Rain or Shine, It's Divine

The golden fiery eye rises
In the east and sets in the west
And shines for a day in between;
Although at times there may be clouds
That shrouds its penetrating rays
From us, we know its radiance
Is like a god that can’t be seen
But still feel his omnipresence.
And when the heavenly tears fall
From the sky, they are tears of joy
Not to be confused with sadness
For this god is a loving god
That showers all of us with love
Yes, even the nonbelievers.

Rain falls from heaven.
Behind the clouds the sun shines
Patiently in wait.

The shining. For Tara.

It shines.
It shines from the new-born baby;
shines in the magic of birth.
It shines in first love;
in lasting love.
It shines in laughter,
in tears of sadness,
in tears of joy.
It shines in wisdom,
shines in goodness,
shines as beauty.
It shines in the held breath
of the peace of dawn about to break;
it shines in the stillness
of the hour of sunset.
It shines as life.

There is no limit to its shining
except the denying of it
and even then,
it shines

Since you know it so well,
does it need a name?
A name perhaps, to praise?

Nameless, known to all,
beyond all praise,
it shines.

Majestic Weather

Majestic Weather
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted July 28 2008

We live even love to worship the sun like god
The birds sing when the sun rises and the sun sets,
Without the sun it would be cold and darkness all the time.

We do not worship the clouds
When they can be white fluffs,
Or grey masses so called black clouds cause disaster or rain.

If it was not cloudy it would not cool the earth
It would not shower or showers to cause puddles,
Than after the shower or showers the sun comes out to be beautiful.
So while the sun shines a rainbow is over the horizon that is majestic colors.

Rain drops fall from heaven

Tears swelling up in my eyes every night
Rain drops fall from heaven
Simply a walking disguise in the light
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wondering when i will be alright
Rain drops fall from heaven
Growing so weak no energy to fight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Losing all hope in my mind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing that i could simply unwind
Rain drops fall from heaven

As time goes love makes me blind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i didn't have to leave her behind
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wanting to make everything right
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i could see her in sight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wishing I had the strength to fight
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i could hold her tight
Rain drops fall from heaven

Never knowing if she remembers me
Rain drops fall from heaven
Never know if we were meant to be
Rain drops fall from heaven

Wishing i had more time to see
Rain drops fall from heaven
My family that always loved me
Rain drops fall from heaven

Thinking back to the times we had
Rain drops fall from heaven
Smiles and laughter but yet so sad
Rain drops fall from heaven

Just sitting here all alone
Rain drops fall from heaven
Wishing i was way back home
Rain drops fall from heaven

Now the only thing that is on my mind
Rain drops fall from heaven
Is the memories i have way back in time
Rain drops fall from heaven

The tears from my eyes and deep inside
Rain drops fall from heaven
Matches the drops that come from the sky
Rain drops fall from heaven

If you could even begin to wonder why
Rain drops fall from heaven
It is simply those tears from lies
Rain drops fall from heaven

Every time it rains i stare to the clouds
Rain drops fall from heaven
Hoping one day she will simply fall
Rain drops fall from heaven

Right into my arms where she belongs
Rain drops fall from heaven
So that i can sing her a song
Rain drops fall from heaven

A song that tells her how i feel
Rain drops fall from heaven
A song that is nothing but real
Rain drops fall from heaven

That will be the day that will bring me joy
Rain drops fall from heaven
Too bad it wont happen to this boy
Rain drops fall from my eyes 24/7

Flute-Priest Song For Rain

Whistle under the water,
Make the water bubble to the tones of the flute.
I call the bluebirds song into the water:
Wee-kee! Wee-kee-kee!
Dawn is coming,
The morning star shines upon us.
Bluebird singing to the West clouds,
Bring the humming rain.

Water-rattles shake,
Flute whistles,
Star in Heaven shines.
I blow the oriole's song,
The yellow song of the North.
I call rain clouds with my rattles:
Wee-kee-kee, oriole.
Pattering rain.

To the South I blow my whistle,
To the red parrot of the South I call.
Send red lightning,
Under your wings
The forked lightning.
Thunder-rattles whirl
To the sky waters.
Fill the springs.
The water is moving.
Wait -

Whistle to the East
With a magpie voice.
Wee-kee! Wee-kee-kee!
Call the storm-clouds
That they come rushing.
Call the loud rain.

Why does it not come?
Who is bad?
Whose heart is evil?
Who has done wickedness?
I weep,
I rend my garments,
I grieve for the sin which is in this place.
My flute sobs with the voice of all birds in the water.
Even to the six directions I weep and despair.
Come, O winds, from the sides of the sky,
Open your bird-beaks that rain may fall down.
Drench our fields, our houses,
Fill the land
With tumult of rain.

A Question For You?

i ask the wind
when will i ever see you again?

and the clouds hear it and then
the sun shines telling it is when the clear day comes again

and then i wait and there is rain for days and days.

on a clear day, the sun shines the flowers bloom and i wait again

there is no you, not even a shadow, and i left

the sun, the wind, the rain, the clouds

they have nothing to give for my quest for answers,
useless metaphors, broken promises, empty poems
shattered dreams

Yellow Rose

She came in my dreams last night,
She left a yellow rose and a love note on pillow next to me,
As always the inscription read,
'we are friends for ever and in the eternity'.

Since a rose is a rose,
why the red rose shines in the glory of love?
why the white roses remind us of our departed souls?
and why the yellow rose shines the rays of friendship in all of us?

Like sunshine bursting through grey clouds,
The aura of friendship emanates from its golden petals,
The frozen dew drops on its soft satin petals,
glorifies tears on my cheeks in the times of sadness,
Its mere presence and the fragrance,
fills my heart with the scent of warmth and affection.

Yellow rose you are perfection in creation,
I wonder why you have to wither away in time,
With every falling petal, a heart is broken,
with every withered yellow rose, a token of eternal friendship is lost.

Teardrops & Rainbows

When sorrow comes into our lives
and tears of sadness fall,
they never go unnoticed,
God sees them one and all.

Our tears are very precious
In the eyes of our dear Lord,
He calls them up into the clouds
where they are safely stored.

When clouds are heavy laden
from the weight which they contain,
they release the stored up moisture
and our tears are in the rain.
25827
Then when the rain has ended,
look to the sky above.
and when you see a rainbow
God is sending you His love.

Put all faith and trust in Him
and be comforted to know,
time will mend your broken heart
and bring a bright rainbow.

Cry Clouds Cry (Haiti Tribute)

Cry clouds cry
tears from the heaven
showers the land as many die
so cry clouds cry

Bodies piled up in count
as many died
earth trembled beneath feet
as the heavens abide
so cry clouds cry

Children left with no hope
families broken apart
left a void in our heart
as masses quake and buildings
shake as relationships break
so cry clouds cry

Black rain fall from the sky
as to many die
all cause of so much lies
so cry clouds cry

It hurts to know you care
and for that we always hold you near
thousand left this world but we still bear
as the voice of the nation we began to hear
so cry clouds cry

Let your voice be heard
though it was observed
it brought our nation together
and that was well deserved
so cry clouds cry

Rain Tears

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Melding in torrential fears:
Chill of cloud; saddened eye-
In either way, a latent cry.

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Married under sceptic jeers:
‘They'll never last.' Methinks not true, for
Either way, forever blue.

Rain, tears, rain, tears,
Simple love with lacy cares,
Their intercourse will ne'er refrain
From rain and tears and tears and rain.

Friend

My life is a puzzle that challenges the mastermind, and the
Love I feel for you is deeper than the well of silence…
When I look up into the sky, I see clouds obliterate the rays of the sun, though
You are the gentle breeze that blows those clouds away, as
You capture the rain, my tears- in your loving hands,
And transform them to dewdrops that glisten in
The sunshine at the dawning of each new day.
My soul dances inside of a stallion and inside of the exterior of a
Playful and innocent child, my heart weeps and trembles and
The voice of my spirit chortles although at times screams out in terror, but the
Voices that plague my troubled mind will not be silenced...
You are the brightest star of all of the constellations that shine upon
My dark world, and the gentle hand that wipes my tears away,
The jester that makes me laugh, and the song that moves me to tears…

Unwritten love

Heavenly music choral,
Floral
In my soul
Waking
Memories start to roll.
A film of life.

Dancing in the kitchen
With my mother on Christmas Eve.
Feelings like no other.
Unwritten love will weave.

Poetry
That unwritten music
Narrates.
While golden caresses
Wait at the gates.
Earthly tears then dissipate
To send rain for our thirst
Emotion's buds dispersed.

Beautiful music
Unwritten love
Heaven's lights kiss clouds above.
Then sun on our face
Pleasing to the eye.
Unwritten love
Drifts
Across an open sky.

Poetry unwritten music to our ears
A life of rhyme to wipe away the tears.
And though memories mime
We scribe our souvenirs.
Unwritten love
Sweet music from above.
Plays in our soul.
Like morning star
On Heaven's scroll.

Thunderstorm

Layers vapour against the window
while the rain
fall for days long without end
and I see forked lightning
like blue-white tentacles
feeling the earth

and here and there
are a few stars
that gleams through the clouds
as if something
is peering from above to below

and I can hear the breath of it
rattling the windows
while it comes nearer

and I wonder if it is urine
or tears
that falls without end
and nothing out of that heaven
can decent to me

but outside the streetlights
glows citrine yellow
and the slippery wet road
shines like onyx

and suddenly the sky is dark
and somewhere I hear a car
breaking and slipping
and hitting another
with a great bang

and suddenly the monster
is gone
while tears
hisses down softly
from the heaven

and sirens come nearer
and higher up in the street
there are flashing blue and red
and white lights that shine up and down.

Sweet Is The Night

When the day is done and theres nowhere to run
And the people of the city have all lost and won
In your city dress you stand and stare
And you smoke another cigarette and comb your hair
And the light that shines
Paints a trace of sadness
On the street I wait
But I cant seem to get to you.
Well, you start to sway, check your cartier
cos its getting late, you cant afford to wait
So you move along where its going on
And the people of the night are playing till the dawn
And the sun that shines
Paints a trace of sadness
In your eyes that cry
Wishing and hoping
Oh...
Chorus:
Sweet, sweet is the night
Now you are near
Dark, dark were the days
They disappear
Sweet, sweet is the night
Now you are near.
Well you did your thing and you lost your wings
And you hurt so bad you lost everything
And the tears that fall on the city wall
Will fade away with the rays of morning light that shines
Paints a smile across your pretty face
I know
Everything is alright
Alright...
Repeat chorus

This Is Like Heaven To Me

Heaven is where we walk the streets made of gold,
And secrets of our hearts will be told.
The further we go the heavenly sunset we behold
Thinking of heaven where angles are ordained of God
Around the throne eternity is bound,
Wound in celestial mantle our old prayers are found.

Where you will never age, and see sunrise in the dark,
Waiting for the star and the dewy morning light,
Appearing so bright the night is soon forgotten.
Heaven wakes the stations in the entire kingdom,
A new enchantment waiting to be discovered,
A secret world lies between heaven and earth.

Walking daytime if you are immortal full of life,
On earth life is hell; our lives are like empty shell.
We carry misery from early birth to the deep earth,
Belief keeps us looking for heaven in the clouds,
In hope of humane rapture that will give peace.

And take in the dim view; to a place that is new
Where teenagers can dress like linen lilies.
Hiding a sermon you cannot walk to church with,
The sign makes the heart free from the pain of fear.
And the sky above them are laden with smoke,
Dreams which could be paradise move uneasy,
The next day life is different when they awake.

This is like heaven to me with love and dreams,
I will wait patiently until my destiny come.
They see the blue skies above and watch the smoke
Move gently through the clouds away from the crowd,
Gathering storm brings the rain that will quickly fall,
One of Gods messenger touches the Glover grass.
And soon the dark shadows past into the night,
Be reborn in the harvest of heavenly paradise.

On the street where I live there is a ladder to climb
Tall hedges and scented foliage blind the golden sun,
That sweet savor with leaves fluttering in the wind,
Turned the pages as they move below the window pane,
They seemed too changed and turn a different color.

And the heart looses gain and falls apart with pain,
The realm of this world tries to take control,
Angels tells a different story running from heaven.
My mind does not exist among the clouds
When the rain falls, blessings feel like I am forgiven

African violet sometimes your eyes are wet,
But the showers needs to fall on barren hearts,
Places we have been and the things we regret.

Water My Thirsty Soul

Can the rain fall from cloudless skies
Can your tears fall from hardened eyes
I cried out to the Lord, in my time of need
I prayed for the rain, my soul to feed

And my God, who is never far away
Opened up His heart as He listened to me pray
And from heaven on high He sent down the rain
There's a river of grace that's gonna wash away the pain

And out of my heart flows a river so deep
My once dry eyes they now continually weep
And everywhere the river flows there's grace from above
And everyone it touches they are filled with His love

This rain that falls, it falls from endless blue skies
It fills my empty heart and falls down from my eyes
The Lord Himself sent down the rain from above
And now the cloudless skies are filled with clouds of His love

So if it's rain your looking for, this moment, today
Wont you fall down on your knees and cry out and pray
The Lord of every rain dropp that falls down from above
Will sweep you down the river to an ocean of love

This ocean is boundless, its forever and a day
And in this sea of beauty you will hear the Lord say
I am the Father's tears that was shed from above
And I will carry you home across this ocean of love

Safe Place

There exists someplace a mountain, golden hued and a forest of
Trees, their branches sturdy and long-
Trying to reach the heavens where
Stars dance in the moonlit hours and
Gulls fly, their bodies casting shadows
Against the topaz-blue creek below-
Beautiful in their innocence-
Here gentle breezes would rustle tall grasses, and
Rain never falls upon this magical kingdom of nature-
I feel as if I can almost touch the rising sun that shines
Brightly over fields of dew-kissed grass upon
This blissful, faraway place where
I am alone and omnipotent at the end of my journey to
Escape the pain of veracity-
Having found a safe empire in my solitude-
Far from the nightmares of reality-
Though sadly- only in my fondest reverie;
There exists a mountain golden hued where
I can, along with the trees, their branches sturdy and long-
Reach the heavens during moonlit hours and
Dance with the stars in this blissful, far away place-
Here, in my dream state I have hitched a ride upon the tail of a shooting star, and
Looking down upon the topaz-blue creek below-
My tears would fall as would raindrops making flowers and grass grow tall-
I would weep tears of dismay because I find that I cannot escape what is real-
I have found the world to be a dangerous place and as the sun rises
All that I can do is to watch the gulls soar across the sky
Amazingly spectacular in their flight for freedom, as they
Journey further into the sky until they disappear behind clouds of misfortune-
When the sun sets, my spirit awakens,
Finding myself standing atop that same golden hued mountain alone while
The moon rises above the trees and I can imagine safe places
In the universe beyond the stars with hope that before the sun rises at
The dawning of another day, once again my fantasies shall carry me away to where
I can once again hear the gulls calling amidst a gentle breeze and
There are no more tears left for me to cry-
I have escaped reality forever, though only within a dream?

Raining Tears

out my eyes,
from the clouds
they fall
tears of rain,
tears of all.

down my cheeks,
from which i fall,
they rain,
on
and on.

across my lips,
down the rivers,
tears of rain,
just go
on
and on.

down my chin,
down the plateau,
lonely river
just flows
on
and on
on and on.

drops to the chest,
across my heart,
raining tears,
into a ocean
deep in blue,
on
and on

on and on

the ocean goes
lonely ocean of tears.

In the face of the rain

In the face of the rain
~
It can fall for all I care
I will stand in face of it all
It has washed away my tears
It has cooled my desires
Answered my thirst
And washed my soul
The rain it still falls
Stand out in the rain
Look the clouds in the eye
Feel it coming down
And lay arms open wide
The rain can fall and fall
We can stand and feel its touch
Looking up into that sky
In the face of the rain
There is life

In The Middle Of The Year

In the middle of the year,
Seldom the sky shows his face.
The clouds reign with friends,
And, the land hails drops of rain.
The clouds play origamy with,
The folding flakes of their
Feather making rafts, boats, ships
One after another on the chest of
The sky, some restless clouds,
Fall to earth to feel the adventures
Of their life, to get into the
Embrace of the stream, river
Seas and oceans, to be evaporated
Again to meet their friends.
They smile, laugh and giggle,
With their hearts' content.
The sun sees this behind the,
Mountains of clouds, peeps
Sometimes, to give ray to,
The rain-bathed earth---
Then the earth, shines in joy!

Never Forget

When the rain falls
I watch the grey clouds
When my friend smiles
I look for sadness
When I watch a romance movie
I watch the tears that fall
Why can't I see the good?

When I look at the beauty around me
I always look for a flaw
When someone is nice to me
I wonder what their motive is
When something good happens
I wait for something bad
Then you came along...

You showed me what it was to cry
You showed me what it was to laugh
You showed me what it was to feel
You showed me what it was to love
You showed me what it was to be loved...

Now you are here
I can't lose you
You are my light
My star, my rock
If you were to leave me
I would be empty again!

I am worried that when you leave me
I will forget to feel
SO please don't go away
For you are my strength
My happiness, my love
You are my friend
And always will be!

Thankyou for being here
When I need you most
And thankyou for trusting me
When I did't trust myself
I love you
Always have, always will...

Never forget that...
