Try A Cry
Crying is an emotional outburst
Of a discomforting situation
Accompanied by shedding tears
And sobbing, which may last longer
Maturity demands that we check our cry
As it showcases our weakness
Factually speaking crying can strengthen you
Since you expose your emotions the best way
While crying
Crying out has a potential to dilute
The emotional impact on you
Yes, you are well advised to cry
To handle a perceived problem better
Children cry
These cries are instantaneous and
Immediate in response to most often
A physical discomfort
As we advance in age, we manage well
To stop or abstain from crying
Girls and women cry out more readily
Than boys and men
Examine yourself as to when
You cried last time
It is a demonstration of perception of
Utter helplessness
You may guise in laughter, anger
But the real you can be seen in your cry
Cries draw more attention than
Expressions of other emotions
Cries may make others understand better
Cries have the potential to bring out
A notable mental balance
Cries may accompany ecstasy among some
Triggered by an overwhelming accomplishment
Know that you cry not because you are weak
But because you want to strengthen yourself
Fail not to cry
If you feel the situation demands
Fear not to cry as it may shield you against threat
I wish you do not come across
A tough and demanding situation demanding a cry
In the same breath I want you to note that
Nothing is more soothing than a cry
Try a cry
Next time if you need to cry

Memorable Cries of Mine
We cry
When we are in pain
Pain can be physiological
Pain can be psychological
As the intensity of
Physiological pain abates
It is likely
The cry associated with it
Dies down
At a rate similar to the
Rate of abatement of pain
As we mature
We develop the tact of
Bearing a pain
Practically not crying over it
Psychological hurt
Stays long
As an emotional scar
And has the power to
Make you cry
And shed tears
Even after a long pause
As kids and in the total care of parents
We would have cried
To attract attention
And get things done
In our favour and the way we want
As we start understanding the realities
Of a practical world
We stop crying
But grumble within
A tearful cry is
An emotional outburst
Of a pain or a stir within
Most often
Cries get dry
As we plan ourselves
To act
To heal the hurt or pain
With a high level of maturity
We hardly see ourselves crying
Two cries of mine
Will stay ever in my memory
One, when I was in the total care of my parents
This cry is special to me
As I had no reason to cry
My mom, serving us food,
In that late evening,
Was in a mood to sing
Definitely, she should have sung
So well bringing out excellently the modulations
Associated with that tune or raga
Probably I was listening to her so intently
That my emotions got stirred deeply
And I started crying
Tears rolling down
My mom was able to read my mind
Continued singing
Despite one listener’s sobbing
Would have probably thought
The song would soothe me
It did something in me
Was it a feeling of helplessness
Was it ecstasy of being to able enjoy a unique emotion
I was not sure what made my cry
It was a long cry
And lasted
Even after she finished the song
The second cry occurred
When I was in a foreign soil
The task before me and my wife
Was to take away our grandson
From his parents
And keep him with us
Till the time they return to our land
This was a long drawn process
As we prepared ourselves very carefully
To the new responsibility of
Rearing the just two year old
Matching his temperament and unique needs
The day of departure came
All, except the kid
Were in a frame of mind
That allowed us not to exchange the usual pleasantries
As the time to depart approaching
I suddenly realized
That I would not be in a position to
Stand the pain of the kid
Who is getting separated from his parents
The emotional outburst came out
As I saw myself crying
Tears swelling, running down, wetting the T-shirt
My wife, daughter and son-in-law made attempts
To console me
But nothing helped
It took sometime for me to get over the pain
And to be confident
Of accepting the pain
This does not mean
I had no occasions earlier or in between to cry
I would have cried as many times as
Others of my age would have
But these two occasions were special to me
As in the first one
I had no definite reason for crying
And in the second
I felt so helpless that I would not be able to help even a kid

Crying
I was all right for a while
I could smile for a while
But when I saw you last night
You held my hand so tight
When you stopped to say hello
And though you wished me well
You couldn't tell
That I'd been crying over you, crying over you
Then you said so long
and left me standing all alone
Alone and crying, crying, crying, crying
It's hard to understand
That the touch of your hand
Can start me crying
I thought that I was over you
But it's true, so true
I love you even more than I did before
But darling, what can I do?
You don't love me
And I'll always be crying over you, crying over you
Yes, now you're gone
And from this moment on
I'll be crying, crying, crying, crying
I'm crying, crying over you

Kd: but i saw you last night
You held my hand so tight

Roy: you wished me well
You couldn't tell that

Crying over you and you said "so long"
Left me standing all alone,

I was alright for awhile
I could smile for awhile
But I saw you last night
You held my hand so tight
As you stopped to say hello oh you wished me well
You couldnt tell that Id been
Crying over you
Crying over you
When you said, so long
Left me standing all alone
Alone and crying
Crying, crying, crying, crying
Its hard to understand
How the touch of your hand
Can start me crying
I thought that I was over you
But its true, oh so true
I love you even more
Than I did bfore
But darling what can I do?
For you dont love me
And Ill always be
Crying for you
Crying for you
Yes now youre gone
And from this moment on
Ill be crying, crying, crying, crying
Yes crying

Im Crying
Are you loving him just the way,
That I loved you when you walked away?
Whoa, Im crying, crying.
Do you need him just the way,
That I needed you when you left that day?
Whoa, Im crying, crying.
Crying, crying.
Do you think that hes so glad[? ],
Do you think he loves you so?
Do you think that hed be mad,
If you never come on home?
Im crying, crying, crying.
Now my days are spent in sin[? ],
Now that you are loving him.
Whoa, Im crying, crying.
If you suddenly realize,
That hes not the one to spend your life with,
Whoa, Im crying, crying.
Crying, crying.

Crying
Tears drip down
Like the falling of rain
Sheding pain and rage
Crying
Crying
Crying still
It's feels good
A release of emotion
To let it go
To get rid of all the anger
All the despair
Crying
Crying
Crying still
Some times you just need to cry

Baby, Stop Crying
You been down to the bottom with a bad man, babe,
But youre back where you belong.
Go get me my pistol, babe,
Honey, I cant tell right from wrong.
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying.
You know, I know, the sun will always shine
So baby, please stop crying cause its tearing up my mind.
Go down to the river, babe,
Honey, I will meet you there.
Go down to the river, babe,
Honey, I will pay your fare.
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying.
You know, I know, the sun will always shine
So baby, please stop crying cause its tearing up my mind.
If youre looking for assistance, babe,
Or if you just want some company
Or if you just want a friend you can talk to,
Honey, come and see about me.
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying.
You know, I know, the sun will always shine
So baby, please stop crying cause its tearing up my mind.
You been hurt so many times
And I know what youre thinking of.
Well, I dont have to be no doctor, babe,
To see that youre madly in love.
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying, stop crying, stop crying
Baby, please stop crying.
You know, I know, the sun will always shine
So baby, please stop crying cause its tearing up my mind.

Decades
By this time
She will be awake
As her clock would always chime
Missing breakfast that I make
She'll be crying
By this time
She unlocks the door
Sees my goodbye note in rhyme
And she throws it on the floor
She'll be crying
By this time
She walks by the well
Where we used to throw some dime
Wishing what we would not tell
She'll be crying
By this time
She waters the rose
Careful not to splash the grime
She'll recall the blooms I chose
She'll be crying
By this time
Laughter she will miss
Once, she play-acted as mime
Whereby I gave her a kiss
She'll be crying
By this time
I have gone ten years
She is now way past her prime
With a baby that she bears
And I'm crying.

A Daughter Cries
when a mother cries
her tears stab at her daughter's heart
as they plummet to the floor
when a mother cries
he daughter cries too
because her heroine is wounded and she doesn't know how or why
she cries because she cannot rid her mother of the pain
she cries most of all because she loves her mother
when a daughtrr cries because her mother cries,
her mother cries more
because her weakness has hurt her child
she cries because it hurts to know she's the cause of her daughter's tears.
she cries most of all because she loves her daughter
one the tears have ceased however
love remains
the love forever shared between a mother and her daughter

Crying
Some nights I go to bed Crying,
Those were the days I was really hurting.
I was never a fan of weeping,
Yet it was my solution to get what I was yearning.
I cried long tears in the darkness,
Because I did not want anyone to pity on my softness.
Always told crying was a sign of weakness.
Crying reminds me that I am human.
And it is okay to go through the emotions.
I cry when I am hurting,
I cry when I am mad,
The obvious one is when I am down and out and feeling sad.
The night is my sanctuary, the place where I can hide,
In the dark is when I cry.
I can feel the tears slowly trickling down my eyes,
Only then crying is the best thing that give an honest description of what I feel inside.
Crying is my release too difficult to say what is on my mind.
I cry because there is nothing I can say or do.
Feeling so powerless, so not in control.
I cry and it is true.
I am not super woman nor am I a super human.
I always try to avoid it,
But most times I can not help it.
I cry.....

America Cries
America cries.
Her economy dies.
Killed by people you can't trust.
America cries as we bite the dust.
America cries. Now come the whys.
No one could see it?
You've got to be kidding.
America cries as the Neros were fiddling.
The capitalist system is so out of hand.
The capitalists have taken over our land.
What's left for us?
Not much you see
except more taxes for you and for me.
Lending and spending, spending and lending,
the crying and weeping will be never-ending.
America cries and says its goodbyes
to times of financial prosperity.
The financial sting that's played like a game
stock market crashes?
foreclosures to blame?
No. America you played into the hands.
They've dumbed us down so no one understands.
America cries. Where were the wise?
They left long ago and will not return.
America cries for she refuses to learn.

An Unintelligible Cry
An unintelligible cry cancels the peace,
Frowning is not needed, it is appalling.
To a close lane the cries have come,
Now two cries have been witnessed.
Compelling and commanding, the voices
Suppose a brilliant weather of joy.
What handsome features are these!
They resound in the galaxy, after the noises,
And cries are beautiful afterwards.
This crying business estimated us as humans,
We live and die among the crowning achievements
Of sound and noise.

I am Crying Now
I am crying now,
For the children in the world,
Whose stomachs cry for food
In time of peace or war...
I am crying now,
For all the unborn
Who their destiny
They have no choice...
And therefore, a single voice...
I am crying now,
For all the women
Who systematically have been abused,
Instead of being loved
And with tenderness be seduced...
I am crying now,
For all the youth
Whose lives have been wasted
Due to bad companies,
Drug or alcohol...
Or change of lives...
I am crying now,
For all the mothers in the world
Who have lost their children
In an unfair foreign wars,
Found lost and in despair...
Facing a damage that can't be repaired...
I am crying now,
For all those who fell in love
And now brokenhearted,
Can't even find consolation
When they feel confused and lost...
I am crying now,
Because of those greeted ones
Who are polluting our planet
Without regard for our lives,
Destroying slowly our existence...
I am crying now,
And I will keep crying
Until I run out tears,
Feeling free to speak my mind,
Without any fears,
For the sake of humanity...

11 O'clock Tick Tock
It's cold outside
It gets so hot in here
And the boys and girls collide
To the music in my ear
Hear the children crying
And they know it's time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home
A painted face
And I know we haven't long
We thought that we had the answers
It was the questions we had wrong
Hear the children crying
And I know it's time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home

Dont Let The Sun Catch You Crying
Dont let the sun catch you crying
The nights the time for your tears
Your heart may be broken tonight
But tomorrow in the morning light
Dont let the sun catch you crying
The night-time shadows disappear
And with them go all your tears
But the morning will bring joy
For every girl and boy, so
Dont let the sun catch you crying
They say that cryings not a bad thing
But stop your crying when the birds sing
It may be hard to discover
That youve been left for another
But dont forget that loves a game
And it can always, always come again
So, dont let the sun catch you crying
Dont let the sun catch you crying
Oh, no, no, no, no

The Needle Lies
[ spoken ] nikki: Ive had enough and I want out!
Dr. x: you cant walk away now.
I looked back once
And all I saw was his face
Smiling, the needle crying
Walking out of his room
With mirrors, afraid I heard him scream
Youll never get away
Cold and shaking
I crawled down alleys to try
And scrape away the tracks that marked me
Slammed my face into walls of concrete
I stared, amazed at the words written on the wall
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle, it lies
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle when it cries...
Cries your name
Wet and raving
The needle keeps calling me back
To bloody my hands forever
Carved my cure with the blade
That left me in scars
Now every time Im weak
Words scream from my arm
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle, it lies
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle when it cries...
Cries your name
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle, it lies
Dont ever trust
Dont ever trust the needle when it cries...
Cries your name
