International Women's Day - 100th Anniversary

Let us bow before
The womanhood
This day, on the 100th anniversary of
International Women’s Day

Nature has endowed
The women folk
Patience,
Love and care
And above all that
The devout attachment
To anything
That belongs to them

They are designed to
Nurture relationship
With a tact
So that relationships are
Rightly maintained
And with a least sign of any strain

They are wrongly termed
As the weaker sex
But it is coined only those
Who are male chauvinists
Attempt is only to make them feel weak

Women are much stronger than what they look

Their kindness to humanity
Is the one that helps the race be on the move
And on continuity

As much as they know how to love
They know also know how to hate
They are framed to keep things together
They are also molded to throw things apart
They are mothers
They can also provide the care of fathers
They can encourage
And equally discourage
They wait and strike at the right time
They are loveable
They dissolve in embraces
They embrace to solidify a weakened confidence
They are less expressive
But turn out to be a volcano if they are to express
Something strongly undesired
They only can make a home
We, men, can only make a house
They are tradition guards
We, men, can be tradition traitors

They are sisters, wives, mothers, daughters and so on
But basically they are mothers
We, men are brothers, husbands, fathers, sons and so on
But basically we are only men

They proved to be better managers
Than what men did
As they demonstrated better empathy

They think beyond
They envision farther
They are organized better

And let us resolve
To see the womanhood
Just not the woman
And to respect
The great qualities a woman has
And all the rest like
Empowering them,
Educating them,
Enthusing them to independence, etc.
Will take care of it

Family of War

Every morning I awake I fall to my knees and pray.
God, please make the war in Iraq come to end.
There are too many fathers and sons come home
in pine boxes. There are too many mothers and daughters
doing the same. Leaving behind fathers and sons mothers
and daughter with a last memory of them waving goodbye.
There is too much blood and tears of fathers and sons mothers
and daughters being shed all in the name of peace.
God please let our leaders see how many families are dying
and that war can never bring peace. Only love can.
This prayer is my gun and God you’re the bullet I’m shooting
to end this Family of War.

Mothers Always Want Theirs Sons To Be Happy

mothers always want their sons to be happy
and so even if they marry someone
whom their fathers dislike
it is always them who settle for a compromise
and tell fathers to be flexible sometimes
not to hurt the hearts of sons

but sometimes when sons want something else
that only mothers understand
something that fathers cannot really compromise
mothers still compromise
and walk a mile farther
just to make their sons happy
and their sons leave them
to places that only mothers
by their loving hearts
know.

only mothers, yes only mothers,
and no one else.

ADORABLE ARE WOMEN AS MOTHERS (A Mother’s Day Acrostic)

Adorable are women as mothers!
Detestable when they can kill children;
Obtainable when purchased for a sum;
Reputable when they can reach great heights;
Amicable are women as sisters;
Believable are women when good wives;
Lovable are women as grand-daughters;
Enviable are women as daughters.

Acceptable when pining for some love;
Remarkable when sacrificing lots;
Exaltable when rearing children fine.

Worshipable for keeping peace at home;
Observable when attention-seeking;
Manageable when husbands earn enough;
Excusable for love of ornaments;
Notable for patience exemplary.

Accessible to children in their needs;
Sensible when fathers become drunkards;

Memorable for timely good advice;
Objectionable when pride and lust engulfs;
Terrible when seeking revenge on one;
Horrible as cruel mothers-in-law;
Enjoyable in love-making / romance;
Reliable amidst all kinds of strife;
Salvageable when shown some kind of love!

Daughters

I know a girl
She puts the color inside of my world
But she's just like a maze
Where all of the walls all continually change
And I've done all I can
To stand on her steps with my heart in my hand
Now I'm starting to see
Maybe it's got nothing to do with me
Fathers, be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers, be good to your daughters too
Oh, you see that skin?
It's the same she's been standing in
Since the day she saw him walking away
Now she's left
Cleaning up the mess he made
So fathers, be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers, be good to your daughters too
Boys, you can break
You'll find out how much they can take
Boys will be strong
And boys soldier on
But boys would be gone without warmth from
A woman's good, good heart
On behalf of every man
Looking out for every girl
You are the god and the weight of her world
So fathers, be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers, be good to your daughters too

Men Must Respect

Men must respect other men
Women must respect other women
Men and women must respect our children
And protect them so all can go to heaven.

I cannot fully fathom the unusualness of men
Mother Nature will remain eternally natural
Mothers will give birth to men and women
And the sky will forever be conventional.

Men must respect girls and boys
They are human too, not little toys
Women must respect boys and girls
Our tootses don’t belong to a world of swirls and twirls.

If we respect each other, our world will be natural
Loving, wonderful and exceptional
Love and respect are like fraternal twins
In such godly oasis, everyone wins.

Men must respect and care for each other
Women must follow a similar procedure
Life is beautiful, thanks to Mother Nature
Who always follows the Scriptures.

Our children need our help and divine lectures
Let’s love them and protect their future
Let’s chase the devils out of the manger
Let’s be brothers and sisters and love each other.

Men must respect other men
Men and women must respect our children.

The Women Of The World

The women of the World as people they are great
They give birth to the children and in so doing life create
In every woman ever born a nurturing soul you'll find
The mothers and the aunties a credit to Humankind.

All mothers and non mothers we ought to celebrate
The women of the World we tend to under-rate
Get rid of Patriarchy as such we do not need
History tells us that only to war the male kind us do lead.

The women of the World their praises we should sing
They have the gift of dialogue and that's a marvellous thing
'Tis not to give his life in war a mother raises her son
You seldom hear a woman sing of battles fought and won.

To the women of the World the toasting glass we'll raise
As the glue that binds humanity they are worthy of our praise
They are the unsung heroines of our World of today
The respect to them that is overdue to them we ought to pay.

Women I Know

Strong are the women
In my family.
Every last one...
Seem to have the strength,
To shadow some men...
As if they had none!

And f-i-n-e! Yes!

Beautiful with power.
Mothers who have raised children.
Some without their fathers.
To become themselves...
Strong and bright!
And dynamic in one's sight!

And yes...
They too,
Are f-i-n-e!

Some ask me 'why'...
I have no better half!
Why I am divorce?
And my relationships seem not to last!
I know the answer...
Of course!

Strong are the women
In my family.
Every last one...
Seem to have the strength,
To shadow some men...
As if they had none!
And the men in my family,
Are even stronger than some!

And...
Yes!
They too are f-i-n-e!

And I am left spoiled.
Wishing for one like them!
Not the men! !
But then...
These women I know and related to...
Are few in the market!
And I have stopped shopping...
For a companion to compare!
Beauty, strength and independence are rare.
And these women in my family have it all!
And even more to spare.

I would have to leave this Earth...
To discover someone not to compare,
To these women I love!
And we are related too!
This for me is so difficult.
For me to feel this...
Is so unfair!

However...
No burden is this do I bare!

But then..
To know so many women,
With qualities I like!
Cousins or aunts...
Of my blood 'everywhere'!
And joke,
I do not!
It's true.
Every woman I ever adored...
Has my last name too!

Yeeeessss!
God...
Please lift me from this curse!
hahahahaha
I can't like some I know...
Rehearse wedding after wedding,
After wedding after wedding!
Addicted to romantic delusions!

I know what I'll do!
I will move.
Build a hut in the Amazon.
Or the Congo!
And get it on...
With the monkeys!
Feeling free not to bother,
To ask for ID.

International Women's Day,2012

There are some things women should do,
As men simply cannot;
There are things that women can do,
But not as well as men.

There are some things women shouldn't do,
For they are harmful, sin;
There are many just women do,
Much better than most men.

Empow'r women and uplift them,
And make their plight better;
This half of human populace
If better, world's better.

Let poverty not strike women;
Remove their hunger pangs;
Give them all equal rights like men,
Save them from awful gangs.

Women are teachers naturally
For every child that's born;
They nurse their babies and protect,
Till dusk, from every dawn.

Women have beauty and contours
And for men, fit partners;
Women need love and care like all:
They aren't bought from a stall!

Mistrust

The mistrust spread over the world
Where does it first unfurl
From what cocoon does it uncurl
Do fathers mistrust mothers
Do mothers mistrust fathers
Do fathers mistrust sons
Do mothers mistrust daughters
Do we trust our own selves
If trust is not found at home
If mistrust is the legacy of home
Then what hope have we
That trust will be
Born into this place
Love of self and self alone
Brings to us this bone of mistrust
And enfleshes to its birth.

Also Love Those Foreign Others

Your world view.
And my world view,
Are two world views...
With many more too!

And their world view.
Is not our world view.
But unlike you...
Regardless of what's in our minds to think.
We ought to get together.

Respect our sisters and our mothers.
Our fathers and our distant brothers.
And also love those foreign others,
To us.
Who are like sisters and our brothers.
To us.
We've got to one day get together.
And not fuss.
To make our lives together better.

To make our lives together better.
Loving with a trust.

Respect the sisters and the mothers.
Do it we must.

Love, Respect, Trust

We men should treat women with respect, love and trust. All we think about is a woman body. We men should wake up to the real world. We men should treat women with respect and make her feel like she has a King. She should be treated like a queen not like sex toys. We men should also trust our girlfriend and wife. we should listen to them and make them feel special. Don't gain a woman trust just to get in those jeans. we should trust them because we care bout them. We need to also love a woman. We men should be in love with one woman and trust and respect them. We should see a woman as a human not our play toys. So let us treat a woman with respect, love, and trust and make her happy and we men should see how beatiful a woman is in their hearts. Woman Thou art Free

To be a woman there are certain characteristics that you embody
That set you apart, ain't nothing like a strong woman with a good heart.
Some say they curse the day God made woman, but only God understand that he created it
for us to see the good and the bad, life for some without a woman is really sad.
The woman was made to feel the pain and the man to work the land.
But in everything God had a plan.

Women have come a long way from the kitchen to the runway.
Women have broken down all barriers,
and have proven to be able to compete at all levels, so much that it marvels.
Women's long battle for equality and right have gotten them to unite.
Their strength and unity have given them the courage to embrace every opportunity
under the social and economical horizon;
they are now prospering over the men in the dozens.
They now take full advantage for all the times they've been denied passage.

Women have become leaders, more than conquerors,
strong educators, powerful motivators and labourers.
Yet women have not forgotten their role in the home, though some are not full-time.
A little independence is not a crime. But still they are able to make the house a home,
put food on the table, keep their lives stable
for at the end of the day, at home is where their hearts will always stay
so we thank God for Women's Day.

You Fill Our Hearts With Pride

The female of our species,
They're such a wonder to behold,
To be loved and cherished wisely,
They bring life to the fold.

Their loyalty and their wisdom,
Can never be denied,
When needed they'll be there for you,
A solution will be applied.

Women don't do walking away,
It's in their genes to care,
Don't ever underestimate them,
Or they'll leave you in total despair.

Contrary to what us men think,
They're more resilient than us,
They believe in solving problems,
Whereas we just make a fuss.

Women can do most anything,
They have a strong resolve,
They're up to any challenge,
It's around them we revolve.

So next time you see a woman,
See much more than a lover,
Look within that sensual beauty,
Never judge her by the cover.

They're not just wives and mothers,
But doctors and physcologists too,
They're the ultimate multi taskers,
There's nothing they can't do.

Treat them with the utmost respect,
Though with beauty they are adorned,
They can give you a terrible bite,
Hell hath no fury like a women scorned.

In a world that's dominated by men,
Well that's what women like us to think,
Remember it's from them our lives began,
Without them to the bottom we'd sink.

They truly are the ultimate being,
They're forever by our side,
Compassionate and yes they are all seeing,

Mothers And Daughters / Fathers And Sons

Neil Diamond - Mothers and Daughters, Fathers and Sons
And so they came with perfect schemes
And precious dreams that made them one
One by one
Oh, and there they stood lost in the haze
With spirits blazing like the sun
Mothers and daughters,
Fathers and sons
They held the light
Yes they did
And it shined all night
Oh, all night
And they took the blows
Yes they did
Never letting go
Oh no, oh no
Oh no
And so they came with perfect schemes
And precious dreams that made them one
One by one
Oh, look up and see the eagles fly
And fill the sky beneath the sun
Mothers and daughters,
Fathers and sons
You hold the light
Yes you do
And you've got the right
Oh, got the right
And you'll feel the blows
Yes you will
Don't you dare let go
Oh no, oh no
Said that we have the right
Yes we do
It's down in black and white
Oh oh, oh oh
And we made it so
Yes we did
And we won't let go
Oh no, oh no

Just One of Today's Thoughts

It's funny how we go through our life with all its hardships, tests, & disappointments. But we must realize that these things are just 'molding' tools. We're being molded by a Higher Power to become the people that He would have us to be.

WOMEN who are: positive, productive, & nurturing
independent, yet submissive
intelligent, yet willing to be educated
Women who are ROLE MODELS...
MOTHERS...
WIVES...
And God-Fearing Phenomenal WOMEN!

MEN who are: that protective provider
uplifting & positive
(and appreciative of women)
Men who are ROLE MODELS...
FATHERS...
HUSBANDS...
And God-Fearing Manly MEN!

And CHILDREN who are: individuals, yet adolescent
educated & respectful
(respected!)
Children who are ROLE MODELS...
PRODUCTIVE,
POSITIVE,
& PARTICULAR
God-Fearing Determined CHILDREN!
Thank You God! !

Barack Obama

The people we lost in Aurora loved, and were loved. They were mothers and fathers; husbands and wives; sisters and brothers; sons and daughters; friends and neighbors. They had hopes for the future and dreams that were not yet fulfilled. And if there's anything to take away from this tragedy, it's a reminder that life is fragile. Our time here is limited and it is precious. And what matters in the end are not the small and trivial things which often consume our lives. It's how we choose to treat one another, and love one another. It's what we do on a daily basis to give our lives meaning and to give our lives purpose. That's what matters. That's why we're here.

Do You Love Women? ? ?

Do you LOVE women? I mean, REALLY LOVE them?
I AINT talkin' prostitutes!
For the sake of daughters, sisters and mothers,
I AINT talkin' birthday suits!

Do you LOVE women? Including smart women?
The ones who earn more than you?
LOVE them beyond polished nails and red lipstick,
Beyond the latest hair-do?

LOVE them beyond the fleeting orgasm,
After the pleasure passes?
LOVE them beyond what they do for your body,
Beyond their tits and asses?

LOVE them, but know that no man may control them...
Love them with true expression.
And teach your sons from the very beginning
'She is not a possession! '

Do you LOVE women? I mean TRULY LOVE them?
Even in heels that are flat?
If you're not willing to LOVE and respect them...

You may prefer a doormat!

Or perhaps a blow up doll....

Mothers Pride

Oh she knows
She takes his hand
And prays the child will understand
At the door they watch the men go by
In the clothes that daddy wore
Mothers pride
Baby boy
His fathers eyes
Hes a soldier waiting for war
Time will come
Hell hold a gun
His fathers son
And as he grows
He hears the band
Takes the step from boy to man
And at the shore she waves her son goodbye
Like the man she did before
Mothers pride
Just a boy
His countrys eyes
Hes a soldier waving at the shore
And in her heart the time has come
To lose a son
And all the husbands, all the sons, all the lovers gone
They make no difference
No difference in the end
Still hear the woman say your father died a hero
In the name of God and man
Mothers pride
Crazy boy
His lifeless eyes
Hes a soldier now forevermore
Hell hold a gun till kingdom come
