Taking Control
Mother dearest Father too
You do anger me very much you do
I have tried too
Console with you indeed
But these scars persist
From the marks of your fist
So I must resist
Change me from within
Learn to forgive those
Who hurt me
Forgiving me to begin
I'll never be that angry girl destined
To repeat that story again and again
And just because their like that
Gives no excuse I can
Because I am me
With the power
to control any way I am

AnGer..
Anger will let you lead to
someday you might regret and
will hurt you...
This is the feeling that you can
learn how to forgive...
you can feel this when somebody
had cause you too much
pain, discomfort and disrespect.
Anger is the root of taking revenge
to those people who made you angry..
However, it is also a way to know
your companions attitudes...
But you still need to realize each
others point to avoid anger to
each other.
Not all the times those who are
angry are those who are right.
Nevertheless, that feeling will
fade once you have forget your
anger and what they have done to you
and learn how to forgive those people
when the time comes.

Forgiveness
Forgiveness is an act that works through God;
Forgiveness is an act of God in man;
Forgiveness is the work of God’s great love;
Forgiveness is an art that man must learn!
Men with good sense will restrain their anger;
Such men defer their anger for long times;
To forgive transgressions is man’s glory;
To hold one’s tongue is done by people smart.
Forgiving is an act almost divine;
Forgiving is something not all can do;
Forgiving someone is too tough at times;
Forgiving fully is done by just few!
To preach is easy; forgiving is tough;
Forgiving is an honor of men wise;
If God should forgive us, we must forgive;
Like God, we must be slow to anger too.
‘Forgive those who sin against us, ’ tells Christ;
To gain God’s forgiveness, we must then, first;
There is no limit to forgive someone;
Forgiveness is a virtue Jesus taught.
One who forgives has no revenge in heart;
One who forgives has no hate from the start;
‘Forgive and God will forgive you, ’ says Lord.
Forgiving plants the seed of love of God.
When all are sinners, forgiveness is prime;
By doing so, we gain the love of God;
Through forgiveness, our tolerance will grow;
For prayers to be heard, forgive right now!
A man with grudge is like a fruitless tree!
Grudge can stand in-between you and heaven!
Spare no occasion of forgiving men;
Judge not others but show mercy on them!
We turn like God when we forgive others;
Forgiving earns more souls for God, brothers!

Daddy Please Don't Hurt Mommy
A little girl stood crying as the father beat the mother,
next to the girl stood her older sister, and older brother.
Alcohol was the demon that drove the beating hand,
the mother bruised, and sobbing cowards from the man.
Why does daddy do that thought the little girl?
Oh how I hate my father, he's the worst person in the world.
The mother now alone in the bedroom with a razor above her wrist.
'Please mommy don't do it, ' the youngest child did persist.
The father starves the mother, three days in a row,
the little girl hates her father, yet the father is too drunk to know.
Is alcohol the problem or does there exist more?
The little girl's answer comes from her sobbing mother lying hurt on the cold, hard floor.

• Spirit of anger, hear the Word of the Lord my God come out of me.
I raise the standard of the blood of Jesus against you, in the name of
Jesus.
• Lord God, I surrender my emotions unto Your control. Put anger far
away from me, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the grace to be long-suffering and
slow to anger. Give me the forgiving spirit to be able to tolerate
others, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, change my behavior to embrace tenderhearted
feelings, kindness, a gentle mind, and patience. Give me the power
to endure all that comes my way with a different temperament, in
the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the grace to expect nothing from
people and depend on You as the Great Provider. Continue to direct
and revive me, in the name of Jesus.

I pray I will not label anyone in a way You have not labeled them.

to be angry, in the name of Jesus.

my nerves, cool my temper, and bury my wrath, in the name of
Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, give me the spirit of forgiveness as an antidote
for bitterness, wrath, and anger, in the name of Jesus.
• My Lord and my God, keep me away from anger, the mother of
destruction and failure, in the name of Jesus.

name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Control Over Power
Control over power is good, because everyone needs control over the burden of power.
Power over control is not the best, because people then can not control the power they have and use it in very sick and disgraceful ways.
That's why control over power is the best and that will never change.

I'm OK
Once upon a time there was a girl
In her early years she had to learn
How to grow up living in a war that she called home
Never know just where to turn for shelter from the storm
Hurt me to see the pain across my mother's face
Everytime my father's fist would put her in her place
Hearing all the yelling I would cry up in my room
Hoping it would be over soon
Bruises fade father

To Them I'm Crazy
I’m a crazy woman. To them I’m crazy. Obsessed with my anger. They think it chokes me in my sleep, it oozes as I walk, leaving a trail of disgust in my path. But this anger is who I am. What I must be. It cannot be left in a corner, forgotten, like letters of the past covered in dust. This is my story and I will not forget. The hurt and the pain. The struggle and shame. Because if I forget no one will remember. No one will know or be there to tell this story. Anger. It isn’t a story of anger. But it’s a story of transformation. Of holding my anger, like a cherished organ, understanding that without this anger, I would not be this soon-to-no-longer-be lost girl. With anger oozing in her path. With change in her horizon. I would be the masses that for too long have been too helpless to leave. They lost they’re anger. Lowered their heads when they were told they shouldn’t want more. They should be happy with what they have. But I will not forget. I will always know. And that is what drives me.

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXXVIII: Anger
Why it makes you angry?
Because you care
Because it disturbs your peaceful life
Because it insults you
Because it is true
Because you are not prepared
Who could make you angry?
It is someone you hold dear in your heart
It is someone you could not bend to your will
It is someone who doesn't understand about you
It is someone who has a power in you
It is everyone in the world
How do you do in your anger?
Do you unleash harsh words without thinking clear?
Do you kick and slam everything near you?
Do you keep it hidden?
Do you manage to push harder?
Do you plan for something malicious to show them who you are?
What left in you after the anger?
Will you regret it?
Will you feel relieved?
Will it still scratch to be set free?
Will you be able to look from the other side?
Will it always be remembered?
And which affect you the most in anger?
The hurt when the trust is broken
The shame when you can't control the anger
The depression when you think you don't even have a right to be angry
The weakness when everything seems turn wrong
The loneliness when you don't actually know the reason

That their time has just begun
I have suffered for my anger
There are wars that can't be won

I am broken like an arrow
Forgive me
Forgive your wayward son
Everybody needs somebody to love

Father's Forgiveness
Father, I want to say that
I love you,
No matter what you
Have done to my family
Or to me.
I know that you may not
Love me in return,
And that our filial relationship
May be forever damaged,
But I forgive you for all the things
That you did in the past
And even for the things you do now.
Father, even though you may be selfish
And self-absorbed and self-centred,
And greedy and pompous,
I still love you because you are my father.
My Father in Heaven wants me to love you,
And I love you as He loves you
Because He created you,
And through you and Mum,
He created me, too.
Father, Jesus also loves you,
For you are his brother,
As I am his,
And my brother is his, too,
And he loves you,
And he calls you by name, as well,
For he loves you just as your Father
And my Father—that is, Our Father,
Loves us both.
Father, I know you may not
See me as a great person,
And that I may be a failure in your eyes,
Even with my head injury,
Giving me ADD, Asperger Syndrome,
And Tourette Syndrome,
And I may be a disappointment in
Your own eyes,
I want to tell you that I am happy,
And that I love the life I live,
For my Father,
And your Father,
Has given me wisdom
And insight in which I use
To help other people.
He has given me a calling,
And I follow it because
I believe in Him,
And I love Him as I love you.
Yet, Father, I want to apologise
For the anger I held toward you,
Because the pain was great,
(And, yes, it's still there) ,
But I no longer am angry nor depressed,
Nor saddened nor hurt,
And I forgive you for all that you've done.
I forgive you for the times
That you beat on Mum,
The times that you were violent towards me,
Towards my brother,
And towards Elyse.
I forgive you.
I forgive you for
Making fun of my disability,
And I forgive you for verbally abusing me,
And I forgive you for punching me sporadically,
And for spanking me every time
I got a ‘bad-boy' note when
I came home from kindergarten.
I forgive you for throwing Sean in a chair
And for all the times you
Hit him and beat on him,
And for the times you verbally abused him,
And for the times you mocked him
When he was trying to learn how to read.
I forgive you for the wrongs you
Did toward Elyse,
Including your impatience,
Your lack of courtesy,
Your lack of generosity,
And even the thing you did
In the shower,
Which is a taboo
To this day.
I also forgive you for the things you did
To the friends you made in life,
And to my cousins,
Albeit male or female,
To my aunts and uncles,
To your own brothers and sisters,
And to anyone else you may have wronged.
Father, I forgive you for hurting Mum,
For maiming her in front of us,
For committing adultery,
For cheating on her,
For lying to her,
For stealing from her,
For the hatred you bestowed on her.
I forgive you for all the lies you told us,
And I forgive you for all the anger you held,
All the actions and wrongs you committed,
For the profanity that came from your mouth,
And for your lack of self-control.
Father, I even forgive you for the wrongs you
Do now,
Including hurting Elyse verbally,
Many a time,
And hurting Mum indirectly
Or directly,
And Stefanie,
Either way.
Father, what is the past is the past,
And I love you greatly,
For you are my father,
And I will never forget you.
You are the father who joined my mother
And made me through the Father's Will,
And I will always love you,
No matter who you are,
Or what you've done,
I will love you unconditionally,
And I will give you my life,
If needbe.
I do not know if you are happy, Father,
And I do not know if you are miserable,
But, please, if at all possible,
Even though I forgave you,
And still love you,
It is not enough for your soul,
So, if you can,
Just realise that you are loved,
And realise that God loves you,
And wants you in His family,
And that Jesus wants you,
Even after all these years of
Going astray,
And that you can recognise this
And repent so that
You can truly be in the Heart of Christ.
Father, I love you,
And always will love you,
And I forgive you for all that you have done,
And now, it is time for you to make an action,
And I hope you can make the best of it.
I love you, Dad,
And never will stop loving you.

Anger, Oh, No... Train Me Control
Sometimes when I'm angry, loud, I would like to shout!
Other times when I'm angry, I would rather pout.
Anger's an attribute I'd like to see jump out.
‘Cuz this anger, when it's in me, it makes my mind have doubt.
Anger! Oh, no!
Train me control! !
To always control my anger…
I hope to always do.
Good luck avoiding danger…
In everything you do!

Anger- Linda's Story
There is this angry place
she said
that's been inside me since
my earliest days.
And when I need
I go there
for power
and resistance.
If ever
someone
hurts me
I let it out
to go free
and kill
or hurt back
and allow
it to take retribution.
It makes me feel strong
It makes me feel not so weak.
Only thing
is it is starting to get out of control.
After getting out
sometimes
it will not go back in
It remains out
and hurt
some people
it shouldn't.
That's the thing
about this Anger
thing
I'm afraid
most times now.
I am not in control.
It is.
Now it is Scary Anger
and I blank out at times
to wake up
shocked to see
what it has done.
I need help with it.

~Anger's Friend
Is there a human, young or old,
Who has never felt frustration’s hold?
Ah yes, my child, you’ve felt it too,
For so had I, as young as you.
For as we walk and learn and strive,
Anger is part of being alive.
And someone will tell you the way they told me
That anger is sin, but don’t you believe.
Have you seen a robin chasing a crow?
Were you not angry, for did you not know,
That the crow stole her egg right out of her nest?
You shared her anger and that was the best
That you could do for that poor mother bird.
The world’s full of injustice, I know you have heard.
Ah, now remember the day we had planned
A trip to the beach to play in the sand,
But you woke in the morning to the sound of the rain
Out on the roof-top and on each window pane.
How angry you were to think that it could
Rain on the beach as well as the woods.
Now, as you grow older, soon you will find
That you can feel anger of an other kind.
You’ll be angry at those who find fault with you
When you think that you’ve done the best you can do.
You’ll be angry at me when I’m angry at you,
Or when I make you do what you don’t want to do,
When I have to teach you and don’t know what to do
To help you to see it’s important to you.
So I’m angry at you and I’m angry at me,
For all I can do is stand there helplessly.
Or maybe I’ll yell, I might even scream,
For that moment my hope is as lost as it seems.
Then, you may acquiesce because that is your love
Till someday you’ll know what I’m speaking of.
And because you know that anger’s not sin
We’ll be able to make up again and again.
So never fear the feelings we have
Or deny that you feel what all of us have.
Make friends with anger and, like you and I,
You’ll be able to reason and understand why.
Say, “Anger, my friend, come rushing in.
Tell me your tale that we may begin
To discuss and subdue it into a sigh.”
For anger is fleeting when recognized.

Hold Onto Your Anger
no amount of positive change in the world
which has advanced the betterment of us
as a species,
has come about by staring into the face of
idiocy, malicious intent, straight out murder,
slavery, oppression & genocide &
then trying to win it over with
concessions &
compassion-
it is discontent & rage
that have come about as a direct result of the forces in this world
which think that they can do to you what they want
when they want-
without it, there would be no
progress.
anger riles the individual
the individual gains strength
the strong individual speaks to another &
two become four,
four become eight-
sooner than later,
anger & anger alone
has brought together a mass of people
who understand that what has been going on
can no longer be so-
SOMETHING
HAS TO CHANGE
anger produces power in the “powerless”
by allowing them the courage to say that there is nothing to lose
when it comes to striving for
rights denied to you-
hold onto your anger
clench it in your fist & never let it go
for what you have inside you is
just-
what you have inside you is a need to utilize every part of your
being &
if your anger is all you have at your disposal
(that which cannot be tainted by those outside you) ,
then it is more beautiful than anything &
it is yours & yours alone-
it is representative of your own voice,
your own life &
your own ability to resist the destruction of your
will.

Resist
Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
I can learn to resist
Anything but temptation
I can learn to co-exist
With anything but pain
I can learn to compromise
Anything but my desires
I can learn to get along
With all the things I cant explain
I can learn to resist
Anything but frustration
I can learn to persist
With anything but aiming low
I can learn to close my eyes
To anything but injustice
I can learn to get along
With all the things I dont know
You can surrender
Without a prayer
But never really pray
Pray without surrender
You can fight
Without ever winning
But never ever win
Without a fight

Modern World
First performance at the catalyst club, may 1997.
We live in a modern world
With communication between boy and girl
Oh yeah
But under the stars above
We just dont recognize
The power of love is free
We gotta change
We gotta change
We gotta change how we feel
We gotta change
We gotta change
When anger has closed the door
My eyes go blind and I can see inside
I hurt you and you hurt me
Which crimes of love in the first degree
Oh yeah
We gotta change
We gotta change
We gotta change how we feel
We gotta change
We gotta change
We live in a modern world
With communication between boy and girl
Oh yeah
But when there are clouds above
We just dont recognise
The power of love is free
We gotta change
We gotta change
We gotta change how we feel
We gotta change
We gotta change

Loosen Up And Relax
I feel myself going angry
Out of control again
I have to learn to relax
And be less angry
I have to learn to deal with my anger
It is out of control now
Now I am in trouble more than ever
Sometimes I don't know why I loose my head
And my anger comes
It comes in so fast
Out of the blue
I need sometime to loosen up and relax
My legs are kind of shaky right now
Loosen up and relax watching the television I will
I find it to be my best companion these days
The television can't talk back to me
A good thing it is not human like I am
So it doesn't have feelings
But I do
Sometimes my feelings get mixed up
Inside my head
So once again I have to learn to loosen up and relax
I feel so tight inside
Like I am going to explode any minute
That is what I am beginning to see and feel right now

Forgiving Is Too Distant From Their Hearts
Not too many,
Are willing...
To forget with an ending.
With a forgiving,
To begin.
Ready they are not!
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
What's been done,
To many...
Sits,
Deep within...
With a tearing them apart.
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
No matter what some folks do,
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
Some people show they are cruel,
To forgive them is too distant from some hearts.
And when those people choose to forgive,
A forgetting is repeated...
Again to remember.
Remember.
Remember...
No matter what some folks do,
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
Some people show they are cruel,
To forgive them is too distant from some hearts.
And when those people choose to forgive,
A forgetting is repeated...
Again to remember.
Not too many,
Are willing...
To forget with an ending.
With a forgiving,
To begin.
Ready they are not!
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
Forgiving is too distant from their hearts.
