The Luck of a Blessing
HA HA HA, just my luck...
I try hard to go one way, but God wants me to go another.
I thought this was the right choice, but He says choose again.
Nothing is ever easy when it's something worth fighting for,
but nothing is ever more harder when that same cause you'll die to protect
has stabbed you in the heart.
So I guess that's just my luck...
I am a person who knows many things, and the one thing
I do know is that things will never be the same-we all have to
except change rather good, or bad, its comes with the territory..... the territory of life.
But I guess luck has nothing to do with it,
but love is everything about it.
Focus not on the feeling, but on the person. He truly loves us through thick and thin,
even though some may not love Him back.
We love because he loved first-we suffer because he suffered
greater-and we live because He still does.
So that's my luck, the fact that I'm blessed.
No matter how the day goes I'm blessed.
No matter where in life He takes me I'm blessed,
and no matter who leaves me, whether it's a lover, friend,
or members of family, with Him I'm always so thankfully blessed.

Celebrate The News
Hello
My luck was so bad
I thought I used up all the luck I had
Everytime I thought I'd get it on
Someone put me on
There's been a change
Beautiful and strange
My life's gone through a change
Somehow I know (somehow I know)
Bad luck's in the past
All good things here at last
So now we'll grow
There's been a change
Mmmmm
Bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
I got news for you
There ain't no blues
I got news for you
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
I got news for you
There ain't no blues
I got news for you
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
I got news for you
There ain't no blues
I got news for you
No bad luck (no more)
No bad luck (no more)
Listen to the boys loud and clear
Come on folks withstand you fears
Sail away the choice is yours you choose
Celebrate the news
There ain't no blues
Come on, come on, come on

What’s Luck?
Luck is something that comes, not so often;
Luck is an occurrence in life, quite rare;
Luck’s unpredictable phenomenon;
Luck is a devil that is rarely kind!
Luck’s the last thing one should ev’r depend on;
Luck cannot simply come to all always;
Luck can’t work magic without labor hard;
Luck is futile if basic things aren’t done.
Luck is a make-up that needs a good face;
Luck’s a pretty dame with contours and shape;
Luck is an element of great surprise;
Luck is not the usual way, world goes by!
Luck is the decoration on a cake;
Luck’s a factor that clicks for some at times;
Luck isn’t the first thing, we trust any time;
Perseverance is key to success prime.

With A Little Luck
With a little luck, we can help it out.
We can make this whole damn thing work out.
With a little love, we can lay it down.
Cant you feel the town exploding?
There is no end to what we can do together.
There is no end, there is no end.
The wiliow turns his back on inclement weather;
And if he can do it, we can do it, just me and you,
And a little luck, we can clear it up.
We can bring it in for a landing,
With a little luck, we can turn it on.
There can be no misunderstanding.
There is no end to what we can do together.
There is no end, there is no end.
The willow turns his back on inclement weather;
We can do it, just me and you.
With a little push, we could set it off.
We can send it rocketing skywards.
With a little love, we could shake it up.
Dont you feel the comet exploding?
With a little luck.
With a little luck.
With a little luck, a little luck, a little luck.
With a little luck.
With a little luck.
With a little luck, a little luck, a little luck.

Hard Luck Story
Dont ask me to love my neighbour
Cause I dont love the man
Dont ask me for my favours
I wont lend a hand
And if I had real power
Then I could disappear
Wouldnt have to be around you
Id sink into the atmosphere
Then I wouldnt hear
Your hard luck story
Its a hard luck, a hard luck story
Dont ask me to tip the waiter
For he is underhand
I can tell he is a woman hater
And he is a nasty man
Within reach lies all desire
For each and every soul
Stripped bare and stretching higher
You fall into the last balck hole
To end your hard
Hard luck story
Its a hard luck
Hard luck story
Dont ask me to pray to jesus
Ive never met the man
I only meet weekend preachers
Pictures of the promised land
All the new holy saviours
Who pretend to understand
Who do you think will save you
Modern day beggar man
Such a hard luck
Hard luck story
Its a hard luck
Hard luck story
Its such a hard
Hard luck story
Its a hard luck
Hard luck story
Dont ask me to love my neighbour
Dont ask me to tip the waiter
Dont ask me to pray to jesus
He picked his time to leave us
Its a hard luck

Its a hard luck

Good Luck, Bad Luck
The film script lies ahead
Change the future, change the past
Choose the players, choose the role
Cast of thousands, cast of few
Imagination decides the plot
Play the good guy, play the bad
Heres the victim, heres the saint
Heres the canvas, heres the paint
Good luck bad luck who knows
Good luck bad luck who knows
The world is peopled by many winds
Whirling faster than the wind
Solving a dilemma of life and death
Trying to make some sense of it all
No good blaming the outside world
Pleasure and pain are in the mind
Whether we like it or whether we dont
We found as much as we wanted to find
Good luck, bad luck who knows
Good luck, bad luck
Good luck, bad luck who knows
Good luck, bad luck
Good luck, bad luck who knows
Good luck, bad luck
We can make it horror we can make it blue
We can make it slow time, make it move
The director sits behind those eyes
Play it straight or in disguise
Imagination decides the plot
Play the good guy play the bad
Heres the victim, heres the saint
Heres the canvas and heres the paint
Good luck, good
Good luck bad luck who knows
Good luck bad luck who knows?

Is It Luck?
My socks and shoes always match
Is it luck?
Theres a foot at the end of each of my legs
Is it luck? I can play my bass for you
Is it luck? some gals like to kiss my face
Is it luck? is it luck?
There was food inside your mouth today
Is it luck? your barber cuts your hair just so
Is it luck? when the taste of sex is on your lips
Is it luck? is it luck?
Cyanide works oh so fast
Is it luck? polyester makes you sweat
Is it luck? if a graham cracker gets you off
Is it luck
Love. love?
Is it luck? is it luck?

My Luck Wont Change
Refrain:
The cances you gave me,
A definite maybe,
But luck shes a lady,stayed
She played for me.
Theres gold in the mountain,
Good fortune for countin,
Three coins in the fountain,
And my luck wont change,
Take dust from the coalmine,
Make dust from the goldmine,
King midas youre sidelined,
And my luck wont change no my luck remains.
Chorus:
No point in shouting,
Whoever there was doudting,
Im at the top of the mountain,
And my luck wont change.
The stock market read it,
The rumours they spread it,
And I meant it when I said it,
That my luck wont change,
No my luck remains.
That old lover lost me,
She spent and she cost me,
My new love has taught me,
That my luck wont change.
(my luck wont change-my luck remains)
Refrain:
The offer she made me,
Was more than just maybe,
But luck whos a lady stayed,
She played for me.
Repeat 1st verse
Chorus:
My temperatures rising,
No point in disguising,
The phoenix is arising,
And my luck wont change-no it just remains.
My luck,my luck wont change.

Now what you want with the time that you can't forget?
That that rain put out now
Look it up
What you doing sending sisters to the other side?
It's hard enough, hard enough
What you doing with the cat that you can't forget?
Why they're walking gives them a face
What you doing with the cat that you can't forget?
Just blow it up, blow it up
It's easy
Good pal
Good luck
Every night
Hey, it's easy
Good luck
Good luck
It's easy then
It's easy
Doing with a cat that you can't put down
Cos then you're walking
It's playing cool to get
But what you can't get a man can't forget
Because Dorothy
I'm a nice devil
What you doing with the cat that you can't believe?
I don't love myself, I call the child police
Oh, what you doing with the cat that you can't believe?
Just blow it up
It's easy
Good pal
Good luck
Every night
Hey, it's easy
Good luck
Good luck
It's easy then
It's easy

Hard Luck
(words & music by weisman - wayne)
Oh Im really feeling mighty low
No, no, no, I got no place that I can go
So Ive got some blues to sing
And oh, so much remembering, woe......
Black cats, keep away from me
Take my advice, go shinning up a tree
I got hard luck, the hardest kind a luck youll find
I aint lyin, Ive got the bluest kinda blues
Drivin me right outta my mind
Shes gone, said toodle-loo
Kissed her good-bye and my-my, my money too
Ive got hard luck, the hardest kinda luck youve seen
I mean, the way Im runnin lately
My lucky number is thirteen
Where do I belong, everything I do is wrong, all wrong
Wrong as can be
Whos stacking all the decks, lady luck has got the hex on me
Im on her knee da-da-da-da
Shove off, oh Im warning you
This thing I caught, you know could be catchin too
Ive got hard luck, the hardest kinda luck there can be
Yes siree, I guess hard luck always chooses
Natural born losers like me
Oh ahhh!

As A Matter Of Fact
Written by s. garrett & d. boyette
Blow daddy, aww, yeah
Here we are, standing at the hard line
We made it last this long
The two of us, together since the first time
And I believe our love is still strong
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come or go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I love you (oh, as a matter of fact)
And I love that you love me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter, a matter)
Some said we wouldnt make it this far
But they dont talk no more (no more)
The love we share is precious as a big star
And what we haves what others hope for
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come or go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I need you (oh, as a matter of fact)
And Im glad that you need me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter, a matter)
Mm, matter of fact, yeah (ooh as a matter of fact)
I want you (yeah, as a matter of fact)
And I cant tell you more than that
As a matter of fact, (ooh, as a matter) yeah (matter)
Aww, blow, daddy
Musical interlude
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Seems love has a funny way
Well, it can come and go or it can choose to stay
But love says what it has to say
(repeat chorus)
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I love you (oh, as a matter of fact)
Yeah and I love that you love me back
As a matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
Ooh, ooh, baby
Matter of fact (ooh, as a matter of fact)
I need you (yeah, as a matter of fact)
And Im glad that you need me right back
As a matter of fact
(ooh, as a matter) yeah (a matter)

It Really Doesn't Matter
You say your ugly, i say it doesn't matter.
You say you have a dark past,
i say it doesn't matter.
You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,
i say it doesn't matter.
I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.
Through thick and thin where to begin.
You say you don't have a way.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say that you cant give back what you would like.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say, you say oh it really doesn't matter,
I live one day at a time.
Choices will be made that will save the day
but hurt me financially.
It doesn't matter Choice will be made
that will set me back in my expectations.
It doesn't matter,
It really doesn't matter.
Its well worth it.
To see the beauty that
you have placed before me.
Oh how its worth it.
To settle down and not be looking to be found.

Lady Luck
Theres a woman in new orleans
Said to love me she was born
But that was friday payday
By sunday she was gone
So I drove on down to texas
Where I did not do to well
I fell hard for this woman child
Turn ou she came from...well
Lady luck help me hold on
Lady luck help me hold on
To one that I love
Well I had no luck with women
Thought Id try my hand at cards
So I headed for nevada
Gonna really take them on
But the way the hands were fallin
And the way the money goes
You could say its getting colder
You could say I nearly froze
Lady luck help me hold on
Lady luck help me hold on
To one that I love
So I started playing guitar
In a southern boogie band
And the ladies I was meeting
Make you want to buy the farm
Gettin tired of saving souvenirs
Dont remind me where theyre from
And the nights come on like magic
In the morning its all gone
Lady luck help me hold on
Lady luck help me hold on
To one that I love
Lady luck help me hold on
To one that I love
Lady luck help me hold on
Lady luck help me hold on
To one that I love
Lady luck help me hold on
Lady luck help me hold on

How All This Has Happened to Me I Don't Know
How this all happened to happen to me I don’t know
The best things in my life are not the result of my achieving them-
I have been blessed by God
It is true I am not a bad person
But there are many much better
Who have had far less and suffered far more-
I have been blessed
God has been good to me
Why me I don’t exactly know.

Good Luck, Bad Luck
(ed king -mike estes)
I aint the son of the seventh son, black cats wont cross my path
Good luck comes I just watch it run and it sure does run out fast
I wasnt born under no bad sign, but it was friday the 13th
East, west, no, yes
Hot, cold, tell you this
Aint nothin in between
Its either good luck -- Im the last to get it
Bad luck -- Im the first
When its good, aint nothin better
When its bad, aint nothin worse
Well life can be a little hard sometimes, you do what you gotta do
A lot depends on the luck a man has and the cards thats been dealt to you
Id fold this hand if I could or at least take a card or two
I been around
Had my ups and downs
Tell me does it sound little like you
Good luck -- Im the last to get it
Bad luck -- Im the first
When its good, aint nothin better
When its bad, aint nothin worse
Its either good luck -- Im the last to get it
Bad luck -- Im the first
When its good, aint nothin better
When its bad, aint nothin worse
Its either good luck -- Im the last to get it
Bad luck -- Im the first
When its good, aint nothin better
When its bad, aint nothin worse
Good luck, bad luck

How Blessed Am I
How blessed am I for being born
Of parents good and God-fearing!
How blessed am I for siblings nine
Who made my childhood truly great!
How blessed am I for being made
Handsome and healthy, fair and hale!
How blessed am I for gaining ken
And virtues, wisdom, fortitude!
How blessed am I for being reared
So well by parents dutiful!
How blessed am I for achievements
Quite praiseworthy in life on earth!
How blessed am I for having fared
So well in life in every field!
How blessed am I for talents, gifts
That most men cannot dream to have!
How blessed am I for miracles
That gave my life a newer lease!
How blessed am I for finding time
To thank and praise the Almighty!
How blessed am I for grace of God
That goads me on in heaven’s road!
How blessed am I for everything
God gave me amply in His time!
How blessed am I for love of God
That chose me to be Christian!
How blessed am I for hope and faith
That help me follow Jesus’ steps!
How blessed am I for poesy
That made my life stress-free, worthwhile!
How blessed am I for God’s with me
And I’m with Him in earthly life!

The Good Lord Blessed Me
Through my life many strange things
have happened to me.
From a lonely life I thought I would lead
the good Lord blessed me
with a wonderful wife.
He blessed me with friends
all around the world,
some of which I may never see.
From what I thought
might be a sad and lonely life
the good Lord blessed me
with thing I could only dream of.
From sadness he delivered me to my wife.
From loneliness he gave to me friends
far across the sea.
He enriched my life with treasures
only some can dream of.
The treasures were not of money,
but love of a wonderful kind.
He let me meet people
of every race, colour and creed.
Delivered me from evils
for which I may have fallen.
For the hurt the good Lord blessed me
with a helping hand
so that I can help others
when and if I can.
He blessed me with the written word
so I can write of comfort and joy.
Yes, the good Lord blessed me
with all these wonderful things.

Work!
Work or no luck
If you don't have work
You get killed sitting still
Work or no luck
If you have too much work
You get killed struggling still
Work or no luck
If you finish fast
You get killed killing time
Work or no luck
If you don't finish on time
You get finished on time
Work or no luck
If you do well
You get recognized well
Work or no luck
If you do not do well
You get the pink paper wall
Work or no luck
If you are organized
You finish it on time
Work or no luck
If you are disorganized
You get finished on time
Work or no luck
If you are interested
Toughest becomes easy
Work or no luck
If you are not interested
Easiest thing becomes toughest
Work or no luck
If you are carving
You keep doing it great
Work or no luck
If you are not carving
You keep doing it a trait
Work or no luck
If you have work
You have luck
Work or no luck
If you have work
Still nothing to do
You have no luck
That's the fate of
Work or luck! ! ! !

Sweet Lady Luck
(coverdale/vandenberg)
You hold all the aces,
I never get the chance to deal
Flick of the wrist and you cut me down,
Im spinning like a roulette wheel
You say that loves a gamble
But, you play with loaded dice
You hide behind a good girl smile
With a heart stone cold as ice
But, I want it, I need it
If you dont give it Ill steal it,
Ill take it all and walk away
Lady luck,
Youre a loser in the game of love, sweet lady luck
Who you gonna call when it all falls down on you,
Sweet lady luck...
You cant stop your dealing
cos its a crying shame,
When the winner takes it all
And never ever takes the blame
But I want it, I need it
If you dont give it Ill steal it,
Ill take it all and walk away
Lady luck,
Youre a loser in the game of love, sweet lady luck
Who you gonna call when it all falls down on you
Uh, what you gonna do?
Lady luck
I need your love, I need it now,
Ive got to have it anyhow,
Sweet lady luck...
I cant win for losing,
Its tearing me apart
So Ill play the joker to your queen of broken hearts
But, I want it, I need it,
If you dont give it Ill steal it
Ill take it all and walk away
Lady luck,
Youre a loser in the game of love, sweet lady luck
Spinning like a roulette wheel, sweet lady luck
Youre a loser in the game of love, sweet lady luck
I need your love, I need it now,
Ive got to have it anyhow
Sweet lady luck..
Sweet lady luck..
Sweet lady luck..

The Heart Of The Matter
I got the call today, I didnt wanna hear
But I knew that it would come
An old, true friend of ours was talkin on the phone
She said youd found someone
And I thought of all the bad luck,
And the struggles we went through
And how I lost me and you lost you
What are these voices outside loves open door
Make us throw off our contentment
And beg for something more?
Im learning to live without you now
But I miss you sometimes
The more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought I knew, Im learning again
Ive been tryin to get down
To the heart of the matter
But my will gets weak
And my thoughts seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me anymore
These times are so uncertain
Theres a yearning undefined
And people filled with rage
We all need a little tenderness
How can love survive in such a graceless age?
The trust and self-assurance that lead to happiness
Theyre the very things - we kill I guess
Pride and competition
Cannot fill these empty arms
And the work I put between us
You know it doesnt keep me warm
Im learning to live without you now
But I miss you, baby
And the more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought Id figured out
I have to learn again
Ive been trying to get down
To the heart of the matter
But everything changes
And my friends seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me anymore
There are people in your life whove come and gone
They let you down you know they hurt your pride
You better put it all behind you baby; life goes on
You keep carryin that anger; itll eat you up inside, baby
Ive been trying to get down
To the heart of the matter
But my will gets weak
And my thought seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me
Ive been tryin to get down
To the heart of the matter
Because the flesh will get weak
And the ashes will scatter
So Im thinkin about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me
Forgiveness
Forgiveness - baby
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, you dont love me anymore
