People parked outside my house
They must be after me
I wish that they would go away
They scare me lots you see

Demon
I fell on my knees to pray, found a demon in my safest haven.
Hideous deformation of some craved being from which I'm fleeing.
Footsteps behind me, torture my mind, wondering if a remedy I'll find.
Doesn't matter where I am, this monster still finds me, inside me is he.
Screaming, smashing my head on the bricks, cause I'm so strong yet weak.
Can't kill what I can't find, but I've still found something I can't kill!
Claws, they dig into my flesh, I'm tormented each day, slowly wasting away.
Enemies, all around, but I've got one deep inside, just one - who's almost done.
God, how do I get this demon out? It's driving me insane, cause I'm a dying man.
It's choking the life out of me, from inside out, filling me with doubt.
I went looking for the enemy, found him already in.

The greatest enemy that we face is ourselves. Sometimes it's like there's this demon inside who just won't get out. Forget about the enemies outside, we've got one inside, ourselves, and that's more than enough to bring us down.

A Sunday Prayer 07
Dear Lord there is so many questions
that plague our mind each day.
We hear of wars fought constantly,
each side declare God is with them.
Oh Lord, how can this be?
Who is right and who is wrong?
Pray help me understand.
A blind man when told
he could have his sight returned.
He refused to have it back,
saying he did not want to see,
the deprivation of man to his fellow man.
Oh, Lord surely there has to be explanation.
I pray to you to help me understand.
If there is to be hope for the human race,
we must understand each person’s problems;
never turn our back to those in need.
So Lord I ask you today,
grant us with your eternal wisdom,
so that we may understand and help,
all of our fellow man,
through their indignation and sorrow
that so many face everyday.
Send your fateful lightning
to guide us on our way.
We need your wisdom and guidance
to help us each day through.
Oh Lord, as you hear this prayer,
grant it for us so we can show,
others the road to heaven and happiness,
And lead them into the safety of your open arms.

A Small Prayer
Dear Lord I have a small prayer,
I would like you to hear today,
and I hope that within your wisdom
that you will grant for us one day.
Dear Lord the prayer I pray
is just not for me, but for everyone.
Could for just one day
there be no conflict or strife,
nor anger within anyone’s heart.
Could there be love throughout every land
where enemies would take and shake one another’s hands
and the weapons of destruction
would be thrown upon the ground.
That there would be no more killings,
no more grieving fathers, mothers,
brothers, sisters, wives, daughters and sons.
Dear Lord in your wisdom
would you grant this prayer for me,
make peace in this world reality,
then we might be able to
stamp out hunger and poverty.

Two Voices
Two voices I hear inside my head,
Both wanting their own way.
I must figure out, which voice must go,
And which I allow to stay.
One is the voice of my spirit,
The other of my mind.
One will move me farther ahead.
One will pull be further behind.
But I do not know, which voice is which,
And which voice has my best.
In order to know, which voice is true.
I put both voices to the test.
With one voice I know peace and love,

A Single Daisy
One day I encountered;
A single daisy with snowy
White petals splayed proudly
Was standing in a sea of dandelions
Although taunted and tormented she did not falter
Unafraid, to be a different shape ‘n color
With a clear voice inside my head,
she spoke to me;
“Take me from this place of angst ‘n suffering”
For this;
I’ll answer any question you may ask”
I thought for a moment and blurted;
Does she really love me?
“Indeed she does dear friend,
Ask for her hand in marriage
You’ll both know joy, without end”
“Now quickly tear me from this dust,
Toss my stem and petals to the wind
Shed salty tears of pity, if you must
Free at last I’ll be, lest you rescind”

Scattered her soft petals to the breeze

I am crazy on the inside

Inside with You, My Lord.
Inside to shoulder and release tensions.
Putting aside my own intentions and stubborn pride.

The House Of The Lord
this is the house of the lord
where people come to pray
the house of the lord
where your problems are washed away
so i enter the doors, and there in plain sight
is my lord jesus
then i know everything is alright.
he makes me choke up with emotions
that i never felt before.
yet i know deep in my heart
it will be there forever more.
he comes into our hearts and makes the gloom disappear
and takes away our worries, and all our foolish fears.
so i give myself to him with every ounce
of strenght, knowing that when i walk out
i'll see a better day, and the joy will
fullfill me in a much better way.
now when i'm lonely and my mind seems to stray
i look at all the homeless children
who try to run away,
with no one to turn to and nowhere
for them to go, they turn to the church
because of the faith that had been bestowed.
this is the things that you find in the
house of the lord.

You think you know me?
