Yes You Are MY Hero...or is it heroin

You have always been my hero

With your brave and sullen face

scoffing at the world

afraid of no disgrace

And scoffing at religion too

while clinging to a twig

my dear I've never seen your hair

but I won't lift up your wig

I think you must have pulled it out

but really that's ok

worry has a way of giving back

ulcers for decay

Dont Be A Hero

when will this world need a hero to save?
save us form our tears and our graves

to save us when were down...
there ant that many hero's around

some came and some gone
fought for the right to be wrong

some we had see in our dreams
some hid, stayed a mystery

some loved to have a crowed
some fought just to stay about

but when all the hero's seem to fail
who will save us form this hell?

when will this world need a hero thats real?
that knows our pain and knows how we feel

when the world needs a hero its to late
the ones that seems to be brave end up to be fake....

most hero's today arent so brave
but theres a hero that i proclaim! ! !

Brave New World

Welcome
(world)
Welcome
(world)
Open your mind to come with me
Were just about to begin
Take a deeper breath now baby
Stretch and breath me in
Feel your way
Feel your way
Feel your way
Searching for a healing hand
That moves instinctively
Open up my secret thought
And float up consciously
Far away
Far away
Far away
Dont insult your inner child
Im innocently wild
To welcome
Brave new world
Gotta believe I wanna be, giving you energy
Brave new girl
Gotta believe in what I do, taking me back to you
Going deeper for a brave new world
Catch me when Im falling
As I climb the wall of sound
Break on through to the other side
Now reach for higher ground
Breath me in
Breath me in
Breath me in
Meditate and levitate
Upon the human being
To welcome
Brave new world
Gotta believe I wanna be, giving you energy
Brave new girl
Gotta believe in what I do, taking me back to you
Going deeper for a brave new world
Relax generally energy
Virtual sexuality
Ego bliss
(world)
Super enlightment
Deeper
(world)
A physical, sexual environment
Breath in
Dont insult your inner child
Im innocently wild
To welcome
Brave new world
Gotta believe I wanna be giving you energy
Brave new girl
Gotta believe in what I do is taking me back to you
Brave new world
Gotta believe I wanna be giving you energy
Brave new girl
Gotta believe in what I do is taking me back to you
Brave new world
(relax, generally) giving you energy
Brave new girl
(breath in) giving you energy
Brand new girl is in her brave new world

Im In Disgrace

The first time that I saw you
You were the lady of my dreams.
The very next time I had to make you mine,
And I treated you like a queen.
The third time that I saw you
You treated me with such distaste,
Now I wish Id never seen your face.
Im in disgrace,
Im in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face,
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
You captured me in your embrace.
Theres no use blaming me
And saying I was your ruination
Because it was you equally
That got us into this situation.
It wasnt lust, it wasnt rape,
It was just a mistake
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face.
Im in disgrace. shes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
You captured me in your embrace.
Was your love real or faked?
Or was it only infatuation?
Picture you in my place.
I wish Id acted with a little less haste.
Im in disgrace.
Im in disgrace.
Because I fell for your pretty face.
Oh what a waste. hes in disgrace.
Im in disgrace. hes in disgrace.
Now my names dirt and Im disgraced.
Im in disgrace.

Sorrow Under Mist

Mist -

Giving wispy vapour to the breath,
Cool calm to autumn afternoons,
A hovering air of mysticism
Over brooding lakes -

Was different here,
Affording company, closeness -
A caring arm around her shoulders.

In the eyes, a once-clear oceanic blue
Wavered under water -
Tears telling torrid truths
She couldn't face -
Like the glowering image in the mirror
You don't see in your mind's eye
Of compensation; delusion.

We see her sitting on the concrete steps
That led down to the dew-laden garden.
She's peering up, sensing her diffuse companion,
Refreshing in its chill; giving crispness
To the stealth of dulling evening.

But the bite of air couldn't lift the sorrow
Of pale youth in love,
Shouldered by a not-in-love and scoffing eye.

Rejection hurt;
Hurts -
Wrenches deep -
Emotion that we can't deny!

Music Is Hapiness

I lift up my hands
The smile on my face tells all
The music
Takes me away
Away from everything bad
The Music
It makes me laugh
It makes me happy
I lift up my hands
Sway back and forth
If there is one thing good in this world
Its Music
It fills my mind
With good thoughts
Replacing the bad ones
My eyes
Full of joy
Instead of sadness
The music
Is my happiness
I lift up my hands
Shake my head back and forth
My hair in my face
The music
It lets me
Come out of my shell
The music
Lets me be who I am
I lift up my hands
The rhythm pounds on my eardrums
The ends of my mouth
Curl up
Instead of down
I lift my head
Brush the hair out of my eyes
The music
Is my happiness

Brave New World

Dying swans twisted wings, beauty not needed here
Lost my love, lost my life, in this garden of fear
I have seen many things, in a lifetime alone
Mother love is no more, bring this savage back home
Wilderness house of pain, makes no sense of it all
Close this mind dull this brain, messiah before his fall
What you see is not real, those who know will not tell
All is lost sold your souls to this brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
Dragon kings dying queens, where is salvation now
Lost my life lost my dreams, rip the bones from my flesh
Silent screams laughing here, dying to tell you the truth
You are planned and you are damned in this brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
A brave new world, in a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
In a brave new world, a brave new world
Dying swans twisted wings, bring this savage back home

Clinging Back

When you see a man come walking down through George Street loose and free,
Suit of saddle tweed and soft shirt, and a belt and cabbagetree,
With the careless swing and carriage, and the confidence you lack—
There is freedom in Australia! he’s a man that’s clinging back.
Clingin’ back,
Holdin’ back,
To the old things and the bold things clinging back.
When you see a woman riding as I saw one ride to-day
Down the street to Milson’s Ferry on a big, upstanding bay,
With her body gently swaying to the horse-shoes’ click-a-clack,
You might lift your hat (with caution)—she’s a girl who’s clinging back.
Clinging back,
Swinging back.
To the old things and the bold things clinging back.

When you see a rich man pulling on the harbour in a boat,
With the motor launches racing till they scarcely seem to float,
And the little skiff is lifting to his muscles tense and slack,
You say “Go it” to a sane man. He’s a man that’s clinging back.
Clinging back,
Swinging back,
To the old things and the bold things clinging back.

When you see two lovers strolling, arm-in-arm—or round the waist,
And they never seem to loiter, and they never seem to haste,
But indifferent to others take the rock or bush-hid track
You be sure about their future, they’re a pair that’s clinging back.
Clinging back,
Holding back,
To the old things and the bold things clinging back.

I, a weary picture writer in a time that’s cruel plain,
Have been clinging all too sadly to what shall not come again,
To what shall not come and should not! for the silver’s mostly black,
And the gold a dull red copper by the springs where I held back.
Clinging back,
Holding back,
To the old things and the cold things clinging back.

But if you should read a writer sending truths home every time,
While his every “point” goes ringing like the grandest prose in rhyme,
Though he writes the people’s grammar, and he spreads the people’s “clack,”
He is stronger than the Public! and he’ll jerk the mad world back.
Yank it back,
Hold it back,
For the love of little children hold it back.

Lonely Hearts

Ooh, darling, what can I do?
I feel so afraid, and even my friends dont know what to say,
Thats why Im asking you.
Im so afraid,
I know I should be strong,
But when affection is gone, its hard to face each day,
Knowing love has drifted away.
Somehow I cant hide the pain,
Is he gonna come back again?
Dear lonely heart,
I wish things could be the way that they were at the start,
But you must face the fact,
If hes going to leave theres no way that youll win him back.
You gotta try to hold back the tears,
Dont give into your fears.
Darling, Im so afraid,
I can get through the night,
But when affection is gone, its hard to face each day,
Oh will he please come home.
Dear lonely heart, dear lonely heart,
Dear lonely heart,
I wish things could be the way that they were at the start,
But you must face the fact,
If hes going to leave theres no way that youll win him back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dear lonely heart, dear lonely heart,
Dear lonely heart.
Darling, Im so afraid,
I can get through the night,
But I cant face the day knowing you are far away,
Oh will you please come home.

Coward

Here stands the coward
As you look upon his face
So afraid of the world outside
His soul is full of pity and disgrace.
He talks behind ones back
When they are never around
As he is tough when he is alone
And he is always coward bound.
He will never talk face to face
When conflict heads his way
He will just run away and hide
And to GOD for protection he will pray.
He lacks the courage to do many things
As he always runs out of mans sight
He hides while no one is looking
As he can never fight his own fight.
He will make up his stories and lies
So he can cover up his cowardly way
As that is all that he knows to do
He is so afraid of all danger and pain.
He will laugh and will always smile
As that too is part of his act
So persons might believe he is brave
But bravery and manhood he does lack.
He is brave when females are around
Then he pretends he is something he's not
He feels their heads with his lies and stories
Or of deeds that other men had done and sought.
He is so much like a frightened animal
With its tail tucked between its legs
To all he shows that he has no courage
Which is more than a cowardly plague.
He is also known by other names
Which he has been call in the past before
He is also known as a chicken and sissy
And that too is branded upon his core.
He timidly wakes up everyday
And takes himself a sadly shower
He washes off the dirt from the night before
But he cannot wash off being a coward.

It is the moment of zero
You had to be hero
You had to be brave
And like a real man behave
All my life to you, I'll give
I'll support you by the ave
But remember
It is the moment of zero
And you had t be hero

You are in a crater
Hurry lift yourself up
You will be the winner
If frome nightmares you wake up
It is the moment of zero
You had to be hero

Think, plan, work hard, you will be the major
In your way to the glory just start up
by the assiduity you will be anterior
The way is turbin, dont fid up

My Brave Face

My brave face.
Ive been living in style
Unaccustomed as I am to the luxury life.
Ive been hitting the town and it didnt hit back.
Ive been doing the rounds
Unaccustomed as I am to the time on my hands.
Now I dont have to tell anybody when Im gonna get back.
Ever since you went away Ive had this sentimental
Inclination not to change a single thing.
As I pull the sheets back on the bed I want to go bury my head
In your pillow.
Chorus:
Now that Im alone again, I cant stop breaking down again,
The simplest things set me off again
And take me to that place
Where I cant find my brave face
Where I cant find my brave face
My brave, my brave, my brave face.
Ive been living a lie
Unaccustomed as I am
To the work of a housewife,
Ive been breaking up
Dirty dishes and throwing them away.
Ever since you left I have been trying to
Compose a baby will you please come home note
Meant for you.
As I clear away another
Untouched tv dinner
From the table I laid for two.
Now that Im alone again
I cant stop breaking down again,
The simplest things set me off again
And take me to that place
Where I cant find my brave face,
Where I cant find my brave face,
My brave, my brave, my brave face.
My brave face.

Big Man

He’s small in heart and in mind, the big man of this present time.
He only lives the here and now, on eternity, he just states how?
It’s not my job to make him see, for that task belongs to only He,
It’s He who is above the skies, who opens hearts and blind eyes.

God sends The Spirit from on high, to help us see how and why.
He wants a sign to help his belief; his wait is only filled with grief.
Christ’s return will be a surprise, and will only add to his demise.
If it’s Judgment he’s waiting till, his mind will only be smaller still.

When we get snatched into the air, no more scoffing will we bear.
Men, who scoffed with delight, will be filled with unbearable fright.
Those who knew but still remain, shall never again be the same.
For they will shake in holy fear, knowing Christ will soon appear.

And then Judgment will begin, on all those who parade their sin,
Christ on earth will reign at last, as sin will be a thing of the past.
Now is time to accept The Lord, further scoffing you can’t afford.
Time of Grace will be no more, as Judgment is the closing door.

Thinking small of The Living God, only invites His Wrath and Rod.
And you won’t scoff at The King, and when in Eternity at anything.
Christ is real and you shall see, when you are all alone in Eternity.
However, you won’t have time, to change your heart or your mind.

05 - A Hero

A hero thinks of others before they think of themselves
A hero will die to protect
A hero can be of any age, any colour
A hero can be man, woman or child
A hero is courageous, loving and brave
A hero will never complain
A hero can be made in one act of compassion
Or years of tender loving care
Some hero's are remembered, whilst many are left forgotten
Hero's are angels in disguise, saving precious innocent lives

The Mind Inside My Hero

Unique friend imposible to find,
caring and loving for the ones who are,
The protector of broken hearts,
A true hero in my world.

Seems to be perfect for us,
but that's only what the eyes can see,
'cause my heart can see something else,
A vulnerable soul under it's shield.

My perfect hero has his sectrets,
Unknown for the ones who see with the eyes,
my hero is becoming weak with the time,
but he can't realize....

The mind inside my hero,
Keeps feelings hidden,
for the ones he must protect,
to trust, and not be afraid.

A red rose in between many white,
similar to the others, but never the same,
feeling lonely on the inside,
wanting to hide and not to face the truth.

An exquisite prey in the jungle,
afraid of the hungry predators,
keep trying not to make any noise,
just avoiding to be haunted.

I can see him with my heart,
and I see his fears and his pain,
I understand he is only being human,
I still love him the same,
and still he is my hero....

Hero?

Hail great hero!
Hero brave!
We praise you hero!
I your slave
Now duly fall
On giving knee
In hero worship
Unto thee!

Now did you hero save our globe
When draped in classic hero’s robe?
And did it flow as reddened blood
As battles raged in fields of mud?

Oh hero tell me of your fame:
Were writhing serpents fair your game?
Did you pierce the dragon’s heart
Intrepid hero; play the part

When Tyrant slain in hero’s fight
On quaking ground thro’ battle’s might?
And did you hero conquer evil -
Waste the minions of the devil?

Oh valiant hero, does your armour
Gleam from ventures steeped in valour?
Your sword oh hero, sparks a glint
From charging steel to give the hint

Of what great chapters Hero's Tome
Might tell to us when heroes roam
Through lands of yore when goblins vile
Sought a chance to kill for bile.

Oh hail thy hero,
Hero tall!
Bless you hero,
As I fall
In blushing shame,
I speak to me…

This mirror aids to fantasise
That I be hero worldly wise,
But meek and mild is all I am:
Hero naught; unbridled scam.

A Hero?

Her hero is pretty and thin
Her hero is a hero to many
A hero of fame and a hero of fortune
A role model, a hero of glamour
Her hero is a hero to many

His hero is fit and fast
His hero is a hero to many
A hero of sport, a hero of games
A role model, a hero of victory
His hero is a hero to many

Her hero is clever yet plane
Her hero is a hero to few
A hero of science, a hero of logic
A role model, a hero of knowledge
Her hero is a hero to few

His hero is a hero of art but he is poor
His hero is a hero to few
A hero of word a hero of writings
A role model, a hero of language
His hero is a hero to few

But that’s the thing with your heros....
Hero worship is only skin deep.

Everything Is Kiling Me....

As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me

When The Fox Dies, His Skin Counts

WE young people in the shade

Sat one sultry day;
Cupid came, and "Dies the Fox"

With us sought to play.

Each one of my friends then sat

By his mistress dear;
Cupid, blowing out the torch,

Said: "The taper's here!"

Then we quickly sent around

The expiring brand;
Each one put it hastily

ln his neighbour's hand.

Dorilis then gave it me,

With a scoffing jest;
Sudden into flame it broke,

By my fingers press'd.

And it singed my eyes and face,

Set my breast on fire;
Then above my head the blaze

Mounted ever higher.

Vain I sought to put it out;

Ever burned the flame;
Stead of dying, soon the Fox

Livelier still became.
