Looking at the reduced cart
I see a dented can
That's cheap
The wrappers off
And what's inside
Is a mystery
Should you take a chance
To find out what's inside
And buy the dented can
Or do you overlook it

That does have a wrapper
Because you do know
whats inside the one with the wrapper

I was sittin home on the west end
Watchin cable tv with a female friend
We were watchin the news, the worlds in a mess
The poor and the hungry, a world in distress
Herpes, aids, the middle east at full throttle
Better check that sausage, before you put it in the waffle
And while youre at it, check whats in the batter

I Met My Girl On The Other End Of My Penny Chew (Fun Poem 19)
Well, there I was in the candy store,
choosing my candy from the counter.
In she walked wings on her feet,
and her head, way up in the clouds.
I grabbed up a penny chew,
before I could even get the wrapper off,
she was on the other end of it.
I looked down my nose;
all I could see were teeth,
and two big eyeballs looking at me.
Well, there I was looking at what I had hooked,
the fish kept wriggling in front of me.
When along she came bold as brass,
and stood right there beside me.
I grabbed up a penny chew,
before I could even get the wrapper off,
she was on the other end of it.
I looked down my nose;
all I could see were teeth,
and two big eyeballs looking at me.
Well, I had had enough by now,
so I asked her to marry me.
Those big eyeballs rolled around,
and the teeth said, “Yes please.”
So here we are on our wedding night,
all tucked up in bed and I looked,
not a penny chew in sight.
I said, “No penny chews, my dear? ”
“I don’t believe it! Our wedding night and all he wants is a penny chew! ”

Office blocks, corner shops, traffic jams on every street, the same old rush around
Obsolete, Im a freak, in a show on brighton beach, as the snow comes down

Relationships shouldn’t be like love heart candy,
Open up wrapper and eat what sounds handy,
Its dandy how Mandy gets stuck in her holes,
Holes she dug herself, she dug like a mole,
The good ones taste bitter the bad ones taste nice,
The one that said I love you, you’ve eaten twice.
It’s just a love bug,
Yeah love is a drug,
It’s a nice warm hug in the sheets,
It’s an ice cold hand crafting deceit.
Chew them up just dip your hand in her mix up,
