What an Age

What an Age
By: Adam M. Snow

What an age, to be young and full of life,
to live free with love and no strife.
To dream a land of pure imagination,
soaring on the wings of inspiration.

What an age, to feel joy and bliss,
and be greeted by butterfly kiss.
To see the world in a whole new way,
and live a life of peace everyday.

What an age, to dance and sing,
and pick flowers in the newborn spring.
To laugh and smile with a sparkle in your eye,
and lay on the grass and watch the clouds go by,
and let all your dreams ponder,
of the hereafter and going yonder.

What an age, to be fragile and strong,
and hear Mother Nature's song.
Peace is yours to hold and give away,
and view the world with hope today.

Day Dreamer

Day Dreamer
By: Adam M. Snow

If dreams would end with life of all life,
would our dreams still suffer with strife?
Would the day dreamer still dream,
or is it all that it may seem?
Dreaming in a night, or in a day,
dreaming as it's all flown away.

Living a life as it use to be,
like branches of stars we see.
Is this but a dream within a dream,
to grasp the glistening moonlight beam?
From dawn to dusk, dusk to dawn,
dreaming of that day that is gone.

That day to which all dreams died,
with all fears and hope we feel inside.
Dreams that died will be born once more.
dreams freed beyond the open door.
If dreams live within all life,
will it one day be free of all strife?

To be in the vastness of one's dream,
and lit the way with a sparkle gleam.
To be with peace and fear surround,
to be the lost now is found.
If dreams would end with life of all life,
would our dreams still suffer with strife?

I Am But A Small Voice

(r. whittaker/d. batnag)
Akoy munting tinig
May munting pangarap
Samyo ng bulaklak
Sa hanging malinis
May ngiti sa araw
At kung umuulan
Makapagtampisaw
Malayang daigdig
Ng kawalang malay
I am but a small voice
I am but a small dream
The fragrance of a flowr
In the unpolluted air
I am but a small voice
I am but a small dream
To smile upon the sun
Be free to dance and sing
Be free to sing my song to evryone
Chorus:
Come young citizens of the world
We are one, we are one
Come young citizens of the world
We are one, we are one
We have one hope
We have one dream
And with one voice
We sing...
Coda:
Peace, prosperity
And love for all mankind
Peace, prosperity
And love for all mankind
(instrumental)
I am but a small voice
I am but a small dream
To smile upon the sun
Be free to dance and sing
Be free to sing my song to evryone
Come young citizens of the world
We are one, we are one
Come young citizens of the world
We are one, we are one
We have one hope
We have one dream
And with one voice
We sing, we sing
Peace, prosperity
And love for all mankind
Peace, prosperity
And love for all mankind

If I Had The World To Give

If I had the world to give, Id give it to you
Long as you live, would you let it fall, or hold it all in your arms?
If I had a song to sing, Id sing it to you
As long as you live, lullaby or maybe a plain serenade
Wouldnt you laugh, dance, and cry or be afraid at the change you made
I may not have the world to give to you
But maybe I have a tune or two
Only if you let me be your world
Could I ever give this world to you
But I will give what love I have to give,
I will give what love I have to give,
I will give what love I have to give, long as I live.
If I had a star to give, Id give it to you
Long as you live, would you have the time
To watch it shine, watch it shine
Or ask for the moon and heaven too? Id give it to you.
Well maybe Ive got no star to spare, or anything fine or even rare,
Only if you let me be your world, could I ever give this world to you.
Could I ever give this world to you.

Id Like To Teach The World To Sing

(r. cook/r. greenway/b. backer/b. davis)
Id like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow-white turtle doves
Chorus:
Id like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
Id like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company
(thats the song I hear)
Id like to see the world for once
(let the world sing today)
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
For peace throughout the land
Thats the song I hear
(thats the song I hear)
Let the world sing today
(let the whole wide world keep singing)
A song of peace that echoes on
And never goes away
(repeat 1st stanza and chorus)
Put your hand in my hand
Lets begin today
Put your hand in my hand
Help me find a way
(repeat chorus til fade)

I Feel That I am Free

To me the sky looks bluer,
And the green grass greener still,
And earth's flowers seem more lovely
As they bloom on heath and hill.
There's a beauty breathing round me
Like a newborn Eden now,
And forgotten are the furrows
Grief has graven on my brow.
There is gladness in the sunshine,
As its gold light gilds the trees,
And I hear a voice of music
Singing to me in the breeze.
There is in my heart a lightness
That seemeth not of me,
For today I've burst from bondage,
And I feel that I am free.

Free in the golden sunshine,
Free in the fresh pure air,
Where the flowers of the forest
In their wild homes flourish fair.
Free to thought to give expression,
To sing, to dance, and show
That the stern world has not crushed me
With its weary weight of woe.
Are the years of care and sorrow
But a dark dream of the past,
Or this new life but a vision
That is all too bright to last?
How exaltingly my spirit
Flashes forth its newborn glee,
As amid rejoicing nature
I can feel that I am free.

I have neither friend nor loved one
To welcome me, nor home;
And lonely through the wide world
As a stranger I must roam;
I know not where tomorrow
To procure my daily bread,
And tonight the waving branches
Must canopy my head.
But if I had a palace,
If of friends a gladsome throng,
If some darling one were near me
To cheer with love and song,
If I'd riches which were boundless,
No more joyous could I be
Than what I am, exulting
In the thought that I am free.

Free in the bright glad sunshine,
Free in the fresh pure air,
My heart with gladness throbbing,
And on my brow no care.
There's the blue sky all above me -
Not a prison roof between -
And at my feet the flowers
Nestle in the verdure green.

Hark! I hear the breezes singing -
'Lift thy heart to God on high,
Who hath brought theee back from sorrow
To this world of hope and joy.'
And the little nodding flowers
In a chorus sing to me -
'If God from sin shall free thee,
Then thou shalt indeed be free!'

In Words Unspoken

In the silence of the morning,
before the world has woken
I sit and dream my dreams
in words unspoken.
I sit and ponder the faces of life
in the nightmares of reality,
the programmes that hold us spellbound
as they appear on our TV screens
while all the world screams out with fright.
I dream my dreams in private
as their images dance inside my head,
the beauty and the wonder
upon each life befalls.
The miracles that we witness
in each day of our lives
as we walk across the threshold
to greet each new passing day.
From the birth of a new born baby
to someone’s life that has been saved.
The miracle of Mother Nature
as she wakes every flower in the morn
to the butterfly that passes our window
on delicate translucent wings.
I dream my dreams in silence
in the peace that they endorse;
hoping all the time
the world will follow their course.
I dream my dreams in the morning
before anyone is awake
while the darkness of the night
still covers the sky
before the sun has awoken
and from behind, the eastern horizon
lifts up its sleepy head.
This is the time
in the silence of the morning,
before the world has woken
I sit and dream my dreams
in words unspoken.

By All Means

By All Means
By: Adam M. Snow

By all means, I need to ponder,
of my life going yonder.
But though I still long for truth,
I long for those who's not uncouth.
By all means, I carried out to wonder,
when flesh and spirit sunder.

But in a world such as this,
dost Thou be amiss?
But I seek what Thou has in stored;
that statement of the Lord.
By all means, I wonder to ponder,
of my life going yonder.

Misery held me 'gainst my woes,
as if my life cease to flow.
But if it be the answer of my eternal quest,
nor any Death-but lest;
I accept the truth from Thee,
to where the Strong assure me.

I wage my life upon thy altar,
ponder here a time of falter;
I live to serve only Thee.
We think that we must be-
gods upon this earth.

Why Do Children Want To Grow

Why do Children
of now adays
Want to grow so fast
to look grown up
to think grown up
But still be a child at heart
I would live my childhood
OVER again just to be a child
to have pure heart
Pure minds, pure dreams
Instead of a childhood of distain
To play without a care
And see the magic of Mother Nature
And use imagination
To dance on rainbows
And white fluffy clouds
To play hide and seek
In the candy land of our dreams
To ride on unicorns
And sprinkle fair dust
To take a flight in
A midsummer dream
Why would children of today
Pass all this by
Just to be grown up
In a world like ours
Why lose the innocence
Of childhood sweet dreams
Just to rush into
The uncertainty of life
Why bypass your childhood
Just to be an adult of today
only to yearn the loss
of you childhood of yesterday

Today's the Day

Perhaps today's the day that I break free
Free from the hustle that comes each day
Free from distractions that lead me astray
Perhaps I can be what I'm made to be

Perhaps today's the day I'll choose to move
Move beyond the past into tomorrow
Move with purpose in the way I should go
Perhaps I'll believe I've nothing to prove

Perhaps today's the day I'll find my peace
Peace like a stream flowing fresh to my soul
Peace that brings new meaning and makes me whole
Perhaps that assurance will never cease

Perhaps today's the day I'll hear Your voice
So clearly that my heart will have no choice

If today's the day I'm finally free
May I be free to run and tell the world
With Your banner of love proudly unfurled
For today's the day You have set me free

If today's the day I finally move
May I move boldly toward holy life
Allowing You to guide me through the strife
As I dance for joy for You've made me move

And, if today's the day I find Your peace
May I promote that peace to all I meet
Living in peace and loving those I greet
As I gratefully give others Your peace

If today's the day I will hear Your voice
May I know it and may my heart rejoice

Live

A million stars light
This beautiful night
This is not a night to die
Let me sing and dance
Beneath the sky
I have such love to give...to give
I want a chance to live

Live
For the one I love
Love
As no one has loved
Give
Asking nothing in return

Free free to find my way
Free to have my say
Free to see the day

Live like I used to be
Like wild but free
For the life in me

Live
For the one I love
Love
As no one has loved
Give
Asking nothing in return

This world tears us apart
We're still together in my heart
I want the world to hear my cry
Even if I have to die
Love will not die
Love will change the world

Live
For the one I love
Love
As no one has loved
Give
Asking nothing in return

And love until love wears (?) me away
I'll die and I know my love will stay
And I'll know I know my love will stay

Art For Freedom!

Music and dance give relaxation and relief!
Wind and river dance and go forever free;
If we also dance to music we too feel free!
Painting, sculpture, poetry and music make us
Fresh and new inducing forgetfulness of the past!

Lyrical poetry makes us sing and dance to be free;
Its new version is pop song we hear everywhere!
Musicians, singers and dancers are best entertainers
Moving the world by their melodious tune memorable;
Oscar and Grammy awards are their worthy honours!

Lovers of freedom, birds sing and do all jobs joyously
From the morning till evening nonstop everyday ever!
Combining song and dance or work and dance they live
Making people learn value of music and dance in life;
This is the way to be happy and gay to live in freedom!

The Birth of Spring

The Birth of Spring
By: Adam M. Snow

A birth of Spring brings flowers bloom,
A beauty that reigns from nature's womb;
Bringing forth a new day of yore;
A beauty that reigns forevermore.
Heaving the life of nature to nature,
As the world within matures.

The flowers blooms ever so gracefully,
A Spring sunshine O' so blissfully.
The life of Spring so frail and gentle,
Like a rose or that of lentil.

It is evermore so sweet to wonder,
The scent of Spring would sunder.
And by the night, the stars glisten be,
Spring at it's glory, a song decrees.

A melody so sweet and peaceful to be heard;
The calming voice of nature's word,
That glistens the wind and flowers alike,
Flowing 'gainst the wind like a shrike.

She dance with a melody,
Like a wild felidae;
The petals of roses flows the wind.
I stand here in awe of nature's friend.

Tell Me Child

Little one
Sweet child
Play me a song
Let it fill me up
Let it bring me joy
Tell me how to sing along
Tell me how to dance

Tiny one
Lovely child
Give me a game
Let it make me laugh
Let it give me hope
Tell me how to be young
Tell me how to live

Small one
Good child
Give me a day
Let me have a life like yours
Let me follow in your ways
Tell me how to dream
Tell me how to love
Because dear child
In this big bad world
It’s so easy to forget

I cry...sometimes

Sometimes I cry
A cry so bitter and sweet
Sometimes I hide
I hide to shut out the world
Sometimes I smile
A smile to get through the pain
Sometimes I laugh
I laugh for all the world to see
Sometimes I dance
I dance just to let go
Sometimes I sing
A song just for you and me
Sometimes I see
A world so cruel and brute
Sometimes I sense
A feeling oh so pure and immense
Sometimes I hear
Violance and laughter together as one
Sometimes I fear
One you'll be gone
But do you really know how I feel? ?
Sometimes I feel as though the world stops
and spins madly on
Sometimes I feel like letting everything drop
And run toward you

Be Free With Your Love

Be free with your love
Free with your love
Be free with your love
Free with your love
Two young babes in a foreign land
Draw no milk from the dusty sand
Close heir eyes from the night so cold
Feel the love in their mothers hold
Two old men on their different shores
Stretch the world with their tug of war
Tension pulls on a tightening cord
Spread your love over mans discord
Lifes your reward
So sing it to your lord
Be free with your love
Free with your love
Be free with your love
Free with your love
Science stands on threshold of life
Man could be cut by a blow of its knife
Time to live by a new resolution
In the spirit of loves evolution
Two young girls shining in the sun
Feel your pain but they dance for everyone
Beauty lives in their innocent glow
Things so dear should be free to let grow
So let your heart flow
And sing it to your soul
Be free with your love
Free with your love
Now baby
Be free wih your love
Free with your love
Two young girls shining in the sun
Feel your pain but they dance for everyone
Be free with your love

Ecstasy

Slaving hard each day and night
To bring the world it's dark and light
And aura of refulgence divine
You make the sun wish it could shine

Nature has no chore but this
To watch you bring the world its bliss
For when you're sad and begin to cry
Clouds moisten and open the sky

But when you laugh, bells will ring
Peace arrives and flowers spring
You know just how to make me smile
To me, you make each day worthwhile

Voice of my Soul

I want to hear the silence
that brings peace on my mind,
I want to hear the songs
that play deeply in my soul
I want to walk on rainbow
and holds the hope of dreams
I want to hear the pouring water
that shades my tears away,
I want to hold the oceans
and feels I owned the world.
I want to stare the sunset
that brings for another day
I want to feel the morning sunrise
that shows the beauty of life
I want to ride on clouds
that lift my spirit free
I want to hear the wave from shore
that brings joy in my heart
I want to love and be loved,
I want to live for life....

Love Poem For A Friend

All the joy that was in your eyes.
Has been replaced by sorrow.
If you can’t live life for today.
I worry for your tomorrow.

The rear view mirror is where you stare.
Not on the road ahead.
You don’t live a life of the living.
You live a life of the dead.

For the past is gone and won’t return.
Today is all you’ve got.
You seek the things you do not have.
But you really have a lot.

There are 3 boys who are crazy about you.
You truly are our world.
We’d sacrifice everything we are for you.
You are our special girl.

Life’s got you down, but you’re not beat.
You’re stronger than you think.
So take our love, our gift to you.
So that your heart won’t shrink.

When you fall, I’ll pick you up.
I’ll carry you through this life.
I’ll take your pain and sorrow.
And all your ills and strife.

When you’re ready to walk again.
I’ll help you walk and hold your hand.
You carried me when I fell down.
Until I was strong enough to stand.

So now my love, my time has come.
To stand tall for my best friend.
All the pain I know I’ll feel from you.
Will be worth it in the end.

Peace Around The World

MY DREAM CAME TRUE,
PEACE HAS ARRIVE,
HARMONY IN THE AIR,
THE WARS ARE DONE,
NOBODY WON,
IN MY DREAM, IN MY DREAM
OUR SONGS GOT HEARD,
OUR SIGNS GOT READ
THE MARCHES MADE IT THROUGH
TO THE PRESIDENT
NOTHING HE COULD DO
ACCEPT JOIN TO,
IN MY DREAM, IN MY DREAM
THE SEA SHELLS SING
AND IF YOU LISTEN CLOSE ENOUGH
YOU CAN HEAR THEM SING
GIVE PEACE A CHANCE
WHILE THE STAR FISHES DANCE
BECAUSE THE WORLD IS ONE
IN THERE OWN SWEET ROMANCE
IN MY DREAM, IN MY DREAM
LISTEN TO THE BANDS
AND READ THERE BANNERS,
HOLD SOME ONE HANDS
HELP PULL THE RIBBON ACROSS
THIS GREAT LAND
IN MY DREAM, IN MY DREAM
THE FATHERS AND THE PREACHES,
SISTERS AND THE POPE,
PROUD THERE PRAYERS
GOT ANSWER AND THERE FAITH
STAY BY THERE SIDE
ALONG WITH THERE WISHES
THAT NEVER LEFT THERE SIDE,
IN MY DREAM, IN MY DREAM,
THE POPE SPEAKS TO MILLLIONS
OF HIS FOLLOWERS
AND TO THE BILLIONS OTHERS
AROUND THE WORLD
BLOOD ONLY FLOWS IN THE INSIDE,
NOT ON THE OUTSIDE
AND FLOWERS GROW AT OUR SIDE,
AND GUNS ARE BURY WAY DOWN
UNDERNEATH THE GROUND,
IN MY DREAM PEACE IS AROUND THE WORLD,

May Bring You

Remember to sing at the top of your lungs
The angels will hear you voice and summon your soul back to heaven
The angels cry as the body dies aimlessly and shamelessly in a desolate world
Treasure each wakened moment for you have been given the gift of life

Give thanks for today you rise with the morning sun.
May the sun kiss your beautiful smile
May your rosy cheeks glisten for every day you draw breath is seen as good day
You have been blessed with life so live it

May joy enter into your world each and everyday
May you overcome all obstacles in your way
May you always look at the bright side for it always can be worst
Life is like a party where you can choose to sit it out or dance

Remember a wise man once said that yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift
That is why we call it the present
Live today for tomorrow is always one day away
