Fruitless Try

So many girls broke my heart into pieces
Yet I am yearning for love and sweet kisses.

So many times I thought I would rather die
Than going for relentless but fruitless try.

So many sad memories now haunt my brain
Like ghosts who can scare me again and again.

So many mistakes that I made in the past
Are still affecting my life like iron’s rust.

Ghosts Of Our Past

We are haunted all the time
by ghosts of our past
for things we did long ago.
They remind us often
of the mistakes we made
and cannot amend.
These ghosts can come to us
at almost anytime
and we always refer to them
as our memories.

I saw you from a distance
I thought you were pretty
But you were an average
Girl of the big city
I didn't want to break your heart
So I broke mine
That was a foolish thing to do
Since we were fine
Your parents went against us
So I stop seeing you
I thought I shouldn't love you
So I found someone new
When you heard about the girl
You couldn't believe your ears
So you wanted to meet me
To prove you had the wrong fears
But then I broke your heart into
Thousands of pieces
Now I am lonely and long for
Your warm sweet kisses
You warned me if I hurt that girl
I would repent
Now I understand you were right

Fated to Mate

You say...
Your heart is too easy to break.
And you're getting over past mistakes,
But
Give me another reason
Why you think I might make,
Those same mistakes.

You say...
You think I'm the one for you.
And you really want to know
If I'll stay true.
But,
You must have a certain reason
Why you think I might do
The same to you.

On my mind,
You're staying.
All the time,
I'm praying...
Relationships that we once had,
Has prepared us for the future...
Not the past!

I'm alone more than you know.
I'm not seeking fun to run
With playmates for show!
I know what it is I want.
If It wasn't you,
I wouldn't let this haunt me!

And I knew from 'that' moment...
You were too,

Why we shouldn't escape
From those memories
To accept we are fated to mate!

One day Ill stop breathing
My heart will stop beating
I wont see your face again
This flesh and blood is weak
And life isnt ours to keep
Sometime it has to end
In time even memories fade away

The Past

Ghosts

YES--kiss my forehead where the pain
Is grinding outwards from my brain!
But will not pity teach you, too,
To kiss these lips no fire burns through--
These cheeks, made colourless and thin
By years you had no portion in--
These weary eyes that wake and ache
Not for your sake--not for your sake:
Kiss, child, and let your kisses see
If they can find the heart in me!
There is a heart--or used to be!

I think the pain is growing less
Under your passionless caress--
Ah! could you teach my lips to crave
But just such kisses as you gave,
And could you, treading my life's ways,
But lay these ghosts of dear dead days
That walk my world by day and night,
And bar the way of all delight--
If at your touch should waken--.. . . Vain!

Not Reversible

Not all memories are happy ones
when they come to call.
Some are seeped in sadness
with things we wish we’d done.
Some errors are not reversible
as they are locked in the past
where we are not allowed to go
and surface every so often
to haunt us now and then.
Mistakes we made in love and life
with scars we claimed from them.
Some errors are not reversible
no matter how hard we try.

1st Love

Never thought I would fall in love
I’m the kind of girl who never gets it right
who can't find her way
Who hopes eventually she'll be okay.
Dreamt of my night in shinning armour
My own Cinderella story
But I knew fairy tales never came true
Not for a girl like me
I always thought I would stand alone
The world against me
Never thought love would find me
Then came a guy who
Never swept me of my feet
I didn’t fall in love at 1st sight
didn’t see the stars
Or feel the world stop
Never knew he would be the one
Looking on the sweet moments
Cant help but smile
my prince never swept me off my feet

And my passion

Laugh and scream
He pushed me as far as I could go

So the small bliss in a lovers kiss
A gentle touch sends a shiver

Stolen hours by the sunlight
The tears came as fast as the smiles

Early Works - Our Love (The Upset) Part 1

Into the past, I ventured
to find with no avail
the life I used to lead,
yet now after fruitless searches
I find a dream that is impossible,
I’ve met someone with all the things
that has made me fall.
The way she holds me
and cuddles close.
The way she kisses me
injecting such passion.

Somehow, I know
even with all the love I can give
I cannot win her
because of the cruel way
she has been treated in the past.
It seems wounds never really heal,
but only close until the next cut.
Though I’d never hurt her
she keeps hurting herself
unconsciously she won’t let the dead love go.

I know the way she feels
for I still have the scars
of old distant loves
each one left its separate mark on my heart.
Though fools rush in
where others fear to tread
they never really learn
the words wise men have said.
I am a fool who has fallen many times
but never once was it real.

He came right to my alley lord with sorrowful sounds

Ask him how much hed give me for my broken heart

Lost Love

When the thoughts of you peep in one corner of my mind
There's a certain smile that surely I cannot hide
For I remember vividly I was a little silly that time
Though I was young and innocence was mine
I knew I was loved and I too was in love
Many things had changed
We have drifted apart
And behind those silvery clouds
Undeniably our love has died
I know it's better to forget the past
Bury the memories, whether it's good or bad
Curse that day when you broke my heart
‘Cause I know something wasn't right
But how could my brain be empty of that
