The power of advertisement
That little boy looks for his kitty cash holder
All around his house and at last finds it
Shakes the same to ensure the availability of his savings
Moves off the house, travels in a tiny little boat
Holding tight his belonging and keeping it
Off the sight of the old boatman
Walks off the boat holding the kitty tight with both his hands
Steeping up the bank
The bankman with all love and respect opens a locker
For our little hero and gives him all hopes for its safe custody
How I wished I am holding an account in that bank
A romatic couple move around a fridge
She empties an ice tray from the freezer
Throws a piece of ice onto her beloved
He wastes no time in reaching another ice tray
And in turn places an ice piece on the cheek of his beloved
And this ice throwing game goes on
Till the time they reach the bed
Where they understand that they have something more to do
Than just getting cool with the ice
And this realization comes to them because
They own that fridge
I would have gone for that cooling device
Had I not got one at home
That just above middle age man is riding a cycle
Under a tree from where not leaves,
But currencies falling one after another
The man moves on narrating the fund support
He enjoyed from the financial services
Depicted as the above tree
He got his daughter married
He got his son well educated
I curse myself for being not wise
In going for an investment in that firm
An old man gets an excellent medical treatment
In a well equipped hospital at the hands of experts
He is fine now
But he refuses to go home
As the hospital charges are so low
How I wish I soon fall sick
And get an opportunity to be treated there
For the pleasure of self
And of my people
A man passes away
But, his wife seems undisturbed
She is sure of all funds
For her to run her family
To educate her children
And very importantly, to get beloved daughter
Decently married to a very handsome boy
She stands before her husband's photo
With tears welling in her eyes
Thanking the prudence of her husband
In choosing such a considerate life insurance company
However, I wonder still why there are so many widows
Finding it difficult to make a living, leave alone
Their educating their children
And ensuring their good living
There are many such presentations
Which has no bearing on real life
And how fair it is on the part of those, who advertise
With so much deviation from actual happenings

Facing the Truth of Your Lies
Back in September of 2004 -
A couple of months after
My short stay in the hospital
For severe depression -
I tried to contact you to see
If you still missed me,
As you rudely told me
To leave you alone,
That you were married
And had moved, had your
Last name changed to
Your new husband's
And were expecting
A brand new child.
Two years later I learn
The truth through none
Other than that fake 'husband'
Of yours, who posted a message
In one of his hosting forums
Back in 2005 when he was 19
And you were 28.
And so I face the truth, that
You wanted me to face
So much - the truth that
You were always lying
To me and to others
About who you really are -
An insecure and confused
Woman with two children
Without a real father.
No, you were never married
To that geek, who's so good
With computers, who
Drives around fixing other
People's technical problems,
Putting 8-9 hours each day
And not going to school,
To support you and your
Two kids, who are not even
His in a biological or
Legal sense.
For you two were 'living in sin'
Together, as he puts it,
Being 'disowned' by the
Majority of his family
And his manipulative
Mother, who was using
Him to get back at his father.
Well, it looks like he traded
His mother for a new one,
Who's just as manipulative
And conniving.
And I wonder what you do
When he's not around?
Do you stay at home and
Play a fake 'good wife'?
Or do you explore new men
And new options?
Oh yes,
He calls you his fiancée now -
After two years of living together -
But knowing you, I wonder

Delaying Tactic...
Dr. Madonna has
a father who is an ex-general of the army
she is married but her husband has a zero sperm count
nevertheless, to save her husband from said predicament she adds,
that her cervix is also damaged based on an infection when she was
still 16.
her father is diagnosed with prostate cancer
stage 3B, and she is not actually that sentimental to entertain
the dance of sorrow,
he is 87 anyway and had lots of women during his
military career, and they are ten children in his wedded life,
and so there is nothing much to
sigh,
she accepts that death is a visitor but this time
it will be a timely one, the host is ready.
her Papa does not mention any possibility of a chemotherapy
or radiation and they seem to understand perfectly their silence
while they were riding that ferry that takes them from the city hospital
to their family home where everybody is waiting for
dinner

The boy and the apple tree
Once there was a boy who used to play under an apple tree
He played so happily that it was a joy to see
As he grew old, he got bore of playing alone
Toys and gadgets he desired to be his own
So, under the apple tree the boy muttered
‘Tree can you give me toys I now desire? ’
‘Toys I don’t have, my boy, ’ the tree replied
‘But my fruits you can sell to get your toys.’
So the boy took the fruits and went away
The tree waited for his return day after day
Many years had passed and the boy got older
He married a girl to be his wife and lover
The adult boy now needing a new house for his family
Went to the tree and asked for its advice earnestly
The tree glad to see him once again said
‘My branches will be sufficient to make your nest.’
To these words the adult boy listened
And took all the branches away with him
With these he constructed a house for his family
Where he lived for several years happily
One day, the boy now a fully mature adult thought
‘It will be wise to travel around and sail the sea across’
So, he went to the now old apple tree and asked
‘Tree, can you tell me, a boat, where I can get? ’
The tree which was happy to see him again sighed and said
‘Though I am old, my stem you may take if you want’
On hearing this, the guy cut the tree down
And made a large boat, which was fine and strong
Many years had passed and the guy now became an old man
Tired from his adventures across the sea and land
He went and saw the apple tree once again
Which was now but a stump nobody would want
The old stump on seeing the old man cried
‘My old boy what can I do for you this time’
The old man on hearing this softly replied
‘I just want to lean against you till the end of my life.’

I was the daughter of Lambert Hutchins,
Born in a cottage near the grist-mill,
Reared in the mansion there on the hill,
With its spires, bay-windows, and roof of slate.
How proud my mother was of the mansion!
How proud of father's rise in the world!
And how my father loved and watched us,
And guarded our happiness.
But I believe the house was a curse,
For father's fortune was little beside it;
And when my husband found he had married
A girl who was really poor,
He taunted me with the spires,
And called the house a fraud on the world,
A treacherous lure to young men, raising hopes
Of a dowry not to be had;
And a man while selling his vote
Should get enough from the people's betrayal

It isn’t everyday one makes an order, throws out the past
Goes through the piles of old papers
And sees here a missed opportunity there another time of life
Which one has long forgotten
Throwing most of the business papers away
And holding on to most personal things
One finds letters one did not answer
And dreams one did not begin to realize
Pictures are most painful
People no longer here
Loved ones in youth
Oneself as one was and will never be again
A life in these things
And almost gone
Cancelled bank books
Money one had once and no longer has
Love and people who were once one’s whole life
And are now strangers
The children
In so many different ages and times
The children no longer children
The past too too much past

My existence
start from a little piece of seed...

This is my house!
I support it with two hands,
Liken the one, my father once owned.
And when I got married,
And I took me a bride,
My house, became our home.
I'll fight for the rights,
For which it stands,
To shelter, my family and I,
To protect ourselves,
And to raise our family,
And for that, I would surely die.
Though it may not be a castle,
It may not be a mansion,
But of its four walls I am proud.
For many memories are here,
Many hopes and dreams lie there,
For this is my house, our home.
