Diffident Demeanor
Her flirtatious eyes met mine. A pretentious flutter
caused me to flinch. Her conspicuous smile
confirmed how silly I looked. Yet looking
at her, at those eyes, I didn’t give a damn.
Sitting two tables away might as well have been
a metric mile. I thought to myself: Is she
actually alone or is she waiting for someone?
I see only one glass, the one in her hand
but that doesn’t prove a thing. Think again Romeo!
Have I only imagined romantic overtures?
I probably did. I could prove otherwise
if I had the courage but being bold
is not my nature. I guess I’ll never know.
So here I sit like a stone statue.

Crazy About Her
I'm so Crazy about her,
I think of her night and day,
ooh yeah,
her baby-blue eyes,
her godly brown locks,
The best damn body,
that any guy would want,
to get with,
I'm a bunch of nerves,
no style, no figures,
just a small town boy,
just looking for some love,
and a mind that never quits,
and a heart of gold,
but you can't that,
by stand there alone,
and so lonely.
So what are you doing,
over there playing with your hair,
waiting to be rescued,
and swept off your feet,
by your prince in shinning armor,
and on a white horse,
Or are you going to sit on that rock,
so neatly with your legs crossed,
or do I have to make the first move,
persuade you to take a dip in my love pool,
Chorus: Crazy About Her,
Well it Not Stop,
Crazy About Her,
She Makes My Heart flutter,
Crazy About Her,
You look so lovely,
let me pick this flower up,
and give it to you,
and make you smile so big,
smile like you used to,
now here I go,
bringing her happiness you can see,
she’s so beautiful,
it was love at first site,
Chorus: Crazy About Her,
Well it Not Stop,
Crazy About Her,
She Makes My Heart flutter,
Crazy About Her,
She smiles at me,
and tells me that I'm sweet,
I get a warm feeling,
a feeling that wants to now more about her,
she placed her hand on my cheek,
and she looked into my eyes,
but her eyes looked into my soul,
a wild sensation,
was I in love? ,
or was I just insane?
I can feel her fears,
and taste her passions,
Chorus: Crazy About Her,
Well it Not Stop,
Crazy About Her,
She Makes My Heart flutter,
Crazy About Her,
I'll take her hand,
and make her happy tonight,
a dinner,
a night of passion that won't die,
Crazy about her,
Yes I am,
Crazy About Her,
make it last forever,
Crazy About Her,
I Want To Make Her Mine,

A Lady's Worth
Give me a penny worth of love
Its more than many ornaments could prove
Spare me a morsel of charity
Taste let me, thy sweet kiss seasoned into eternity
Save for me a single memorable smile
To carry me forever mile to mile
Look into my eyes and say 'i love you' with all bravery
Prove that thou art to my own usury
Adorn all grace, and me thy beloved, woo me
Yes! To the marraige of two souls shall we be
Release all thy passion, and upon me spend
Two flames will leap beyond mortals end
Be my breath, my light and my happiness
And thee, my love, forever shall i bless! !

Oh I Hate
It sucks how i can still luv u
after all that we been through
through the pain and the joy too
I hate that I still love you
I hate that i still think of you when around other women
I hate that my skin hasnt felt the same without your touch
I hate that my lips refuses to kiss another
I hate my dreams because you visit every night
I hate your smile because it makes me smile
above all I hate those eyes
I hate those eyes cause they say I love you when your
mouth doesn't
I hate those eyes because they see right through me
I hate those eyes for every wink, for every flutter
I hate those eyes for the pain and the love
I can't help it, I'm a hopeless romantic
I'm so tired of fantasy and senseless imagination
I hate myself for craving you, wanting you, loving you still
This is the cost I pay, my bill
The curse of the romantic fantasy, my real

Your Bright Baby Blues
I'm sitting down by the highway
Down by that highway side
Everybody's going somewhere
Riding just as fast as they can ride
I guess they've got a lot to do
Before they can rest assured
Their lives are justified
Pray to god for me baby
He can let me slide
'cause i've been up and down this highway
Far as my eyes can see
No matter how fast i run
I can never seem to get away from me
No matter where i am
I can't help feeling i'm just a day away
From where i want to be
Now i'm running home baby
Like a river to the sea
Baby if you can see me
Out across this wilderness
There's just one thing
I was hoping you might guess
Baby you can free me
All in the power of your sweet tenderness
I can see it in your eyes
You've got those bright baby blues
You don't see what you've got to gain
But you don't like to lose
You watch yourself from the sidelines
Like your life is a game you don't mind playing
To keep yourself amused
I don't mean to be cruel baby
But you're looking confused
Baby if you can hear me
Turn down your radio
There's just one thing
I want you to know
When you've been near me
I've felt the love stirring in my soul
It's so hard to come by
That feeling of peace
This friend of mine said
"close your eyes, and try a few of these"
I thought i flying like a bird
So far above my sorrow
But when i looked down
I was standing on my knees
Now i need someone to help me
Someone to help me please
Baby if you need me
Like i know i need you
There's just one thing
I'll ask you to do
Take my hand and lead me
To the hole in your garden wall
And pull me through

One By One
I remember wasting time
Watching as the planes fly by
I remember hearing the engines echoing through the sky
And they used to say
That someday you'll forget it
You won't hear them
And they used to say
That time goes by
That nothing changes
[Chorus]
I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
One by one I'll prove you wrong
I remember every night
Sitting by the runway side
I remember waiting for a reason to say goodbye
And they used to say
That someday you'll forget it
You won't hear them
And they used to say
The day goes by but you can't change it
[CHORUS]
Sometimes I think I've been wrong
But this is the place that I think I belong
And everytime I speak my mind I'm leaving you behind
and I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
I won't miss my flight again
I'm not where I belong
So give me just one chance
And one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong
one by one I'll prove you wrong

Be There
Give a little love and care
Light up faces with your smile
In others' need be there
Walk an extra mile!
So often they are in disguise
You've to look in their eyes
They're waiting for your hand
Waiting for you to understand!
You have to take a break
Greater things are at stake
Out there is waiting a heart
Know its beat be its part.

I Am The Pretty Girl-Chapter Two
By junior year I was feeling pretty lonely
and I went to this party
where all the pretty girls go
so I had to go and everything
there were boys there from the college.
boys I didn't see very often
mature boys
and I was curious
especially about the one named Josh;
he seemed nice
I had watched him from the time I arrived.
but more important
he seemed to have confidence about himself
in a way I wished I had confidence in my self.
I openly looked at him
caught his eye
letting him know girl-way
I liked him
miracle of all miracles he understood my look-
closed his eyes and started across the room toward me
a gentle smile on his face, growing as he drew near.
I was thrilled as I felt him before he even got close to me,
he had something which made me feel weak
a bit frightened but very excited.
Directly in front of me now
I gave him my blank stare
as he towered above me
and I
suddenly realizing
that all eyes were upon us.
To have a college boy interested in you
was the height
the room stood still
as he pivoted to stand
beside me
like we already knew
each other and everything
I could hear little gasps of surprise because
my girls friends thought that we
somehow
did know each other.
He stood there beside me
watching everyone in the room watch us
then he took my hand
slowly into his,
a soft touch,
just a soft touch
not an aggressive touch
and whispered
'Act casual and we can just cruise on out of here
You go first-I will cover you.'
He made me laugh and in that moment I relaxed.
Josh had the ability to make me laugh from the very start.
I took his hand and led him toward a side door
into what was a small garden
with sliding glass doors
so everyone could see us
but not hear us.
I was so relieved to be out of there
and he was too I guess.
He chuckled,
still holding my hand
finally saying;
'I am never going to let go of your hand
ever.'
I looked at him sideways
and he burst out laughing
'Well I will let go sometime
but not before you give me
one of your beautiful smiles.'
Involuntarily I did give him a big smile-
he made me smile,
and then with that smile still on my face
he slowly took his hand from mine
and placed his finger tips on my lips.
The entire room behind those glass doors
gave a hushed gasp
I could almost hear;
from my corner eye
I could see
see heads swirling
as people did double-takes
looking at us.
Then for the first time
in a long time
I felt like the pretty girl
a real pretty girl
thinking if Josh was
or was not going to be the one
to whom I would lose my virginity to.
The thought made me blush.

Mole On My Thigh
Sitting on a sandy beach,
under a tropical sun,
watching the palm trees sway.
While someone with a romantic guitar,
serenades a couple of sweethearts,
locked in a loving embrace there.
I look around at the empty space,
there beside me,
wishing you were here with me.
Instead of a thousand miles away,
in the rain with someone else.
It takes two to start an argument,
both are guilty, not just one.
You walked away from my arms,
straight into his waiting there.
His smile looked more like a callous grin,
he had won and I had lost,
or at least that is what I thought.
Then came the telegram this morning,
to say you were coming here,
that you and he were through.
I can only wonder what went wrong.
So here, I am again sitting on the sand,
and then there along the beach I see you.
I wave and you come running,
straight towards me.
I stand, smile, and stretch out my arms,
all ready to catch you,
but you keep running passed.
I raise an eyebrow and looked around,
as into someone else’s arm you glide.
I scratch my head, get ready to sit down,
a tap on my shoulder,
makes me look around and there is you.
But who is that over there?
My twin sister, you replied.
I closed my eyes and give a grown.
Twins! Identical twins! I stuttered.
But how can I tell you apart?
She smiled, by the mole on my thigh.
All I could say was,
Oh my…
OH my…
OH my…

Eyes of Death
I looked into your eyes
Your Eyes of Death
I killed for those eyes to look into mine
Into my eyes of pain and guilt
I dared to walk into your path
I dared to take your hand into mine
And I dared to tell you my darkest secret
I stared into your Eyes of Death
And I lost my soul to them
When I looked into your Eyes of Death.
To this day, I am still dead
To this day, I can no longer live in the mortal world
To this day, we shall not die of fire, water, or love,
But of our Eyes of Death that rein our souls
I stare into your Eyes of Death and I cringe at the sight
I look into your Eyes of Death and I am no longer alive
I looked into your Eyes of Death
And I died again, before I could run from them
For I cannot stand to be around you to this very day again
I looked into your eyes
Your Eyes…of Death

Hopeless Romantic
i should've thought twice
but i didn't so when agony was in my heart
it stopped to take a slice
now i'm falling apart.
i guess i am, i guess you could call me
a hopeless romantic
love isdragging me down, baby
and my heart is in panic.
i thought i could trust her
but damn, i was wrong
well i can do better
so long.
pain followed close behind
as i approached love's light
love is blind
but it's not out of sight.
i tried to find you
while i thought i had healed
because i thought i loved you
but the truth had been revealed.
you don't return the love
but now my heart is no longer frantic
i suppose i'll have to look elsewhere for love
i suppose i'm a hopeless romantic.

No No They Don't
No one can express concern,
To those who only associate themselves...
With disrespect.
No love can be shared,
With someone who perceives...
A weakness is there.
Expectations are not too high...
When low self esteem,
Is threatened by achieving mediocrity.
'You can 'trip' if you want to!
By showing fools you can do backflips!
To prove that's what you can do.
And expect them to be awed by it!
You can even scoop them fresh ice cream,
To soothe their 'mooding' too!
With lips dripping from an oozing positivity...
You believe will impress.
With an attention that captures,
To arrest an understanding...
You 'then' can address.
But people like these,
Don't give a damn...
About their own mamas.
You can 'trip' if you want to!
By showing fools you can do backflips!
To prove that's what you can do.
And expect them to be awed by it!
But people like these,
Don't give a damn...
About their own mamas.
No no they don't,
Give a damn about their mamas.
Oh no they don't,
Give a damn about their mamas.
No no they don't,
Give a damn about their mamas.'

Nothing To Prove
Fly off the handle once again and now its too late
I hear the door slam shut youve gone and now its so late
I can still feel the sting your hand across my face
Again the last thing that I wanted was to hurt you
(chorus)
Still Im sitting alone again
I feel Im riding the same thing again
And if I want to I can just shut up
Now I know that Ive got
Nothing to prove to you
Nothing to prove to you
Nothing to prove to you
Nothing to prove to you
And still Im fighting cuz theres
Something to prove to
I hear your car drive in the lot its 3 this morning
I dont know how to feel or what to say or should I ask
Where have you been what could I do youre drunk Im sorry
Then we lay down I feel so numb I wish youd kill me
Fly off the handle once again and now its too late
I hear the door slam shut youve gone and now its so late
I can still feel the sting your hand across my face
Again the last thing that I wanted was to hurt you

Chatterbox
Many say they can deliver,
But only few can receive.
Lips flapping nonstop...
Don't believe!
Ears may be wide open,
But the brain is shut closed.
Ignorance exposed...
Is there to show!
People think they get their blessings,
By listening to a preacher.
Fidgeting and sitting,
While nothing's sinking in.
Schools may hire teachers,
To give lessons to the kids.
But nobody cares,
What's in these quick heads of kids.
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
And 'this' is apparent.
Absent parents on the scene,
Pretending caring done is...their 'thing'.
With chatterbox nonstop...
As if a corn popping machine.
And that caring's not there,
Anywhere to be seen.
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
Chatterbox!
'I do.'
Chatterbox!
'Me too.'
Chatterbox!
'We do...
And, so do you! '
Chatterbox!
'I do.'
Chatterbox!
'Me too.'
Chatterbox!
'We do...
And, so do you! '

A Window Of Time 2
I looked
out of the window of time
where I once saw my mothers eyes
To my surprise
there she was again
She put her hand to the glass
She said put your hand to mine
I couldn't understand
how this could be
Then I realised
I was back as a child
She said son
your going to meet someone
She's going to change your life
She's going to have your child
Just like a lily flower
She's going to make you smile
Now as a man
I sometimes look out of the window and smile
I tell my daughter lily
of the time I saw a ghost
that looked just like her nan

Romeo & The Lonely Girl
Romeo and the lonely girl
They seemed to hit it off
Till romeo told the lonely girl
I must take my leave, my love
It was these few words I overheard
And thought, I should move in
But before I could
The lonely girl had fallen in love again
Oh poor romeo
Sitting out on his own-ee-o
Oh poor romeo
Romeo he had it rough
The guy youd like to burn
But everything that romeo had
You can bet it was well earned
For all his good looks there were scars that he took
And a lesson to be learned
Never judge lovers by a good looking covers
The story might be spurned
Oh poor romeo
Sitting out on his own-ee-o
Oh poor romeo
Romeo he like to put it around
He was everybodys friend
But in the end even romeo found
On no one could he depend
For all his charms in someone elses arms
Lonely girl safely lay
When the train pulled in it had to leave again
And romeo pulled away
Oh poor romeo
Sitting all on his own-ee-o
Oh poor romeo

Are You Jealous?
Waking up in the morning,
Getting ready for the day,
You wish you were me.
Listening to his soft voice,
Telling you Baby I don’t hate you,
Don’t you? You do, I know it’s true.
Don’t you lie to me.
You wish it was you he was calling,
Just to say hi.
But it’s my number he is dialing,
Every night,
Yet, you wish it was yours.
Only my man can drive a woman that crazy,
Without even trying.
This is one of the many reasons,
You can’t stand to talk to me,
When he’s writing letters of love,
Do your eyes water with tears of jealousy?
Hey we have something in common mine water too.
Of knowing you still want him but guess what I have him,
I have him for you,
I have him wrapped around my little finger!
So go head be flirtatious with my man,
Tell Saint he is the best,
I don’t care,
Because at the end of the day,
He is still mine.
You’ll still be wishing he was yours.
This will still put a smile on my face and,
Tears in your eyes.
Now tell me are you jealous?

Just loving you has left the world behind
I wish i knew how love could be so blind
Now all these thing i never can let go
Can't let go
I'd give you my heart and soul( i'd give you my heart and soul)
If that's what it takes to prove myself to you
I under stand my life has lost control
What would i do without your love to hold
Nobody knows how much i've come alive
All that i have to give i give to you from deep inside
I'd give you my heart and soul (i'd give you my heart and soul)
If that's what it take to prove myself to you

I Can See Nobody
I walk the lonely streets; I watch the people passing by.
I used to smile and say hello. Guess I was just a happy guy.
Then you happened, girl, this feeling that posessses me.
I just can't move myself. I guess it all just had to be.
I can't see nobody...no, I can't see nobody.
Mine eyes can only look at you...you.
I used to have a brain; I used to think of many things.
I watched the falling rain and listened to the sweet birds sing.
Don't ask me why, little girl. I love you and that's all I can say.
You're ev'ry ,ev'ry breath I take. You are my nights; my night and day.
I can't see nobody...no, I can't see nobody.
Mine eyes can only look at you...you.
Every single word you hear...is coming from this heart of mine.
I never felt like this before...a love like yours so young and fine.
And now as I try to forget you...it doesn't work out any way.
I loved you such a long time ago...but in my eyes you'll always be.
Every single word you hear...is coming from this heart of mine.
I loved you such a long time ago...don't know why...
And I don't know why...baby...
I can't see nobody...no, I can't see nobody.
Mine eyes can only look at you...you.
I can't see nobody...no, I can't see nobody.
Mine eyes can only look at you...you
