As I sit and wait time is all I have to save
For in life all I am is a slave
To those who search for death
They come as I sit and wait for them to steal
All they see in me is their next meal
They come for the flesh and blood
As I sit upon this step I weep
For they will come if I sleep
To take me whith them to the caves
There they shall huddle in the dark
And they shall leave their mark
As they take the blood and life from those who live
And after they have taken their share
They shall bring us back as one of them, and into death we stare
As they wait for dark to fall so they can come once more

Life Or Death?
Every day we live, we always face death
We get closer to it, every time we take a breath
Life is special but death brings peace
Life brings reality and things you believe
Death is hard for everyone around
Death is quiet, no more bad sounds
Life is also hard, all the things we go through
Life can never be easy, no matter what you do
Death is sad, for those who cry
Death is meaningful, for those who die
Life is a work of art, it's nice to look
Life is full of teachings, like an open book
Death is the new life, might as well be dead
Death is a lot more, for what's up ahead
Life brings new things, always something new
Life brings surprises, something out the blue
Death is scary, nothing we want to see

Disingenuousness
Here lies another box for nature,
Carbon ready;
Black to eyes down here,
Where death is at its job.
Up there you’ll hear a rhythmic sob
Or two from living yet-to-dies –
A humming lacrimoso –
It all but cleans the eyes:
Forget it –
The dismal show of grief –
Life is only chemistry –
Our stay is only brief.
It’s we who hype it up!
Diaphragms jerk again;
The jet monotone of hearses
Feeds the disingenuousness
Of undertakers –
They seem to stare at something up ahead –

The Memory Of Suicide
I sit and think of the moment I shall have
The moment I leave this place to find what is truely mine
The moment I will soon have
I sit and think of the pain, the joy
Of watching myself go, as if in a dream
The moment I stop being time's toy
I sit and I wait for it to come; the freedom, the passion
As I watch the blood fall so red, so heavenly
The cuts and scars are my fassion
I sit and I stair in the eyes of death as life comes to an end
I shall be free, I shall have all I want
And then for you I shall send
Feel the breath of suicide
See it's face
Love it, charish the memory, suicide
As I sit and wait I feel her grasp on my soul, on my mind
I feel her voice chanting her name 'suicide.... suicide'
She is for me she is my love, she is so kind
I know I shall be with her for ever in eternity, in her home
I know how sweet her voice, her touch

Turning Fifty
Having known war and peace
and loss and finding,
I drink my coffee and wait
for the sun to rise,
With kitchen swept, cat fed,
the day will quiet,
I taste my fifty years
here in the cup.
Outside the green birds come
for bread and water.
Their wings wait for the sun
to show their colours.
I'll show my colours too.
Though we've polluted
even this air I breathe
And spoiled green earth;
though, granted life or death,
death's what we're chosing,
and though these years we live
scar flesh and mind,
still, as the sun comes up
bearing my birthday,
having met time and love
I raise my cup -
