Why At All I Came To This Earth

Why at all I came to this earth
It must be two years now
Since I am with you all
I really could not make out
How far my parents were happy
On my arrival
I knew I did not get many things
Which I wanted, rather needed
For a total growth
And emotional support
I started noting that
My parents did not like each other
Often they argued on matters
Which were beyond my perception
They too were running short
Of many things, probably
I have two elder sisters
From their talking
I came to know that
Our family was in great trouble
One evening my mom took me from home
And for the first time
We were travelling in a vehicle
Rushing us to a new place
My mom left me with some one
And that some one handed over me
To some other one
Thus I kept on moving from hands to hands
Leaving me to wonder
Where this changing hands will stop
I was a bit comfortable with the
Little girl, the last lap,
Who really attended to my needs
Better than even what my mom did
But some where some thing happened
I started feeling pain on my head
Which persisted and kept on increasing
I could not talk about this
But, cried, cried and cried
The little girl attempted to comfort me
But, it did not relieve my pain
The girl became angry with me
And started beating me
I could not register what went on further
I was in a new environment
Definitely much cleaner and better
Than any of the places I lived so far
All in white
People were attending to me
And giving me what all
They feel I needed
But, here I could not move
All the time in bed
I used to think how nice it will be
If I could spend all my time like this
Things did not happen that way, though
As I could see myself from the above
All these people in white
Keeping busy around me in the bed
I tried to tell them
See, here up, I am very much here
I know, this is death
As my elder sisters told me
You will go up and up
To God's caring hands
Once you die
I am going to Him is what
I understood
But then, tell me
Why at all I came to this earth

To Every Girl

To every girl that's said, 'Sex CAN wait'
To every girl that's said, 'You're handsome.'
To every girl that was never too busy to drive across town to see him.
To every girl that gives flowers and a card when he is sick.
To every girl who has given him flowers just because.
To every girl that said she would die for him.
To every girl that really would.
To every girl that took time to do what he wanted to do.
To every girl that he cried in front of.
To every girl that holds hands with him.
To every girl that kisses him with meaning.
To every girl that hugs him when he's sad.
To every girl that hugs him for no reason at all.
To every girl who would give their jacket up for him.
To every girl that calls to make sure he got home safe.
To every girl that would sit and wait for him for hours
just to see him for ten minutes.
To every girl that would give her seat up.
To every girl that just wants to cuddle.
To every girl that reassured that he was handsome
no matter what.
To every girl who told her secrets to him.
To every girl that tried to show how much she cared
through every word and every breath.
To every girl that thought maybe this could be the one.
To every girl that believed in his dreams.
To every girl that would have done anything
so he could achieve them.
To every girl that never laughed at him
when she told him her dreams.
To every girl that walked him to his car.
To every girl that gave her heart.
To every girl who prays that he is happy
even if she is not with him.

...This one bulletin is for you...

Not many girls appreciate nice guys anymore...
And because of this, there are not many left out there...

I guarantee 90% of the women on your page will not re post this because they care more about their image

If you are a nice girl re post this with 'We're a Dying Breed '

If you are a guy that thinks every girl should treat a guy this way
re post this with: 'To Every Girl...'

What You Got

The way your body keeps moving
Is something that makes me weak
Lets start our own little secrets
For just you and me to keep
Too late to come off shy now
You've already gone this far
So baby make your move, take charge
Show me what you got for me
Oh no
(Girl)
Is that your hands, (your hands), rubbing on me
Oh no
(Girl)
Oh no
(Girl)
Is that your hands, (your hands), ooh on me
Oh no
(Girl)
Is that your hands, (your hands), rubbing on me
If so
(Girl)
If that's your hands, (your hands), then tell me what you got for me

Your Move

Written by terry shaddick and steve kipner, 1983
Found on your move and the very best of america.
I don't understand it 'cause you won't say yes
But you don't say no
Sayin' no we shouldn't you keep holdin' out
But you don't let go
I'm givin' up on trying
To sell you things that you ain't buying
It's your move (your move)
I played all of mine
Time (ah) is running out
Make your move (your move)
Or we can't go on
Till (ah) you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
You're giving me the business with that old come on
But you don't come across
You get me so excited don't you know you're such a tease
When i think you're gettin' hot, you're not
(oo) so what's the problem, what's wrong
This kiss and miss you know it can't go on
It's your move (your move)
I played all of mine
Time (ah) is running out
Make your move (your move)
Or we can't go on
Till (ah) you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
(know it can't go on) go on
I'm givin' up on trying now it's (your move)
Girl, if you ain't buyin' now it's (your move)
I gave it all i got now it's (your move)
I thought you were hot but you're not so it's (your move, your move, your move)
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine
Time is running out
Make your move (ah, oh)
Or we can't go on
Till you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine
Time is running out
Make your move (ah, oh)
Or we can't go on
Till you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine

I'VE NEVER KNOWN...by talile ali

I'VE NEVER KNOWN A GIRL AS BRIGHT
I'VE NEVER KNOWN A GIRL AS TRUE
I'VE NEVER KNOWN A WOMAN WHO
MAKES ME FEEL THE WAY THAT YOU DO

I'VE NEVER KNOWN A GIRL SO SIMPLE
I NEVER KNOWN A GIRL SO KIND
ALWAYS GIVING STRANGE THINGS TO PEOPLE
WHENEVER SHE FEELS SHE HAS THE TIME

NO MATTER HOW I TRIED TO DISCOURAGE
HER FROM JUST PLAIN GIVING THINGS
THIS BABE JUST CAN NOT FIGHT HER NATURE
IT'S IN EVERY THING SHE BRINGS

SO IT'S I WHO NEEDS TO BE CHECKED
CAUSE I SEE THAT SHE'S ALL GOOD
SORRY I JUST DIDN'T GET IT
SHARING HER CARING IS UNDERSTOOD

Mpho She Was Named

Let me take u tru the story of a girl called Mpho
Lost both her parents in a car accident
An Angel beautiful, smart kind and decent
But her ordeal started when she moved in with her uncle
She neva thot life cant be much harsher
Cos all he eva did was rape and abuse her
She needed a way out an escape tunnel
Lifted herself up ran away
found herself in jozi the concrete jungle
A lonely soul in hell, she knew no one
She needed cash met a girl
Who told her the fast way to get wud be for her to sell her flesh
For Mpho it was neva an option so she started doing promotions
She couldn’t even pay her rent or let alone save a cent
The tragedy of her life was soon to manifest
One night out she decided to seduce a man
Starting to realize that reality needed her to have a plan
Slept with the man, tears dripping down her face
she thot she cud handle the pain
Feeling his thrust in her again and again
In the morning she felt selfless and used
How much different was this from the time she was raped and abused
Her dignity was demolished and her morals just vanished
She cried harder then the day both her parents perished
Saw her life vanquished along with her goals
She was just a living corpse all hallow with no soul
At first it hurt she cud not face herself in the mirror
But the more money she got the more she felt superior
Is this the same girl who dreamt of being a positive public figure?
Dat angel had sold her soul to the devil
Not to different from the day satan walked out of heaven
Lived her life, like she was a true rebel
But the only person she was killing was herself
She fell pregnant and didn’t know what to do
Neva wanted to abort and neva wanted to keep it to
Drinking everyday hoping that she will miss carry
Not being able to sleep
Hearing mama’s voice say the man who makes u pregnant
shud be the one u wanna marry

Edgar Lee Masters

Elsa Wertman

I was a peasant girl from Germany,
Blue-eyed, rosy, happy and strong.
And the first place I worked was at Thomas Greene's.
On a summer's day when she was away
He stole into the kitchen and took me
Right in his arms and kissed me on my throat,
I turning my head. Then neither of us
Seemed to know what happened.
And I cried for what would become of me.
And cried and cried as my secret began to show.
One day Mrs. Greene said she understood,
And would make no trouble for me,
And, being childless, would adopt it.
(He had given her a farm to be still. )
So she hid in the house and sent out rumors,
As if it were going to happen to her.
And all went well and the child was born -- They were so kind to me.
Later I married Gus Wertman, and years passed.
But -- at political rallies when sitters-by thought I was crying
At the eloquence of Hamilton Greene --
That was not it.
No! I wanted to say:
That's my son!
That's my son!

I Am Not that Girl...

I am not that girl
You once new
I am not that girl that
Ran every time life gave her troubles
I am not that girl
That needed a boost of courage from a line or drink
I am not that girl
Who cried every time you said goodbye to her
I am not that girl
Held on every word you said to her
I am not that girl
Who begged for your approval
I am not that girl
Who did not know right from wrong
I am not that girl.
Who mind was cloudy with shame of the past
I am not that girl
Doped up
I am not that girl
Who walked around with eyes closed
I am not that girl

A Girl Like You

You go to sleep, I want to sail in your hair
And when you speak, you know you got to make sense
You want to say that it's me you know less
I say a girl like you, she was born to be blessed
My hands are yours, and you can take them from me
And take my mouth, I have nothing to say
I want to fly to some other place
I say a girl like you, she was born to be kissed
Born to be kissed
One thousand times and your sisters too
One thousand times, a girl like you
You're gonna say that you want to be free
But when you fall, you'll know you'll fall back to me
You want to fly, and there's no disgrace
I say a girl like you, she was born to be blessed
My hands are yours cause I don't know how to pray
Take my mouth, I have nothing to say
I lift my heart up to a higher place
Up to a girl like you, who was born to be kissed
Oh, born to be kissed
One thousand times and your sisters too
One thousand times, a girl like you
One thousand times and your sisters too
One thousand times, a girl like you
One thousand times and your mother too
One thousand times, a girl like you
One thousand times and your sisters too
One thousand times, a girl like you
Aw-w-w-w, yeahhhh
And your sisters too
One thousand times, a girl like you
Ooooh, one thousand times and your sisters too
One thousand times, I said a girl like you
Ooooh, one thousand times and your sisters too.

Boy/girl

Boy-girl, boy-girl
When a boy meets a girl
Boy-girl
Finding out
Im finding out the things
That Ive been talking about
Im finding all the things
That Ive been missing out
Finding all the things
I lose my mind
Sometimes fall behind
You and I we live on the big ship
And time goes by
You make up and I believe a ladys lie
The skinheads call it strawberries and cream
Sometimes I scream
Boy-girl, boy-girl
When a boy meets a girl
Boy-girl
We go out
A picture or a disco or a roundabout
I walk you home, I hold you there
Youre giving out
I open doors so I can shut your face
Know your place
Boy-girl, boy-girl
When a boy meets a girl
Boy-girl
You can take me in your hand
Stand back, leave me, come in
Up and down and all around
You will sideways to the ground
Boy-girl, boy-girl
When a boy meets a girl
[repeat until end]

Do any of you know

A man and a woman
Came to my place one evening
I was playing with my dad
In the lawn in front of my home

These people got down
From the car
And my dad helped them
Unload a number of luggages

They approached me and
I was able to recollect
I have seen them somewhere
But quite long back

Not an issue
They were all kind to me
And they missed not an opportunity
To hug me and hold me on their shoulders
They did a lot to my mom
Especially while she was feeding me
As I was fussy about eating
They were with us for long

I started enjoying their company
And there were a number of evenings
When my mom and dad
Would silently disappear
Leaving me under the care of these visitors

I developed intimacy with them
They, for that matter, enjoyed
Taking care of me
I used to even feel that
These guys are better than my parents

These elderly people
Never scolded me nor threatened me

It looked to me they love me
The same way my parents do
Gone a number of days like that
I am in comfort
With all the love, care and attention
Of my mom, dad and these people
Despite repeated training
And insistence from my parents
I was not able to call these people
Grandma and Granpa
These people accompanied
me and my parents
Wherever we went in my dad's car

One fine day
There was a lot of discussions
Between all the elders at home
And there were preparations
As if some people are going somewhere

We all boarded the car
With huge luggages
And my dad was driving
We reached a place
These luggages were unloaded
I was put in a stroller
And the elderly woman
Left the scene pushing me in my stroller
And the other visitor
Came along

A number of things happened

I just then noticed
None of my parents
Went with us

It is now a week's time
I have not seen my dad or mom
But I hear them talking to me
Over the phone or the computer

It is sure I am not going to see them
For quite some days to come

Why worrying or crying
Over the absence of my parents
I am now settling with these visitors
Who took me away from my parents
But for what purpose
I do not know yet

Why me to be separated
From my mom and dad

Do any of you know

helping my mom

Boy And Girl

it was your basic love and death story
a boy and a girl met and thought it was going to last 4 ever
turns out nothing lasted that long
the boy left the girl claiming he no longer loved her
the girl slid down to the floor and cried until she could'nt cry any more
the girl avoided the boy no matter how much he tried to talk to her
the boy was sad. he never meant to really hurt her
but he did anyway
the girl commited suicide
the boy lived but cried until he died

Diving In The Deep End

Some people
Don't worry
'bout nothing
Don't know what's going on
I'm not one
Who can't say they're sorry
I just care what's going on
There's more important things
Than making sure your watch looks just right
And second hand opinions
Don't make you look any smarter
Don't you think
Don't you think
Don't you think that maybe
it's time , yes it's time
Time you started thinking
Time you started thinking
And don't just sweeten up the taste
Brother shoots brother
But meanwhile you're fixing up your face
You're not affected by the truth
Unless it's on your doorstep
Deodorise your paradise
No point in getting crazy
Don't you think
Don't you think
Don't you think that maybe
It's time , yes it's time
Time you started thinking 'bout things in the back of your head
Someone said before you turn a blind eye
Hear a bell ring sex sells everything
But I don't buy it so don't try it
Sleeping in the small world head in the sand
Better wash your hands , make a new plan
There's more important things
Than making sure your shoes just walk right
Ignore reality there's nothing you can do about it . . .
The clothes you wear don't make the man
It's just another party
(Chorus)

The Girl With The Weight Of The World In Her Hands

She wont recover from her losses
Shes not chosen this path
But she watches who it crosses
Maybe move to the right
Maybe move to the left
So we can all see her pain she wears
Like a banner on her chest
And we all say its sad
And we think its a shame
And shes called to our attention
But we do not call her name
The girl with the weight
Of the world in her hands
Cause were busy with our happiness
And busy with our plans
I wonder if alone she wants it
Taken from her hands
But if things didnt keep getting harder
She might miss her sacred chance
To go a consecrated martyr
The girl with the weight
Of the world in her hands
I wonder which saint
That lives inside a bead
Will grant her consolation
When she counts upon her need
It makes us all angry
Though we feign to care
But who will be the scale
To weigh the cross she has to bear
The girl with the weight
Of the world in her hands
Is the glass half-full or empty
I ask her as I fill it
She said it doesnt really matter
Pretty soon youre bound to spill it
With the half logic language
Of the sermon she delivers
And the way she smiles so knowingly
At me gives me the shivers
I pull the blanket higher
When Im finally safe at home
And shell take a hundred with her
But she always sleeps alone
The girl with the weight
Of the world in her hands
I wonder which saint
That lives inside a bead
Will grant her consolation
When she counts upon her need
It makes us all angry
Though we feign to care
But who will be the scale
To weigh the cross she has to bear
The girl with the weight
Of the world in her hands

From a biologically-not-belonging daughter

I was born to a couple
Who, probably did not want me
Left me in an orphanage

Even before I was born
And when I was a fetus
I passed through uncomforting
Situations, when my
Biological parents
Had a lot unpleasantries
To exchange
And it did not give me shock
To know that
I am in orphanage

One day
A couple came
Chose me from
A lot of orphans
Each looking for
Love and care
And waiting for
Such caring couple

I am in a new environment now
Both my biologically-not-belonging parents
Pouring love on this
Infant, and presenting me to others
As their long awaited pride
They saw with awe
My little movements
Each stage of my growth
Brought to them immense pleasure
And they gleefully shared
The growth changes in me
To their friends and relatives
Every other day someone
Visited me, invited me to their waiting hands
Watched this little me with wonder
And showered their affectionate blessings

The care of this
Deserted and disowned little girl
Saw its peak when my “parents”
Arranged for my first birth anniversary

I was decorated with earring
Though pained initially
I am proud of this, as this is the symbol
Of their love

I could not keep a count of how many
Attended to me
Assumed kidding roles to amuse me
And make me smile
With my four incision teeth exposed
Many a gift and lot of love
I felt for the first time
That this earth’s crest is held tight
Not because of any thing
But because of this love
Shown to a girl
Of unknown origin

It was not my birth anniversary
But was that of a
Self-imposed parenthood

Memorable Cries of Mine

We cry
When we are in pain
Pain can be physiological
Pain can be psychological
As the intensity of
Physiological pain abates
It is likely
The cry associated with it
Dies down
At a rate similar to the
Rate of abatement of pain
As we mature
We develop the tact of
Bearing a pain
Practically not crying over it

Psychological hurt
Stays long
As an emotional scar
And has the power to
Make you cry
And shed tears
Even after a long pause

As kids and in the total care of parents
We would have cried
To attract attention
And get things done
In our favour and the way we want
As we start understanding the realities
Of a practical world
We stop crying
But grumble within

A tearful cry is
An emotional outburst
Of a pain or a stir within
Most often
Cries get dry
As we plan ourselves
To act
To heal the hurt or pain
With a high level of maturity
We hardly see ourselves crying

Two cries of mine
Will stay ever in my memory
One, when I was in the total care of my parents
This cry is special to me
As I had no reason to cry
My mom, serving us food,
In that late evening,
Was in a mood to sing
Definitely, she should have sung
So well bringing out excellently the modulations
Associated with that tune or raga
Probably I was listening to her so intently
That my emotions got stirred deeply
And I started crying
Tears rolling down
My mom was able to read my mind
Continued singing
Despite one listener’s sobbing
Would have probably thought
The song would soothe me
It did something in me
Was it a feeling of helplessness
Was it ecstasy of being to able enjoy a unique emotion
I was not sure what made my cry
It was a long cry
And lasted
Even after she finished the song

The second cry occurred
When I was in a foreign soil
The task before me and my wife
Was to take away our grandson
From his parents
And keep him with us
Till the time they return to our land
This was a long drawn process
As we prepared ourselves very carefully
To the new responsibility of
Rearing the just two year old
Matching his temperament and unique needs
The day of departure came
All, except the kid
Were in a frame of mind
That allowed us not to exchange the usual pleasantries
As the time to depart approaching
I suddenly realized
That I would not be in a position to
Stand the pain of the kid
Who is getting separated from his parents
The emotional outburst came out
As I saw myself crying
Tears swelling, running down, wetting the T-shirt
My wife, daughter and son-in-law made attempts
To console me
But nothing helped
It took sometime for me to get over the pain
And to be confident
Of accepting the pain

This does not mean
I had no occasions earlier or in between to cry
I would have cried as many times as
Others of my age would have
But these two occasions were special to me
As in the first one
I had no definite reason for crying
And in the second
I felt so helpless that I would not be able to help even a kid

They Used Up All My Tears

They used up all my tears

I cried for the mother that left me

I cried for the man who took her away

I cried for the brothers I couldn’t see

I cried for the family that abandoned me

I cried for the people that hurt me

I cried for those that were supposed to protect me

I cried for the family I lost

I cried for the family I needed

But when I went to cry those tears of happiness

There was nothing left

The tears had all gone

Black And White So Alike

In my journey in life, I met many people and many issues
and I used many tissues, cried many tears thru the years.
I found people of color are similar to white and alike
in so many ways, they have feelings like white people
and maybe even more, people say to me why you bother
with people of color, I say people are people, color
and white are so alike, have feelings so alike and they
can bond like anyone else, talk for hours and laughs
about little things and big things.

People of color and white are so alike I am greatful to have
met special people in my life, make me feel good when I am down,
make me laugh when I cry, tell me its okay to feel sad, and thats
not bad to feel down sometimes because thats how it is, People of color and white so alike in many ways, they share sorrow and pain, cry
and laugh together, have long or short lunch or just walk
around corner its still something to talk about.

People of color and white so alike in many ways and thats what I say
and I will miss my friend now that she moved on, but our friendship stayed on....

August 05

M) The month of August
In the summer of 2005
In June I turned 18
My best friend moved back in state
In April I got a girlfriend since our first date
I met her last August
Later that year went to dust

H) I received a call on a hot summer day
The mood went a different way
She sounded like she cried
Like someone or something died

M) We started to change
Said I had become strange
We started to change
Hands against the wall

H) You wanted to escape
Cried, a victim of rape
I offered my help

M) What happened to the past?
A time that didn’t last
We changed too fast

H) You wanted to die
Then started to cry
I said I would help

You fought against the pain
Didn’t let your life dwain
You didn’t go insane
You won against the pain

M) Close to one year
Faced another fear
I broke your heart
I tore us apart

You chose a different fate
Tried to save us too late
I know there is nothing to save
I will bare this to my grave

H) M) I failed and succeeded
Helped you through his crime
We died in our prime
We are separate now
We were not meant to last
And you excepted your past

Too Late

Have you heard about the hollow man?
Too frightened so he turned and ran, from the vision that he cherished so.
Couldnt see it, so he let it go.
Everybody has a secret sin.
But everybody needs a chance to win.
Anyone could see Im a man thats sad and broken by the things Ive done.
But now Im sorry that I said goodbye.
And Im sorry cause its me thats crying.
I never finished what I started to, but Im just so sorry that Im hurting you.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
Now Ill never make a new beginning,
And Ill never stop the pain from winning.
Nothing matters to me anymore now.
Ive lost the things I was fighting for.
And now Im sorry that the dreams are gone,
And Im sorry cause Im not the
One who comes running when you need me so,
Cause Im the fool thats let you go.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
All the tears of pain are falling down, (oh, oh, oh, oh).
All the tears of pain are falling down, and you know...
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
But its too late...too late...its too late...
