Wild Orphan

Blandly mother
takes him strolling
by railroad and by river
-he's the son of the absconded
hot rod angel-
and he imagines cars
and rides them in his dreams,

so lonely growing up among
the imaginary automobiles
and dead souls of Tarrytown

to create
out of his own imagination
the beauty of his wild
forebears-a mythology
he cannot inherit.

Will he later hallucinate
his gods? Waking
among mysteries with
an insane gleam
of recollection?

The recognition-
something so rare
in his soul,
met only in dreams
-nostalgias
of another life.

A question of the soul.
And the injured
losing their injury
in their innocence
-a cock, a cross,
an excellence of love.

And the father grieves
in flophouse
complexities of memory
a thousand miles
away, unknowing
of the unexpected
youthful stranger
bumming toward his door.

Lonely Dreams,

Lonely Dreams,
There is nothing that is to be changed,
Coming all the way,
Lonely Dream,
Lonely Days,
Come and see this soul all Dedicated unto thee,
You will be mine,
All mine for keep’s,
Think that the Race is all never ending,
My stories ever percolating,
Lonely Dreams,
Come and make this Beauty Achieved,
The Race is on the Lonely ground,
No crew to keep my throne,
I keep calling that you ever balling,
Remain with the lonely dream that the soul is on the ground’s,
The parlay,
The game that is on the Increase,
Think that the greater that style,
The Beauty of that Lonely Dream,
Come and Understand the Clear Picture all Between us,
That you will never Tear me Apart,
Call on me,
Realize that you alone is the man,
Operate all Clearly and see that this love is not yet through.

Imaginary Choices

Imaginary!
I can imagine your blessed innocence,
You muse and speculate in your imagination.
Ahh, what a relief to believe that I truly have a choice in this!
Your imagination gives me hope.
Your certainty strong,
Your judgment steadfast.

If I had your imagination, I could blush at my silliness
Give myself a swift kick and stern reproach.
They are just choices you know!
Here in the safety and innocence of your imagination.

Whence did that deviant despair blow back into my soul?
Now I’m feeling sad, a lightly sort of pout
Tuck me back in your steadfast imagination.
For my hope has run dry it seems it was only imaginary.

Imagination

So you're trying to make connection, you heard whispers in the hall
She'll be out again this evening, when you come around to call
So, you dodge the lady-killer, who came creepin' 'cross the floor
Then you caught up in a whirlwind, you got blown right out the door
Oh, yes it was a whirlwind, sweet romance was on your side
If you wanna dance on my face, you must tell me why you lied
Imagination is a powerful deceiver
When you try to believe her just a little too much
Imagination is a powerful deceiver
I'll go out of my mind, if i'm losing your touch
I see a look of recognition, so well hidden in your eye
And your peepshow regulations, they just don't seem to apply,
Well, did i see you in the circus, in the ring without a hand
Now you think that you can curse us, steal the show and stop the band
Oh, you can follow your dreams, oh but please don't lead me on,
If you wanna bleed in my face, you were here and now you're gone
Imagination is a powerful deceiver
When you try to believe her just a little too much
Imagination is a powerful deceiver
I'll go out of my mind, if i'm losing your touch
I'll go out of my mind, if i'm losing your touch
I'll go out of my mind, if i'm losing your touch

O Angel...

O Angel,
In the time of love,
Life is a silent prayer
All silent prayers!

Don't know how to describe you!
You:
The soul of innocence
Or innocence of the soul,
The soul of pain
Or pain of the soul,
The soul of loneliness
Or loneliness of the soul,
The soul of poetry
Or the poetry of the soul.......

Or
The soul of all souls
Wild with love at heart?
Who are you?

Days of love are
The days of pain never ending,
Days of pleasure immense!
Yes, the are the days of purge!

Like a wildfire, your words
Torment my soul...
Like a gentle caress,
Helps me resurrect like Phoenix...

Like a butterfly,
I flutter to kiss
All your dream-flowers
To enjoy all the hidden metaphors.....

A creative heart
Likes to be naked
And tormented always!
I know that
You are weaving wings for...................

Artist Dreaming

Close your eyes baby
Off to sleep.
Find your soul
In God’s arms to keep
Dream your dreams

In your eyes
There's a glow
See your dreams
Live your Dreams
Now you know

See them come alive
Watch them dance
Through your eyes
Dream your Dreams
Coming now into focus

Dream your dream of art
Dreams with passion to create
Never waking from its light
Lift your head
Never lay it down

Create your dreams
Paint it, live it, embrace it
Dream what you are
Dream it true
Tonight the dreams are all for you

A Prayer To Her

A prayer to her
A cry between two souls, its all that can be done.
Staring in the face of death,
a blank stare between brothers.
A touch colder than the fear itself,
a known fortune, blanketed by hope.
A stolen angel, a stained memory,
a plague God conceived on the minds of the weary.
Questions never to be answered,
a child of life stolen by seconds.
Innocence captured by nightmares,
dreams of life stolen by faith.
Where is God, stealing the souls of children,
the wisdom of life forgotten,
stabbed in the back by the holy.
Our father who art in heaven,
spite thy name for the innocence he captured,
alone are the souls he left behind,
for ever and ever. Amen..

Heaven & Renaissance in Heaven

Up aloft behind the stars gleam
Heaven's eye on angel's wings
Where in ecstasy in light forever beam
To those who trust in god, god like things

There, children revel in innocent play
In valleys of green and mountains of clouds white'
Never turning dark, and forever day
Like living on a star in dark night

There is no dream for heaven's real
But dreams realized in a soul serene
Its beauty creates a crystalized zeal
Which dictates our will like a heavenly queen

Renaissance in Heaven

A mystic spirit, one sweeps through stars
and gathers all their heavenly light
In far off planets as strange as Mars
My imagination grows, my soul takes flight

Is this heaven whom sleeps in me
Tender love that wets mine eye
To cleanse the sin that I do see
And makes me desire my life to die?

In heaven, in love, my life shall be
With angels pristine as a baby's soul
To heaven, to love, my life with thee
In thine heart, thy heaven lull

Sonnet Of Motherhood XXVII

O, not alone I weave this miracle
Of glowing spirit from my body’s zone.
With every moment of the life unknown
You feed the glory of a growing cell.
All day I think of you, and night must tell
Dreams of my dreams unto your heart alone;
So, seeing you, I take you, O my own,
Into my child where first you wrought Life’s spell.

Dearest, as much as I, you breathe in pain,
Breeding yourself—your very soul from me
By look and sign, soft word and action strong,
And all you longed for in its form regain.
I am a humble haven where we three,
Father and child and mother, make a song.

American Soul

Lights across the river
Blues from dens rich with pain
Pleasure numbs the lonely hearts
Searching for that refined door
Tenured in melodic Muddy Waters
Miles Davis on a trumpet of silk
Billy Holiday makes you want to cry
Cross that bridge where notes bend
Where church bells still ring
Southern hospitality on a slide guitar
Barbecues, lace, sweat, desire
Dreams as deep as forlorn immigrants
Chicago blues like working class dreams
Welcome to the belated souls
Welcome outsiders on a edge
Pound on your drums, your congas
Play those old Stratocaster Guitars
Play those fender and Gibson amps
Tonight we hear the American soul

Club Soul City

Pack up your bags
Dont look back
Theres a little place
Out cross the the railroad tracks
If youre broken-hearted
And you dont know what to do
But they got a place down there thats just for you
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
Theres a waitress at the back bar
Goes with the the guy that runs the place
Shes got hair like a weeping willow
And tears running down her face
Shes seen a lot of guys like you coming around
Looking for something that theyve lost
Or trying to lose something that theyve found
Down at
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
So if youre down on your spirit
And there aint no-one who cares
If youre lost and youre lonely
You wont be lonely down there
You cant miss it, its just up the highway
On the front door theres a sign that says
Restricted to the losing kind
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah
Club soul, club soul city, yeah yeah yeah
Club soul, club soul city, oh yeah

Goodbye to the night...

Distant echos invade my thoughts
A constant memorial of eternal desolation
A thousand times I've wandered these dreams
Such a haunting reminder of past lives lived

The memory of your smile feeds my appetite
A pulse of delight with every memory of you
The whisper of a gentle breeze sings your name
A thousand lifetimes lived with your essence

Every dance with you etched into my being
Each dream a spark of light in eternal darkness
No warmth remains except the memory of you
Emptiness overwhelms with no tears left to cry

A lost and lonely soul doomed to eternal dreams
My conscience heavy with the burden of blame
Am I the one who squandered Nirvana away?
Once more my soul whispers goodbye to the night

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Why

Why are we here all alone
With nobody here to tell us what to do
Everybody here could tell you how
But not why
All of your life
Why were we put here by the sun
With nobody here to tell us why it burns
Lots of people here could tell you how
But not why
All of your life
Why were we put here
Waiting for the end
Ahhhha
Your angel's coming down
You better believe in something
Right before you die baby
Ahhhha
Your angel's coming down
You looking for an answer
But you're getting no reply baby
Ahhhha
Your angel's coming down, down.......
On your knees before you get too old
Count the cost before you lose your soul
Don't you question God before you die
Because all you'll hear is how but never why
Be a good soul let your prayers surround you
It's comfort that your reason can't control
All you have is faith that'll get you thru
And you're wondering "Why"?
Tell me how do you feel
Cause I'm losing my mind
Is this only a dream till we're gone
With no answers to "Why"?
Solo
Why are we here all alone
Praying love creates immortal souls
All the love within you tells you how
And why
All of your life

Memories of a River

Each river has a bunch of stories to tell
The story of dreams failed
Of lost love
Of the burning truth and the hot smell
Of life real

The river even knew the pain
Of thoughts going parallel
With their hands never yielding to a touch
The injured lives

The deceit killed a heart
And the river knew it before
Lust reigned in one
And the river could see it in the eyes
And waited for the injured soul

Each day the river waited for the silent cries from afar
The sighs of the world thronged on its shore
And the delight of the paper boats,
Will it survive the sighs?

Again the monsoon came late
But the river was wet with memories

The Lonely Soul

The lonely soul wanders
Alone in the walks of life
No other soul as his companion
The lonely soul wanders

Alone in the daybreak
He does his duties
In the walks of life
The lonely soul wanders

Alone in the life
He meets many other souls
Who comes to be
Unfit for the lonely soul
The lonely soul wanders

As the days pass by
The lonely soul became
More lonely, with no other
souls as his companion
The lonely soul wanders

Alone in the walks of life
The lonely soul decides
Not to die, but to face
Life in all its hardships
The lonely soul wanders

She Walks...

She walks in beauty in my Dreams
She dances across the shadows of my mind
As the moonlight beams
Upon two souls entwined

All through the day and into the night
She walks in beauty in my dreams
In my memory, I hold her tight
Safe in my arms, sheltered from the screams

In the shadows my mind does teem
My thoughts my dreams, she does invade
She walks in beauty in my dreams
Across my heart in an endless parade

Love cascading, exploding in a brilliant flare
Flowing like a mountain stream
Until I am left with my dreams and where
She walks in beauty in my dreams

Of Dreams and Ambitions

From the day a soul
Is pulled from the Guff
To inhabit its 70-year hull,
Are its Dreams and Innocence not enough
To succeed,
And to heed
God's plan
For man?

Yet, do not the cares of the world
Eventually depress the soul
With their harsh conditions?
Into the void our innocence is hurled,
So our dreams we must hold on to,
And begin to form into ambitions.

In using our new-found experience,
Do we not realize our ambitions,
Formed from innocent dreams,
And once again realize innocence?

Angel Needs A Ride

Said, angel, do you want a ride?
Said, angel, Im tired and Im lonely
And I need somebody by my side
Its a long road that stretched from vegas to nowhere
But itd been an even longer time
Since he found some piece of mind
And he lived off of bubblegum and cigarettes
And got his nourishment from all-night stores
Thought hed just keep driving
Til he outdrove his sorrow
He said, angel, oh do you want a ride?
Said angel, Im tired and Im lonely
And I need somebody by my side
Her feet were warm and tired
But as determined as a soul
She left with no regrets
But also no posessions did she own
Her heart was as fragile as her thin, loving arms
Shes praying to God to take away her lonely
When he pulled on aside of the road
And he said, angel, oh do you want a ride?
Said, angel, Im tired and Im lonely
And I need somebody by my side
The highway goes on forever
Ive seen a thousand men like him before
And Ive seen a thousand angels that
Got into the car
Theyre just a couple of lost souls
Looking to rekindle some sort of forgotten dream
I hope they find what theyre looking for
In the solace of the road
They said, angel, do you want a ride?
Said, angel, Im tired and Im lonely
Im tired and Im lonely
Im tired and Im lonely
Im tired and Im lonely
And I need to have somebody
By my angel

The Flower

Well this flower is my soul
But it's not half of what I owe
I should give you every rose that I ever grew
But take this one here for a start
And you can keep it in your heart
I have everything I need because of you

Well if my life was long enough
to pack up everything I love
I would do just that and give it all to you
But it's impossible to pay
All the things that you gave away
Si this flower I give will have to do

All the flowers growing wild
For ten thousand lonely miles
It's not near enough to give you what I should
So I will owe you for a while
Maybe longer than my life
I would give you all the world if I could

Old Flower

She is a flower given
in rainy hours
in her is ocean-ness

moving soft winds before her;
floating lightly
shiny new soul blooming

untouched by sentiments darkly
all experience her delight
having never known mean love
only love requited.

Joy seldom comes to the stapled heart
her's has never been.

I am older than she
aged older than my years
mangled innocence
unrequited

the winter bulb
underground
she is summer's sun
warming waters.

I ask her if
her heart,
and my dark bulb
can yet be fertile?

What irony
meeting brings
in words wandering
'cross pages

when individuals
invest
their souls
and their best
summer flailings.

So rare the soul not potted yet
not yet a bulb a'growing
yet wise enough
to love the flower
covered by
winter ground
frozen.

Whisper me
just one word
your soul's summer smells
inhaled

bouquet refreshing
my dusty soil
my winter eyes ungreying

stirred still
by youthful seeds
yours
which arrive with summer's souling
on summer winds
whose innocence
coax old flowers
mine
into fitful starts
re-blooming
in instant's remembering
but destined in the next
to extinguish
happily.

Romance and Reality!

In dreams and imagination erotic romance thrives!
But in reality only real love leads to joy in life ever,
Without which life is an eternal hell to endure long!

Isolated soul cannot think of union as fate is firm;
Only friendship can one think of but not love ever
And pull on the days doing the best for the society!

Stories of novels, poems of passion may survive...;
But they are only for consoling worn out souls.....!
Recovery from grief takes long to resume life.....

Nature, art and music divert attention from grief
To an imaginary world for temporary relief only
So that some sleep could give rejuvenation of spirit!

Romance and reality cannot be mistaken for surety
As there's noting sure in this uncertain world we live!
