The Rich
The palaces of the rich
And their lifestyle
Are nothing but waste of wealth!

Forms of Wealth
To money is attributed wealth
But the open truth of wealth
Is, It is not the only kind of wealth—
There are also other forms of wealth!
Good health is the best form of wealth
Forging rich links in relationships is wealth
Spontaneous love for all life forms is wealth
To have enthusiasm in life is wealth.
Acquiring life-long learning is wealth
Experience and wisdom in life is wealth
Meeting new people is also wealth
Visiting new places too is authentic wealth.
The quest to explore something is wealth
To have a positive mind-set is wealth
Existence of deep internal peace is wealth
Early morning waking up with joy is wealth.
Possessing high self-respect is wealth
Having strong spiritual connection is wealth
There exist so many types of wealth
Constitute all these and you're with full wealth!

Don't consider the wealth is eternal!
While the wife feeds
the husband, with love and desire,
the different types of foods
prepared with six tastes;
And he takes only one handful,
leaving the rest untouched,
from the quantity of food prepared,
the remaining food is wasted;
However rich,
he is likely to become poor one day
and beg for food in some other place,
Hence don't consider the wealth is eternal!
(naalatiyaar - aRaththuppaal - selvam nilaiyaamai 1)
Hence don't waste food
and share it with everybody,
Utilise your wealth
for charity!

Raining in The Sea
I waste feasting the rich.
I waste pleasing the crooked.
I waste being chivalrous.
God wastes raining in the sea.

Created Wealth Versus Inherited Wealth
rich man
or woman
poor born
with
abilities
gifts
which enable
him or her
to fast prosper
meet a market
need or potential
to self develop
economically
to create wealth
statistically
such workaholics
may be too busy
to ever relax enough
to enjoy
their wealth
for long
so driven
by need
to achieve
constantly
changing
set goals
their
own
set
maximum
economic
potential
inherited wealth
especially old wealth
is a very different
animal
wealth
takes
a lot
of time
care
not all
relatives
share in
or
equally
in
bequeathed
inheritance
of fortunes
when
it
comes
to the acid test
good hearts
are found among
rich and poor
percentages
of goodness
the quality
of any heart
not as easily
defined
as cliché
experts
assert
weigh
hearts

Rich and Poor
In me a sense has felt like each,
One causes others to wonder of strange beliefs,
In a feeding are the poor,
Poor are the opposite of the Rich.
In this side of the valley,
The Rich are better at living,
In opposition to the laughter
Of the Poor.
Poor is not Rich,
And Rich carries no Wealth
Of Heavenly Times.

To Waste Is A Virtue
Beauty not put to use
To hook men in rank is a waste.
Wealth not put to use
To reach women of choice is a waste.
Woman and man muse like these.
Fighting this trend is a virtue.

Get Rich
Columbus sailed the ocean blue
To see what he would fine
With visions of another world
They said he'd lost his mind
But when he told them of the land he'd found
A land so rich with gold
To get the treasures on the other side
They left the lad of old to
(Chorus)
Get rich now
Get rich now
Get rich now
Get rich now
Napoleon thought that he could be
The ruler of it all
The things he wanted were so very big
But he was very small
They spread the word throughout the land
That he would soon be king
But his greed and pride got in the way
And he lost everything to
(Chorus)
Oh the president and the generals
Are getting ready for a war
The only thing that they don't know
Is what they're fighting for
They shine their suits of armor
And they tell us to prepare
While they take wealth and freedom
And just leave us standing there
Get rich now

Giving Is Not About Wealth Money
giving is not about wealth money
even the rich may give to charity
point zero zero percent popularity
$10,000 dollars a plate
$100,000 dollars a plate
give at gala privilege date
company charity legal loop tax break
tax profit right off refund fiddle book snack
celebrity dinner smartest rogue rat pack
profiteers
need more money for accumulative wealth
corporation prepares
to slice your employment benefits health
live in mansions
palaces give Hati sympathy not money stealth
the very very poor
will die but not at your luxury door
mega rich miser hoards riches indifferently making more
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
A Little Night Music soothes savage heart
Miracle Artist gave us beautiful music died in poverty stage depart
the world gave Mozart a common begger's grave
his bones mass buried his music important legacy save
giving is difference making caring filling empty tummy slave

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Maxim 48
A rich profligate is a lump of earth gilded and a pious dervish is a sweetheart besmeared with earth. The latter is the patched garment of Moses and the former is the bejewelled beard of Pharaoh. Nevertheless good men retain a cheerful countenance in adversity whilst the rich droop their heads even in prosperity.
Who possesses wealth and dignity but therewith
Succours not those whose minds are distressed,
Inform him that no kind of wealth and dignity
He will enjoy in the mansion of the next world.
Wealth often takes away chances from men as well as poverty. There is none to tell the rich man to go on striving, for a rich man makes the law that hallows and hollows his own life

Much More
It is not only life and death
But much more and worth
You have nothing with you as such
Yet you can deliver much
Even though in ordinary way
But that can wipe out millions of tears away
Keep your hands ready and pray
With only words meant to say
Which of the things make you rich or poor?
Even with so much of wealth you are knocking the doors
Why so much greed for wealth and attachment?
When it is not going to help at any moment
Use only two hands for everything
Ask for mercy and pray for something
Let your passage be smooth and happy
Rush in for help even if not forthcoming or ready
You have nothing on hand still you are rich
You have everything but not within reach
See the difference between rich and without reach
What else is there to observe and foolishly preach
No one has left behind any kind of rich heritage
Even if existed then there is no worth mentioning on the page
Who may go in detail and try to understand?
When we are unable to distinguish between foe and friend
You are like dry leaf of an aging tree
With one powerful blow and you are free
Fly of from beautiful branch like crest fallen
What else can fate which is normally seen?

Interacting Awareness
Every so often
is felt inner desire
an urge
to migrate
to city centre
focus of interaction
to touch pulse
feel heartbeat
immerse in movement
before returning
to shadow life
in solitary suburb.
On the periphery
guarding the heartseed
of dissipated land.
Lost in economics.
Best fertile productive land
worth doubles more if
for housing quick profit sold.
Best agricultural land lost
rich crops lost for ever more.
Rich rich soil so rare so rare
is true wealth of nation
build houses on worthless land.
People eat blessing of God given land
feeding people is blessing of mighty God.
To lay waste in greed to God given land
is to invite blight famine of greedy hand.

Shame
Now there's a lifestyle
With painted lips
Now there's a lifestyle
Everybody wants it
But it don't exist
And I said shame...
In the dancehalls and the cinema
Shame
On the TV and the media
Shame
We loved you
Now there's a lifestyle
With fashion chic
Now there's a lifestyle
Everybody in it wants
To be elite
And I said
'You with yer brand new shoes and
You with yer greasy hair and
You with yer mother's pride and poetry
Don't you want to feel the shame?"...
In the dancehalls
Can't you feel the shame?
And the TV
Can't you feel the shame?
We loved you...
Shame
In the dancehalls and the cinema
Shame
On the TV and the media
Shame
We loved you
At the Lido and the opera
Shame
At the races
And the theatre
Shame
We loved you.
And they said all we need is love
All we need is love
With the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
Day after day
Day after day.

What Is It To Waste A Night?
WHAT IS IT TO WASTE A NIGHT?
What is it to waste a night
When I have wasted years?
Why worry now so close to the end
Hasn’t it all been a waste?
Won’t it all be a waste one day
No matter how I play the game
Of seeking to make my name eternal?
But this is this night and no other
And I writing this now
Am redeeming it from ‘waste’
And fooling myself for one more day
‘It has not been a waste nothing is a waste
when I can write a real poem now.’
