Lifeguard Clinging to a Steeple

Why are all the survivors of the needle's eye
nude, as if their lifethread had disrobed
rather than sewn them. Sans coat-fare,
we proceed it seems only to precede;
birth to burial, are not yet here.

But when did we first start embracing
the wakes of ourselves in each other rather
than each other? As the fruit falls
to hiatus us, its bloom spoiled by last year's cores.

Or the sun whose portrait rots in our pores,
those sweatbeads blurred in closeup but clear afar--
that pointillist pap, that hybrid suicide.

The face carefully tattooed around love's wounds
does not itself look injured.

Sketching My Face From A Mirror

using a ballpoint pen i sketch my face
from the mirror

looking carefully on every line of my face
i let my pen run tracing
every year
of my past stopping
on some pores and hairs and moles
marking some
points of emptiness and hiding places
and foxholes
and burial grounds
and long boulevards
and tunnels
and plains and green fields and deserts
and mountains

they are all on my face
my eyes looking at my eyes
not completely
with disgust
the parameters and contours
of my past

on such a beautiful face as this
how can i ever fail
the next time
around

Suicide

Suicide
I love that word
Suicide
it sounds nice
Suicide
it tastes like freedom
Suicide
nothin to live for
Suicide

Suicide
these wounds wont seem to heal
Suicide
this pain is just to real
Suicide
theres just to much that time cannot erase

Suicide
slice your wrist already
Suicide
hard and deep
Suicide
why am i still writing
Suicide
Goodbye

Rip Up The Threads

We're all in this together.
We never were alone.
We've just been told
we're different.
And so the words were sewn
into a fabric, sewn up tight
by the dirty hands with the needle
and the threads became the grime.
It made the fabric
and wove the shame
into it tightly
without any name.
For without a name
there's just a blank space,
no visible face
to cast the blame on.

Rip up the threads.
Rip it in shreds.
Each race take a thread
and pull it apart.
Your common purpose
will be what you see.
And peace will finally start.
Love will be there
for we're creatures from God
that wants us to share
in a fabric made of love.

Go Green, Soylent Green

It’s matter of fact that earth is going green,
From major corporations to the fluorescent household light bulb,
To the way of life that is to be seen,
After death going green is already in progress for funeral parlors in the UK,
And that is a hit,
- it’s the rage,

Cardboard coffins, clothes sewn from natural fibers, a burial plot in a natural setting.
Green funerals attempt to be eco-friendly at every stage.

It makes a terrific do-it-yourself project,
To have one built from designer cardboard,
-sewn paper bags I would reject,
On ones pocket book that should be breather,

'The trouble is, they are a bit ungainly to use, ' said Oakfield Wood burial ground director Oliver Peacock. 'They're not terribly easy to handle and if it's wet, they don't look their best either.'

Better than being forced to give up one’s life,
To be made into some kind of multi-biochemical compound,
To make the survivors at ease with their strife,
Your last moments so serene,
To Go Soylent Green.

Suicide.

Suicide, suicide
Your presence is near
Suicide, suicide
I wish you were here
Suicide, suicide
Take me away
Suicide, suicide
Please make it today
Suicide, suicide
An answer, for me
Suicide, suicide
I need to escape, be free
Suicide, suicide
I’ve had too much
Suicide, suicide
Take me, do your touch
Suicide, suicide
Leave the rest behind
Suicide, suicide
You’re all over my mind
Suicide, suicide
Let me pass in peace
Suicide, suicide
I need to release

Den

Brain walls: bio-insulation keeps me cosy
in my hidden room.

Eye balls: bio-windows let me peer and sneer
upon our filthy race, with

Ear holes – bio-microphones – assuming tones
I only wish to face.

Inside, I flit between assimilation,
fantasy, and desperation – each another room
for me to occupy –

as in a nest or burrow, a honeycombed hive –
fathoming which to best survive in;
harbour me from that outside.
Shit! It’s just as bad in here –
I need another den to hide in!

So where’s a niche to keep me from the world,
but also from my rabid head?
Yes, of course –! it’s being dead.

Suicide, suicide
Come and save me
Suicide, suicide
Come and take me
Suicide, suicide
Where are you hiding
Suicide, suicide
Please let it be now
Suicide, suicide
Give me and answer
Suicide, suicide
Release me, i beg of you
Suicide, suicide
I can't take no more
Suicide, suicide
Free me, please touch me
Suicide, suicide
Help me end this
Suicide, suicide
It's only you in my mind
Suicide, suicide
Take me silently

I need it now more than ever

Faithless, The Wonder Boy

I've had these jeans since i was born
And now they're ripped and now they're torn
And all my friends have skateboards
I want the toys of other boys
I want a knife and a gun and things
But mom and dad will not give in
And i can't put the needle in
Can't put the needle in
I can't put the needle in
No i can't put the needle in
Can't put the needle in
Can't put the needle in
And now i know just what it is
It's called disease and it's got my head
It always runs where i hide
Too scared too talk, too scared to try
Too scared to know the reasons why
And all my friends say bye bye
And i can't put the needle in
Can't put the needle in
Can't put the needle in
No i can't put the needle in

The Memory Of Suicide

I sit and think of the moment I shall have
The moment I leave this place to find what is truely mine
The moment I will soon have

I sit and think of the pain, the joy
Of watching myself go, as if in a dream
The moment I stop being time's toy

I sit and I wait for it to come; the freedom, the passion
As I watch the blood fall so red, so heavenly
The cuts and scars are my fassion

I sit and I stair in the eyes of death as life comes to an end
I shall be free, I shall have all I want
And then for you I shall send

Feel the breath of suicide
See it's face
Love it, charish the memory, suicide

As I sit and wait I feel her grasp on my soul, on my mind
I feel her voice chanting her name 'suicide.... suicide'
She is for me she is my love, she is so kind

I know I shall be with her for ever in eternity, in her home
I know how sweet her voice, her touch
You should follow you should come

As I sit and wait I know she will love me like her own
I know I have come home to her, and will stay with her
For my broken heart she has sewn

As I sit and wait she closes in on me so dark, so cold
I will join her in the dark in the serenity
And I know you will follow as you are told

Feel the breath of suicide
See her face
Love her, charish the memory, suicide

A Valentine in Pain

A dream of hidden death,
Embedded in her flowers –
Dripping; drenched in nectar tears

Now the dream of dying soul;
Confined, a trembling heart is
Squeezing out the ember years

And in her dream of youth,
Abounding buttocks writhe,
Acting out the careless dares

But the dream of hideous beauty:
Self-delusion, begging fears

Evolving from an agonising birth, her
Blacker days eclipsing; draining worth

‘So ugly living calls to die –
Forever in the dreams I cry! ’

Erotic debt; a laughing lie
Were done for her –
A blade for sure!
The dreams to cure!

A calming sigh…

And in a smile of pain
She bled and waned
Her cold pathetic bye

Pablo Picasso

When you start with a portrait and search for a pure form, a clear volume, through successive eliminations, you arrive inevitably at the egg. Likewise, starting with the egg and following the same process in reverse, one finishes with the portrait.

Dear suicide

Dear suicide
Why I ‘am alive?
Suicide suicide
Why is so sad?
A lot of pain in my life
Suicide suicide
My heart is so black
Full of pain and sadness
Suicide suicide
My thoughts were so nice
But now I’m so sad
Suicide suicide
I always cry, don’t hurt me again
I just want to be free and fly
Suicide suicide
I don’t want to cry anymore
All I want is fly in the sky
Suicide suicide
The end is coming for me
The beginning of the end of my life
Suicide suicide
Just let me rest in peace
And never come back
Suicide suicide
Time to go
I say goodbye
Suicide suicide
Thanks for listened to me
I’ll see you in my new life
Suicide suicide
Adios
Ciao
Goodbye.

Under Scorned and Surprised Prying Eyes

For years what was done,
Was done in their faces.
All of it done that way.
Like branches extended from a tree...
With each leaf examined.
Each look was allowed a closeup.
Every annoying touch was endured.
Some even snatched twigs off to use...
To mock and abuse the growth.
In hopes the wounds would scar!
And so they did,
Scar!
With bitter pain felt,
And buried underneath thick skin!
The cries were kept within!
And at the end of sacrifices known...
A greatness reaped from sorrows sewn,
Was revealed to show a brilliant luster!
Glowing from a light,
Illuminating bright from inside.
Sharing a radiance denied yet sparkling.
But still,
Unbelieved!
And what was done...
Had occurred under,
Scorned and surprised prying eyes!

This Is The Sweetest Suicide

life goes on
just another day
this is the sweetest suicide
blood pours out
of my open wounds
this is the sweetest suicide
the haunting smiles
and heartless laughter
this is the sweetest suicide
the pills are counted
the knife is sharp
this is the sweetest suicide
the letter placed
my final breath
this is the sweetest suicide
and now at last
i say goodbye
this is the sweetest suicide

Eyes Without A Face

I'm all out of hope. One more bad break could bring a fall.
When I'm far from home don't call me on the phone to tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive. It's easy to tease. But hard to get release.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

I spend so much time believing all the lies to keep the dream alive.
Now it makes me sad. It makes me mad at truth for lovin' what was you.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Your eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Eyes without a face.
(Les yeux sans visage) Your eyes without a face.
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face.
And now it's getting worse. Yeah.

Portrait

As I gaze blink-less
At the bare beauty of your persona
Behind the thin satin coat
Your portrait steps out alive
Out of the golden frame.

Your portrait generates
A multitude of elemental emotions,
Some romantically elusive like fluttering butterflies,
Others tangible like love-making,
Yet some others audible like the dying cadence
Of a stringed music played on my lyre.

Am churned by the immaculate portrait
Like the ocean
And I deliver nectar and parijat
From the dark womb of my private secrecy.

I owe it to your portrait timeless,
As I take the yet-to-be christened
Eleventh incarnation of Indian pantheon
Embodying love and truth
With an assured confidence.
