I Dream of Andromeda
Aethiopia is a land of exquisite beauty,
Inhabited by a princess worthy of its charms.
And the king her father thought it his duty
To boast of her glamor in spite of envious alarms.
So the lovely Andromeda sitting on the shore,
Her long hair waving seaward in the salty breeze,
Has been chained to rock by vengeance heretofore.
But the brave Perseus arrives and her he frees,
After slaying the sea monster with a vicious gore.
Now Andromeda is the goddess of all my dreams,
Who reigns supreme in the celestial sphere.
Her beauty is yet unique in the heavenly schemes,
And can cause clouds and tempest to disappear.
If I for a moment neglect to confess her glamour,
Savage beast would roar her praise from lust.
The most ardent lover she forces to stammer,
Her charms makes their tongues unable to adjust,
For it is that womanly way she has with men to enamour.
The forests, streams and all of nature are her gift,
Since every creature with a heart she delights.
O God make me her Perseus and please be swift,
For she is my only dream on starry nights.
My brand is honed sharp to slay the dragon,
And the keys to her chains lay buried in my sack.
We will fly away on a Pegasus drawn wagon,
And sail the celestial ocean in a star guided yacht.
To toast life eternal, may I lift this star-studded flagon?

Andromeda
O Princess Andromeda
to see the beauty in the stars
from so very long ago
I wait with great anticipation
for the princess I wish to see
is in the sparkling constellation‘
oh it is the beautiful Andromeda
she- a sacrifice to Cetus
of the deep blue sea
quickly found herself in chains, then
saved by her new love Perseus
she was happy to be free
and what now remains
of the ruler of men
is her portrait in the stars
with Andromeda's claim to fame

Andromeda
Now Time’s Andromeda on this rock rude,
With not her either beauty’s equal or
Her injury’s, looks off by both horns of shore,
Her flower, her piece of being, doomed dragon’s food.
Time past she has been attempted and pursued
By many blows and banes; but now hears roar
A wilder beast from West than all were, more
Rife in her wrongs, more lawless, and more lewd.
Her Perseus linger and leave her tó her extremes?—
Pillowy air he treads a time and hangs
His thoughts on her, forsaken that she seems,
All while her patience, morselled into pangs,
Mounts; then to alight disarming, no one dreams,
With Gorgon’s gear and barebill, thongs and fangs.

Moon Vavroovahana Patra
Shining secleing moon in the eastern firmament peeps;
Mirth reigns in human heart evaporates the grief.
Pinle violet color endows the lovely enticing horizon;
Poets, passers-by, peasants behold the beauty, delight with profound passion.
Twinkling little stars magnify the eternal beauty;
Earthy creatures merry make, forget their duty.
Lily sheds tears of joy for the moon;
For the lover in the tiny pond she blooms.
The moon is a Brook of Joy mirroring in the lap of Nature;
Dazzles as a spring of Bliss in the human creature.
The beam is an ocean of peace, Tranquility, coolness;
To her glory, Dignity, Beauty human mind is unable to guess.

Lost Paradise
Swat, Dwelling of the scented and angelic souls
A land which once a country dear
now passing through turmoil years
Where health and beauty cheer and craze
how often her charm was praise,
thy snowy hills and rosy land.
The never failing brooks and smiling springs,
the enchanting breeze and the lovely scene,
People call it heaven on the land.
But I tell you now.......
They were thy charms and all are fled,
By divine writ thy luxury cursed,
Those lovely hours once thy pride
Now lust and lies instead abide.
Rivers serene storm in anger,
Sky hills blooded and danger
The Lands trodden by armies' dark
Guns roar with a question mark
The highland lass looks for lover
Arrest a glance of head cut lower,
Where dusk terrifies and hurting dawn
and the starry sky wailing and wane,
Oh Never step into this fairyland
Sages are quiet and the young abstain
O! Pray to have our serenity again
Good Heaven!
What sorrows gloomed that parting regime
Nightmare reigns our lovely dreams
and shatters the hearts serene.
To whom I blame,
Soldiers of the god…..?
Or soldiers of Land
Let hail the shedding blood
of the innocent being,
they are suffered but never complain,
but say a coral in melancholy strains,
No beauty adorns thy fairy eyes,
truth decay and false arise.
O, tears from the depth of divine despair
Rise in the heart and gather in the fear
But my faith never disappear
Has vision that dazzles my eyes
And behold a lost paradise.

I Met a Celebrity
My family went to Hollywood.
There were plenty of things to do.
I decided on that trip
To make one of my dreams come true.
It was hot outside,
But I was looking cool,
Sitting in a chair
Right beside the pool.
I wanted to meet a big star.
It couldn't hurt to try.
I'd give that star my best smile
And charmingly say, 'Hi.'
Maybe the star would like me.
I'd become that star's best friend.
We'd go on star adventures.
The fun would never end.
We might travel by limo
Or fly in a private jet.
Maybe we'd sail on a yacht.
That would be better yet.
Don't bother to fuel the jet
Or look for the limo keys.
I did meet a star by the pool,
That star was Chuck E. Cheese.

Beautiful One
Oh beautiful one, adorned with spell
To ravage my world as might a sweet angel.
Oh beautiful thing, so much at ease:
Allure of caressing breeze in touch gentle.
Oh beautiful creature, sail me do,
As floating on seas of halcyon blue tincture.
You beautiful being, gracing charm
And features that render feel of deep texture.
Your beautiful poise in glide supreme,
Gives such like a vista honed as from heaven.
That beautiful art of face ornate,
Not ever to understate or be riven.
Your beautiful flame of pulchritude
Doth dizzy me high, so I conclude always
You beautiful girl forever be
My shining Janette; my guide; my stairway.

I Do Love The Goddess Of Nature
I do love the Goddess of Nature though to her I never do pray
Her beauty it is all around me I learn from her every day
Yet the more that I've learned about her the more I have come to realize
That there is more far more to Nature her secrets she hides from our eyes
Were I a poet to the Goddess of Nature a poem worthy of her I'd write
A poem that a lover of poetry would feel happy for to recite
A poem extolling her great beauty a beauty none with can hope to compare
But we do not resprect her as we ought to and of that we ought to be aware
We pollute her oceans, waterways and air what we do to our Earth Mother to our own selves we do
Of others I should not be judgemental since I disrespect Nature too
Many humans are environmentally unfriendly we cut down mature and beautiful trees
And we foul the air with carbon emissions pollution is blowing in the breeze
We may disrespect the Goddess of Nature but the Goddess of Nature rules on
And she will be ruling the World when to nothingness we are long gone.

Andromeda
The smooth-worn coin and threadbare classic phrase
Of Grecian myths that did beguile my youth,
Beguile me not as in the olden days:
I think more grief and beauty dwell with truth.
Andromeda, in fetters by the sea,
Star-pale with anguish till young Perseus came,
Less moves me with her suffering than she,
The slim girl figure fettered to dark shame,
That nightly haunts the park, there, like a shade,
Trailing her wretchedness from street to street.
See where she passes -- neither wife nor maid;
How all mere fiction crumbles at her feet!
Here is woe's self, and not the mask of woe:
A legend's shadow shall not move you so!

Beautiful Woman!
Beautiful like fresh flower,
Beautiful with rainbows in eyes,
Beautiful with shyness and smile,
beautiful woman!
Beautiful are the star like eyes
Deeper than deepest ocean,
Ocean of feelings and love,
Beautiful is that motherly heart!
Beautiful woman thy beauty is thy compassion,
Thy beauty is in patience and knowledge,
Thy beauty lies in flowerless lips with precious smile,
Beautiful woman, most abstract beauty,
Not that beauty felt by eyes
Nor that skin or hair,
Not that grace or style, beautiful woman,
you are the beauty!
Beautiful woman!
thy beauty shines
Moon in star studded sky,
Thy beauty flashes with every turn of your neck to the call of child,
like plant swing with
perfumed flower in the garden
When that beauty of heart beautifully expressed!
Where her beauty lies,
Is it in her body or mind,
Or is it in her heart soft and kind?
Who wants to get stick or bind,
That's why women race fast leaving wondering men behind!

Her Anatomic Beauty
A face masked with beauty,
And a heart engross with charity.
An eyes as blazing as the sun,
Attached to a creature that brings fun.
Lips that produces an astonished smile,
That can make the air still for a while.
A nose that makes up her beautiful face,
Wonderfully created in the whole of human race.
A tongue that speaks for the truth,
Of a unique creature down from her root.
A pair of hands that embrasses love,
Love of her father above.
A chest that protects her special heart,
From thorns that can tear it apart.
Hairs both dark and brown,
That helps fit in her beauty crown.
A mind that's as peaceful as a dove,
Connecting with a will to show love.
A pair of ears that makes her a good listener,
And 2 fist that makes her a good fighter.
20 set of amazing fingers,
That makes her beauty lingers.
A reddish fluid that flows through her vains,
And tears that help wash away all her pains.
In her face lies 2 dots of dinpples,
That makes her lovely, gorgeous and simple.
A slimy gorgeous body of hers,
That makes her more beautiful than her pals.
From the crown of her hair to the sow of her fit,
Looks so radiant without a zit.
A pair of legs that keeps her moving by faith,
And also enables her to raise above hate.
She posses a skin so bright like a star,
And as sweet as ester.
All these unique parts comes together,
To make up a special creature altogether.
Believe me when i say she's amazing to be with,
And a perfect world without her is incomplete.
Her face is made without a scar,
That's why her beautiful name is ESTHER.

Sonnets
ENAMOURED ARCHITECT OF AIRY RHYME
ENAMOURED architect of airy rhyme,
Build as thou wilt; heed not what each man says:
Good souls, but innocent of dreamers’ ways,
Will come, and marvel why thou wastest time;
Others, beholding how thy turrets climb
’Twixt theirs and heaven, will hate thee all thy days;
But most beware of those who come to praise.
O Wondersmith, O worker in sublime
And heaven-sent dreams, let art be all in all;
Build as thou wilt, unspoiled by praise or blame,
Build as thou wilt, and as thy light is given:
Then, if at last the airy structure fall,
Dissolve, and vanish—take thyself no shame.
They fail, and they alone, who have not striven.
REMINISCENCE
THOUGH I am native to this frozen zone
That half the twelvemonth torpid lies, or dead;
Though the cold azure arching overhead
And the Atlantic’s never-ending moan
Are mine by heritage, I must have known
Life otherwhere in epochs long since fled;
For in my veins some Orient blood is red,
And through my thought are lotus blossoms blown.
I do remember … it was just at dusk,
Near a walled garden at the river’s turn
(A thousand summers seem but yesterday!),
A Nubian girl, more sweet than Khoorja musk,
Came to the water-tank to fill her urn,
And, with the urn, she bore my heart away!
OUTWARD BOUND
I LEAVE behind me the elm-shadowed square
And carven portals of the silent street,
And wander on with listless, vagrant feet
Through seaward-leading alleys, till the air
Smells of the sea, and straightway then the care
Slips from my heart, and life once more is sweet.
At the lane’s ending lie the white-winged fleet.
O restless Fancy, whither wouldst thou fare?
Here are brave pinions that shall take thee far—
Gaunt hulks of Norway; ships of red Ceylon;
Slim-masted lovers of the blue Azores!
’T is but an instant hence to Zanzibar,
Or to the regions of the Midnight Sun;
Ionian isles are thine, and all the fairy shores!
ANDROMEDA
THE SMOOTH-WORN coin and threadbare classic phrase
Of Grecian myths that did beguile my youth,
Beguile me not as in the olden days:
I think more grief and beauty dwell with truth.
Andromeda, in fetters by the sea,
Star-pale with anguish till young Perseus came,
Less moves me with her suffering than she,
The slim girl figure fettered to dark shame,
That nightly haunts the park, there, like a shade,

See where she passes—neither wife nor maid;
How all mere fiction crumbles at her feet!
Here is woe’s self, and not the mask of woe:
A legend’s shadow shall not move you so!
THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY
FOREVER am I conscious, moving here,
That should I step a little space aside
I pass the boundary of some glorified
Invisible domain—it lies so near!
Yet nothing know we of that dim frontier
Which each must cross, whatever fate betide,
To reach the heavenly cities where abide
(Thus Sorrow whispers) those that were most dear,
Now all transfigured in celestial light!
Shall we indeed behold them, thine and mine,
Whose going hence made black the noonday sun?—
Strange is it that across the narrow night
They fling us not some token, or make sign
That all beyond is not Oblivion.
SLEEP
WHEN to soft sleep we give ourselves away,
And in a dream as in a fairy bark
Drift on and on through the enchanted dark
To purple daybreak—little thought we pay
To that sweet bitter world we know by day.
We are clean quit of it, as is a lark
So high in heaven no human eye can mark
The thin swift pinion cleaving through the gray.
Till we awake ill fate can do no ill,
The resting heart shall not take up again
The heavy load that yet must make it bleed;
For this brief space the loud world’s voice is still,
No faintest echo of it brings us pain.
How will it be when we shall sleep indeed?

Medusa, The Myth Unfold
Suspend for a while your sense of query
I am to tell you an old tragic story
Revealed unto my solemn heart
A myth that was wrongfully taught
In a far away land of ancient Greece
Dwelt a highland lass in ease
Fairer than Helen was she in appearance
I, in lines few reveal unto you
Her virtue and acquaintance
Gentle to all young and old
By heaven and earth she was extolled
In youth she served the goddess`s temple
From soul to heart was innocent ample
Vanity and vengeance from heavenly figure*
Eroded the life of this maiden fair
For the sin of temptation of heavenly race**
She was cursed and horridly deface
Venomous vipers, rattling around her neck,
That turned a being into rock
With her noxious gaze and look
The anguish that never quench
A fragrance that turned into stinky stench
As she refused the gods to be wench
A rustic figure with crying heart
Ah! Demon and monster she was thought
Her cheer and bloom
Melt like mist and made her gloom
Her sole recreation in that dreadful park
Was to scrub and scratched dust from rock,
For years of infinity
She was blest with malevolent charity
Till Perseus the Demi-god
Beheaded her and ceased her life odd.

Silvery Beauty Vavroovahana Patra
Innocent silvery Beauty allures the poet;
Poet waits a while for a little delight.
Admires the art of creations;
Pervading the mystery of Beauty she frees tension.
Silvery Beauty allures delightfully;
Poet drinks the nectar of Beauty gaily.
The vehicle waits a while on the path;
Poet enchants with mirth.
Beauty is a gift of Almighty;
Lover enjoys with Delight.
Beauty enchants mind, heart miraculously;
Lover functions duty delightfully.
Poet heart reminisces Beauty’s face with gaiety;
He derives peace and delight;
All beautiful things are attracting;
In the lap of Nature are delighting.
Beauty appears with peace and pleasure;
Contents lover’s desire.
Beauty is a Deity;
Lover prays with gaiety.

Aspecta Medusa ( For A Drawing)
Andromeda, by Perseus sav'd and wed,
Hanker'd each day to see the Gorgon's head:
Till o'er a fount he held it, bade her lean,
And mirror'd in the wave was safely seen
That death she liv'd by.
Let not thine eyes know
Any forbidden thing itself, although
It once should save as well as kill: but be
Its shadow upon life enough for thee.

St. George
Improbably he veers and peers at us
not the dragon-demon at his feet-
the argent steed, whose sire, Pegasus,
carried the Favorito, Perseus
down the wild, airy steep.
and pledges with his sapient, little face
the Rider, the amazing savior,
mailclad form of scarcely bearable grace
trust without measure, endless faithfulness-
so shall we pledge Jesus our Redeemer.
But this dragon is not the fish of tufa
that slid heavily barnacle-implanted
out of the pearl-stuck grotte
to menace pale, golden-haired Andromeda
while the king lamented:
this is the Fiend, the Evil One, the Liar
who prowls the world plotting the souls' ruin
who blisters forever in Ghehenna-fire.
all that stirs in the night, all that conspires
for chaos, void, ineffable confusion
Feels this wound-trembles and despairs.
Content, the kings' heart breaks. Perhaps he dies.
The Cross takes root. Exquisitely it bears.
The virgin may continue with her prayers
rapt, beneath his gently lowered eyes.

Beauty Within
A desert blossom so preciously rare
Sharing its beauty where very few dare
Adding its color to a landscape so bland
A flicker of life against brush covered sand
For amongst the normal it reigns supreme
A moments clarity in a dark nights dream
It’s a glimmer of hope in this land so wild
Like a parents hugs to a frightened child
For its proof that there exist beauty in all
Whether big and bright or colorfully small
Its blossom still shines for us all to see
Like the beauty within both you and me.

It is seen more clearly when viewed by the heart

A Beauty of Love!
I enjoy beauty of star studded night sky;
I enjoy beauty of harmonious waves of sea;
I enjoy beauty of peaceful living of people;
I enjoy beauty of natural poems of poets!
Beauty of human life I enjoy in all forms;
Beauty of fun loving children I enjoy often;
Beauty of smiling flowers I enjoy in garden;
Beauty of art work I enjoy in all forms ever!
World is full of beauty Nature bestows to all;
World is paradise due to love and beauty ever;
World is the abode of man's cultural refinement;
World is the spring board to heaven at the end!
Beauty of love is eternal for all to enjoy in life
Evolving animal into man and man into divine!

To This Moment a Rebel
To this moment a rebel I throw down my arms,
Great Love, at first sight of Olinda's bright charms.
Make proud and secure by such forces as these,
You may now play the tyrant as soon as you please.
When Innocence, Beauty, and Wit do conspire
To betray, and engage, and inflame my Desire,
Why should I decline what I cannot avoid?
And let pleasing Hope by base Fear be destroyed?
Her innocence cannot contrive to undo me,
Her beauty's inclined, or why should it pursue me?
And Wit has to Pleasure been ever a friend,
Then what room for Despair, since Delight is Love's end?
There can be no danger in sweetness and youth,
Where Love is secured by good nature and truth;
On her beauty I'll gaze and of pleasure complain
While every kind look adds a link to my chain.
'Tis more to maintain than it was to surprise,
But her Wit leads in triumpth the slave of her eyes;
I beheld, with the loss of my freedom before,
But hearing, forever must serve and adore.
Too bright is my Goddess, her temple too weak:
Retire, divine image! I feel my heart break.
Help, Love! I dissolve in a rapture of charms
At the thought of those joys I should meet in her arms.
