Voice Of The Dead Lover.
I know you will never understand.
Oh how I wish you would.
Oh how I wish I could.
Reaching you from beyond my grave.
An angel has come to save.
Are thou truly so brave?
Risking it all in the name of love.
Just because of something I never was.
A creature of conformity.
A lie that burns the eyes.
A tear dropp that will never fall.
No matter how hard I try.
If only to die delivering the ultimate message.
My thoughts are always with you.
It is getting cold.
I can no longer see.
You will always be a part of me.
Call it destiny, but to the next world I must go.
Becoming an empty vessel on a bed.
This is the voice of the soon to be dead.

Following The Sickness
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
Fighting our own shadows, fooled by our enemies.
They are the ones you just can't see.
The unaccepted theory is rejected yet again.
But still the chorus plays.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
To whom it may concern.
A poetic letter, dressed in feathers.
Does it make it any prettier?
A distraction from the purpose.
Delivering the simplest of messages.
And still they are not heard.
Oh no they are never heard.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
And man is yet to learn.
And man is yet to learn.
Foolish know it alls.
A change in circumstances will cause a sudden fall.
A broken bone, or ego?
A laceration or a severed artery?
Is it serious or superficial?
An inflamation that just won't go down.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
And it has brought me here.
A million passersby's.
An angelic looking sky.
Prying the heavens for just one peek.
I wonder if it has what I seek.
A cure
A cure
For this world.
Follow the sickness.
As the bodies dropp the fire burns.
And man is yet to learn.
If you are ever lost just follow the sickness.
Its everywhere.
Just go from there.

My Tomb
The four walls around me,
The bed in which I lay.
A lock on my door,
Keeps everyone away.
The outside world has nothing,
Not a single thing for me.
For I lost the angel of my life,
An angel as beautiful as she.
I lay within these four walls,
Counting the time go by.
The day quickly comes to an end,
And then I close my eyes.
It is then I dream of her,
As I lie here in my room.
In my dream I leave from here,
This place I call my tomb.
No more walls around me,
No more bed in which I lay.
I have broken from the locks,
That kept me here to decay.
In my dream I am with her,
No longer am I sad.
For in my dream she never leaves,
Destroying everything we had.
In my dream we are happy,
Our love will only grow.
Reaching to the Heavenly skies,
Leaving the world below.
In my dream I'm full of life,
No longer live in gloom.
My angel has pulled me from the trap,
Of this place I call my tomb.
I want to stay in this dream,
For when I am asleep.
No longer do I miss her,
No longer do I weep.
I want to stay in this dream,
I never want to wake.
For when I'm here with my angel,
No longer do I ache.
I want to stay in this dream,
Don't ever pull me out.
I want to stay here forever,
For here there is no doubt.
Eventually my eyes will open,
I see the walls of my room.
Once again I'm locked up,
As I lie here in my tomb.

A Man's Requirements
I
Love me Sweet, with all thou art,
Feeling, thinking, seeing;
Love me in the lightest part,
Love me in full being.
II
Love me with thine open youth
In its frank surrender;
With the vowing of thy mouth,
With its silence tender.
III
Love me with thine azure eyes,
Made for earnest grantings;
Taking colour from the skies,
Can Heaven's truth be wanting?
IV
Love me with their lids, that fall
Snow-like at first meeting;
Love me with thine heart, that all
Neighbours then see beating.
V
Love me with thine hand stretched out
Freely -- open-minded:
Love me with thy loitering foot, --
Hearing one behind it.
VI
Love me with thy voice, that turns
Sudden faint above me;
Love me with thy blush that burns
When I murmur 'Love me!'
VII
Love me with thy thinking soul,
Break it to love-sighing;
Love me with thy thoughts that roll
On through living -- dying.
VIII
Love me in thy gorgeous airs,
When the world has crowned thee;
Love me, kneeling at thy prayers,
With the angels round thee.
IX
Love me pure, as muses do,
Up the woodlands shady:
Love me gaily, fast and true,
As a winsome lady.
X
Through all hopes that keep us brave,
Farther off or nigher,
Love me for the house and grave,
And for something higher.
XI
Thus, if thou wilt prove me, Dear,
Woman's love no fable,
I will love thee -- half a year --
As a man is able.

Taking On The Arch Angel, Dark Angel, The Exiled Angel(Orginal Now Viewable)
I say to the arch angel,
I say to dark angel,
I say to the exiled angel,
I falter not, you can try all you want.
Still I shall sing my silhouette.
Of that which makes me love, me care,
I will never fall into despair.
No matter the poison in the air.
Use the confused as weapons to
attack my unwillingness to surrender.
I defy you in every way.
Even when I worn out my stay.
I will not lash out, I will sit back and take it.
For my sins can be forgiven.
My prejudice can not.
So I will not say what could be said with no regret.
So I say arch angel, I say dark angel,
I say exiled angel I falter not, no matter
what you got hanging over my head,
my soul is not dead,
my ultimate pledge has not been broken.
So come on hit me from every direction.
Its only my life at risk.
No one else, shall be punished for my mistakes.
Yes they have caused great heart break.
But in the end its for the better.
I shall do this alone in the cold and dark.
Still my insides burn.
On fire till the day I die.
So i say to the arch angel,
i say to the dark angel,
i say to the exiled angel.
I falter not, never ask why,
and look to the sky.
For my purpose is unknown
till he decides it should be shown.
Blind faith, is something you cant touch or taste.
Its deep with in under the skin.
Locked within, waiting to be released like a genetic disease.
It doesn't try to please.
It has but only one need, to believe, in that which cant be seen.
So I say to the arch angel,
i say to the dark angel,
i say to the exiled angel,
i falter not, not matter the cost.

Today... 'Angel
O great Angel and deliverer coming from heaven
The One to whom God's great Name as been given.
Protecting us from all harm you guide the way
Sent ahead to lead as we follow You and obey.
Wondrous Angel and messenger from heaven come
bringing God's message and leading us home.
Mighty One doing His bidding and showing His love
Angel of reconciliation bringing grace from above.
For God shows His mercy in forgiving our rebellion
His message to the world of love and reconciliation.
He sent His beloved Son into the world to save
to set us free from the tyranny of an awful grave.
He came into our world laying His glory aside
This Angel of God outstretched His arms so wide
embraced the world in His love when He died
poured out His life giving blood to bring us inside.
(see also the additional information in the Poet's notes box)
Cleburne
Another ray of light hath fled, another Southern brave
Hath fallen in his country's cause and found a laureled grave-
Hath fallen, but his deathless name shall live when stars shall set,
For, noble Cleburne, thou art one this world will ne'er forget.
'Tis true, thy warm heart beats no more, that on thy noble head
Azrael placed his icy hand, and thou art with the dead;
The glancing of thine eyes are dim; no more will they be bright
Until they ope in Paradise, with clearer, heavenlier light.
No battle news disturbs thy rest upon the sun-bright shore,
No clarion voice awakens thee on earth to wrestle more,
No tramping steed, no wary foe bids thee awake, arise,
For thou art in the angel world, beyond the starry skies.
Brave Cleburne, dream in thy low bed, with pulseless deadened heart;
Calm, calm and sweet, O warrior rest! thou well hast borne thy part,
And now a glory wreath for thee the angels singing twine,
A glory wreath, not of the earth, but made by hands divine.
A long farewell-we give thee up, with all thy bright reknown,
A chieftain here on earth is lost, in heaven an angel found.
Above thy grave a wail is heard-a nation mourns her dead;
A nobler for the South ne'er died, a braver never bled.
A last farewell-how can we speak the bitter word farewell!
The anguish of our bleeding hearts vain words may never tell.
Sleep on, sleep on, to God we give our chieftain in his might;
And weeping, feel he lives on high, where comes no sorrow's night.

Don't You Realize
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Verse 1:
Baby don't tell me we'll stay friends
Love never gets a second chance
Split hearts never mend
Don't call again
Baby don't send me "come back"-mails
I'm so fed up with fairy tales
The message is clear
Keep outta here...
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Verse 2:
Baby don't sell me dreams again
Cos I'm so sick of all of them
I've learned the hard way
They won't come true
Baby don't say you've changed your mind
Cos I've left everything behind
That made me love you
Baby I'm through
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Tell me why you tried to cheat
Now you're in a dead end street
Baby you can never beat
You fate - tonight
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Chorus:
Don't you realize
Don't you understand
It's the final cut
It's the bitter end
Don't you realize
We have reached the edge
Don't you see the cold
In my eyes
Don't you realize
Oh-oh-oh-oh

Desire
Thou, who dost dwell alone;
Thou, who dost know thine own;
Thou, to whom all are known,
From the cradle to the grave,--
Save, O, save!
From the world's temptations;
From tribulations;
From that fierce anguish
Wherein we languish;
From that torpor deep
Wherein we lie asleep,
Heavy as death, cold as the grave,--
Save, O, save!
When the soul, growing clearer,
Sees God no nearer;
When the soul, mounting higher,
To God comes no nigher;
But the arch-fiend Pride
Mounts at her side,
Foiling her high emprize,
Sealing her eagle eyes,
And, when she fain would soar,
Make idols to adore;
Changing the pure emotion
Of her high devotion,
To a skin-deep sense
Of her own eloquence;
Strong to deceive, strong to enslave,--
Save, O, save!
From the ingrained fashion
Of this earthly nature
That mars thy creature;
From grief, that is but passion;
From mirth, that is but feigning;
From tears, that bring no healing;
From wild and weak complaining;--
Thine old strength revealing,
Save, O, save!
From doubt, where all is doable,
Where wise men are not strong;
Where comfort turns to trouble;
Where just men suffer wrong;
Where sorrow treads on joy;
Where sweet things soonest cloy;
Where faiths are built on dust;
Where love is half mistrust,
Hungry, and barren, and sharp as the sea;
O, set us free!
O, let the false dream fly
Where our sick souls do lie,
Tossing continually.
O, where thy voice doth come,
Let all doubts be dumb;
Let all words be mild;
All strife be reconciled;
All pains beguiled.
Light brings no blindness;
Love no unkindness;
Knowledge no ruin;
Fear no undoing,
From the cradle to the grave,--
Save, O, save!

Tear Drops Of An Angel
the parts in the () are talking...its a song
(Hello,
Wait what,
Slow down,
I cannot understand you,
Why are you crying?)
I guess it was better you found out now,
I could not keep on living this lie,
You were the first girl.
Stop crying, dear,
Your tear drops are flying, dear,
They are drying, dear,
You are dieing, dear.
Tear drops of an angel,
The sweetest cry I can hear,
Stop your crying now dear,
For my heart, you are shattering.
Tear drops of an angel,
The darkest curse of my heart,
Crimson tears fall from your eyes,
Breaking me with each drop.
Tear drops of an angel…
Tear drops of an angel…
Tear drops of an angel…
I am sorry I cheated, dear,
It was a weakness, dear,
It was my fault, dear,
A sin of the flesh, dear.
Tear drops of an angel,
The sweetest cry I can hear,
Stop your crying now, dear,
For my heart, you are shattering.
Tear drops of an angel,
The darkest curse of my heart,
Crimson tears fall from your eyes,
Breaking me with each drop.
Tear drops of an angel…
Tear drops of an angel…
Tear drops of an angel…

Walters Walk
(page/plant)
Ooh...know I feel so strange looking out the door
Oooh...tryin hard to change but cant let go
Oooh...cryin tears of pain and more and more
Oooh...everyday is the same as the one before
Im walkin the floor over you
Im walkin the floor
Every heart that breaks is a heart thats cold
To the hand that takes your dreamless soul
Ooh...is it long to wait, is it much to pay?
Oooh...sometimes its hard waiting for the day.
You know its hard. I said its hard
You know its true. I said its hard
You know its hard. you know its true
Every tear that falls is a smile thats lost
When you hear the call can you count the cost?
As you stand alone do you wonder how?
Can you step aside, does it matter now?
Every love thats changed ? -? -? -? -? -?
In the eye of the night ? -? -? -
In the day everything ? -? -? -?
She was smilin a tear at her waters fall ? ?
You know its true. you know its true now
Im walkin the floor over you
Im walkin the floor
Every tear that falls is a smile thats lost
When you hear the call can you count the cost?
As you stand alone do you wonder how?
Can you step aside, does it matter now?
Does it matter now? (repeat)

You mustn't catch an angel
You mustn't catch an angel,
No matter how much you try,
I know you want to be protected,
But theres already one alive.
We mustn't catch an angel,
NO matter how much we cry,
We know we don't like being lonely,
But theres and angel by our-side.
I know you want to be loved,
I know you want faith,
Theres someone by our-side,
Even if were lonely or with our friends,
Theres always someone who will love us til the end.
We have an angel,
We also have a simple destiny,
A destiny to have the one they love.
Your angel is within us and our friends,
Our angel is also in God's protection,
But an angel is an angel no matter how small.
So you mustn't catch an angel,
No matter how much it is important,
Becauseyour angel is around you.
I would never catch an angel,
Even if I tried,
My angels are around me,
And I didn't have to try.
Angels are among us,
All you have to do is look,
The angel here,
Are the angels of you and me,
We are an angel to someone,
Just believe its true,
And you will see.

Cold As Ice
I dont think you understand
Oh the rhythm of my heart
Theres a strong line to mind and soul
I feel it tearing apart
Ive been searching for new words
Gonna make you understand in a different way
When I told you Id hang on forever
I threw my choice away
And its cold as ice
I cant let go
Its cold as ice
Baby but I need your love
And I wish I could have been the first one
Oh to walk out the door
The more I find myself to blame
The less there is to come back for
You wish you could have been the last one
To tell me how you really feel
Cause when you closed the door oh deep inside
My heart it still seemed so sincere
And its cold as ice
I cant let go oh
Its cold as ice
Baby but I need your love
Its cold as ice
I cant let go
Its cold as ice
Baby but I need your love
If theres a message to this madness
Well it still seems quite unclear
If I really need to save myself
Why cant I just walk out of here
Theres a message in your eyes
And you make it perfectly plain
Either I leave your heart behind
Or crack beneath this freezing
Freezing freezing freezing rain
Cold as ice
(cold as ice)
I cant let go
(but I cant let go)
Cold as ice
Baby but i
But I need your love
All right
I said Im cold
Cold Im cold
(cold as ice)
Cold Im cold
(baby)
Cold Im cold
(cold as ice darling)
Cold as ice
(cold as ice)
Oh no but I cant let go
(I said Im freezing, freezing)
Oh no no I cant let go
(freezing, freezing, freezing, freezing)
No no Im cold as ice
(whoa whoa baby yeah)
Im cold as ice
But I cant let go
No

Tear Drops Of Joy
Tear dropp of joy when a baby is bron
Tear dropp of joy when your mother and father tell you that they love you
Tear dropp of joy when my boyfriend bring me a dozen of roses
Tear dropp of joy when I see two people holding hands
Tear drops of joy when all the family come over for a sunday dinner

Drops Of Water, Drops Of Thought
Drops of water, Drops of thoughts
When eyes of sky rain
Each dropp has an angel
Carry the dropp somewhere
Each dropp has a special fate
When head of sky birth
Each brainchild has an angel
Carry the dropp to a brain
One dropp to write another on to paint
Each dropp has a special fate
All what we need is just to pray

Written On The Day Of My Aunt's Funeral
Thou too art dead, ---! very kind
Hast thou been to me in my childish days,
Thou best good creature. I have not forgot
How thou didst love thy Charles, when he was yet
A prating school-boy: I have not forgot
The busy joy on that important day,
When, child-like, the poor wanderer was content
To leave the bosom of parental love,
His childhood's play-place, and his early home,
For the rude fosterings of a stranger's hand,
Hard uncouth tasks, and school-boy's scanty fare.
How did thine eye peruse him round and round,
And hardly know him in his yellow coats[1],
Red leathern belt, and gown of russet blue!
Farewell, good aunt!
Go thou, and occupy the same grave-bed
Where the dead mother lies.
Oh my dear mother, oh thou dear dead saint!
Where's now that placid face, where oft hath sat
A mother's smile, to think her son should thrive
In this bad world, when she was dead and gone;
And where a tear hath sat (take shame, O son!)
When that same child has prov'd himself unkind.
One parent yet is left-a wretched thing,
A sad survivor of his buried wife,
A palsy-smitten, childish, old, old man,
A semblance most forlorn of what he was,
A merry cheerful man. A merrier man,
A man more apt to frame matter for mirth,
Mad jokes, and anticks for a Christmas eve;
Making life social, and the laggard time
To move on nimbly, never yet did cheer
The little circle of domestic friends.

Groping.....
the language is barbaric,
do not equate it violence but with something that
we cannot understand
because no matter what we do
open our minds like windows
scrub the floor to start with a clean slate
even take the roof
at its senseless option
the vessel still cannot hold on
to what is given
perhaps the vessel is just too small
or the message is
egyptian
like thai characters or
arabic
we give up
perhaps there is nothing to be understood at all
but something only to be felt
like warm or cold,
or hot potato or melting ice cream in our tongues
yes, do not figure out
because there is nothing to be
figured
it is a jargon, a drool,
a language of feelings,
so miserable and
enigmatic simply because
the hands of thoughts are groping in the darkness
and there is nothing there
except the coldness
and the silence.

Thy Flame Burns and Chills Me Cold
Thy flame burns and chills me cold
Thine youth young yet too old
Thy pain, a pleasure
Thine poverty a treasure
Thy love hath to much hate
Thy ordinary ability is profoundly great
Thy rage with wrath with so much equanimity
Thy honest word is tainted with duplicity
Thou art easy when thou art mad or hard
Thy face so beautiful, although it's scarred
Thy heart is weak, but beats so strong
Thou art always right even when wrong
I do not understand so I understand
I love thee for a mad man loves what he doth not understand

Where Art Thou?
My love where art thou?
Buried in the heart of dead souls grave
In the burdened face, in the sagging brow
Burnt to ashes for evil to deprave—
My love where art thou?
Hidden beneath the voice of beauty
Dangling in the wind like chime
In the sonnets of one's love poetry
Surviving the cruelty of cruel time—
My Love where art thou?
Painted on Christ's prayer his somber plea
In the whine of a my sweet child
Shining bright on the fiery star of the sea
Nourishing the cubs in the earth's natural wild
My love where art thou?
Thou art certainly not in me
With me, my love thou wilt never be
Love everywhere in perfect harmony
Except me, with no love, my life's destiny….

Black Angel
Black Angel
(By Sheila D. Thompson)
ok, ok, I landed on this earth to kill
look at me,
cause once you cross me your fate will be sealed.
People think it's a laughing,
thing it's a joke, next
thing they lay dead before me.
And I think I'll choke.
I lived a hard life.
I know I don't suppose to be a girl,
in this world, this place could
change the kindest creature to
a beast.
I became a cannibal, and I like it I came
here on a quest to feast.
Now I can't stop.
going crazy at day and
sane by night,
I guess that's why I hide in the
darkness from light.
Black Angel (Black Angel)
Black Angel (molded by the world)
Black Angel (and just only
a little girl) Black Angel
(crying for a change) Black Angel
I listen to thunder and lightening,
forget that it's frightening, liking
the sound, watching the people
up from above, knowing there no
love.
I stand alone, I'm on my own,
I am young so I write my
pain in this song.
I know it's hard try being
a little a girl,
raised up fast in a cruel
world.
fate was ever kind to me.
I watched my father
(hurt my mother)
I watched my father
(beat m brother)
I watched my father
(create a son with my sister)
I miss my father(and I love him)
I am so alone-black Angel-
I still hope someday, that
I can learn how to pray.
I still walk so bold
knowing my hart's half cold(repeat)
(oh-Black Angel heart beat
with thunder and rain* Black Angel)
now it's just heartbeat and rain*Black Angel
(the last few words should echo)
