Serve Others
All our efforts aim at
Improving the level of happiness
At individual levels
Hardly we find time
To put in efforts voluntarily
And selflessly towards
Even slightly improving
The level of happiness of someone
Totally unknown or a stranger
It need not always be a grant of fund
Or an offer of alms
A push of an automobile experiencing
Starting trouble
An extending of an arm to hold
A tumbling person
A word of kindness
To a kid who just fell, stood up
And preparing to run
Helping a co-passenger by passing on
His or her change to a bus conductor
And get back the travel ticket
Giving the right direction
To a path finding stranger
Helping a blind cross traffic
Offering to hold a baggage
Of a troubling kid's mother
A number of similar others
Are also known as service
You may not have marked how many of others
Came to your help even without your asking
If you get habituated
To serving others
You stand a chance of realizing your worth
You stand a chance of stepping into a spiritual path
You stand a chance of receiving divine guidance
You stand a chance of becoming a good leader
Your serving others voluntarily
Really amounts to your paying rent
For the house, even if it is your own, you live in
As many a people with many a talent
Built that and gave the shape it has
So, do serve others
Counting not on the feathers
The service is going to add to your crown
As the very opportunity you got to serve
Is itself a crown

Dont Stand Another Chance
Standin at the edge of time bout to lose my mind
cause you try to take him away from me, I wont let it be
You just walk into my life and try to take away my only prize
But you better give credit cause his love is right here for me
You dont stand another chance
You dont stand another chance
You dont stand another chance
You dont stand another chance
He belongs to me, just wait and see
Take him in my arms, give him love, not too much of me
Nothin you can do or say to make him look your way
So you better give credit cause its gonna come walking my way
You dont stand another chance
You dont stand another chance (ohh)
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand baby)
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand)
You dont stand another chance
Sit and wait at home bout to leave me alone (I know baby)
Youll be with him when hes up, not down, to keep him on the ground
Let me tell you something, its true, hes not in love with you
So you better give credit cause its nothing coming down your way
You dont stand another chance (not a chance, baby)
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand, baby)
You dont stand another chance (baby) you dont stand another chance (you dont stand)
Well, you know somebodys gotta lose
We all cant win... maybe next time, okay
You guys are confusing
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand)
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand, baby)
You dont stand another chance (you dont stand, baby)
You dont stand another chance (another chance)

We Stand A Chance
Stand back from me honey
Because I dont know what I might do next
No Im surprised by this, frightened by this
Nothin ever got me so out of my head, baby
We stand a chance
We stand a chance
Yeah, and I could be wrong, but you never know
We could stand the chance of a real love
Oh, God knows I love you
God knows I do,
Baby will you let me just prove it to you
Come here to me baby, come here to me now
I wanna talk to you, talk to you
And tell you somehow, that
We stand a chance
We stand a chance
Yeah, and I could be wrong, but you never know
We could stand the chance of a real love
Im so moved, Im so changed
My whole world is a fountain of flame
We stand a chance
We stand a chance
Yeah, and I could be wrong, but you never know
We could stand the chance of a real love

A Helping Hand
In the distance a lonely bell,
tolls a solemn beat,
for a weary stranger,
who has lost a foothold,
on life’s road that’s steep,
but with a helping hand,
he can get up to his feet again.
Whenever we feel troubled by life’s many toils,
and feel we have been beaten
beyond anyone’s repair,
exhausted by circumstances,
over which we have no control,
but know that with a helping hand
we could make another stand.
Therefore, on our life’s journey,
if we chance to meet a weary stranger
who could use a helping hand,
let us hold out ours,
to give him the strength to carry on.
In doing this kind deed,
he may return the favour in our time of need.

Don't Stand Another Chance
Don't Stand Another Chance
Standing on the edge of time
Want to lose my mind
'Cause you tried to take him away
From me - but I won't let it be
You just walk into my life
And try to take away my only prize
But you'd better get ready 'cause
His love is right here with me.
You don't stand another chance
You don't stand another chance
Take him in your arms - he'd never
Want to

Ghost Of A Chance
Victor p. young / bing crosby / ned washington
I need your love so badly
I love you oh so madly
But i don't stand a ghost of a chance with you
I thought at last i found you
But other loves surround you
And i don't stand a ghost of a chance with you
If you'd surrender
Just for a tender
Kiss or two
You might discover
That i'm the lover
Meant for you
And i'd be true
But what's the good of scheming
I'm dreaming
For i don't stand a ghost of a chance with you
Cuz i don't stand
A ghost of a chance
With you

Where We Stand
[Intro - Chorus]
Is it too soon to love you
Why do I believe it's perfect
Could it be I'm scared to take a chance
Think that we are moving too fast
And I don't know where we stand (I don't know where we stand)
[Faith]
Today you said some things to me
That made it plain for me to see
And now I do believe
That there's a chance for you and me
Elated I would be
If it became reality
I'll put away my fears
Cause only fait brought us here
[Chorus]
Is it too soon to love you
When i just meet you the other day
Why do believe it's perfect
Enspired by all the things you say
Could it be I'm scared to take a chance
Think that we are moving fast
And I don't know where we stand (I don't know where we stand)
[Faith]
It's just a few days but I'm open wide
Or maybe I should take my time
I think where moving fast but I want you bad
My mind is telling me one thing
But my body says another
I wanna be your lover
[Chorus]
Is it too soon to love you
When I just met you the other day
Why do I believe it's perfect
Enspired by all the things you say
Could it be I'm scared to take a chance
Think that we are moving to fast
And I don't know where we stand (I don't know where we stand)
[Faith]
It's hard to figure out
In the back of my mind there's so much doubt
Why do I look for clues
When there's no reason to question you
It's only natural
I Just gotta wait and see
Will we ever be
Will we ever be
[Chorus]
Tell me if it's too soon to love
When i just met you the other day
Could it be that I'm scared to take a chance
Deep inside I don't know where we stand
Is it too soon to love you
When I just met you the other day
Why do I believe it's perfect
Enspired by all the things you say
Could it be I'm scared to take a chance
Think that we are moving fast
And I don't know where we stand (I don't know where we stand)
Is it too soon to love you
Why do I believe it's perfect
Could it be I'm scared to take a chance
And I don't know where we stand (I don't know where we stand)

Well Done
“Well done”, words we long to hear, as the time of Judgment is near,
To the fine and faithful servant, from the One, Who’s fully observant,
Of everything we do and say, as we live for Him on The Narrow Way,
Living each moment in His sight, as we attempt to be for God a light.
Soon we’ll stand at the Bema Seat, where our lives, God shall repeat,
As all our service, God will replay, after we moved from night to day,
Not the judgment of our salvation, but, service, by God’s Evaluation,
Showing the motives of our heart, from the time our service did start.
It shall be a time of tears and joy, when Divine Fire, God will employ,
Purging from all deeds the dross, when for Christ we bore our cross,
As hearts were deceitful at times, so we strayed, from God’s design,
Serving sometimes with fleshly lust, even when in God, we truly trust.
So all our hay, wood and stubble, shall be burned as spiritual rubble,
That’s all those deeds tainted by sin, in our efforts while serving Him.
While all the gems, silver and gold, God will have our eyes to behold,
As our service, rendered to be pure, for through the fire, it will endure.
Soon will come the end of the age, when God turns the spiritual page,
With the end of the Age of Grace, we shall see our Lord, face to face,
And so when we enter into Eternity, humbled by Christ’s pure Majesty,
We hope to hear from God’s Son, the two words spoken, “well done”.

Outside Chance
(Original by The Turtles - written by Warron Zevon )
You can try to please me
But it won't be easy
Stone walls surround me
I'm surprised that you even found me
Chorus:
And you don't stand an outside chance
(you don't stand an outside chance)
You don't stand an outside chance
But you can try
Whatever you do girl
You know you can't get through girl
Can't bring me down
Hang me up or even hang around
[repeat chorus]
I know you think you'll get me
I'm only flesh and bone
But you may as well forget me
'Cause my heart is stone
You better leave me alone
Stand an outside chance

One Night Stand
Let me tell you.....
Jennys getting her stuff in my room
Puts on her skirt and shes looking good
Six am and shes leaving soon
Says what a crazy night I had
A real good time
But her kiss tells me its goodbye
Just like nothing happened last night
But if I had one chance
Id do it all over again
One night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking for a one night stand
I dont think shes coming back for more
No no
Now Im left up in my lonely room
She left her underwear and her perfume
I never thought that it could be this good
And I still feel a little on my fingertips
Im trying hard not to feel rejected
Maybe the phone lines disconnected
But if I had one chance
Id do it all over again
I know it
One night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking for a one night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking
One night stand but Id do it all again for sure
Oh yeah
Baby like a blind man I rushed in
Now do I have the right to ask you,
Will you be coming back again?
One night stand I dont think shes coming back
One night stand I dont think shes coming back
One night stand I dont think shes coming back
One night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking
One night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking for a one night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking for a one night stand I dont think shes coming back for more
She was only looking
One night stand but Id do it all again for sure
I guess it was a one night stand
One night stand
I guess it was a one night stand
One night stand
I guess it was a one night stand
One night stand
I guess it was a one night stand
One night stand
I know it, yeah

One More Chance
This time, gonna do my best to make it right
cant go on without you by my s hold on
shelter, come and resque me out of this storm
and out of this cold, i need some one if you see her, tell her this for me
all i need is
Hold on
Lightning about to strike in rain only on me
Hurt so bad sometime it's hard to breathe
Oh why why
If you see her
Tell her this from me
All I need is
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
one more
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
One more chance for love
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
One more
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
And I would walk around this world to find her
And I don't care what it takes no
Why
I'd sail the seven seas to be near her
And if you happen to see her
See, tell her this from me
One more chance at love
Yeah yeah
One more chance at love
Tell her this from me
One more chance at love
Yeah yeah
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
Lovin' you
One more chance at love
I can't find
One more chance at love
Lovin' you
One more chance at love
Yeah yeah one more
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
For love
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
Yeah yeah I can't stop
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
Lovin' you
One more chance at love
One more chance at love
I can't stop
One more chance at love
Lovin' you
Aaow!
One more chance at love
I can't stop
Lovin' you...

Take A Chance
Words and music by bob seger
You take a chance on an airplane
You take a chance when you cross the street
You take a chance when you love somebody
When youre standing near the heat
You take a chance when youre honest
You take a chance when you tell lies
You take a chance when you trust somebody
When you look em in the eyes
Take a chance on me
Take a chance on me
Im exactly what you see honey
Take a chance on me
You take a chance when youre indecisive
You take a chance when youre aloof
You take a chance when you judge somebody
When youve really got no proof
You take a chance when you refuse to hear
You take a chance when youre unkind
You take a chance when you refuse to grow up baby
You end up left behind
Take a chance on me
Take a chance on me
Im exactly what you see honey
Take a chance on me
You take a chance when youre ruthless
You take a chance when youre cruel
You take a chance when you make a vow babe
To be nobodys fool
You take a chance when youre distant
You take a chance when you live inside
You take a chance when someone loves you
And you leave them with no pride
Take a chance on me
Take a chance on me
Im exactly what you see honey
Take a chance on me
Oh take a chance on me
Take a chance on me
Im exactly what you see honey
Take a chance on me

Take A Chance
(foster/lukather/newton-john)
Could it be were the perfect pair?
Have it all if wed only dare
I have dreamed of a night like this
Maybe you will end my loneliness
Meeting you was a dangerous thing
Cant control what is happening
Stood my ground, didnt run away
Trying hard to hide that Im so afraid
Take a chance, take a chance
Shall I take another chance on love?
Take a chance, take a chance
Shall I take another chance on love?
When it feels so right
That Im safe and warm inside
Take a chance and fall tonight
Guess my hearts on the borderline
Couldnt stand it not to work this time
Its hard to fight when it feels so good
If theres something, dont you think that we should
Take a chance, take a chance
Shall I take another chance on love?
Take a chance, take a chance
Shall I take another chance on love?
When it feels so right
That Im safe and warm inside
Take a chance and fall tonight

Last Chance
A cold day in december
And im still here alone
I look trough my window and I surrender
Should be gone
But I have no place to go
Chorus:
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go
If there were someone
Id hold her
If there was love
Id let it take me away
But I just stay here alone
Chorus:
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go
I feel nothing I feel no pain
I feel no joy nor hurt inside
I only have myself to blame
If I see that the worlds passed me by
Chorus:
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go
Last chance to get up
Last chance to go
Last chance to get up and go

The criteria for serving one's country should be competence, courage and willingness to serve. When we deny people the chance to serve because of their sexual orientation, we deprive them of their rights of citizenship, and we deprive our armed forces the service of willing and capable Americans.

Chinatown
Living and dying
In chinatown
Yes theyre living and dying down in old chinatown
You better look around
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown
Laughing and crying you know its a fact
Theyre not laughing they are crying
'cause they wont be back
Oh no you dont come back
Not from chinatown
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown
Chinatown, its a different scene
There are people there, they are so obscene
If you see what I mean
Then theyve sold you the dream
Down in chinatown
What goes up it must come down
Living and dying
There is no release
Living and dying
There is no relief
There is no beliefs
Not in chinatown
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown
Man, you dont stand a chance if you go down in chinatown

I Want To Be Me
when people turn and ask
'who are you'
all I say is 'I'm me,
I'm who I chose to be'
I'm not normal
I'm just me
I live and learn
I also make mistakes
I'm a mystery
to figure out
when you do though
let me know
I need to keep
searching for the girl
the little one
that I used to know
she was sweet
she was kind
but no looking back
who am I
I've fallen so much
I've learned not to trust
I've learned not to hide
but where do I stand
by the time I'm old enough
to figure this all out
it might be to late
I might've mist my chance
I don't know
who I am
all I know is
who I want to be
I want to stand out
I want to be me
I want to be a leader
I don't want to hide
I know now
that I need to find
my guiding star
then find the path
to be me
what does it mean
to be who I want
or to be who I am
I know that
all of my dreams
don't stretch too far
but far enough to hardly see
when will I find her
the one I'm looking for
the one with the dreams
the one I call me?

Stand Up For Love
Here I come again
Up against the wall
But if I dont give it everything I got baby,
It will come to nothing at all
Give it one more chance
Before I fade to black
Im fighting for my life yeah Im scared
But you know that I can never look back
They say I cant refuse
Ive got nothing left to lose
But if youre asking me to choose
Im gonna stand up for love
Baby once Im in, you know I play to win
I stand up for love
Cuz its all that I can do
I stand up for love
When I cut you down
Bet it hurt so bad
It can break your faith
And your soul like youre living in a world gone bad
When it comes back around
Rip your heart
Break you down
You gotta hold your ground
Babe, you gotta
Stand up for love
Its a chance I take
Its never too late
Stand up for love
Its the best that I can do
You gotta stand up for love
Cuz baby once youre in it, you gotta play to win it
Stand up for love
Baby Ill be good to you
Im thinking of the times when things were better babe
Im missing them, missing them
Well I never thought they would end
You know I cant refuse
I got nothing left to lose
If youre asking me to choose
Im gonna stand up for love
Its a chance Ill take
Its never too late
Stand up for love
Its the best that I can do
You gotta stand up for love
Cuz baby once youre in
Youve gotta play to win

Back Up
I hear the words you say to me
I see the way you look at me
I know what's on your mind so
Stand up get up back up now
Just stay away
I know the fear you hold inside
I know what's weighing on your mind
There's nothing you can do so
Stand up get up back up
You're reaching out just to be like me
But you've fallen short
Still you're following me
You had the chance to bring me down
But there's nothing left
So just stay away from me
You can't stand to see my face
To know you'll never take my place
There's nothing you can do but
Stand up get up back up now
Just stay away
I feel the hate you push on me
I see the things that you can't see
I know what's on your mind so
Stand up get up back up
It's not the things you say to me
It's not the things that I believe
You try to bring me down
So stand up get up back up now Just stay away

Helping Hands
You gotta believe we can change the world
Don't turn a blind eye to tomorrow's world
But on the good side looking out
Don't take for granted the silent shout
The hands of time are rolling past
To turn the tide, we must move fast
Let's share the hope and pull some strings
We hold the answer this vision sings
They're holding on
But for how long
Let's set them free
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, time to make a plan, don't sit idle
We are the key to the dreams
It's not as hard as it seems
No
Get up and put your hands together
All your helping hands
Oh yeah
We're three steps down, you're two steps back
No more widgin' and that's a fact
A call to arms, let's take a stand
It's up to you to lend a helping hand
They're holding on
But for how long
Let's set them free
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, time to make a plan, don't sit idle
We are the key to the dreams
It's not as hard as it seems
No
Get up and put your hands together
All your helping hands, yeah
We're the thunder in the storm
That brings the winds of change
Together we can overcome
And start a brand new day
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival (Yeah yeah)
Gotta take a stand, it's time to make a plan, don't sit idle (No, no, no, no)
Put your helping hands together rockin' on for survival
Gotta take a stand, c'mon make a plan, don't sit idle (Oh!)
