Things were at their best for the people of Bucharest from 1925, when the effects and memories of the First World War had faded, till around 1935, despite the intervening crisis, which they bore reasonably well.

Hostage Crisis

Who is a hostage
What is the crisis
Who is there
To solve this.

I am here
In this world
And I am in crisis
It is your world
It is you
Who solve my crisis.

The crisis of
Identification
The crisis of
Beautification
The crisis of
Unification
The crisis of
Liberation.

In interwar Bucharest, people experienced both the ideal and the grotesque stupidity; they saw both extreme refinement and unthinking crudity; among them were generous givers and reprobates, the balanced and the fanatical, lucid thinkers and fantasists, heroes and villains, good and evil.

It is popular to call it a crisis of the Western world. It is in fact a crisis of the whole world. Communism, which claims to be a solution of the crisis, is itself a symptom and an irritant of the crisis.

I Do Not Wait For Anybody Except You

Her face
Was embossed
In my heart and mind
Never let me cry
Her memories never
Faded
Hope of her coming
Back
Never died
Loneliness
Never perturbed me
She was always near me
Till I saw you
Your face
Is a replica of her’s
You have
Mesmerized me
Captured
My heart and soul
Memories have faded
Love in life revived
Now
I do not miss
I do not wait
For anybody
Except you

When one has the feeling that one is day after day in interwar Bucharest and makes efforts to adjust to these circumstances, on returning "home", one cannot help but feel a bit lonely and alienated.

When you lay the cultural map of old Bucharest over that of the present day, starting with the kiosks selling cultural magazines and ending with, for example, theatres and cinemas, you find that, contrary to expectations, it is in today's map that the gaps appear.

Rewind

When youth is gone, things of a past
of what had long since been
tied loosely the joyful memories
old things turn up..
then a rewind begin!

For we have no choice turning the page..
forgotten shape or painted face
strike silent one afternoon sunlit stage
faded stencil or handmade needlepoint lace
rewinding memory will re-engage..
cause loss to faded celluloid
beaming they hurry inside the past
a 'lost reel' pulled up from the void!

Looped, threaded, and carefully played
trinket in hand, time traveler to..
memories from which a childhood were made.
Some feelings tie love to old things
even though faded or frayed
we can hold in our hand to rewind time
that will never fail or fade.

We're not thoughtless empty-headed people who don't have memories anymore. But we are becoming particularly adept at remembering where to go find things. And that's kind of amazing.

Sonnet- The World Today(6)

Are people sure of what they tend to do?
And why they do and how they do all things?
Their moral values are fast ebbing too,
They don’t care what evil effects it brings.

What risky feats yet worthless, they perform!
What stupid games for lucre’s sake, they play!
Ignoring risks to body, mind, life’s harm;
They do those things which give them better pay.

The multitude is equally to blame;
This world rewards and lauds such worthless men;
The average things they do are things of shame;
For money-making men, the world’s haven.

And people play on people’s passions much,
For that’s the money spinning magic touch.

Memories

*Whisper* Memories, Memories, Memories
In This World You Tried
Not Leaving Me Alone Behind
There's No Other Way
I'll Pray To The Gods: Let Him Stay
The Memories Ease The Pain Inside
Now I Know Why
Chorus
All Of My Memories
Keep You Near
It's All About Us
Imagine You'd Be Here
All Of My Memories
Keep You Near
The Silent Whispers
The Silent Tears
Made Me A Promise I'd Try
To Find My Way Back In This Life
I Hope There Is A Way
To Give Me A Sign You're Okay
Reminds Me Again
It's Worth It All
So I Can Go Home
Chorus
Together In All These Memories
I See Your Smile
All The Memories I Hold Dear
Darling You Know I Love You Till The End Of Time
Chorus

Circumspection

Many things i see concern me about people
I see people do stupid things
I see people do things to help the world
I see people do many things that someday they will not be proud of
Concerns come from the stupid things i see people do
If there a thousands of people doing things that i see
The world is a lot worse than what i thought
But other things i see cause me to see the good side of things
People that i see do acts of kindness make me see the world in other ways
But from what i see some people do i am filled with concern.

Forgotten Scar

The day his mark faded
From its place upon my skin
His hold on me was lifted
The love my heart once bore for him
And the pain my mind told me his memory brought
Along with all the marks he left upon my body
Faded to a distant memory
Now and forever gone
He is nothing to me
Nothing
Now he is only
A faded and forgotten scar
In the memory of my heart

The Old Red Barn

The old red barn that's been vacant for years
is a reminder of days long past.
In its day it was filled with so much life.
But like all things it didn't last.

Now as I ride by it I wonder why it stands?
Why was it not taken down?
If it was capable of having a face,
surely it would be wearing a frown.

Gone are the sounds and the smells it had.
Gone are the people too.
The hands that worked there every day,
These are the memories it knew.

'Why am I standing all faded and worn?
Why don't they do away with me?
I'm tired. I'm tilted. I can't stand straight.
Is that what they like to see?

Maybe I'm a reminder as people ride by
of how things used to be.
Maybe I still have a purpose to fill?
Nostalgia, when they look at me.

And they - and they havin (havin their fun) - havin-a - havin-a lots of fun -
Killin the people, oo-yoo! - (havin fun) havin their fun!
They just want to be the leader
In the ouse of the risin sun.
But no matter what the crisis is;

Memories in the mind

Memories are made in the mind,
and there if you search, you will find.
There in the mind, so many things,
so many memories it brings.

So many years have passed,
of our youth, away we have cast
some memories happy, some memories sad,
memories have I, when I was a lad.

Memories have I, of a dog named shep,
memories of him, when he kept in step.
Memories of my friends, when we played,
of those days, for ever memories relayed.

Memories of family and fun,
when we talked until the setting of sun.
Memories of washing our fifty-seven Ford,
and wanting things we couldn't afford.

Memories are made in the mind,
long lost, search and you will find,
memories of days gone by,
searching memories, oh how you try.

Memories will fade out,
you have forgotton, what it's about,
memories lost in the mind,
dig them out and you will find.

When Will Things Change

the world is unworthy and things countine to be dirty when will things change. when the world is full of mess and people just countine to strees, when will things change. when the streets are some of our homes never knowing why were alone, when will the world change. people cry at night just to give up a fight, when will things change. when you need to cry and you need someone 'why' when will things change.
when the world is sour and people have way to much power, when will things change. crying about the past, the things that never last. when will things change. when the world around you is cold, and shared feelings never seem to bold when will things change. when the world comes at you fast and ever part of your stress continues to last. when will things change.
