In The Quietness of The Moment
In my thoughts –mind in stress
In my thoughts - self seeks rest
Heart - seeks solace
Heart - receives brief succor
I and me -shared insight
I and myself –anew a few
Soul, I, partner, and
'complete themselves in one another'

Thoughts Mind Soul Echoes
thoughts like children
scatter from our mind
thoughts were part of us?
thoughts came from us?
thoughts live beyond us?
thoughts outlive our lives?
thoughts mind soul echoes
haunting fragments of mind
light shines through prisms
separates into colour bands
thought trails sunset colours
spectrum ribbons thoughts
spiral into keen conceptions
meaning insight discriminates

Find Rest My Soul In Lyric’s Chime
Find rest my soul in lyric’s chime,
Refreshed anew by making rhyme.
It’s course my thoughts direct the paths
That make my mind to sing.
When all the world in chaos sways
A refuge here I find.
I feel my mind has wings.
With pen and poem I find new ways,
To speak to all mankind.
My poems, my thoughts, I find may last;
My world renewed by taking time,
With rest refreshed by making rhyme.

Wants- sex definer
A confident woman, the man seeks.
An intelligent man, the woman seeks.
A good-featured woman, the man seeks.
A good-natured man, the woman seeks.
A modest woman, the man seeks.
An intellectual man, the woman seeks.
A virtuous woman, the man seeks.
A chivalrous man, the woman seeks.
Be graceful, women!
Be brave, men!

Distractions
Distractions
~
I seek to distract myself
So thoughts will not be forgotten
More kept elsewhere for a while
Have them otherwise entertained
A busy mind has no time to idle
To wander about the what ifs and whys
Those fruitless agonies considered
In the dull silences and quiet hours
It’s a duel of attention, distraction
When strong thoughts resist my ignorance
A book becomes a struggle
While the wayward mind wanders still
Thoughts resist to be kept at bay
However I seek to distract myself
To leave certain thoughts for a while
That I may rest my soul

An Angel's Voice
One soul finds its perfect mate, and is forever blessed;
A love again found, now blossoms, after many years repressed.
What would be the sense of that amazing smile,
If it were not created specifically to gladden my soul! ? !
Where would I be now, or all the while,
Should I not have this beauty to make me whole! ? !
Why would God have created those diamond-perfect eyes,
If they were not to see how much felicity you bring! ? !
He is obviously in a perfect position to realize
The blessed nature of the hearts He is now re-introducing.
Why would you be given an Angel's voice,
If it were not to speak for me! ? !
It is not as though I were given a choice:
As your heart seeks for me, my heart seeks for thee!

Past, Present and Future
Preamble:
Thoughts and ideas like those of a sage
(or are they memories of a bygone age?)
flash in my mind now and set the stage
of what there soon again may likely be
when for a while here we become free
and without any clouds the horizon see.
----------
The past is always there to look back and reflect upon
not to live in as a prisoner that seeks no escape from.
The present is the current moment where we are now
always looking for a direction which to go somehow.
The future is what we can all really make it out to be
if in our mind we're strong and clear in what we see.

Only In My Mind
thoughts fire
mind blaze
run on wind
words sing mind melodies
words sing song new images
dance in heart veins flow
words shape shift
into new thoughts
concepts poems
several are written
in time heart beats
wonder stirs anew
but only in my mind
where the beauty sings
sung sight meditation
no words given unto paper
no words processed on light screen
no words kept mind record
dart of honeybird flight
bats fly sonar night vision
wing beats of wonder
words released born free

I Come To You
Today my Lord I come to you
and within your eyes I hope to find
what all mankind seeks
that of peace of mind.
My heart and soul is open
for your message to receive.
The one that brings purity
and peace to set me free
from the burdens that I carry
from dawn to dusk.
Take the blackness
from my heart and mind
and free me thus.
Oh, Lord I beseech you
within my darkest hour
to take away those sins
for which my body wants to devour.
Take away my hurtful thoughts
that spiral in my head.
Take any jealousy
away from my sleep.
Take my soul to your side
and cleanse it with your might.
That I may travel down
the right road
by day and by night.
Amen

If Only I Could Be With You
And outside the wind is blowing
Through the thoughts in my mind
Thinking a feeling is growing
But inside my heart Im alone
I have a heart, a heart for a woman
I have a promise, of this I will swear
And I have a love that wont be forgotten
I have a life thats going nowhere
I just wanna be with you
Hold you like I used to do, time after time, yeah
Give my heart and soul to you
And only if you wanted to
If only I could be with you
I hear the wind whisper your name
Taking my thoughts again far away
Im dreaming of living a life full of love
And you out there, calling my name, saying
I just wanna be with you
Hold you like I used to do, time after time, yeah
Give my heart and soul to you
And hoping that you feel it too
If only I could be with you
I walk the streets so all alone,
Holding hands with a distant past
And how longs it gonna last, could it be forever
She cant hear me, she cant hear me
If only (only)
If only I could be with you
Just a little time with you, yeah
I just wanna be with you
Hold you like I used to do, time after time, yeah
Give my heart and give my soul to you
And only if you wanted to
If only I could be with you
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Time after time, yeah
Give my heart and soul to you
And hoping that you feel it too
If only I could be with you

Missing
To Leucha Mary Warner
He is 'Missing,' and forlorn
Drag her days in grief and pain.
Every morn a hope is born,
Only to be lost again.
'Missing!' Almost better 'Killed.'
The long anguish breaks her heart
That's a dead thing, numbed and chilled
Till the live fear bids it start.
Now a knocking at the door,
Now a shouting in the street,
Makes her poor heart run before,
The most bitter news to meet.
'Missing!' It may be he dies
'Mid his foes and comfortless.
When sleep shuts her heavy eyes,
Still she seeks him in distress.
Dear, he is not missing, not lost.
Rest your heart as on a bed.
For the One who loves him most
Knows where he has laid his head.
He accounted of all worth,
This beloved bought with a price,
Watchers look East, South, and North
From the heights of Paradise
Lest that he take any ill.
Still the Mighty Lover goes,
Seeks the beloved o'er many a hill.
Be at rest, dear child! He knows!

Our Dreams Within Us Start
So fragile is the mind that seeks,
A peace that seems so out of reach.
So impatient does one like this become...
When a bitterness sits,
To feel invited and welcomed.
And seeking from outside ourselves,
Is a journey never ending.
What is wished already exists.
But our hearts overlook this,
In a desperate yearning.
So fragile is the mind that seeks,
A peace that seems so out of reach.
If we just stop to quiet our desires.
We will realize we have not kindled...
A motivation to inspire,
Those dreams that are our own...
Left for someone else to come to spark!
And that is not the way,
Our dreams within us start!
So fragile is the mind that seeks,
A peace that seems so out of reach.
And we keep this seeking beseeched to plead...
To be fed!
Yet remain so out of touch!
Misunderstanding this need within us,
We can begin to feed in concentrated prayer.
If we spent more time being there,
In it!

To Be Fully Human!
hand to hand, brother,
our backs against the wall.
with nothing left to cling to...
but each other!
mind to mind, sister,
your thoughts free my thoughts,
my thoughts affirm yours....
understanding is the bridge....
heart to heart, my friend,
we are joined by the destiny
for which we were born....
love is the motion.
soul to soul, my family,
if you hurt i hurt,
if i need you need...
one hope, one desire....
to be fully human!

A Heart For The Taking
My heart is yours for the taking
Sweet girl it is all but yours
I find my thoughts of you distracting
How I labour through hope
That I may yet kiss you someday
You have never give me a word
Or a sign of your affection
Leaving my heart appearing foolish
You are kind, loving, intelligent
Your sense of humour and smile
Part of the reason I find you beautiful
How could I not fall for you
How could my heart not wish for yours
In abundance I wish for your company
To enact each written facet of romance
And what of you and your thoughts
And I destined to guess forever
Or are my greatest fears to be realised
My heart is yours for the taking
Sweet girl it is all but yours

Gandhiji Seeks Freedom
Bartered for violence, corruption, liquor....
Gandhiji seeks Freedom
Freedom from the heart of currency notes!
Quoted by politics, history, culture....
Gandhiji seeks Freedom
Freedom from the mouth of hypocrisies!
Showcased in squares, in buildings, in cites....
Gandhiji seeks Freedom
Freedom from the eyes of his crucifiers!
Masqueraded by every Tom, Dick and Harry
Gandhiji seeks Freedom
Freedom from the hands of his deceitful dupes!
I Thought You A Letter Today
I thought you a letter today-though it, I do not write-
I shall save its content until you are within my sight;
There exists so very much I wish to say,
Yet, I decided for same, to wait for the day
When your visage is not just in my mind and heart. When I am at last with you, I shall impart
Many, many thoughts that perhaps I have not shared;
Perhaps I was a feared, and thus, have not dared;
Still, as our union has been, by distance, slowed,
We have, as yet, not ventured down that beautiful road!
I have dreamt so many dreams I need to share,
Whence consideration is gathered upon we two, as a pair;
Each and every time when this somniation is rendered complete,
Only the ardor of our impending amorous amative, may compete!

My Time Given Seeks No Reward
A stain has been left on it.
A path I pave.
I suspect someone,
Has taken it for granted.
Believing it easy...
To chase me away!
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
Footprints are all over it.
And trashed by disrespect.
Although none of this was expected...
I accept this with regret.
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
To move forward is a personal quest.
Obstacles challenge.
And they will be faced...
With the best from me,
Unseen yet!
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
I am not motivated,
By spotlight!
Or applause.
Nor am I awed,
By my own accomplishments.
Those things done...
Are released.
Not stored.
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
I continue to be 'me'...
Even when I am ignored.
I choose to adventure.
I choose to explore.
And in 'this' time given,
I do not seek to reach for reward.
My mission is not to sit with impatience.
Or wait for an approval...
Until I am bored.
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
Nor do I rush to aboard a ship,
Not of my accord!
To agree or reconcile with to fit!
My time given,
Seeks no reward.
And I will not investigate,
The slithering movements...
Done to deceive by a snake.

Warchild ('78 Demo)
Warchild, your heart is broken
Your mind is breakin', it's such a shame
Warchild, your body's broken
Your woman's taken, it's not a game
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams
Warchild, I used to love you
The whole world loved you, we used to care
Warchild, your mind has been emptied
So all you do now is just sit n' stare
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams
Your lady's waiting, she's hesitating
Not knowing why
Warchild, the pain you're showing
The pain is knowing that you're gonna die
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams

The Beginning Of Understanding....
it is not the head
do not be misled
it is not the finer thoughts
but the shady ones
where you must find comfort
and it is not
in those neurons of
convoluted matter
that will make the finest
being in you
than the rest of this ocean
of humanity
rest a little
do not think
unload what bias of thoughts are there
be renewed,
anew
feel the coolness of the tree
listen to the song of the
sea breeze
lay your head on the breasts
of this earth
it is where
the heart is.

My Thoughts
Thought in the eyes,
The ears.
Thought in mind,
The brain,
Thought in heart,
The soul.
Great thought is great
when it becomes great deeds.
With my thoughts within
Building my world within
Learning with thought;
Is great learning wisdom.
Learning without thought,
Is opportunity lost.
Thought for others
Thought for God
Thought for good
Thought for God’s blessing
Thoughts teach me,
Thoughts educate me,
Thoughts clarify me,
Thoughts enlighten me.
Thoughts make me wise
Thoughts make me patience
Thoughts make me trust others
Thoughts make me clam.
Thoughts before act
Is smart and wise
Act before thoughts
Is stupid and foolish
That’s my thoughts
They make thinking clear
They make belief deepen
They make confidence high.
In thoughts, my world
In my world, make my thoughts.
In thoughts, my words
In my words, make my speech
It’s my thoughts count
Counting my thoughts
To endless counting thoughts
Thinking the thoughts endlessly
My thoughts and thoughts again.

My First
She:
I freeze Time this night
in making love to you
your mouth has within it forever-ness:
you've restored to me my mental virginity
in this my love-making with you
releasing those sexual bonds
which wrap around existence itself
making time cease
making my woman-hood feel complete
me taking your man-hood
making it meld
with my woman-side
He:
I feel you shudder
wrapping your heart
around me
embracing my need
drawing from me
more than
I have ever given
making me rise for you
making me complete;
you and I
gasping.
It is not merely the touching
but too, the release:
not merely the holding
but the sweling out-
the overwhelming
needful need;
not merely
our quiverings
but too the inhalings
in
and the trembling outs
the welcoming intensities
the thrusting;
animal lust
and the clinging
loving
simultaneously.
Draw away;
this moment now
because
my opening soul
seeks eternity
propelled by gushing
crying
gratitude
and
our hungry mouths
kissing.
