Suddenly the heroine stops her conversation
And gets focused on an elderly blind person
Who is planning to cross the road
She rushes to him
And holds his shoulder
Guides grasping him very close
Narrates the blind man what all she sees
Including a woman beating her erring husband
A boy slipping over a banana skin
A drunk dancing to a song played in a tea stall
Making him enjoy the aroma of
A deep fried onion based snack
Getting ready in another roadside fast food stall
Pushing him safe and fast
An open manhole in the middle of the road
Insisting him to stop and listen to
The cricket score of a one dayer
Stopping him to caress the cheek of
Sweet little school going girl
And at last reaching a point
That meets a main road
Telling the blind man that
He should go straight on the left to reach
His destination
The shot was quick sharp touchy emotional
And to the point
That the heroine knows how to guide a blind
And at the same time how to make him enjoy
The happenings around
A thought flashed in me and was telling myself
If such a thoughtful guidance from a beautiful girl
Is forthcoming
I do not mind being a blind

The Daffy Duck

A daffy duck stood in the middle of the road.
She wasn't in a rush, so her time she took.
The approaching lorry driver wasn't happy,
And his angry fist at her he shook!

She soon became the main attraction.
People tried chasing her out of the way.
Soon, she was back on the pavement,
And was now safe and well again. Yay!

But people were walking towards her,
And, of the crowds, she was very scared,
So she ran back into the road again,
And at her, the next approaching driver glared!

She ran around in a blind panic,
Not knowing which way to go.
In and out of the road she ran,
Dashing this way and that, to and fro.

She halted all the traffic.
The wrong turn she'd taken by mistake.
I wished that I could catch her
And reunite her with her waiting drake.

The last sighting I had of her,
She was running off up the High Street,
As fast as her little legs could carry her,
And, boy, how fast could she move those feet!

The Heroine

The heroine stood up on the deck
The ship was out of control
The bow was being ripped to shreds
Men were fighting down below
The sea had pummeled the boat for so long
That they knew nothing but fear
And the babys in the box
He thinks the door is locked
The sea is in a state
The baby learns to wait for the heroine
Ohh, ohh, for the heroine
Locked in his defense, he waits for the heroine
The mast is cracking as he waves are slapping
Sailors roll across the deck
And when they thought none was looking
They would cut a weaker mans neck
While the heroine dressed in a virgin white dress
