Blue...
Have you ever really notice the color blue?
This color varies in shades, as to change right before you.
There's midnight blue, slate blue, ocean blue and navy blue as
Iam yet to mention there are other shades too.
Then there is the mood blue,
When life seems so gloomy, you know not what to do.
Even as I ponder about the color blue,
I find this matter to be exactly true, that is
still more to discover about this color we all know as blue.

Blue Me
Blue me, blue me
Blue is the color
That fits best on me
Im blue
Just as blue as can be
Blue me, blue me
I cry
And I die
I lie awake at night
And I question why
Must it be
I can never be free
Blue me, blue me
My heart is heavy
But its empty inside
No one to love me
Or to lay down beside
Im blue
The queen of sorrow
Wears royal blue
My luck aint changin
Is it ever goin to
Im blue, oh Im blue
Why must I wear this robe of blue misery
Blue me, blue me
Ooh
This sad old feeling
Is breakin me down
No satisfaction with these blues hangin round
Lord, Im blue
Oh, Im so blue
Why cant I shake it tell me where will this end
When will I get out of this blue rut Im in
Oh, Im blue
Looks like the blues just took a liking to me
Blue me, blue me
Blue me, blue me
Blue is the color that fits best on me
Ooooh, Im blue
Im just as blue as can be

Blue is the Color
Blue is the sky
late at night
blue is the sky
early in the morning
blue is the sky
in the midst of day
blue is the sky
blue is the sky
and the rain
and the clouds
that comes falling down
blue is the color
of peace and mellow
blue is the color
of sadness and sorrow
blue is the color
of all
of life

Ocean Blue
Well you took me home
And you took me back
But deep down inside
The feeling just died and i
Couldnt see why
From indigo to royal blue
I travel far but no one will do
Anytime, anyplace
Every shape every face
Brings memories of you
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
Fair weather friends might drift away
When summer ends and skies burn grey
So I walk to the ocean
Pilot these shores
Just thinking of you
Its time we kissed the clouds goodbye
From now on its strictly blue sky
Come rain and shine
The outlook is still fine
Im thinking of you
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean blue
Ocean blue, ocean ocean
Ocean, ocean
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue
Blue to be blue
To be blue
Ocean blue - ocean blue
I stand at the head of the queue
Theres mutinys every crew
Wishin and wonderin bout you

Azul....
Shades of blue confronts the
man in blue, so blue, but not
electric blue, the blue in faded jeans
saddening blue, the blue in marble,
glossy, but sadder still, the faint
blue of a heavy sky, laden with rain
some restraints, falling suppressed,
the blue in that deserted lagoon,
those blue Spanish eyes gone,
the navy blue without an address,
the blue lips, lesser in oxygen
content,
the bluebird perched upon a twig,
kingfisher blue without a fish,
a blue heart, pastel blue shirt
torn blue, blues, blue bruises....
the puerto azul....

Now that youre gone away

Its been a lonesome day

I miss your caress

The Hand That Rocks The Craddle Pink
Pink used to be the preferred color for boys.
Clouds of white for girls.
The cradle... optimistically oufitted in pink,
is the color for boys, that for a girl being true blue.
Blue) a Virgin’s color (
used once for girls and pink for boys tossed out.
Pink, is as a shade of red
was considered masculine it is a “fierce color”
while blue is frilly and decidedly delicate.
Reason goes is that pink being more a decided
and stronger color is more suitable for the boy,
while blue,
which is more delicate and dainty, is a prettier fop
than poor the toiling girl.
Boys in pink.
Blue girls and is quite tamed in us famous,
but she also has a less known work called,
The naughty pink smile.
Children named Charles were not all girls
and where the girls and Elizabeth
are in baby blue while the boys are dressed in red.

I Color You Blue (For Mother)
I Color You Blue(For you, Mom)
Every new day your beauty unfold
Feeling this life so gentle and true
What a sight, lo and behold
I vow to you, my lady in blue
An inspiring woman indeed you are
Epitome of kindness, loveliness
Reviving this heart, i vow to you
As i color your life gentle and blue
Your sweetness endures my pain
Your comfort a confidence gain
Your strength is my hope
Your touch, the window of my soul
A watchful eye who loves us
Praying to the Lord to guide us
The dawn now appears
A peaceful beginning you always did
A reason to smile, to remember
Mother, ..you are always in my heart
As i color you blue, my lady in blue

Ode to the color blue
There’s ever so much more to blue
Than just a color
It’s as much an emotion
As it is a hue
Blue is the tender soul
Of sky, flower and ocean
And the blessing and bane
Of me and you
Dye of desperation
Paint of despair
Wistful wash of wisdom
And the pale shade of prayer
A name for a pet
A descriptor of sea
Four letter word…Tho’
The best one that could be
It is substance, it has meaning
Is nothing, yet so many things…
All the while, tis just a color
Only a color, ...yet a color with wings

What is the color of love?
What is the color of love?
I'll paint it with RED.
Do you ask me why? Because.....
Red roses are the symbol of love,
Red sunrises are the symbol of life.
What is the color of love?
I think I'll paint it with ORANGE.
I'll give it to you by the segments.
It looks so naive but....
You have to believe.
What is the color of love?
And now I'll paint it with YELLOW.
It's the sunshine of the bright day.
It's the color of flowers in spring.
What is the color of love?
I'll better paint it with GREEN.
'Green grass of home...',
Green leaves, green piece...
What is the color of love?
I think I'll paint it with BLUE.
It's the color of the sky,
It's the color of freedom,
It's the color of seas and oceans
It's the color of the devotions.
What is the color of love?
It is sometimes dark blue
When the ocean is angry
When someone's love is not true.
What is the color of love?
May be it is VIOLETTE?
Don't try to guess
As I'd like here to confess:
It's a RAINBOW!

Blue On Blue
Found your picture in an old coat
And the ghost stirred deep inside.
All this time and I still feel the cold
From the madness in my pride.
Don't know why you ended it that way
I would've thought that you would tell
me to my face
CHORUS
Color me blue on blu
Color me sadness without you.
Color me blue on blue
And I will wear it well.
I will wear it well.
Painted someone from a vision.
You saw the future in his eyes.
I know that wasn't how you pictured me.
You stole my hope, now I'll never know why.
Two hearts who began to beat as one.
I guess you scared yourself
And now you're on the run.

Brown And Blue, Revised....
it is not between blue
or brown
it is of this earth
within the
coolness of blue
it is when the brown
shades of this
skin
are spread
when the blue shades of your eyes rest
upon the floor
of my belly
that my navel beats
like a tadpole in that pond
as brown and scarlet
take once more the interlinking of my earthly arms
to the blueness of your skies
it is when color
seek each other's hold
it is when when they mix
and blend
that tones and scents become
as perfect as both

Black And Blue (feat. Phyllis Hyman And Tom Scott)
(Duet with Phyllis Hyman)
LYRICS BY ADRIENNE ANDERSON
MUSIC BY BARRY MANILOW AND TOM KELLY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BARRY:
There are no stars tonight, There are no words to say
I feel my soul losing you
PHYLLIS:
Where did the good times go, Baby what can we do
Color our love
BOTH:
Black and blue, Black and blue
PHYLLIS:
When our hearts were young, Clinging to each other
Moonlight used to glow
BOTH:
When our hearts were young, Then there was no other
BARRY:
Whyd we let it go
Down on the avenue, You can forget your name
BOTH:
Paint pretty pictures, False and true
BARRY:
Picture what weve become
PHYLLIS:
Running is all we do
Color our love
BOTH:
Black and blue, Black and blue
Looks like a storm tonight
A storm is overdue
Color our love
Black and blue, Black and blue, Oh

What Are We?
1) Two legs sat upon three legs,
With one leg in his lap;
In comes four legs
And runs away with one leg;
Up jumps two legs,
Catches up three legs,
Throws it after four legs,
And makes him dropp one leg.
What are we?
2) Old Mother Twitchett had but one eye,
And a long tail which she let fly;
And every time she went over a gap,
She left a bit of her tail in a trap.
3) Thirty white horses upon a red hill,
Now they tramp, now they champ, now they stand still.
What are we?
We have nothing to say today
We are being asked
What are we
And we think we are bullied
Because
Because we think we know what we are
Because we think we are the obvious
Plain like blue clouds, blue seas, blue kingfishers
Blue, blues, blue bruises, blue flag,
Blue crayon, blue surplus cars
Electric blue, shades of blue
We are black and blue
We feel blue
We think blue
We are blue.
And the obvious is like the biggest mountain ahead of us
And they ask: what is that?
And they see us
And ask us what are we?
Aren’t they all crazy?
We respect them and tell them nothing.
we have nothing to say forevermore.

Thursday Afternoon
Her life is a show
One act follows the other everywhere she goes
She takes the leading role
She never plays herself
Save for the time shes on the stage
Color her black or white
Now either one reflects the teardrops
One extreme for the other
Nothing in between
Color her white for the princess she could be
Color her black for the troubled child she plays so well
Well shes dancing through hell on a dream
And blue is soul of the one
Reaching for the man that she hasnt got yet
And holding on to those hearts for lost causes
She could be so bright
But shes reaching for us all
Color her blue for the loneliness she feels
Shes hiding her heart in the sky
And this is a thursday afternoon
Its just another thursday afternoon
Its just another thursday afternoon
Color me grey
Im a little bit of everything today
And Im not sure just where Im going
Color me grey
Wishing I was something more of distinction
Color us all cause were just stars
Wishing our lives away
Into the distance
And out of existence
Color her black or white
Color her blue
Or color me grey
Color us all - were stars
Wishing our lives away
Now were stars

Colors Of Love
lue is a color - that i'm seeing for the very first time
in the skies - in your eyes
every time we're together and you put your little hand in mine
blue is a feeling - that i'm never gonna have again
can't be blue - i've got you
and lady in you i've found a lover and a friend
whenever i'm with you - color me happy
whenever we touch - color me hot
you color my world in
colors of love - shades of emotion
at the end of the rainbow
we found everlasting love and devotion
red are the roses - that you're holding in your hand
when you need - tender lovin'
pretty lady you know i'm your man
red is the color - of the passion that i feel for you
when it's hot - burnin' up
sexy lady you know i'm so in love with you
whenever i'm with you - color me happy
whenever we touch - color me hot
you color my world in
colors of love - shades of emotion
at the end of the rainbow
we found everlasting love and devotion
colors of love
