Carpe diem
Carpe diem
Sieze the day
As I meditate
Things appears to be out of control
Yet, I shall still pursue and overtake
Anyway
Carpe diem
Is what I say
After all
Saper vedere
As I realize
that it is
mind over matter
Which helps
along the way?

My time has been passed viciously and agreeably at thirty-one so few years months days hours or minutes remain that 'Carpe Diem' is not enough. I have been obliged to crop even the seconds-for who can trust to tomorrow
Even the cuckoo has to find its layer...
All fledgling poetry starts in the stoic hearts nest
Even the cuckoo has to find its layer...
Somewhere near to ostracize the rest:
In order to “Carpe diem” and be the Purveyor...
Over all he has cruelly dispossessed:
But often; like the magpie, he’s an empty naysayer.
That honestly nobody wants to ingest...

On Reading a Vast Anthology
Love, death, sleeping
with somebody else's husband
or wife-this
is what poetry is
about-Eskimo, Aztec,
or even Italian
Rinascimento,
or even the high falutin Greeks
or noble Roman-O's.
O the constant turmoil
of the human species-
beds, graves, Spring with its
familiar rosebuds, the wrong beds,
the wrong graves, wars
unremembered & boundaries gained
only to be lost & lost
again
& lost roses whose lost
petals
reminded poets to carpe, carpe
diem with whoever's wife
or husband happened to
be handiest!
O Turmoil & Confusion-
you are my Muses!
O longing for a world
without death, without beds
divided by walls between houses!
All the beds float out to sea!
All the dying lovers wave
to the other dying lovers!
One of them writes on his mistress's skin as he floats.
He is the poet.
Not for this
will his life be spared.

Yann Lester: 24th April 1996
Yesterday he strolled along the streets,
Absorbed impressions, filmed them in his mind,
Now is Life's lens shuttered, left behind
Now is life's corpus swathed in winding sheets.
Life's objects Reason knows not, Time defeats,
Ephemeral Man's season's span assigned:
Sun sets so soon, fresh generations, blind,
The treadmill turn till Destiny each meets.
Extract the marrow from both joy, deceits,
Refuse responsabilities that bind,
Yet freely give, forgive, in each day find
A motivation which base boredom beats.
Now is important, daily give and take,
NOW LIVE! As motto, Carpe Diem take!

A[s]ail - Prose Poem
A sail –
brave paling, ailing -
on the dead sea mirror
of man’s anonymity, -
not a pretty picture!
The world is midwife
to its own rebirth
and sexton to its
own interment. A lost
generation spreadeagled
across the pillow of life,
asea, dissarray on the billows
while the bellows roar
and the smoke stacks pour
before that final belch
relieves them of motion.
With a new world still in flux
beneath the mental horizon of the workless masses,
Carpe Diem’s drum attracts
when all else lacks -
save flailing, failing -
a short sale...

Taste the Difference II - Acrostic Sonnet
The day will come when one in sadness waits
A footstep which won't echo any more,
So Carpe Diem, do not try to score,
To win a penny from the faceless Fates.
Enjoy all life can offer, counterfeits
Time swallows in an instant, skin and core.
Heaven is an old wives' tale, closed door,
Except where life bears witness, opens gates
Divine when true osmosis reinstates
Ideals which, shared, surpass what came before.
Fire, Air, Earth, Water henceforth won't ignore
Feelings free which strength combined creates.
ERE Now, apart, half-hearted two parts played,
CErtain Way through karma’s now displayed...

Thoughts On Immortality
To bide beside belovèd or to stand
and serve through waiting only seems the same,
for death soon shall be shrugged off, understand
how mankind sloughs mortality, sin, blame.
Nature's ways were mystery that now
is jigsaw almost solved, regeneration
soon will bypass taboo - that holy cow
that tramples on both sainthood, sinning nation.
The Paradise some seek without delay
in Carpe Diem hides its pastures green
sublime and there's no piper god to pay
Pan plays fresh hand to trump historic scene.
How could one's death afford or pain or sorrow
when Death, left breathless, endless calls tomorrow.

One wanders on and wonders much - 1387 - Current Version
Pillows' billows set deceptive scene,
surface calm masks sadness few ignore,
one-sided sleep has hibernation been,
dreams teem with team but rhyme with rime in store.
Lonely, at dawn, one wanders from the room.
Experience seeds prudence. What before
may lie that may belie deception's gloom,
or answers find that confidence restore?
Day's page is turned, one mask asks of fate's doom,
festina lente? carpe diem's roar?
which way will stitch win, loss, uncertain loom -
responses rich? or hung, drawn, lovelorn core?
Door closed, one wanders on and wonders much
hope's tightrope comes at price too few dare touch.

Persistence Aquiescence Resistance Senescence
A QUI LE TOUR?
Persistence Aquiescence Resistance Senescence
PARS for the course FOREVER … à qui le tour
Forever's fleeting fame has been
Often cited though time's doom
Remains omnipotent, life's scene
Echanges vows that catacomb
Vast hides, - love's pride's interred unseen.
Enchantment Carpe Diem! sings,
Regrets projecting angel wings.
For angel wings and pastures green
Or hot lust, cold cussed, bust and boom,
Regretfully illusions' sheen
Ever reflect until dark tomb
Vain aspirations ploughs between
Each pair despair marks with time's ring.
R.I.P. can't quiescence bring.

Brackets 0269
Break down stored brackets, restore spirit's soar,
Refuse restrictions, even golden cage,
As fame has second thoughts, untimely age
Celebrity converts to dust. Therefore,
Karma of light and laughter seek, sure core,
Enlightenment before Life's final page
Turns to find one absent from its stage.
Steer truthwards, fancy, fiction, shed, sure shore.
Behind lies Lethe, Lethe lies before,
Recorded time provides no living wage
Afterwards for archivists who'd gauge
Concerns or motives held in times of yore,
Knowledge sift to lift life's lid and pour
Excited over causal links, engage
Tenaciously in quibbling why, wherefore.
Sing Carpe Diem while one holds life's floor.

{A Wind of Change} (song lyrics)
A wind of change is coming.
This has been foreseen.
A wind of change is coming.
Soon it will be seen.
For if men are men,
and not mer mice.
Will stand our ground,
in this noble fight.
March around with flags held high.
Embrace the change
as it roles on by.
Won't stop it,
can't stop us.
You're eyes closed.
We see light.
A wind of change is coming.
As we steady on.
A wind of change is coming.
To this we will belong.
Can't kick us down,
can't pick a fight.
Will hold our own,
with all our might.
Where here where there
where every where.
Strengthened by the change,
nothing can compare.
Not alone,
change is life.
You lecture,
now we strike.
A wind of change is coming.
Clouds begin to clear.
A wind of change is coming.
Much like a snarling steer.
This noble fight,
now seems so right.
We've tested time,
and persevered.
Though hated, shunned,
and held in fear.
Carpe Diem is what will cheer.
It is time,
we won't die.
It's our right,
to live life.

Who Is The Best Among Us? ....
i dont ever think about who is best i agree theres no one who deserves the title.
nobody no one
who is here is an internal struggle others may pretend they know happiness forget the past do not mind the future
carpe diem grab what is near you and live for the moment even only for an existence of a second like a mythical moss the flowers that bloom today tomorrow shall be dying
why do you worry about who is best is that important is that the gauge of what we are doing is that the temptation the reason the raison d etre for scribbling lots of words and befriending phrases for praises
absolutely one who stays longer here agrees that it is not simply because we are here because out there nobody care nobody hears our scream on that not so well painted boat against a lousy pastel horizon beside a nearby volcanic eruption
do not read why do you go find another place where you think the best and the mufti-awarded where the laureates exist and be the clapping hands buy tickets for their reading sessions and care to listen
leave us we are free to be dumb
eager to be idiots lusting to be morons
happy to be nincompoops
see the world is a wide ocean limitless space and full of the anonymous
those great spirits live in heaven as we try our best to thrive in what perhaps you call rightfully as
hell.

what? just what do you really mean. Tell me.
is it your last word
but mine was different and you know it
whatever that means
i said 'hello'
and what is it that you mean by 'what? '
do you mean ' what you did for love? '
i mean it, my love for you is always a hello
and there is no word for 'goodbye'
i know how to always begin
right from where we started
when we made the doodles
when we combined the colors
(of our longings and wishes)
when we painted the flowers
and cats and dogs
when everything seems hormonal
did we call it a chemical romance?
or just connecting chains
from time to time, those chains of
love
(i am sounding corny) , yes, the chains
of the past, connecting to the present
(there we stop to ponder and)
i guess, there is no future
there is no us, out there
but is it not that love is only concerned
with the
now? the moment, the day that we must seize
(carpe diem, touchee!)
if and if the future is nothing but this word
'goodbye', i will not proceed to go there
i stay here, and savor the moment
of today
this 'hello', and your 'what? ' a question
an open one
like your arms always willing to embrace me
again
(oh, you never really embraced me)
i guess
you must delet the word 'again'
let your arms be open
embrace me, i am cold, and let me say this over and over again
(without shame)
i always miss you
and i will be with you again
even just to see you and not hold you in my arms
my love............................................. .........................................(sigh)

Carpe Diem
jasmine sends
its mindblowing
fragrance, allure
before it drops
to the ground
stepped on
and crushed
the pretty lass
picks her best
to cloth her years
colouring them with
dreams, excitements,
love, heartbreaks and all
before she loses her greatest asset
lined with lines that spread cancerous like spears
to stab at the heart
grandma's wedding pic
so dreamy her eyes
the man holding tight at the waist
beefing up her best years
jasmine sends its scent to the wind
a innocent pretty lass praying for love to come
inspired by
Carpe Diem
O mistress mine, where are you roaming?
O stay and hear! your true-love's coming
That can sing both high and low;
Trip no further, pretty sweeting,
Journey's end in lovers' meeting-
Every wise man's son doth know.
What is love? 'tis not hereafter;
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What's to come is still unsure:
In delay there lies no plenty, -
Then come kiss me, Sweet and twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.

What Will You Do Today?
What will you do today?
Sorry to hear your unhappy.
What is wrong? Your on holiday.
Nothing much to do no money?
Broke? Spent a lot of money
you did not have this summer?
Still paying for it? This is life.
The money is gone spent
for choices reasons made.
This makes you unhappy?
Enough for each day its own evil.
Have you not many blessings
to be grateful for? Carpe Diem.
Oh yes, I have. I do not have
a problem with this, another
here can’t seem to live within
our means and be happy.
Working on that too.
“Happy are those conscious
of their spiritual need,
since the kingdom of the
heavens belongs to them.
“Happy are those who mourn
since they will be comforted.
“Happy are the mild-tempered ones,
since they will inherit the earth.
“Happy are those hungering
and thirsting for righteousness,
since they will be filled.
“Happy are the merciful,
since they will be shown mercy.
“Happy are the pure in heart,
since they will see God.
“Happy are the peaceable,
since they will be called ‘sons of God.’
“Happy are those who have been
persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
since the kingdom of the heavens
belongs to them.
“Happy are YOU when people reproach
YOU and persecute YOU
and lyingly say every sort of wicked
thing against YOU for my sake.
“Rejoice and leap for joy, since YOUR reward
is great in the heavens; for in that way
they persecuted the prophets prior to YOU.” Matthew 5: 3-12.
Thus spoke Jesus after he went up
into the mountain and sat and began
teaching his (talmidim) disciples. Matthew 5: 1-2.
Blessed are all who follow these sacred teachings.

My Mind
My mind,
I find
Is not
The most interesting place.
The realization
Hits me in the face.
I am amazed,
I have allowed
It to control
My days
And nights,
Even my dreams
When I sleep.
Oh, now I know,
Why they say
Meditate,
To achieve
A state of stillness
And heightened awareness.
to step out
Of the mind, I don’t always
Have to sit with my eyes closed.
Tending to my Roses,
Baking a cake,
Walking by the lake,
Writing on my pad,
Playing with my cat,
Are some of the things
Which make me hum and sing,
And get out of my mind
Stepping back helps me gain
Peace and new insight.
