Mortuary

That awful place
With blood red carpets
The color of death
Flowers everywhere
As if to say this
Is a happy place
I guess it is
A place of closing
Of peace to say goodbye
But to me that horrible place
Reeked of death and sorrow
Of tears shed and hearts broken
Laying in a casket
Cold and dead
I did not want my last memory
To be of that
I'm glad I didn't see it
Because everytime I would have
Thought of you
My first memory would
Be seeing you lay there
Unmoving
Lifeless
I miss you a lot
I'm still sad
And probably will be for awhile
But now your somewhere better

x21-Escape

-Jane Spencers

Why still cry? I chose to die,
I should have smiles tonight.
This place is none for bitter lies,
I thought i chose what's right.
I thought that death is an escape
from pain and all my fears.
I thought that death is all but peace,
but here, peace never cares.
I thought that pain would die with me,
that tears have no place here.
But pain endures...and tears endure;
eternal may they be?
I dreamed, i thought...i always thought
that death could set me free.
I wish I could just die again,
or lose my memory.
Are souls eternal? Is this my fate?
I hunger so for life.
Am I forever bound by death?
I thought it's my escape.

Saying Our Final Goodbye

Get your one last look
Your final goodbye
For this is the place where memory will live and then die
It will go with us, following wherever we go
It is the place that we've met and have come to know
You can return one day, with me or alone
But this place will be someone else's
Someone making their own memory here
They will stand here too one day thinking
Thinking of that day
That magical day
It came so fast
Left fast
and lingers on
Forever
Goodbye for now
If I come back too soon it will be in my mind
The place we met
Where our love was set
And your heart mingled with mine

Song: Memory Lake

Memory lake

Remember when we carved our names on the rail,
Back in our younger days.
Remember when we’d stay out late and talk,
until the sun found it’s resting place.

And we’d sit and watch the planes fly high and the birds fly low,
As we talk about our day.
Remember when we promised each other,
Some day we’d leave this place.

But I never knew,
Your wish would come true,
And you’d leave me alone,
But just so you know.

I’ll be picking the flowers and laying them on the water,
And watching them float away.
I’ll be picking up the stones and skipping them trying to,
break that record you made.

And I’ll be watching the sun as it sets,
Remembering never to forget,
Your face,
And the memory’s we made.

By the dock was our place.

Remember when our smiles shined and we crossed the line,
Every step that we’d take.
And remember when we’d laugh our troubles away,
Then make double just for laughter’s sake.

And we’d find a way to argue but in the end I knew,
That nothing could make us break.

We had our tears and had our trial, dealt with pain by open smiles,
Right there on memory lake.

But I never knew,
That your wish would come true,
And you’d leave me here all alone.

And who would have thought,
That a broken heart would be,
The closest I’d ever get, to snow.

I’ll be picking the flowers and laying them on the water,
And watching them float away.
I’ll be picking up the stones and skipping them trying to,
break that record you made.

And I’ll be watching the sun as it sets,
Remembering never to forget,
Your face,
And the memory’s we made.

On memory lake, oh,
Memory lake.

Don’t take it away, don’t take it away,
Don’t take away, memory lake, our lake.

I’ll be picking the flowers and laying them on the water,
And watching them float away.
I’ll be picking up the stones and skipping them trying to,
break that record you made.

And I’ll be watching the sun as it sets,
Remembering never to forget,
Your face,
And the memory’s we made.

On memory lake.

The Sylvan Grave

Lay me not, when I die, in the place of the dead,
With the dwellings of men round my resting place spread,
But amidst the still forest, unseen and alone,
Where the waters go by with a murmuring tone;
Where the wild bird above me may wave its dark wing,
And the flowers I have loved from my ashes may spring;
Where affection's own blossom may lift its blue eye,
With an eloquent glance from the place where I lie.
Let the rose and the woodbine be there, to enwreath
A bright chaplet of bloom for the pale brow of death;
And the clover's red blossom be seen, that the hum
Of the honey-bee's wing, may for requiem come:
And when those I have loved, ‘midst the changes of earth,
The clouds of its sorrow, its sunshine of mirth,
Shall visit the spot where my cold relics lie,
And gaze on its flowers with a tear-moisten'd eye—
Let them think that my spirit still sometimes is there,
My breath the light zephyr that twines in their hair,
And these flowers, in their fragrance, a memory be,
To tell them thus sweet was their friendship to me.

A Secret Place

Between life and death
There's another path
Some of us choose to live there
Away from life there's another place for broken hearts
A secret place that helps tired souls to find the peace within their selves
Thoughts and regrets all meet there
The place where I open the gate to meet the present with past
Away from crowd near to the God not dead or alive
The secret place its the loneliness to meet ourselves
Away from lovers aches
But with the memories no way to disregard to escape free
The secret place there I open my hidden aches
Away from blamers glance
My bloody wounds there take a bit rest

Goodbye

Album: One-Armed Bandit
Track: 11
Here by I return your love
I just wonna give it back
I am fading
The silence can be beautiful but also very cold
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
Cause one thing I know
Somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
goodbye
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
goodbye
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
The choises can be hard to make
Is it luck or is it love
I am waiting
I'm waiting for the voice inside me to tell me what I'm not
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
Cause one thing I know
Somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
Goodbye
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong
Goodbye
But somewhere out there there's a place where I belong

Imagine (2)

if you imagine
that this is the only place
we are destined to be

tall buildings
rushing cars
dusty pavements
artificial parks

i tell you, if this is the only place you believe
then you miss
the callings of truth

i still believe that there is another world out there
whose entrance is death.

when death touches you
do not shiver
welcome it and embrace it
with gladness
and peace

imagine that death is the door
that leads you
there

they call it heaven.
believe and be free and be happy
till eternity

Not a Good Place to Die

Not a Good Place to Die

Not a good place to die,
Airless room.
Blank walls.

Not a good place to die,
Here death hovers.
A disinfectant smell.

Not a good place to die,
Hid away from all.
Arid stark.

Not a good place to die,
No cool breeze.
Warm sun on face.

Not a good place to die,
Alone and scared.
Cold dark.

Not a good place to die
But die he did.
Non mourned.

Same Place, Same Time

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

The coffee’s hot
And the company is good
Conversation flows, as it should
A joke or two
And when all is said and done
We’re right back to where we begun

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

These crowded streets
I balance tight roped on the curb
Car screeches past, a scream is heard
De ja vu
Yes I’ve been here before
Time moves slowly as traffic stalls

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

Break

It was good
You were sublime
I’m so glad that we spent the time
Time is short
What we have is rare
Love is oxygen with you there

Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

Never Can Forget That Memory

Deep in the darkest
Part of my head
There is a memory
Of how I saw you dead
It sits there
Alone
In the shadows of depth
A memory of you
That I have kept
It wants to come out
Of this dark scary place
But it is a memory
I could never erase
It sits there
Alone through day and night
listening to everything
I hear
And say
I want it to leave
And never come back
To leave me alone
The feeling if sadness
To go away
So that I can
Once again
See
The light of day

Oh! I Cry

We only can miss what was once in existence
An answer to no question, i give to you
Yes she existed,
And now i miss her
She came but never had the plan to stay longer
Never had the plan to witness the peace and unity
To see mom and dad drink from the same cup again
Oh! i cry.

I was happy i met her
Sad because she left unannounced
Never to come back
All i have now is memory of her
A memory of how good and bad things were
Memory that will never say my name again like she use to
Nor give me those worming and welcome smile of hers
Oh! i cry.

Give me the power to turn back the hand of time
And we will be kids again
Give me the power to raise the dead
And she will still have abundant air in her lungs
Give me the power to stop death
And i wont be crying these tears
But here i stand beside her grave heart broken
Fantasizing on what could have been
Oh! i cry.

Dedicated to the memory of my sweet late sister.

In Christ alone

There is a place where I can go
A place of quietness that I know
A place of serenity and peace
Where all sorrows and sadness cease.

O blessèd place of perfect rest
In Christ alone am I so blest
In His arms of love I can dwell
Safe from the harm of death and hell

The Morning Has Not Yet Come

The morning has not yet come-
The darkness is still here-
And yet there is peace and quiet
And a space for thought -

The middle of the night too has its place-
So too the surrounding darkness
In a well- lit room-

Time and Memory also have their place-
All has its place in its time
And all does not when its time comes-

We live and we die
And we do not know why.

Why Death Comes?

There is a place after life;
There is a home after death;
There is a life after life on earth,
And that is the Abode of God
Called Heaven!
It’s a place of joy alone;
It’s a place devoid of sorrows;
It’s a place that’s free from pain and sin;
It’s a place that’s very pure;
It’s a place where sufferings are unknown;
It’s a place of everlasting joy;
It’s a place of commune with God-
Eternity is its name!
Death gives rest to souls that depart;
Death gives reprieve from earthly woes;
Death is the only way to God’s Abode;
Death heralds the resurrection of souls!
When death comes, why should we fear?
Death is the one way to Heaven;
But when it comes, our soul must be prepared,
And if that is done, why bother?
Miracles can be wrought by God;
Prayers can bring miracles through;
Yet, a sea of fervent appeals from souls,
May not keep back a single soul
For a time longer than
What God has pre-destined!
Because, God knows each heart;
God knows each soul;
God knows our sufferings,
And the ideal time to deliver
All.

Build For Pain

DEATH IS WIND AND I BREATH IT IF SOMEONE FORCES ME 2 OR IF IM TIRED OF LIFE MYSELF.
PAIN + PAIN IS DEATH
MISERY + UNHAPPINESS IS SORROW
SORROW + PAIN IS TEARS
AND I SHED SO MANY FOR PEERS
THAT GOES DOWN THE PATH TO
WHEN DEATH THEY DODGE
TO WHERE SOME STRIKES WITH
VENGENCE AND LEAVE US DEAD IN THE
STREETS OF OUR HEARTS
DEATH SHED NO TEARS OF ITS OWN
BUT IF I HAVE TO HOLD MY BREATH TO KEEP
DEATH AWAY FROM ME I WONT BECAUSE
IM ALREADY BUILT FOR PAIN

Buried alive

Inside that feeling of depression..........
It's not just a silly superstiotion...........
It's hard to make this confession........

I'm buried alive.................
I believe that no one can help me to survive.............................
I'm sick of this pathetic life...............
and i think it's all based on a horrible big lie..................

still there..laying there
inside that fearful place.....
where a feeling of death hung upon the air..........
oh god this's so unfair.............
my life has become an abhorrent endless nightmare................

inside that gloomy place..
where every thing is dark and..........
and the sun will never shine upon my pale face................
oh god how can i get rid of all these choking scares? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
how can i get out of this frightening place............

so hard to get rid of the weight of thise feeling laying inside my brittle poor heart...........
this feeling of depression it makes me fall apart..........

Children's Playground In The City

THIS is a place where men laid their dead,
Each with his life-tale of good or ill;
Here prayers were murmured and hot tears shed,
And passionate anguish moaned its fill.
Silent now is each voice that cried,
And the tears that were wept have all been dried
In the dust; and dust are the hearts that bled
With hopeless longing for hearts grown still.

Dead and forgotten! for Death, requiter
Of love, taught Memory how to forget!
The love that remembered them died. Grow brighter,
Oh, dim grave-garden, with dead hearts set!
Room for the small flying feet to pass,
The feet of the children over the grass!
The dead, if they knew it, would feel them lighter
Than the weight of a stone that no tears make wet.

We must die too, and the grief that will live
Must die as surely--death comes to all;
But you who come after--let Nature give
To our graves her tears, to our dust her pall:
Let her hide us away in her cold broad breast,
Let us be forgotten, and be at rest,
And over our heads let the great world strive,
And the children's voices carol and call.

If your heart on the flower of remembrance is set,
There is one way to pluck it--and only one:
Dare you ask your country not to forget
A name that needs to be graved on stone?
By grief, strife, sacrifice, scorn of fame,
You may grave on the people's hearts your name,
Or your name may die, and your soul live yet
In the cause you died for--the work you have done.

I Wish

I wish I could leave this place.
Leave the pain and disgrace.
I wish I knew what I did that was so wrong.
Its been like this for so long.

I wish I could run away.
To find a place full of goodness and lay.
Lay there and smile at the sun.
Wondering what I have done.

I wish to know why they hate me.
Making me so lonely.
I hate the pain that you gave to me.
Its hurting me you see.

I wish I was dead.
To just lay down in my death bed.
To leave a place of pain and sorrow.
To go of a place with the morrow.

I wish I could just leave.
Just let me go please.
I need to go.
When I'll be back, I don't know

I'm Learning (Part One)

I never meant to hurt you baby
I didn't wanna cause you any pain
But you never knew how I felt now honey
And you know you didn't even know why
So I wanna put my heart in it's place
And I wanna be the person that you fell in love with

I've been told there'll be another
(or so they say)
But I guess never like the other
So I'll shed my tears and I'll face my fears
I've been told there'll be another

A cry for help will sound the same now baby
And I know that people just don't change
But I guess you can't hope
And wish they will yeah
So I wanna put my heart in its place
And I wanna be the person that you fell in love with

I've been told there'll be another
(or so they say)
But I guess never like the other
So I'll shed my tears and I'll face my fears
I've been told there's be another

So I wanna scream and tell myself it'll be okay
And in a final verse I'll tell you what I wanna say

I've been told there'll be another
(or so they say)
But I guess never like the other
So I'll shed my tears and I'll face my fears
I've been told there's be another

So I guess I'm still learning..

The upper room

There is a special room set apart and blessed
a holy place and sanctuary where we can rest.
We enter in protected from this worlds care
and sweet communion with the Lord we share.

It is a place where our souls can come in sanctity
a meeting place where we can open and honest be.
A place of tears and a place of worshipping You.
Where deep searching things can be worked through.

'Come to me, Roy and Dot', We hear You say
as burdened with sorrow and care we make our way
to that Holy meeting place of solitude and peace
and commune with You to find blessed release.

The tests of this life can take its toll upon us Lord
and battered and bruised we turn to Your word.
It is so good to retire to that room upstairs awhile
and pour out our soul to You and see Your smile.

Thank You, Jesus for such a blessed place as this
where we can experience again Your heavenly kiss.
Resting in Your presence and feeling Your embrace
strengthened once more for the challenges we face.
