There is no need to sally forth, for it remains true that those things which make us human are, curiously enough, always close at hand. Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tiny blasts of tiny trumpets, we have met the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us.

This is my world, small as it is,
It is a planet by itself with very
Small moons, and tiny stars,
And so tiny, you cannot just
See me there, I am hiding,
But I still live here just the same,
Breathing atomic air, and drinking
Molecular waters, so you see,
How tiny I could be, how tiny
I could get, but this is my
Small happy world, my smile
My laughter so tiny, that you
Cannot hear, you cannot feel,
And that is your world as big
As the sun, with comets and
Meteors, and so big and so
Wide, with oceans and rivers,
And continents, and gigantic
Arctics, and snowy lands, and
We are then so different, and
With me, there is no problem,
I, in my small world, can fit
In yours, but you, you cannot
Fit in mine, that we must
Accept, I am a small world,
And you are a space still expanding,
Now, do you understand,
why I hide?
why I shy away from you?

Tiny Drop
Waste of Tiny, Tiny Water Drops.
Always Trigger my Conscious Thoughts.
A Tiny Water Drop can make a Sapling Laugh
Tiny, Tiny water Drops can get you sweet Pod.
Tiny, Tiny Water Drops can make a Plant to Stand
As a Tree, This can give Shelter to a Lot.
Because of Waste of Tiny, Tiny water Drops
Many lives have become short.
So try to save even tiny water Drop, Which will
Get you Heartily Laugh.

A little Flower
A flower grew out of the ground
A tiny flower from the dirt
A tiny living soul from underground
A baby crawling from the dirt
A little innocence of wild color
A tiny spark of hope
A tiny pleasure free of charge
A flower that i called my own
A little baby ran towards it
A tiny flower crushed beneath the feet
A little human innocence
A little bliss destroyed by ignorance
A little flower dead on the ground
A little baby jumping up and down
And only me from my own window, witnessed the death of my own flower beneath the feet of blissful child without idea of his first crime...

There Once Was A Tiny Girl
there once
was a tiny girl
who grew up
in this world
there once
was a tiny girl
who cried herself to sleep
every night
there once
was a tiny girl
who wore the same dress
every day
there once
was a tiny girl
who wouldn't go out
and play
there once
was a tiny girl
who would bleed and have bruises
from head to toe
there once
was a tiny girl
who begged
daddy, please no more
there once
was a tiny girl
who the angels
heard her prayer
they came down
and took her
to a better place
where that tiny girl
found love
instead of hate

Coronation on the tele
In 1953 the television came
A big brown wooden box
which coddled a tiny screen
behind the glass
On either side a knob to twizzle
but my dad said If you touch
the screen will all explode
So we didn't
We watched the tiny Queen
waving from her big glass coach
-except it wasn't really glass
except the windows - not the wheels
The neighbours crowded in
to borrow sugar - or to see the prize -
sitting on our mam's armchair arms
refusing to go home
And as the Queen was seen
they clapped and cheered as if the Queen could hear
and waved their little Union Flags
just like the crowds in London
standing in the rain all day
to see the people passing by
The enormous Queen of Tonga and her son
- and boring Heads of State
Children wet and waving flags
were standing on their daddies' shoulders
Some were clutching guardsmen's trouser legs
and waving from the gutter
But we could see it all at home - and jockey with the neighbours
Our mam spent all the programme making tea
and moaning as the milk was running out
and missing all the Queen

Valentine's Day
Oh! I wish I were a tiny browny bird from out the south,
Settled among the alder-holts, and twittering by the stream;
I would put my tiny tail down, and put up my tiny mouth,
And sing my tiny life away in one melodious dream.
I would sing about the blossoms, and the sunshine and the sky,
And the tiny wife I mean to have in such a cosy nest;
And if some one came and shot me dead, why then I could but die,
With my tiny life and tiny song just ended at their best.

Tiny Steps
Muscle baby wont let go
Weekend baby wont say no
Is she an active beauty ?
I should say so
Wooden bones and pretty lashes
Iodine for your babys gashes
Little tombs for your babys ashes
If something goes wrong
Tiny steps almost real
Tiny fingers you almost feel
Make her walk or make her kneel
Oh, shes almost human beneath that cuban heel
Whos that down at the bottom of the garden ?
Whos that hiding underneath the sofa ?
Who gets blamed whenever youre in trouble ?
Shes your friend and shes your double
Tiny steps almost real
Tiny fingers you almost feel
Make her walk or make her kneel
Oh, shes almost human beneath that cuban heel
Pretty little fashion face
Pick anyone up off the shelf
Though you say its a disgrace
You know you owe it to yourself
You can even shop around
Though you wont find any cheaper
Shes your baby now
You can keep her
Tiny steps almost real
Tiny fingers you almost feel
Make her walk or make her kneel
Oh, shes almost human beneath that cuban heel

The Other
I sit at this tiny table
and wait
as I have before
for you to make
excuses to get
away;
to steal the tiny time
you have with me.
I know I should go,
break away
and leave
but I don't.
I sip my coffee
swirling in the cup
mixing my milk
and your strong brew.
Perhaps one day
there will be a me and you
but today-right now
there is only me.
I feel you at my side
suddenly
your face
comes over me
and once again
there is the peace
you offer
each time we meet.
That is the drug
which overpowers
each time
I
the other woman;
and we
reach across
the tiny table
re-joined
in tiny time
the tiny space
we allow ourselves
to enjoy
rarely,
this other me
that other you.

When Our Love Is True (Sonnet Corona)
I
When all things of our love are really true
like it was on every yesterday,
and nothing at all can make it decay,
when the special thing between me and you
do not pass us by as other things do
and on every sunny day by day
we do live, cry, laugh and sometimes play
and by tomorrow you feel this way too
and still love me then just as tenderly
then I am blessed have joys in excess
when you fill me, even when I lie prone,
your loving is more then I can express
and become part, in what I want to be
in a lower hue, a much simpler tone.
II
In a lower hue, a much simpler tone
where we bring smiles to each other’s faces,
this is how we make our love our own,
where we can walk to some different places
and always as allies walk hand in hand
turning defeat to the enemy’s retreat,
making this great earth our own piece of land
as true compatriots on the busy street.
Where at times some similar thoughts and speech
comes to hand without having to compare,
without having to split as each to each,
being one in everything that we share:
you are grounded in me like a new root,
my heart is like a growing, rising shoot.
III
My heart is like a growing, rising shoot
whose tiny boughs grow true and somewhat free,
my heart is like a spreading tiny taproot
that anchors you very deeply to me.
My heart is like a small burning cheroot
that always brings you some sweet tranquillity,
my heart is like a yellow ripened fruit
on your beloved type of small tree.
My heart is like some small fishes that scoot
away to safety in the deepest sea,
where none other big predator can loot
but only you in true serenity
and I really whither in your absence;
of me you are the living essence.
IV
Of me you are the living essence
of everything that is good in me
that I experience with your presence
the joy of life with a heart kind and free
and so very subtle, so very gently
your eyes wander into my humanity
as if suddenly and just presently
you do know each single activity
before I even consciously perceive
any kind of living words and deeds
and from you I always only receive
blessings for all my tiny wants and needs,
every single day you make my heart sing,
you complete me fully in everything.
V
You complete me fully in everything
while you walk and run in my shadow,
your love is my greatest single blessing
and yet you say that love you do not know.
When from all of my life you are gone,
something essential and great is missing
and when I am single, the only one
even every single thought and feeling
is halved separately and it feels
as if my whole presence, my body
from my head right up to my heels
do not belong to me or to anybody
without you my soul is really underfed,
as if the lamp shatters, no light is shed.
VI
As if the lamp shatters, no light is shed,
if the rain falls and the rainbow is gone,
when any music instrument is dead
and you say nothing and there is none
other light, rainbow, music or any words
the look in your eye, your soft sensual touch
still then remains as tiny records
of nearness of deeds of love, to vouch
for the feelings, for the real principles
that binds us so simply unseen together
and like true reverent following disciples
of an immaterial thing we do not bother
with separating, without you I have no peace,
I do not know if love can increase
VII
I do not know if love can increase,
boundless in its integrity to lie
in every small thing between you and I
and our happy feelings never to cease
even when with time our lives decrease
still to be under a blue radiant sky
to cherish what we have, before we die
even if our lives are not lived with ease
I would wish for you to be only with me,
to struggle along in life’s tournament
even if disaster comes out of the blue,
to live your life to your heart’s full content
and I would love you with intensity
when all things of our love are really true.

I killed an ant
We both roamed upon this land
But this tiny soldier in my hand
Was surely destined to meet his end
On the day that i chose to kill an ant
I could not help, i could not choose
To stop myself from bringing doom
To the tiny soldiers little life
I don't know why but he had to die
Were it roam the ant wouldn't triumph
David could would never defeat Goliath
Though his feeble legs kicked in the air
Mercy i did never spare
My eyes had chosen to stop and stare
At the tiny soldier right over there
Though he had no chance and he had no hope
He fought like victory was a thing so close
And as the hour of his death did strike
He shed a tear for his own life
God had placed him in my hand
And on that day I killed an ant

Little Guns
Tiny people, with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny soldiers, with little guns
Little tanks, no bigger than your thumb
They want you
Little people, with tiny brains
Little bullets flowing, in their veins
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny people with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
They want you, you
You, you, you, you
Little airplanes, with tiny bombs
Little squadrons, dropping thimbles of napalm
They want you
What do they want?
What do they want?
Tiny people, with little guns
Little armies march, to little drums
You, you
You, you, you, you
Tiny people, little guns
Tiny people, little guns
Tiny people, little guns

Ode to Crumbs
when I eat
a cake
of chocolate,
Crumbs are everywhere
All over the counter
my hand
the floor
a mess everywhere
tiny islands on
the counter
meaningless
though I can't help
but pay attention
to crumbs
on my hand
my counter
my floor
all over the place
why are they so obssesive?
small
tiny little specs
though I can't look away
so
I must clean them up.

Small Things
it's so easy to miss
the things that really matter.
the small child looking up
at you, wanting to be
picked up.
the way sunlight dances
on rain wet leaves.
the person you bump into,
that smiles with that look
of something they want to say,
and you're in too big of a hurry
to listen.
the old man in his rocking chair,
waiting on you to call.
the dog that rolls over,
waiting on a belly rub.
the woman staring out the window
while you rattle on about work.
the ants going to and from their hill,
doing life's work.
the rose that opens and closes
without you taking the time
to smell, and to touch.
the hawk flying overhead
in the limitless sky.
the hand that brushes yours,
and you dont notice.
the voice on the phone
that wants to say 'come home'.
but doesnt because you're busy.
small things that come and go.
tiny universes, tiny miracles.
lost in the rush to.

Big and tiny creatures
Big and tiny creatures, are so unique each one,
But they're so amazing each one, out in the noon day sun;
For example, look at the spider, and the web she doth make,
So clever and wonderful, and the time she doth take.
Big and tiny creatures, I am amazed each one I see,
Look at the pigmy possum, trying to hide in a tree;
It's color goes in with the background scene,
But he will cover his steps to hide where he's been.
Big and tiny creatures, do you like the tall giraffe?
To think his neck is so tall, his length is longer than a raft;
Then there's the whale, out in the huge sea,
Moaning and groaning to his mate, amazing do you agree?
Big and tiny creatures, like the tiny crab, or the large hippo,
What about the large elephant, and the tiny ant on the go;
Each one has a job to do, yet both care for their young,
They travel far, travel wide, busy in the hot sun.
Big and tiny creatures, colors some so pretty,
Such as the butterfly, and the flamingo, agree;
Then there is the snakes, and the parrots too,
We should thank God for each one, where thanks is due.

Christmas Tiny Feet
don't you hear that beat of little tiny feet
tiny feet running across the floor
tiny feet at your door
to hear the pitter patter of those feet on christmas morn
and the twinkle in their eyes
seeing that expression of surprise
as they open up all their gifts that they put on their christmas list
this is one of the few things that make all the heartaches worth while
when you see their beautiful smile.
christmas is a day to rejoice the birth of our king
who has given us all these things.
so as we share this day with our children
let us remember who gave us this day
and thank him in every way.
rejoice in the birth of our new born king
for he is everything.
he has given us the pitter patter of tiny feet
and has made our lives complete.

One tiny sorrow
At the moment of ending
Every lovely meet
One tiny sorrow in my heart
I couldn't kiss that dimple on your cheek
Why every night so beautiful
When the stars twinkle so bright
One tiny sorrow in my heart
Right now, I can't hug you tight
Oh forget these limits
These walls and fences
I feel forgetting this sorrow
And loving you with all my senses
But realizing all the problems
Things we cannot avoid
One tiny sorrow in my heart
Because of which I just cried
I should have been there
As you were always by my side
One tiny sorrow in my heart
Accepting… I wasn't right
I wanna broom away every worry
And bring back the sunshine
One tiny sorrow in the bachelor's heart
Which is asking, “Will you be mine? â€

The Things I've Lost
in the things i've lost i found god....
not in the things themselves,
but in the empty spaces left behind!
in moments given and forgotten,
in laughter that never took a name.
in the sound of breathing that is peaceful sleep,
in the tiny light of a single flame.
in random snowflakes that need not redemption,
in callouses that become the hand.
in stories shared with small children,
in the sky seen through a prison window.
in the dog curled against my feet,
in a meal shared with strangers.
in the beautiful eyes of the dying child,
in the touch of the old woman's hand.
in the sound of wings saying farewell to autumn,
in the crunch of frost covered grass.
in the anger of my enemy,
when we both sat down to talk.
in the stories old boots could tell,
and the dreams that eyes reveal.
in the hand in mine and the feet beside,
in the 'thank you' whispered over the grave.
in the silent conversation of old friends,
in the rose that bloomed out of season.
in the sacredness that stinks,
of human endeavor and holy compassion!

Tiny Mountain
The year was 1972
Tiny Mountain had a lot to do.
He volunteered to be in the Vietnam War,
He was only 17 years young,
his adventure had just begun.
He rescued 600 Marines who where Prisoner's of War,
He was a brave soul for the war took it's toll.
He shot 18 " canons on a US Battleship,
to scare the Vietnamese to give up without a quip.
The Vietnamese waved their white flags and
let his ship come to shore,
to get the rest of the Prisoner's of War.
There was a lot of tunnels underground,
Tiny Mountain didn't go, he left without a sound.
He was too big to rescue POW under there,
there was cities with stores everywhere.
Like the subway system in NYC,
it was totally different not glittery.
Now Tiny Mountain made it back,
he made it without an attack.
Thanks Tiny Mountain for rescuing our POW's,
We the people of US of A and POW's Thank you.
