Ill-Fated
How can I tell you?
How can I impress you?
My worthless feelings tremble to expose it in front of you.
Though I am so much rueful, but tell me-How can I rue?
Now, It is not that face which once used to share glisten of love with you.
There is no certainty, but by God! I've been able to touch the eternity.
I know, it's difficult to get the warm dignity (though being silent lover) .
So, it hurts me and I have to take deep breath.
Now, I am holding a pen to recall my past and the prosody to be entitled.
I will not say it again.
I will not make an iteration.
Everyone is decent.
Everyone is an intemperate.
Though I am going to be an ill-fated,
But a lot of intellects I have to collect.
I want to be a moderate.

Crowded Elevator
Fifteen minutes to six and fourteen floors to go
Thirteen suited strangers makes the crowded elevator slow
And i've got a million words and phrases on the tip of my tongue
For the only non stranger next to me soon she'll know
Know, know. so let them stare
If i cry think of what you'll be and how much you will how i feel me to spill
Let all of it out right now as and expose every inch in front of them
A twelve more floors your eyes and mine all i need to come clean
Or should i wait for the lobby, spare the lies
Some 26 nervous eyes argue by the little red numbers passing by
If i wait one minute longer, i think i will die
Die, die. it isn't fair.
If i cry think of what you'll be and how much you will how i feel me to spill
Let all of it out right now as and expose every inch in front of them
If i cry think of what you'll be and how much you will how i feel me to spill
Let all of it out right now as and expose every inch in front of them
You help me to feel safe and know
All the while i've been so inquisitive
I can't go back cuz now i know how it feels to open up and breathe
I can't go back cuz now i . . .
I can't go back cuz now i . . .
I can't go back cuz now i . . .
If i cry think of what you'll be and how much you will how i feel me to spill
Let all of it out right now as and expose every inch in front of them
Yeah
Infront of them
Infront of them
Infront of them

Those of Actions and Less Words
Anyone can make comments,
About feelings meant.
Feelings claimed to have!
But kept in one's mind,
Where that time has been spent!
However...
Those of actions and less words,
Impress with images lasting.
And it is the consistency of their thoughts and deeds...
That keeps one in someone's mind,
As one that can be believed without doubt or question.
Too many people today express in public flair,
How deep their loyalty for another is...
And so profess what is kept,
But not truthfully there to be addressed.
With confessions made to others,
As if this passes a test.
While it is the things done they do...
That disproves a conviction spoken.
And not in their hearts to followed through.
Although dramatized displays are created,
To show how someone by another,
Has been made to become upset.
This is straight from a 101 Beginner's Acting Manual.
And those on the receiving end,
Are not tricked to be fooled by deceptions that begin.
Feelings they have are invested too!
And these feelings for them are protected to defend.
Not tossed about in meaningless conversations.
Conversations to impress but without a depth connected.
Anyone can make comments,
About feelings meant.
Feelings claimed to have!
But kept in one's mind,
Where that time has been spent!

How Can You Expect Me To Know?
How can you expect me,
To respect who you are,
If you have yet to reveal...
Who it is you are to me?
And you continue to let me,
Expose my feelings...
To allow them to show?
How can you expect me,
To respect who you are,
If you have yet to reveal...
Who it is you are to me?
And you continue to let me,
Expose my feelings...
To allow them to show?
How can you expect me to know to do this...
When all through our relationship,
You have been in denial mode.
How can you expect me to know?
When to me you have not let that show.
How can you expect me to know?
Do you...
Know when it shows when it does,
And,
Point that out to me to witness.

Mistakened
Those putting a foot forward,
To breakaway from portrayals...
Others may lay to say some betray.
May just not be attempts to impress.
Perhaps an identity one feels,
Is finally being addressed.
And mistakened are the ones,
Who believe an acceptance sought from them...
Is what someone who has discovered themselves,
Seeks!
And feelings explored may hurt,
When 'feelings' ignored go unnoticed.

Values
Sometimes we do things
hoping to succeed
only to impress someone
to make them like us more,
but in our haste to impress
we are flawed by mistakes
and success eludes us
at every turn of the road.
Then when those we wanted to impress
fade out of our lives
and we look back
at what we have done
we realise we don’t
need to have to impress anymore.
We then start to do things
for ourselves
and slowly our success
is finally realised.

I Am Tested...Yes!
For whatever the reasons,
Those feelings felt inside me...
Are there and deeply understood.
I bring them to the surface to expose.
As if a necessity.
As if this is a conscious mission,
I have chosen to do better than just good.
For whatever the reasons,
My expressions connect...
I am commanded by an ability,
To ensure what is said is done at my best.
I may upset some and others I may inspire.
A writer of honesty I am.
I don't have developed skills to be a liar.
Inquisitive with a curiosity,
Sometimes my visions take me to the edge.
I only pledge to be who it is I am.
I don't seek to be impressive...
Yet,
I am told I impress with the words I express.
And on a daily basis I am tested...yes!

Art of Face
Whether pretty, whether ugly
Whether smooth, whether wrinkles
Strong character or average standard
Face is the front line charisma
Whether wall, whether comical
Whether mugged, whether candid
Trained facial, natural pose
Face is the shadow of world
Raising bow, twitching nerves
Blushing cheek, glittering sweat
Curving lips, mocking tongue
Face is emotion expression
Whether poker, whether joker
The fierce tiger, the cute doll
Sometimes impress, sometimes deceive
Face is the image of mind
Plastic surgery, covering veil
Forged by time, painted by culture
The beauty of Helen, the curse of Medusa
Face is the mask of creature

I'm As Young As I Was
I stand
In front of the mirror daily
I ask myself
What has changed in me?
Between yesterday and today
I do not get an answer
I feel I am as young as I was
This goes on for years
I see white hairs
Wrinkles on the face
One day
Have I become old?
I ask myself
I do not get an answer
I feel I am as young as I was
Life goes on and on
One day
I find it difficult to stand
My image in the mirror
Looks blurred
Hands tremble
When combing the hair
Have I become old?
I ask myself
I do not get an answer
I feel I am as young as I was
One day I am in bed
I am told,
I am sick and old
No, I say
I may be old in age
But not at heart
In the mind
I am as young as I was
I got well
I still stand
In front of the mirror daily

The Winner Of This Battle
It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer,
With a chasing away.
And...
The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.
The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.
Some do not expose,
Their woes on their sleeves.
With a showing they can be compose,
To a degree.
Although they may struggle,
With many troubles...
People like this don't deny,
They don't seek a ride to hide...
And rush away on alibis.
The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.
The winner of this battle,
Doesn't ride on a saddle.
Or wear outfits,
To impress anybody they've got it licked.
It's those...
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
Emotions we must conquer.
And the winner of this of this battle,
Are those...
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.
The winner of this battle...
Are those emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.
Emotions that are conquered.

I Like To Keep The Feeling
i am wasted on some feelings
i like to keep them but they always end up
consumed
gone
lost
evaporated with no mark left for me to understand
or recall
how i wish i could have written that feeling
of
love
writing them faithfully like a devotion
but
i couldn't
my eyes are covered by tears and they cannot see
and my hands tremble at the moment of recalling
on wasted feelings
i must thrive
alone, without you, without your memory,
i muster courage
to live without meaning at all

Not too long ago (English sonnet)
Not too long ago we both knew a time of woe
but then into my life you came
and your smile on your face did glow
and never was a single day since then the same.
It feels that since ancient times
we have known each other from somewhere before
and these feelings are sublime
while daily we do love and adore each other even more.
There is something know and perfect to your face
something familiar, well loved in your speech
and I know how our feelings do daily linger as we embrace
as if forever we have know each to each
as if our feelings as a principle can never wear down
and I am glad, proud and honoured to call you my own.

Three Pretenders
Three pretenders forced their entry
There wasn't time to defend or attack
Somewhere inside I held their fury
But one by one my defenses began to crack
The first became a voice from my childhood
Without a world to call his own
Asking questions but doubting the answers
And too confused to stand up and face it alone
I can feel my body tremble
Like an animal under the gun
Can you feel your body tremble
Look in and see the eyes of Three Pretenders
The second came a shadowy hustler
Selling anything not nailed to the ground
He put a price on my resistance
And if it's high, I know he'll be marking it down
The third became a mysterious traveller
Stormy words like sea-weathered sails
His life was scarred with peaks and valleys
A haunted kingdom crumbling against the gales
I can feel my body tremble
Like a child afraid of the dark
Can you feel your body tremble
Look in and see the eyes of Three Pretenders

It Won't Be Long
It won't be long until the end.
I cannot take the rage boiling over I am spent.
It won't be long I can feel it now.
I've got my plan and feel no doubt.
I'm at my limits,
I'm broken down.
Soon I'll be free and in the ground.
I know I'm worthless a low down bum.
It won't be long now soon it's done.
I offer nothing.
I mean even less.
Accomplishing this is all I'll ever do and impress.
It won't be long just wanted to say.
Don't know how I'll make it through my remaining days.

Somehow This Is Praised
It doesn't matter where they go.
They will still show they can degrade themselves.
That is the only identity they know.
And those who protect them with excuses...
Have not a clue they've become numbed to the abuse.
It doesn't matter where they go.
They will loudly expose their ignorance.
With no common sense to use as a defense.
And everyone who came to assist them in the past...
Were backstabbed and lied upon.
Since the doers of these deeds had minds long trashed.
Worthless they are!
And somehow this is praised.

Here The Frailest Leaves Of Me
HERE the frailest leaves of me, and yet my strongest-lasting:
Here I shade and hide my thoughts--I myself do not expose them,
And yet they expose me more than all my other poems.

Here It Comes
Im not so sure and yet I know
Give me your life
Its worthless anyhow
And worthless comes
Im not so tall
As I like to think I am
Though Ill be found
Forever in your pain
And here it comes
Id rather be no one than someone with no one
Id rather be no one than someone with no one
No one to love

In Front Of Me
It's hard to breathe, from underneath
Smothering in all your heat
It's hard to take, It's tough to break
So I don't make the same mistakes
The same mistake, (4x)
Out in the yard is where I play,
Don't come in cause I'm afraid
You saw my face, I faced my friends
Do I tell or just pretend?
I found a friend, a friend who knows
Who says he'll help but then he goes
And then he goes (4x)
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
Fingernails, filled with dirt
If you don't tell, you don't get hurt
I cry for help, I pray to God
Another tear he tries to rob
To rob me of, my dignity
Cause sanctuary's far from me
Far from me (4x)
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
It's hard to take, a piece of me, so peacefully, yeah, yeah
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
So broke inside, don't run away
And find another place to stay
And make our inhibition go away
Because I'm so afraid, yeah, yeah
It's hard to breathe, from underneath
Smothering in all your heat
It's hard to take, It's tough to break
So I don't make the same mistakes
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
It's hard to take, a piece of me, so peacefully, yeah, yeah
