Harvest is Great

abode the meadow of flocking birds, and
echo the whole land it’s the season of
harvest, let the trumpeters loud its voice,
the great Jubilation has now welcome the
new horizon of hope and joy

let all the angels sing the beginning of
another years to stay, the gazing star of the
universe tremendously guide and leads the
whole way to the window of the galaxy

look at back, the stream goes without the
storm and the birds fly with each feather
silent the calmness of the wind beneath the
dazzling clouds of the sky

subside all the grain and wait until time
comes to grow in the land that makes it
flow and mold as a seed; the harvester has
joyfully hold the bleed and sow, till the
next season set to end

glance for a while, the birds have lovingly
fly for the sower to go …

A grain of wheat

used for a meal to nourish the flesh

gain the better of tomorrow as the grain, grow in

for a wonderful growth, thou shall the sea look the

flash the orchards of honor, in the heart that viewed
to see the beginning of a day of yesterdays to come
for only in crystal eye you will see the real venture

New Season

Up from the hills and down through the valley,
A stream whispers unendingly a fading melody,
As it continues on its aimless journey.

The blazing heat scorching innocent vegetation,
Green leaves gently fading to brown.
The grass shriveled up;
Wilted, forgotten and began to die.

Up high in the treetops birds yet sing their songs,
In ritual of prayers to their gods.
Their songs heard even beyond the blue skies.

Suddenly everything changes,
From elsewhere came the darkening clouds;
Stopping over.................,
The shadow obscuring the sun.

Then the rumble of the rolling thunder
overpowers the birds gentle songs,
The mighty thunder scares the birds.

Trees fall silent as the clouds darkens thick;
It sends down a single drop;
Then another and yet another one.
They patter on the leaves then onto the ground.

In no time the mighty delude overpowers the streams
as it floods to the banks swallowing dirty from the bush.
It cleans the forest as it prepares for the new season
to rein.

As the downpour ceases;
Like birds even trees shake drops of rain to the ground.
The birds tease the summer as it runs away from the
coming season, They bid farewell to it.

The branches swing as they rejoice
to welcome king Autumn.
Vegetation sinking beneath the earth,
Holding firm; it begins to grow in full bloom.
With flowers all over
Giving thanks to the mighty AUTUMN.

The Birds That Flocked Together

See, the birds gather!
The birds of a feather!
They're flocking together;
Singing together,
Playing together!

The big ones and the wees
Atop the linden trees.
With mirth and lively zings,
They splay their splashy wings!

Oh, how they revel in the sun,
Making the hunter call for his gun!
At the first gunshot-
Paaoow!
One's down for the pot!

The birds of a feather!
That flocked together!
That sang together!
That played together~
See them scattered!

Music

lines tangle
the cease mind, hibernate
in the season of time
hey! soul laugh
every joy, thou
ears wish to learn, the lips
hold to go home,
wait little angel, look
up the sky for the eternity
universe sing
for joy

music rings and
the echo of the axes
turn its part, sounded like
crumbled stone beneath
the ocean lines;
a calm of moment of time before
started to exist

the genuine life listen, where
the passion lives, leads
me to rest, as the turn
of tide subside...

Welcome Autumn

Now, early sunset and late sunrise,
days have trimmed short their size.
Schools, universities open after break,
maple's gold leaves go autumn break.

Valley dressed in flowers, coloured brisk,
wait next summer for recreation trips.
By sun falling, stars weep, shed tears,
cascading smoky damp, wets the air.

Birds flocking, planning to disappear;
to find warm nestle before winter nears.
Hello! season of harvest and abundance,
Confer to land, lot fruits and food grains.

Goodbye heat! Welcome season of festivity!
Love to peek the beauty of changeability.

Tweety Birds

Two tweety birds,
Hangout on a branch.
Two tweety birds,
Waiting for their lunch.

Their time is spent
Tweeting, preening in a bunch.
A ritual, a noise event.
Birds gather not in a 'bunch',

They stay together in a 'flock'.
I wrote 'bunch'
to rhyme with lunch.
So there, you have it in a block!

Birds of a feather flock together,
Sing melodious tunes
Birds of a feather in any weather,
Tweet in timely tunes.

I'm Free

I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.

I'm free to sing
even if my voice
is not like the voice of an angel
I'm free to dance
even if I'm out of the rhythm
I'm free to cry
even if it means to worry you
I'm free to laugh
even if my heart is aching
I'm free to love
even if it will only hurt me
I'm free to dream
even if I cannot reach it.

I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.

I'm free to be happy
even if I'm in the middle of crisis
I'm free to live
even if it will then
end in dying.

I'm free
as free as the birds
as free as the clouds
as free as the wind.

I'm free...
I'm free!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
(h. arlen/e.y. harburgh)
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
Theres a land that Ive heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
Thats where you find me
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why cant i
(instrumental)
Somewhere over the rainbow blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why cant i
If happy little blue birds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why, cant i

The lost Key

the air tells the wind when to fly, the stone
hold the mountain to stop and the night call
the darkness to shine the star above beyond
the universe, as envy entangle the galaxy
hangs on the heaven best of creation

watered me the distance of your heart and
push the every cloud near to my wondering
soul; the beginning of where the roots of
fading courage as it lose every glorious
moment of the past joy and happiness you
give

ever change the time that you'll with me in a
dream of reality, back then and try again
waiting not the magic of a real friend, may be
this is the time that love wouldn't end and
maybe it is you who'll take my heart

as you fill my life tonight, glows of darkness
flows in a dawning dream of every dreams,
an awakening stream of lonely years from
whom you want to hold ever more in every
moment of time, till love never ends

key my day and hold my heart......waiting the
season of moment to come and carried me
in your arm of forgiveness

shadowed the night, that leads open
wide the calmness heart that prays

swayed down the horizon of the sea

vast of memoir gossip my tears
until, droplets of spring wait the

Beg Me

Take one more step and its over
Back up slowly inside
Breathe too loud and Ill kill you
Get down on your knees and beg me
Beg me, beg
Beg me, beg me, beg
Take off all of your clothes
Lie face down on the bed
Move one inch and Ill shoot you
Make like a woman and beg me
Beg me, beg
I said, beg me, beg me, beg
Every night on tv
I see things that should make me blush
Looks like its going to be another open season
Open season on us
Open season, open season on us
Its the first hot day of the summer
Looks like theres gonna be thunder
Ive been sitting here all afternoon
Watching the clouds
You can see the sky from my window
Can feel the wind and smell the rain
And I dont see what difference it makes
If Im a man or a woman

Autumn On The Horizon

Autumn is on the horizon, I can tell
By the colored leaves that fell,
While all around the land was green,
The change in the season hardly seen.

Autumn is on the horizon, I can tell,
Orchard trees are fruitless as well.
Their outstretched boughs as if in a spell
As the succulent leaves begin to pale.

Autumn is on the horizon, I can tell,
Birds not singing on the porch rail
Sensing the coming of the autumn chill,
Prepare to flock on the nearby hill.

Autumn is on the horizon, I can tell
Seeing woolly caterpillars on the boarded well,
Squirrels scurrying across the ground
Where hickory nuts now abound.

Autumn is coming soon, if one believes,
The land will be covered with a blanket of leaves.
Flowers wilting beneath the hazy sky,
No longer attracting a beautiful butterfly.

A Day in a Hospital Ward

Looking out of the window,
I saw the birds flying.
Seeing them so free
I felt like crying.

Then a ‘voice’ said,
You are not here to stay.
So bear with the loneliness
Just for a day.

I got up and stood
Near the window,
And opened it to breathe
The fresh air from the meadow.

As it filled my lungs,
I began to feel light
And no longer envied
The birds their flight.

I got up and changed
And took myself to task,
And to bear with a smile
A day in a hospital ward.

The Seed of a Dandelion

My life is like a seed of a dandelion
It flies wherever the wind blows
Looking for the salvation
The land where I can land on

I will follow wherever the wind blows
I will fly if there are tomorrows
I will land to my bed of nest
The place where I go to rest

But if the wind drops me in the river
The river of pains and tears
I will force myself along the current
To find a land in the orient

If the wind will blow me again
The wind will blow me to the end
If I will go and die in this ride
I hope all the pain will subside

If the wind will dropp me in the land
The humus land where I can stand
I will go to sleep in peace
And will wait for morning kisses

Speak America

oh! the fountain of youth come now and
conquer the millennium, here again implant
the fashion of freedom; amidst every
discovery in the land of enlightenment, sit
off the Western horizon of where the eyes
wanting to see

great pleasure I wait is my guide, the
existing time leads the beats to forward the
heart that desire, for the end is but a start of
the line, of where every nothing is just a hold
on to catch the vision to dream, in the realm
of each beginning the prize will comes

listen patiently the offspring of hope
who lives amongst the youth of the hay, speak
dear silent of the Bees for the glad tiding of
the blooming flower waits the Butterfly to fly
and let the fertile soil ambit that glorious liberty,
as it touches the spring of life, gain of no pain
waits n that day

speak glorious America, the world
passionately listen of what meant to live and
paddle in the dawn of scented history of
package century; keep always the unforgettable
promise, that once we where strangers in the
foreign land

for every step I walk has kept my promise; that
turning back of where I begun, leads me to the
promise land I’ll go......

Land, Ho!

I know ’tis but a loom of land,
Yet is it land, and so I will rejoice,
I know I cannot hear His voice
Upon the shore, nor see Him stand;
Yet is it land, ho! land.

The land! the land! the lovely land!
‘Far off,’ dost say? Far off—ah, blessèd home!
Farewell! farewell! thou salt sea-foam!
Ah, keel upon the silver sand—
Land, ho! land.

You cannot see the land, my land,
You cannot see, and yet the land is there—
My land, my land, through murky air—
I did not say ’twas close at hand—
But—land, ho! land.

Dost hear the bells of my sweet land,
Dost hear the kine, dost hear the merry birds?
No voice, ’tis true, no spoken words,
No tongue that thou may’st understand—
Yet is it land, ho! land.

It’s clad in purple mist, my land,
In regal robe it is apparellèd,
A crown is set upon its head,
And on its breast a golden band—
Land, ho! land.

Dost wonder that I long for land?
My land is not a land as others are—
Upon its crest there beams a star,
And lilies grow upon the strand—
Land, ho! land.

Give me the helm! there is the land!
Ha! lusty mariners, she takes the breeze!
And what my spirit sees it sees—
Leap, bark, as leaps the thunderbrand—
Land, ho! land.

Summer's Here

The crackling of the fire,
The howl of the wind against my window,
The chirping birds in the night sky,
Makes me smile, happily,
But the death of the fire,
The wind just softly blowing,
And the silence of the birds in the night sky,
Makes me sad,
Because, winter is ending and summer is beginning.

Nature's Season's

Season's come and season's go,
There are four in each year,
Of our time keeping.
Spring,
Summer,
Autumn,
Winter,
In other parts of the world,
Their season's are called something else,

Each Season is,
Of different type,
Yet,
Two and Two,
To begin and become,
Spring shows the begining,
Of growth and new season,
So for plants,
Vegetation,
Spring Chickens,
Spring Lambs,
The Calflings,
The Fouls,
All come in the Spring,
And flourish in the Summer,

Summer shows bloom,
From the plants to the Fouls,
And all are seen in full bloom,
Even the birds and the bees,
Sing the songs,
Of spring and summer,
With the Sun's rays,
That shows nature,
In full bloom,

By the time,
All is in full bloom,
And what shows and blooms,
Blossoms all summer,
And just when we are relaxed,
And see no clouds in the sky,
The seson changes,
Beginning with,
The fall,

Autumn's,
Season,
Commences to begin,
Where,
All in bloom,
Falls away and decays,
While the rest,
Fly away,
And,
Migrate,
Or,
Hibernate,

And just when,
We have seen it all disappear,
The frost and snow,
Covers all over,
And chills the air,
Where the chilling effect,
Kills off all decay,
And the blue ice time period,
Takes over for a time,
Chilling,
Freeezing,
Keeping everything beneath the earth,
As winter sets itself right in,

And far beneath the froasted earth,
Is all in nature,
Rekindling itself,
To regrowth itself,
And then spring growth,
Again,
Next season,
That starts the circle of life,
2 x 2 = 4,
The four seasons,
Of,
Our circle of life,

Spring,
Summer,
Autumn,
Winter,
The four seasons,
Of ours,
That is 2 x 2,
Spring and Summer,
Then,
Autumn and Winter,
That makes it known,
As 4 seasons,
To us all.

In January In Duhallow

The cold winds of January from the north east does blow
And the weather is cold quite cold enough for to snow
And the hungry birds silent on the naked hedgerow
In the flat and rushy fields where the Blackwater flow.

January in Duhallow from here far away
In the chill of the morning the frost bound fields gray
In the farmyard sheds cattle bellow for silage or hay
Where the sun seldom shines on a January day.

The distinctive harsh caws of the silver backed crow
In the Season where grass does refuse for to grow
And few cars on the roadway that leads to the town
Near where the river flows bank high in flood waters of brown.

In January in Duhallow the old fields looking bare
With the harsh chill of Winter in the cold Morning air
And at least eight long weeks till the first breath of Spring
When Nature will bloom and her wild birds will sing.
