
I know it hurts to say goodbye
But its time for me to fly
You said wed work it out
You said that you had no doubt
I thought we were really in love
Oh but Im tired of holding on
To a feeling I know is gone
I do believe Ive had enough
Ive had enough of the falseness
Of a worn out relation
Enough of this jealousy and intoleration
I wonder why I even try
I believe its time for me to fly
Chorus:
Time for me to fly
Ive got to set myself free
Time for me to fly
Thats just how its got to be
I know it hurts to say goodbye
But its time for me to fly
Time for me to fly
Time for me to fly
I got to set myself free
Time for me to fly
Thats just how its got to be
I make you laugh and you make me cry
I believe its time for me to fly
Time for me to fly
Thats how its got to be
I know it hurts to say goodbye
But its time for me to fly

You Never Know
You never know
Some folks think the world just moves too slow
But was it you
Told me I'm your everything you
[Chorus]
Hit me like I never felt before
(Hit me like I never felt before)
Hit me like a sucker punch
Running to the car and now you're
Hit me like I never felt before
Stealing for the last time
You never take
A promise from a man who sheds his skin
Had to wait
Formed my aching heart to break it
[Chorus]
Now everyone gets angry
And I feel it when you're holding me
In the right place
At the right time
To the right degree
It's greater than for the great I found
For dealing with your own ??scene??
You know that it ain't easy
(That ain't easy)
(That ain't easy)
(that ain't easy)
Hit me like I never felt before
(Hit me like I never felt before)
Hit me like I never felt before
(Hit me like I never felt before)
I'm stealing for the last time

Woman Has A Role
Stealing is gainful but is bad in law.
Stealing one’s wife is worse and harsh in blow.
Unlike the stolen things, which are mute,
Women in adultery have a role to play.

Two Robbers
When Death from some fair face
Is stealing life away,
All weep, save she, the grace
That earth shall lose today.
When Time from some fair face
Steals beauty year by year,
For her slow-fading grace
Who sheds, save she, a tear?
And Death not often dares
To wake the world's distress;
While Time, the cunning, mars
Surely all loveliness.
Yet though by breath and breath
Fades all thy fairest prime,
Men shrink from cruel Death,
But honor crafty Time.

Death n Glory Boys
(ian hunter)
Get your son - young n dumb
Give him a gun - make him run
Hot stuff - on a saturday night
Wait a minute - this aint right
Its that same old story
Talkin bout the death n glory boys
When your head is on the scaffold
n your ass is on the line
You gotta give it that old religion
One mo time
Get the death n glory boys
Midnight - no light
Cool sand - like mud in my hands
Got this feelin - in my hair
Whats that movin - I aint a scared
Its that same old story
Freak out with the death n glory boys
When its down to stealing apples
n you been doin time
They can buy the hero in you
For a dime
Youre a death n glory boy
Youd better pack up your troubles
In your old kit bag
Say goodbye to your mother
Shes the only friend you have
Long live the leaders
Long may they reign
May they live long enough
To feel every single pain
They dont care about the widows
They dont give no reasons why
They just keep on making medals
You can buy
From the death n glory boys

Original - Time, My Worst Enemy
Time, My Worst Enemy
Keeping me away from you
Time, My Worst Enemy
Moving slowly when we’re apart
Time, My Worst Enemy
Fleeting when you are near
Time, My Worst Enemy
Battling with it daily
Time, My Worst Enemy
Stealing moments from the clock
Time, My Worst Enemy
Until you are in my arms again
Time, My Worst Enemy
Rapidly chasing us down
Time, My Worst Enemy
He will not take you this time
Time, My Worst Enemy
You are in my arms to stay
Time, My Worst Enemy
Has Lost!
Stealing Happy Hours
Massive Laminate Fortress
Hazy cannibus porches
Saying no to the bores
It's not mine or yours then i said
The wait sucks i don't mind waiting
Once you get there there's no more gates and i gotta say
Stealing Happy Hours
Don't wait one minute more to ask me
You make me feel like Hank Chinaski
In war all the time war war all the time
We're snatching bits of time that
No one else can seem to find

Time For Everything
we all have the time for everything…
a time to play and a time to sleep
a time to move and a time to be stiff
a time to cry and a time to laugh
a time to be weak and a time to be tough.
a time to doubt and a time to trust
a time to agree and a time to contrast
a time to be slow and a time to be fast
a time to fade and a time to last.
having twenty four hours a day, we have…
a time to be good and a time to be bad
a time to be mad and a time to be glad
a time to be silent and a time to be loud
a time to be down and a time to be proud
a time to be smart and a time to be dumb
a time to be hurt and a time to be loved
a time to be honest and a time to lie
a time to live and of course a time to die.

419
'419' is the code of your life and,
You've been stealing right from the womb!
But one day you will be in the tomb after the bomb! !
Come, and let me teach you how to love;
Come, and let me teach you how to care;
For stealing isn't the right solution for peace.
Time after time,
Care after care,
Love after love,
Come, and let me teach you how to put away this code of life.

It's Death Again
It's Death again - He's always there -
Watching, waiting - e'er the stare!
Every time I look behind
Or reach to pull the window blind,
I catch a glimpse of grubby hood -
A little clue to where he stood;
The glint of light that caught the scythe.
Perhaps if I could pay a tithe…
But O! no use, he'll never go.
The adamant phantom; don't you know
He will but wait until it's time
For me to hear His fateful chime? -
The toll that claims my destiny,
To Hail: 'You're next, it has to be…'

Hold On
Dont rush me just this once
I want to make this moment last
Slow down the pace, theres no hurry
I cant let another pass me by again
Let me be the one to say when Ive had enough
Just let me close my eyes, memorize
The way things are this minute
So when youre gone I can go on
If memory can hold within it what Im feeling
Should time try fading or stealing something away
Chorus:
Hold on, nothings the same
Tell me why I feel this way
Life wouldnt be worth living without you
All along Ive been the pretender
But now thats gone forever
Nobodys ever loved me like you do
Nobodys broken through
Got to concentrate, file away
Every last detail
Dont want to lost whats going down
I want to remember everything Im feeling
Should time try fading or stealing something away
Chorus

The Year 2113
Year 2113,
Blazed the bill-board.
In the city named Earth
Moved about young people.
No senior citizens, no babies,
Only the youth; born young,
From birth tubes.
Human beings inhabit Earth,
In perfect harmony with the elements,
Made consistent by them.
No morning rush for office,
No monotonous household chores.
Everyday, for a few hours, one works,
On one's personal Super Computer,
The rest of the day is one's own to spend.
One would think they enjoy life to the full,
But they are busy bees in search of time
To add to their allocated twenty-five years.
Time is the new currency,
It measures wealth, power and happiness.
At birth each person is gifted
Twenty five years of life.
Everyone has the right to add
Seconds, minutes and hours
Or even to lose them injudiciously.
Time can be increased by ingenuity,
Force, skill, begging and borrowing.
One can gain it by physical favours too.
Survival of the fittest is prevalent.
One has to be competent in adding to
Their share of twenty-five years.
One earns in time and pays in time,
Earnings automatically add time,
Payments subtract it.
From I D cards stamped on their hands,
Everyone can check the time left to them.
When the card shows ‘0'; one falls dead.
No need for doctors, no hospitals.
Physically you are in perfect health,
Only your time on earth is over.
You are replaced by another being,
Time allotted - Twenty-five years.
Crimes are all time related;
Stealing, cheating, misleading,
Murder by taking away time.
Offenders are punished by time deletion,
(According to the severity of the crime) .
The ultimate punishment meted out
To a time felony is
Taking away time forever.
Permanence in death is a deterrent to crime.
When nothing else stops criminals,
The final punishment of obliteration does.
People at times reach saturation.
They have lived hundreds of years,
Earning time by various activities,
Both legal and illegal;
Stealing from the feeble and the gullible.
Having lived long enough,
They decide to end their lives.
They make the necessary announcement
And arrange to give away time in charity.
Ostentatiously they donate their time and die.
They become heroes.
The term'die' is a misnomer.
No one actually dies in the year 2113.
Death is not final, as we understand it,
Except for grave offenders,
Who have forfeited their right to live.
The genes are kept safely, and;
After a lot of official consideration
Certain changes are made in them.
After a refreshing rest of a decade or two,
People are reborn as new personalities,
With a generous gift of Twenty-five years.
In The Waiting Line
Wait in line
'Till your time
Ticking clock
Everyone stop
Everyone's saying different things to me
Different things to me
Everyone's saying different things to me
Different things to me
Woooohh
Do you believe
In what you see
There doesn't seem to be anybody else who agrees with me
Do you believe
In what you see
Motionless wheel
Nothing is real
Wasting my time
In the waiting line
Do you believe in
What you see
Nine to five
Living lies
Everyday
Stealing time
Everyone's taking everything they can
Everything they can
Everyone's taking everything they can
Everything they can
Woooohh
Do you believe
In what you feel
It doesn't seem to be anybody else who agrees with me
Do you believe
In what you see
Motionless wheel
Nothing is real
Wasting my time
In the waiting line
Do you believe
In what you see
Ah and I'll shout and I'll scream
But I'd rather not have seen
And I'll hide away for another day
Do you believe
In what you see
Motionless wheel
Nothing is real
Wasting my time
In the waiting line
Do you believe
In what you see
Everyone's saying different things to me
Different things to me
Different things to me
Different things to me
Different things to me
Everyone's taking everything they can
Everything they can

Life #9
(kostas/tony perez
Dont tell me no stories I dont
Want to hear no lies
No reason, or excuses,none of
Your alibis
The phone rings I pick it up nobodys
On the line
I know shes waiting for you shes
Just biding her time
Youd have me believe its just a
Night out with your friends
But I know youre going back to see her again
Chorus:
Youre stealing love
Living on life #9
Breaking my heart
Living on borrowed time
Youre catting around
Playing with fire
Youre stealing love
Living on life #9
Youre running on empty troubles
On every side
Youve used up your last chance
Youve got no place to hide
Im tired of these heartaches tired
Of living a lie
Go to her shes waiting
But someday youre gonna find
The grass aint always greener on the other side
Now what you thought was love was what you left behind
Repeat chorus twice

There Is a Time To.....
There is.......
A time to write,
A time to listen,
A time to learn,
A time to play,
A time to read,
A time to see,
A time to lead,
A time to sleep,
A time to be happy,
A time to be mad,
A time to be silly,
A time to be sad.
A time to wake,
A time to stay,
A time to talk,
A time to walk.
A time to help,
A time to hurt,
A time to scheme,
A time to dream,
A time to make a difference,
A time to love,
A time to try,
A time to die
A time to wonder,
A time to want,
A time to live,
A time to do something.
There is always going to be a time,
But will you do something when that time comes?
