Crabs

(On a Queensland Beach)

Poisonous, bloated, crab-like shapes
Crawl in gangs around these capes-
Stopping here and feeding there,
Listening, crawling everywhere;
Searching every rotten weed
With a frothing, wild-eyed greed:
Fighting o'er a lump of scurf
Or a red boil of the earth;
Thrusting up their writhing claws
To their grinning, fiend-like maws.
And these horrid creatures wet
With a thick, unwholesome sweat
Have most hideous banquets here
On the poor drowned marineer.
Down they hurry eagerly
Chittering all the way with glee:
They have smelt the tainted air
From that body festering there.
How they twitch their claws and pry
Into each distorted eye;
How they spit on him with spite
As their nippers pinch and bite;
How they strip him clean and bare,
Leaving not a morsel there,
Till they're gorged and all squat near
Fleshless remnant with a leer.
When the billows near them roll
Each will scope himself a hole
In the mud-banks, and therein
Sleep like an embodied sin.

***
In the world so crass and blind
Human crabs feed on their kind:
Glutted creatures that devour
All that fall within their power;
Skulking each near his own hole,
They smell out each human soul
Tossed up on Life's stony shore,
Weary, friendless, weak and poor.

Enough Money Spent On Wars

What agony; accumulative emotive costs;
feed needle; soul destroying drug addictions?

What monstrous greed
cloaked in racial hatred;
fed with religious hatred
feeds covert wars justified?

When will we; with humanity feed;
with compassion; brothers sisters imprisoned;
in race conflict; poverty dying discarded;
in ignored horrors; extant third world?

Ban every earth war feed our poor
not capitalist corporate baron robbers;
glutted on global sly sweat shop wages
slum lord rents death reaped war profits?

Misery is waste residue of souls
which seek self pleasure materialism;
instead of gift of giving to others
oiled crimes greases palms capitalism.

It is still universally eternally true
it is better to give than to receive;
to sow sacred love not bile hatred
sow prosperity not starvation greed.

Enough money to buy drugs
to support epidemic addictions;
who will feed our suffering world?

Enough money spent on wars
to house all our earth's homeless;
who will house humanities homeless?

Who will feed the poor?
Ban every war feed the poor.
No need to ask who will bank on feed;
crime world exploitation materialism?

Spend money spent on wars
to house all earth's homeless;
feed our poor do not feed wars.

Souls who feed world materialism
will not house human immortal souls;
while flesh rots in blown away dust
in greedy winds of war greed lust.

Creatures Of Love

A woman made a man
A man he made a house
And when they lay together
Little creatures all come out
Well, Ive seen sex and I think its alright
It makes those little creatures come to life
I can laugh or I can turn away
Well, Ive seen sex and I think its okay
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
From the sleep of reason, a life is born
We are creatures, creatures of love
Its okay to be afraid
When the blue sparks hit your brain
We can love one another
Ive been told that its okay
Doctor, doctor, tell me what I am
Am I one of those human beings
Well I can laugh or I can learn to think
So help me now to find out what I feel
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
Weve been here forever, before you were born
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love
A man can drive his car
And a woman can be a boss
Im a monkey and a flower
Im everything at once
Well, a woman and a man can be together
If they decide to theyll make little creatures
Watch em now!
Little creature of love
With two arms and two legs
From a moment of passion
Now they cover the bed
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
We are creatures, creatures of love
From the sleep of reason, a life is born
We are creatures of love, we are creatures of love

A Small Plot Of Land

Poor soul
Spit upon that
Poor soul
He never knew what hit him
And it hit him so
Poor dunce
He pushed back the pigmen
The barbs laughed
The fool is dead
Poor dunce
Hes less than within us
The brains talk
But the will to live is dead
And prayer cant
Travel so far these days
The talk of your life
Standing so near
To innocent eyes
Poor dunce
Swings thru the tunnels
And claws his way
Is small life so manic
Are these really the days
Poor dunce
Poor dunce
Poor soul
Poor soul
Poor soul

Hole In Your Soul

You feel bad, let me tell you, we all get the blues
Sometimes life is a burden, way down in your shoes
When its bad, worse, worst
(and when youre feeling so bad)
And you think youre cursed
(and youve got it sad)
Well, if theres one thing for the better that can turn you loose
Its gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
My friend sam is a chauffeur, annie goes to school
Jerry works at the office, sue lies by the pool
But on all weekends
(together again)
When I meet my friends
(Im gonna see them now)
And were lookin round for the action we sure play it cool
Its gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
Ah-haa (ah-haa, ah-haa)
You paint your world and use all colours
Ah-haa (ah-haa)
And then you find it all comes out too bright
You know its only a lie
Ah-haa (ah-haa, ah-haa)
The songs you sing are too romantic
Ah-haa (ah-haa)
And when you want the truth
They only spit in your eye
Oh yeah, theyre only telling you lies
Oh yeah, theres gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
You feel bad, let me tell you, we all get the blues
Sometimes life is a burden, weighed down in your shoes
When its bad, worse, worst
(you know youre feeling so bad)
And you think youre cursed
(and youve got it sad)
Well, if theres one thing for the better that can turn you loose
Its gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll...
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll...
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll...
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll...
To fill the hole in your soul
Theres gotta be rockn roll...
To fill the hole in your soul

The Butterfly Weed

Oh lady bug, you've done a good deed.
Setting your table on the butterfly weed,
You're the custodian of all you survey,
On butterfly weed, till the end of the day.

Oh beautiful monarch, where do you feed,
I see you too love the butterfly weed.
You and the ladybug would be poor indeed,
If it was'nt for the butterfly weed.

Oh hummingbird whose throat seems to bleed,
What do you here on the butterfly weed?
All hummingbirds, good advice heed,
We love the orange butterfly weed.

God's smallest creatures, go by one creed,
To congregate on the butterfly weed.
Let the south wind blow, and spread your seed,
So that there will be millions of the butterfly weed.

Hole In My Soul

I can feel these four walls around me
I can feel them closing in on me
But I know theres someone out there
Ready and waiting
For the chance to set me free
I dont want nothing
Aint looking for no one
You walk into my life
Well I aint no hopeless romantic
Ive gotta listen to my cautious heart
Ive been dealing with my illusions of love
I built it up and then I tear it apart
And I feel this rising suspicion
That my heart will ever rule my mind
Well Im guilty of love
By my own admission
Come on girl let me do my time
Hey, when I call you
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, when I fall through
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Dont need no sisters of mercy
They set me off like a loaded gun
Aint nothing in this world possessing me
Honey youre the only one
Cant live in this empty sadness
Its more than we can endure
Well wise men say
That love is madness
Come on girl I say that love is the cure
Hey, when I call you
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, when I fall through
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, without you
I will fall through the hole in my soul
Hey, when I call you
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, when I fall through
I need to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, without you
I will fall through the hole in my soul
Hey, I need you
I need you to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, I want you to fill the hole in my soul
Hey, hey, hey, I need you to fill the hole in my soul

Hole In The World

There's a hole in the world tonight.
There's a cloud of fear and sorrow.
There's a hole in the world tonight.
Don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow.
They say that anger is just love disappointed.
They say that love is just a state of mind.
But all this fighting over who is anointed,
Oh, how can people be so blind?
There's a hole in the world tonight.
There's a cloud of fear and sorrow.
There's a hole in the world tonight.
Don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow.
Oh, they tell me there's a place over yonder
Cool water running through the burning sand.
Until we learn to love one another,
We will never reach the Promised Land.
There's a hole in the world tonight.
There's a cloud of fear and sorrow.
There's a hole in the world tonight.
Don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow.
(There's a hole in the world tonight.)
They say that anger is just love disappointed.
(There's a cloud of fear and sorrow.)
They say that love is just a state of mind.
(There's a hole in the world tonight.)
But all this fighting over who will be anointed,
(Don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow.)
Oh, how can people be so blind?
There's a hole in the world tonight.
(Hole in the world)
There's a cloud of fear and sorrow.
(Fear and sorrow)
There's a hole in the world tonight.
(Ooooh)
Don't let there be a hole in the world tomorrow (repeat three times)

Yet to bloom

Mother Earth has yet to bloom.
Like a flower that has just budded,
Mother Earth has unlimited potentials.
The Universe hides secrets from tiny Earth
Which unfolds its wonders in stages.
As crawling creatures turned into
Flying creatures and apes into men,
We will have creatures that can even
Crisscross the universe at the speed of
Their own wish one day.
Yet to bloom though Mother Earth is old
By human measurements.
The day will come when our technology
Will be thought as nothing more
Than stone-age appliances are to us.
Given the opportunity to bloom
Further that is, Mother Earth.
Its full bloom beyond our thoughts.

Convicts Love Canaries

Dick's dead! It was the Polack guard
Put powdered glass into his cage
When I was tramping round the yard,--
I could have killed him in my rage.
I slugged him with that wrench I stole:
That's why I'm rotting in the Hole.

Dick's dead! Sure I wish I was too.
His honey breast, his lacy claws
I kissed and cried, for well I knew
They murdered him. I cursed because
He was my only chum on earth . . .
Oh how he cheered me with his mirth!

Dick's dead! I know he cared for me.
Being I'm Irish I love song,
And there was heaven in his glee;
I'd bless his heart the dour day long.
I'd let him flutter round the cell;
He'd light upon my hand . . . Oh hell!

Dick's dead! They've thrown me in the Hole.
To break our spirits how they try!
My bed a plank, blind as a mole,
Sure I'll be nuts before I die . . .
Here in the night, dark as the Pit
I'm seeing sunny wings aflit.
Here in the silence, hark his song!
--Poor Dick! Oh Christ, how long, how long!

Ambrose Bierce

Haec Fabula Docet

A rat who'd gorged a box of bane
And suffered an internal pain,
Came from his hole to die (the label
Required it if the rat were able)
And found outside his habitat
A limpid stream. Of bane and rat
'T was all unconscious; in the sun
It ran and prattled just for fun.
Keen to allay his inward throes,
The beast immersed his filthy nose
And drank-then, bloated by the stream,
And filled with superheated steam,
Exploded with a rascal smell,
Remarking, as his fragments fell
Astonished in the brook: 'I'm thinking
This water's damned unwholesome drinking!'

Scavenging Ravens

I am so scared to close my nose,
as I may offend the deplorable souls,
An earthen pot filled with boiling rice,
comfortably sits in the middle of flies,
Everyone's waste is disposed here,
varieties of things in variant grade,
rotten, rotting and sale able plastics,
two human squat there to separate,
what other disposed, have some values,
when ever I walk by the dumpster,
at the sides of these main roads,
I try to walk faster, not to inhale,
the horrible smell of decaying garbage,
the other day I was forced to stop,
the traffic jam created by,
around ten rickshaws and a bullock cart,
I tried to take a deep breath,
and walk past as fast as I could,
Then I saw the bed that was laid,
between the dumpster and the wall,
just on the plank over the clogged ditch,
I was shocked, then I took off my hands,
from the nose and breathed the air,
that these poor people on the street inhale,
day and night and night and day.

How to change this country,
of over multimillion people,
half of them are dirt poor,
one tenth of them are the richest,
forty percent of them middle class,
How to change this country,
to have clean air for people to breathe?
How to change these countries,
to have clean water for people to drink?
How to change these continents,
to have ample work for the human,
to stand on their own feet?
Who is going to do it,
without being the mosquitoes,
that like to suck,
the blood of poor men?
who is going to do it,
without being the Shylock,
who wants not only a pound,
but also the body and the soul,
of the poor men of these continents?

I am scared to close my eyes,
as I may miss seeing all these lies.

Time Will Crawl

I've never sailed on a sea
I would not challenge a giant
I could not take on the church
Time will crawl
Till the 21st century lose

I know a government man
He was as blind as the moon
He saw the sun in the night
He took a top-gun pilot
He made him fly thru a hole
Till he grew real old
And he never came down
He just flew till he burst

Time will crawl till our mouths run dry
Time will crawl till our feet grow small
Time will crawl till our tails fall off
Time will crawl till the 21st century lose

I saw a black black stream
Full of white eyed fish
And a drowning man
With no eyes at all
I felt a warm warm breeze
That melted metal and steel
I got a bad migraine
That lasted three long years
And the pills that I took
Made my fingers disappear

Time will crawl

Out There In Nature's Wild Kingdom

Out there in Nature's wild kingdom the struggle is for to survive
And the strongest and the fittest can only hope to thrive
In a time of Global warming chances of extinction multiply
And people as well as all of life endangered as the Planet becomes more dry,
Out there in Nature's wild kingdom by men one more wood is cut down
For to build a new housing estate on the verge of the town
Habitat destruction a huge threat to wildlife
In a World where human greed is becoming more rife
Out there amongst Nature birds and beasts of prey
The creatures of night and the creatures of day
Must kill for to eat such is life one might say
Survival of the fittest that is Nature's way
And out there in Nature's kingdom the fittest survive
And most creatures must struggle just to stay alive.

Birds of Prey

Their shadow dims the sunshine of our day,
As they go lumbering across the sky,
Squawking in joy of feeling safe on high,
Beating their heavy wings of owlish gray.
They scare the singing birds of earth away
As, greed-impelled, they circle threateningly,
Watching the toilers with malignant eye,
From their exclusive haven--birds of prey.
They swoop down for the spoil in certain might,
And fasten in our bleeding flesh their claws.
They beat us to surrender weak with fright,
And tugging and tearing without let or pause,
They flap their hideous wings in grim delight,
And stuff our gory hearts into their maws.

Creatures Of The Night

Searching in the darkness
Running from the day
Hiding from tomorrow
Nothing left to say
Victims of the moment
Future deep in doubt
Living in a whisper
'Til we start to shout
[Chorus]
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
Breathing in the madness
Spitting out the lies
Searching for an answer
Keep your alibis
Don't know where we're goin'
Just know where we've been
Remember when the clock strikes twelve
The losers always win
[Chorus]
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
[Solo]
Searching in the darkness
Running from the day
Hiding from tomorrow
Nothing left to say
Gathering up our courage
Ready for the fight
Howling in the shadows
'Til we start to bite
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night
(Ooooh) We're creatures of the night

Nothing is endless

Going by the philosophy,
souls never die
It is just change of body
from one to other guy,

Agreeing the reincarnation
if look the time behind,
Soul changes body of human
question comes in mind;

The earth took birth years back
say many millions,
Where these souls were before
say many billions?

Why we can’t find linkage
if souls take rebirth?
Why many creatures vanished
from the earth?

I feel it is the God and
only God who lives forever,
Who demerges from him
and merges souls of creatures.

Some Spit, Some Swallow

Some Spit, Some Swallow
Date: April 30,2012

I've way too much fury
Welled up inside that cramped dark hole
The rooms are small and empty
Except for the crashing waves

My soft brown thighs burn for the man
The one over there, with the fake smile and lying eyes
That door to door salesman, knocking on Saturday mornings
Selling gadgets that nobody needs

The poor cheap bastard
He'll never know how I steal his goods
Sucking down his every breath while he stands there ogling
I smile, and then vomit the bile of my own disgust

Yesterday, I rode out on a freshly painted dinghy
Ready to let the fish have a go at my heart
But, ha! I will have the last bitter laugh
As he gags on my glutted remains

As I am full of rot, and steaming pestilence
Spilling my flesh like a boil in summer's heat
Festered and ripe as the midday sun
All hot, puss filled and angry

So I say, come now if you dare
Take your chances and drink to have your fill
Eat, feast and be merry in the moment
As it is his grave that I dig…not mine

And when he stumbles and falls
I will be the only one to crawl from the decay
Prize in hand, smiling like tomorrow's sunshine
The holder of his best kept secrets

I will roll them around in a red velvet box
Then turn them loose for the world to see
And the world, will chew the cud and wonder of the taste
Some may spit, but most will swallow

I'll tell ya…it's all that fury, building up, year after year
That spoon feeds fire to the blind mouse
I watch him in his squirming, screaming orgasm
Then laugh as he scurries away in daylight fright

He has not left me weak or hungry
As I've binged on the potential of his fear
I light up another cigarette, breathe in the salt of his distress
Then, as the smoke curls from my cold red lips, I leave him…

With his pants down and the lights on

Our Search Is For True Happiness

Our search is for true happiness but such we cannot find
And such a gift if it exist not meant for human kind
For some this life is hard so hard a battle all the way
Their plate with food is seldom full they live from day to day.

And others with more than enough are not prepared to share
And for the hungry and the poor they spare no thought of care
They are possessed by demon greed their demon grow and grow
The more they have the more they want and unhappiness they know.

The more they have the more they want they live with grasping hand
And why wars and famines in the world not hard to understand
Too many die for want of food and too few seem to care
And a half a million become poor to make one millionaire.

And greed and the great need for power the scourge on human kind
And our search is for true happiness if such there is to find
And the distribution of wealth as ever seems unfair
And the hoarders far too many and the kind of heart too rare.
