Post Apocalypse
I walk alone, bewildered, scared to death.
I haven’t any memory... survey
Through ash and try to think...I snatch a breath
And try again. The air is foul today!
I must be dreaming. That’s it! I’m dreaming.
I’ll soon awaken from this craziness
And find myself aright again. Beaming
A smile and laughing at myself, I guess.
But something isn’t right. It’s what I see:
The people, where have all the people gone?
I see homes and autos, some leafless trees.
They are ash-covered phantoms. Begone!
I’ll waken soon. It's only imagined,
A dream. Oh God! Please help me comprehend.

Scared to Death
I feel my heart beat as I lie there and breath every breath in.I feel as if im scared to death and nothing there to support me as i fall.I dream dreams that could not have an explination to them.I wake up breathing as hard as before as my feet touch the floor, I am scared to death.I love my life but there comes a time when you just have to admit everything that is wrong.As I breath so calmly and smooth just then i find out the truth.Im scared to death.I walk around with a smile and realize this life has so many 'un-discovered' facts and as we learn the facts i see that the worlds going to waist.Im scared to death.I look around wondering if anyone else knows or feels my pain, only because im scared to death.I wish i could tell someone I wish they would know, so i dont feel as if im in the world alone.Im scared to death.I wonder how i live this life with all the secrets i hold my behind my breath just to realize im scared to death!

The Lost People of a Peaceful Place
I sit quietly under the trees, staring at my barrier of leaves.
They whisper against each other, telling me the stories
of a long-forgotten past. Of a world many generations ago,
that housed a very different people.
A people close to Nature.
A people that was kicked out of their beautiful home
to be moved along the Trail of Tears like cattle.
To be put through the suffereing no man should dream of inflicting.
They left without a trace.
Staring at these trees, one would never guess that this place
used to be the home of quiet, peaceful people.
One would never guess how happy these people could be
without mandatory luxories that they never imagined.
