Forever Paradise
Resting on a beautiful day under a sky blazed with gold,
I realized a vision so lovely to behold.
A lush garden watered by gently running streams,
On one side blueberry hills and the other the rainbow of dreams.
Here there is food to satisfy and thrills for the eye,
Enough for all God’s creatures of land, water, and sky.
The garden nymph, residing in the mansion of my mind,
Supplies my super-conscience with sweet devotions divine.
Here our hearts are light as the leaf on an apple tree,
‘Cause every wish and desire is crowned with victory.
Larks and bluebirds visit daily to serenade us from on high
And leave us sweet memories when they launch into the sky.
The reverend here is a woman who outmatches the moon,
She likes dancing through the garden with dessert and spoon.
The preacher is one sensational human and has a vision true.
She sees the Word transcribed in the air and inherent in the dew.
The birds of paradise now in place, wearing feathered robes aglow,
Harmonize with a melodious breeze that began a billion years ago.

Eternal Eden
Under a splendid sky of orange and grey,
Awakened a dawn as lovely as the foremost day,
And there beneath the rainbow and blueberry hills,
More beautiful than a proud peacock’s quills,
A place called Eden with endless delights,
A lush garden by day with Arcadian nights.
The Creator is the only sovereign in this land,
On every hill and valley, you can see God’s hand.
He’s loved and praised with every creature’s breath,
For by His grace, we know not the sting of death.
There are many flower blooms to brighten all life.
The birds melodious songs soothe away strife.
There’s food for the stomach and thrills for the eye,
For all God’s creatures of land, water, and sky.
We have leaves for the butterfly and nectar for the bee,
And berries for the springbok and still plenty fruit for me.
The hippo has plenty green grass with grasshoppers for the snake,
And as many fat rabbits as the hungry lion can take.
We’ve got figs aloft left for the giraffe,
And honey for the bear that compels her to laugh.
The games we play in Eden keep our fervor rare,
Like shooting baskets with cabbage and tossing parsnips in the air,
Rolling lettuce into the cellar and turnips into the pot,
Squeezing tomatoes to make them sweet whether folly or not.
Don’t worry about the reverend, she outmatches the moon,
And dances in the garden with dessert and a spoon.
She’s chest-high in the berries and dressed only with a beam.
I sure hope God wants her to allow me a little ice cream.
‘Cause she’s a sensation for human vision, she has a vision too,
The preacher sees the Word in the air and inherent in the dew.
In my deepest inmost part, I feel life’s power surge.
God’s omnipresence warms and bids my moods to merge.
I love to watch the sun ascend to its cloudy throne,
And I listen to the sparrows sing in a respectful tone.
The birds of heaven now in place, wearing feathered robes aglow,
Harmonize with a melodious breeze that began to blow a billion years ago.
Grapes ripen and grow sweeter from vine to carafe
And await the pleasure of immortal lips that pucker and laugh.
Here our hearts are light as a leaf on an apple tree,
‘Cause every wish and desire and dream is crowned with victory.
In this region called Eden, life’s eternal green spring,
Rivers flow gently in majesty and God’s praises sparrows sing.
Along beside the trees good for food and pleasant to the sight,
There is ground to be tilled and, for man, to dress and keep right.
We will eat and drink the reward of our labors to our hearts’ content,
As long as we obey the God of this eternal surface and firmament.
Animals feast on the land while flowers dazzle in the light of day.
A meal fresh from the soil is a message that we are blessed in every way.
Robins and bluebirds visit daily and serenade us from on high
And leave us sweet memories when they fly away into the sky.
Watching the breezes waltz with the trees bring visions of romance.
The voyages of the hummingbirds put our blissful minds in a trance.
With the sun sending its beam from heaven, flowers extend above.
Through this interlude of beauty, God teaches us to think of love.
In this vast garden watered by rivers and running streams,
The nectar from its succulence fuels our sweet dreams.
To honor two prominent nymphs who reside in my conscience
And that fertilize my ego with their unselfish munificence,
I made two manors in the garden, by the grace from the Maker,
Naming one for Moms Mabley and the other for Josephine Baker.
In Mabley Manor there’s carrots, squash, cucumbers, and more,
A plenty sweet corn, yams, beans, and peppers galore.
Now Miss Baker’s Manor has beets, turnips, and tomatoes sweet,
And cabbage, onions, melons, and plenty more to eat.
Why this colossal pair, the whispering breeze may say?
Because of the many lives they enriched along the way.
This now is my eternal refuge and strong habitation,
Where I go daily to the Lord and ask for His consultation.
Let my mouth speak Thy praise and Thy honor each day,
And may Thy lavish wholeness in us wield sway.
The lips that seek my hurt are filled by the sweetness of the garden.
And from the rivers unto the ends of this realm, no heart can harden.

The Scenic Garden
As I walk with your hand in mine, I see the most beautiful paradise known to man,
My eyes water at the magnificence of this garden like land,
Everything looks as if it’s a dream beyond the farthest span,
Let’s take a walk through paradise as I hold your hand,
I can see that majestic fountain that sits in the center of the garden of glee,
I observe in awe as I see the water flow gently down the steeps,
And it seems as if this is all made up in a dream,
But the reality is that in this garden of glee is where the angels sleep,
I’ve never seen something so beautiful in my life,
It looks as if the heavens came down to enhance my dream like sight,
The flowers are so scenic of pink, yellow, red and white,
This wonderland is so beautiful the plants blossom in the night,
As I walk with your hand in mine the rain drizzles gently to the ground,
I listen closely and I hear the birds chirping in the most beautiful of sounds,
I’m surrounded by magic in this beautiful garden all around,
Then I turn to you and lay my lips on yours,
I close my eyes in the process and realize it’s even more beautiful than before,
What I’ve realized is that, this magic garden isn’t the most that I adore,
It’s your hand in mine that I’ll hold forever more.

My Garden Fair
Flowers are blooming in
my garden fair. Their
sweet perfume fills the
air. My Garden fair is
beautiful to see., with all
its glory surrounding me.
My garden fair is romantic
and bright, and so redeeming
in sunlight where song birds
nestle in the trees, and sing
with each flowing breeze.
My garden fair is a glorious
sight, that I rush to greet
at twilight my garden fair is
most supreme with such lovely
enchanting scenes.

The Garden
I know a garden like a child,
Clean and new-washed and reconciled.
It grows its own sweet way, yet still
Has guidance of some tender will
That clips, confines, its wilder mood
And makes it happy, being good.
Around the lordly mountains stand,
For this is an enchanted land,
As though their splendours stood to grace
This little lovely garden place,
Looking with wise and keeping eyes
Upon the garden sanctities.
Box borders edge each little bed,
Paths narrow for a child to tread
Divide the kitchen garden, dear
And sweet with musk and lavender,
And water-mints and beans in bloom.
Be sure the honeybee's at home.
How should I tell in a sweet list
Of beauties, rose and amethyst;
The little water-garden cool
On sultry days, and beautiful
The wall-garden, the shade, the sun,
Since they are lovely, every one.
Hot honey of the pines is sweet,
And when the day's at three o'clock heat
A winding walk will you invite
To a new garden out of sight.
And a green seat is set so near
The sluggish, stealing backwater.
The Spirit of the garden plays
At hide-and-seek an hundred ways
And when you've captured her, she will
Elude you, calling backward still,
A silver echo -- a sweet child,
Demure and lovesome, gay and wild.

Emerson
I saw the bee!
But when i came around to your garden, it turned into a butterfly;
Yes, in the land of your muse where you have a beautiful garden.
For, true love brought me closer to you.
This is about the wonderful garden of your love! !
And of all the things planted in this garden;
But, your magical works tranformed this bee that i saw into a butterfly,
However, i will always like to visit this garden of love.
I am Emerson and, this bee that i saw attracted me to your beautiful garden;
And like the muse of true love in the land of beautiful flowers,
But, this magical touch will always be in my mind.

Secret Paradise
I have nurtured a garden for you in my heart,
A beautiful garden, full of sweet roses…
And jasmine trees in fragrance,
Where you see green and golden birds flew freely.
Every day I visited this garden paradise,
And cherished every moments of it,
As I promise not to leave and forget,
Our secret paradise, always blooming in my heart.

Our Marriage Is Our Garden
Our marriage is our garden.
I want our garden to be beautiful.
With lush green grass,
With fragrant and colourful flowers.
A place of solace.
A place of peace.
A place of love.
Our garden must be watered.
Not watered too much.
As that would saturate the ground.
Not watered too little.
As that would leave the plants wilted.
And our grass barren.
But regularly.
So the flowers can stand tall
It must be weeded.
It must be maintained.
It must be loved.
We will plant seeds in our garden.
For new life makes any garden more beautiful and diverse.
We can harvest the fruit trees, but our harvest is limited
If we eat all the fruit too quick,
Then we must wait until the next harvest to eat again.
If we don't pick the fruit when it is right, it will spoil.
Our harvest is for our family.
If I eat all the fruit myself, then they will starve.
If we eat too much we will get sick.
If we eat what we are supposed to, then we will be healthy.
If we do not monitor the fruit,
Then someone might eat more than their share.
If we do not stand guard in our garden,
A thief might come into the garden to steal our fruit.
The fruit for our family.
For their garden must be barren and their crops have spoiled.
Our garden will stand the test of all seasons.
As all gardens do.
Another garden will also experience the same seasons.
Just at different times.
All gardens face rain.
All gardens get sun.
It is the rain that nourishes the garden and helps it's life to grow.
But our garden must be maintained regularly.
Only artificial things require no maintenance.
The artificial has no life.
It is fake, it is plastic.
Our garden needs to be real.
So life may grow and continue to grow.
So one day our children can enjoy a garden of their own.
For them and their children.
May their garden be overflowing with life and love.
And be the most beautiful garden in the world.

The Colonists
To men now of her blood and race
England's a little garden place,
Dear as a woman is, and she
The Queen of every loyalty.
To dwellers 'mid the ice and snows,
She is their secret garden rose
From which that bee, their heart, sucks off
For the cold Winter honey enough.
To toilers 'mid the sultry plains,
Sick for her tempered suns and rains,
She is the thought that wets their eyes
And hearts with dew of Paradise.
Most loved of those who never knew
Her green o' the silk and her soft blue,
Her mild inviolate fields that be
Hedged with the sweet-briar of the sea.
Sweet in their dreams her Summers are,
Her tranquil nights of moon and star,
The love-songs of her nightingales;
A water-spring that never fails.
Amid their unending distances
Her little crowded sweetness is
A dream of rest, a dream of prayer,
With homes and children everywhere.
Touch her -- and they are all on fire,
This little land of their desire
Seen in a mirage far away
With light upon her night and day.

Sonnet 82: Nymph Of The Garden
Nymph of the garden where all beauties be,
Beauties which do in excellency pass
His who till death look'd in a wat'ry glass,
Or hers, whom naked the Trojan boy did see;
Sweet garden nymph, which keeps the cherry tree
Whose fruit doth far th'Hesperian taste surpass;
Most sweet-fair, most fair-sweet, do not alas,
From coming near those cherries banish me:
For though full of desire, empty of wit,
Admitted late by your best-graced Grace,
I caught at one of them a hungry bit,
Pardon that fault. Once more grant me the place
And I do swear e'en by the same delight,
I will but kiss, I never more will bite.

Nature Trail
At the bottom of my garden
There's a hedgehog and a frog
And a lot of creepy-crawlies
Living underneath a log,
There's a baby daddy long legs
And an easy-going snail
And a family of woodlice,
All are on my nature trail.
There are caterpillars waiting
For their time to come to fly,
There are worms turning the earth over
As ladybirds fly by,
Birds will visit, cats will visit
But they always chose their time
And I've even seen a fox visit
This wild garden of mine.
Squirrels come to nick my nuts
And busy bees come buzzing
And when the night time comes
Sometimes some dragonflies come humming,
My garden mice are very shy
And I've seen bats that growl
And in my garden I have seen
A very wise old owl.
My garden is a lively place
There's always something happening,
There's this constant search for food
And then there's all that flowering,
When you have a garden
You will never be alone
And I believe we all deserve
A garden of our own.

Over The Rainbow
Words & Music by E.Y. Harburg and Harold Arlen
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
Theres a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over that rainbow
All skies are blue, oh
And where dreams
That you dare to dream
Really do come true
Someday Ill wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
And troubles mount like lemon drops
Way above the chimney tops
Thats where youll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly, oh
If birds can fly over the rainbow
Why, then why cant I?
Someday Ill wake and rub my eyes
And in that land beyond the skies
Youll find me
Ill be a laughing daffodil
And leave the silly cares that
Fill my mind behind me
Somewhere over that rainbow
Bluebirds fly
If birds can fly over the rainbow
Why, then why cant I?
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why cant I?

Ballade Of Eternal Bliss
Here the sun shines soft and warm—
Caressing all in vales and on hill—
It gives a glow to every inherent form—
And reveals for every eye a thrill.
Of here they never get their fill—
For this is Bliss, an endless treasure—
Where our dream is the Lord’s will—
And God rules by His divine pleasure.
The garden is a lush, green platform—
Big blooms with the fluffiness of chenille—
Songbirds’ music raise a storm—
Their feathered robes fill the bill.
Wings spread they fly away at freewill—
Along the curvy course of the river—
They seek the Lord’s grace with skill—
And God rules by His divine pleasure.
The dream cottage, fancy for the norm—
With a stone paved path to the doorsill—
A neat little shelter from the storm—
Has a spice garden for basil and dill.
And there’s a gazebo for time to kill-
For when gardenwork calls for leisure—
Or even for the blessing of a drizzle—
And God rules by His divine pleasure.
To some this vision may instill—
A yearning for the bliss in nature—
But the Lord is sovereign still—
And God rules by His divine pleasure.

An Open Grave
The water in the pond is like the gold of Uphaz,
But the realm of the Chaldeans is like a cake unturned!
To the residence of the heathen with eyes to see,
For behold! I am for you like the breath of life.
I will turn my door wide open for you always,
Of the garden of sweet love to touch your heart;
So come into my room and see the sweet bed of love.
I am from the four winds of the earth,
And i am always around you to share my love with;
So come and expose your nakedness to me,
Like the sweet garden of love with sweet apples.
Don't be like an open grave without a clue,
For you are so beautiful by all standards!
Because, the water from your pond is like the gold of Uphaz.

My Childhood Garden
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
lush and green
it was so happy it made me scream
my joy and hopes
and all my mopes
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
with the ups and downs
when i jumped i could not touch the ground
with my purle ponys
it made it homey
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
flying high
with the little lies
the grass fine
up in the sky my kite
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
now in the past
i now know that it can never last
now as i get taller
it was differnt when i was smaller

My Kingship
I am a king and i have no servants,
I rule alone and i have no anger;
But my land is full of aromantic apple trees.
I go round daily around the apple trees and,
I say hello to the beauty around them;
I taste the ripen apple fruits like,
A sweet romance in a lovely garden.
Attractive as they are,
They are my only companoions!
For my Kingship is for these sweet apples.

A blossom
As it Blooms in silence
I was truly allured
a flower's humble beauty
her future ensured
exceptional glamor I spotted
in this lovely garden of her.
Rain fall softly on her petals
it fell down slowly light as feather
the shimmering and sparkling
of the thick and dripping humid;
condensing in every bud
in this lovely garden of her.
The blurry vision of early dawn fog,
the charming rays of peeking sun,
those silencing sounds of earth
makes most sense of elegance
in this lovely garden of her.
The wind blowing in rhythm
setting free the dancing pecks
the melody of the ambiance,
the sweet smell of honey-nectar,
the aroma of her sincerity
that brings all my joy,
draws every smile in my face
each day of my life
in this lovely garden of her.
Yet there came a time the wind blew hard
Drought came fast and wither starts
little by little her throat seized
grasping her breath she naught fought.
The skies turned black and lights blinks fast
then her crave they overfed to death
overhead came the water dark
'None could ever survive'
They proven wrong...
For the dusk end and the night came
The moon came yet not to help
the tide higher he hath even made..
Alas! Dawn breaks& moon withdraws
The sun came and peek again
in this lovely garden of her...
There the earth witness her wilt
yet new life brought by rain and shine..
a humble blossom in joy and gloom
a story in cycle in this lovely garden of her...

The Garden of Eden (Bible Poems for Children)
The garden of eden, was made
by God,
Adam, the first man, to ever
trod.
Beautiful trees, and plants
grew there,
Adam was happy, without a
care.
Tree of Life, and Knowledge
too,
Planted, in the garden grew.
The tree of Knowledge, God
forbid,
Do not touch, or he would rid.
A lost paradise would occur,
A magic kingdom, all a blur.
One day when Adam fell asleep,
God took a rib, made Eve so
sweet.
Satan came in form of a snake,
Tempted Eve, for goodness sake.
She ate the apple ripe and red,
gave it to Adam, Adam was fed.
A paradise was lost that day,
A working life began this way.
