The Nexus Said

The nexus tells us
Wills us
Breaks us
Apart from you
The stars have swollen
The trees whisper
You have failed
Such ambitions
Such premonitions

Since we were children
You have been all I ever known
We got into our fights
Over whats not right

The nexus tells us
Wills us
Breaks us
Apart from you
The stars have swollen
The trees whisper
You have failed
Such ambitions
Such premonitions

You have brought this upon me
Its your own catastrophe
Its your mess
You fix it
Or maybe not
But either way
You lost
What the nexus said will be
Call it karma
Call it destiny
It doesn't change a tragedy
No will
Its over
Its beyond the hopeless endeavor
Its not even close to being clever
Its a shelter being bulldozed down
Its part of the lost and found
So what will be
Will be
I don't need you
You don't need me.
Its just as the nexus said

Sonnet: On Holy Matrimony

When man, woman join in Matrimony,
And take their vow to live their life on earth,
As husband, wife, in Lord’s name, not money:
Blessed are they both and those who brought them forth.

True marriage is when God solemnizes
The union of the opposite sexes,
For bringing forth children without vices,
Thro’ sacred, heterosexual nexus!

When persons of the same sex associate,
It is a sinful union alone;
They may express their love, not procreate-
How can they call it marriage, on their own?

Homosexuality’s sin in eyes of God;
Attracting Almighty God’s awful rod!

Jeane

Jeane
The low-life has lost its appeal
And i'm tired of walking these streets
To a room with its cupboards bare
Jeane
I'm not sure what happiness means
But i look in your eyes
And i know
Oh ...
That it isn't there
Oh, we tried, and we failed
Oh, we tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried
Oh, jeane
There's ice on the sink where we bathe
So how can you call this a home
When you know it's a grave ?
Yet you still have that greedy grace
As you tidy the place
But it will never be clean
Jeane
We tried and we failed
We tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
And we tried
Oh ...
Cash on the nail
It's just a fairytale
Oh ...
And i don't believe in magic anymore
Jeane
But i think you know
I really think you know
Oh ...
Oh yes, i think you know the truth
Jeane
Oh ...
No heavenly choirs
Not for me and not for you
Because i think you know
I really think you know
Oh ...
I think you know the truth
Oh, jeane
We tried, and we failed
We tried, and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried and we failed
We tried

Among the Trees

I wonder lost among the trees
Looking for the one my heart calls for

I wonder lost among the trees
I see your light amongst the dark

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is brighter then the rest

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is out of my reach

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light comes closer

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light is bright like an angel from the sky

I wonder lost among the trees
Your light fades away and leaves me alone

I wonder lost among the trees
Without a hand to guide the way

I wonder lost among the trees
Looking for my guiding light

I wonder lost among the trees
I wonder lost, alone

I wonder afraid of the world
Around me I look for the one

I wonder lost among the trees
I wonder lost and alone forever...................................

The One I'm Waiting For

The way that girl can break a heart: It's like a work of art: And this is the worst part: She knows it
And she's so confident: That she's what everybody wants: But nobody wants: Her to know that
So fall back on all of your premonitions: And just learn to listen: To those that have more wisdom than you: And just stop: Putting so much stock: In all of this stuff: Live your life for those you love
And I'm still waiting for: You to be the one I'm waiting for
The way that girl can turn a head: Well she is such a threat: But don't ever forget: She knows it
And she's got it all: All figured out: And she won't let you doubt: She knows it
I'm still waiting for: You to be the one I'm waiting for
Something tells me that this is going to make sense: Something tells me it's going to take patience
Something tells me that this will all work out in the end

Continuum

My breath rises
to the edge of space
and pauses
at the nexus of perfection,

then falls,
driven by waves of fire,
by strong hands guided
through dust and rain,
through ice, through
the shining
vortex

to my upturned face
where a single dropp dies
and fills me with
the storm's desire.

The world around

The honest men are much denigrated;
The insincere are brought up to the fore;
The nexus is so well integrated,
And works dishonestly at every door.

They want the ones who act deaf, dumb and blind,
And serve a rubber-stamp to their designs;
If I collude, they will to me be kind,
But I'm a Master of symptoms and signs.

Oh what a wretched world, they have it made?
And loot the sick, downtrodden and the poor;
I curse them all; their sins will never fade,
Unless repent they at the Maker's door.
Freedom we got but still free we are not,
Is this our country's poor brethren's sad lot?

Serenade

Luscious Lass in lurk under the dusky evening sky.
Her lustre in the night fall,
Has the hapless Sun ever seen?
He never got the opportunity in his lifetime.
He is only a sad lover and burning in day light.
But the nocturnal song with her magical lute only the night hawks can hear.
If the Sun intrudes into the night,
He will be surprised by seeing the nexus of nightly legacy.
And you see how the Lucifer's hanky-panky?

There Is No Happiness In The Blog

'Where' he said 'is what I am looking for?
'In your eyes' she said.

'Where is what I need' he said.
'In what you heed' she said.

'Where is my Love' he said.
'In the giving of, ' she said.

'Where do I find peace' he said.
'In the community', she said.

'Where is happiness, ' he said
'In truth for more than one' she said.

'Why I am looking for all this? ' he said
'Because you keep looking out there' she said

'All true things' she said 'are not located out there
nor all in here;
rather all things are in the relationships we have
with our selves
and others who relate within, between and among-
creating therefore an infinite nexus-
the ultimate social network.
So where you might ask is happiness in a network?

'It, 'she said 'is in the connectedness
not in the individuals who blog there.
Oh, he said.

Ghosts Of The Old Year

The snow has ceased its fluttering flight,
The wind sunk to a whisper light,
An ominous stillness fills the night,
A pause — a hush.
At last, a sound that breaks the spell,
Loud, clanging mouthings of a bell,
That through the silence peal and swell,
And roll, and rush.

What does this brazen tongue declare,
That falling on the midnight air
Brings to my heart a sense of care
Akin to fright?
'Tis telling that the year is dead,
The New Year come, the Old Year fled,
Another leaf before me spread
On which to write.

It tells the deeds that were not done,
It tells of races never run,
Of victories that were not won,
Barriers unleaped.
It tells of many a squandered day,
Of slighted gems and treasured clay,
Of precious stores not laid away,
Of fields unreaped.

And so the years go swiftly by,
Each, coming, brings ambitions high,
And each, departing, leaves a sigh
Linked to the past.
Large resolutions, little deeds;
Thus, filled with aims unreached, life speeds
Until the blotted record reads,
'Failure!' at last.

Thinker's Companion

Were you there, I do not know
In my mother's womb when I was..
Over the years an 'I' inly mine
Inclined toward mayic transience
Teenaged in fanatic fantasy
Matrimonially in illusory affection, affliction
Surpassed all in untruth

All in unreality of 'I'
Nescience of the true 'Self'..
This moment you stand split so salient
O'my conscience, sentience, thought,
Why so concealed so far?
Alright, be unconcealed in nexus of your fulgency
To me as atonement when I am reborn

Whisper

Whisper it to my ears,
Just whisper it to my soul,
This soul that is lost within these walls,
Watch as it falls,
I hear it whispering within these halls,
The halls that remain silent within this tragedy,
Tragedy of a broken rose,
That rose must rise once more,
That rose is your heart,
You heart that needs to beat,
Whisper,
Whisper it gently,
Whisper it to my heart,
My heart that once was whole,
Just whisper those words I been wanting to hear.

The Atlantic

The Atlantic

Thought I was over it now, the call that is my destiny;
twice I have tried to be a part of the sea,
but I failed swam to the surface inhaling life giving air.
I have moved inland, far from the sea,
where there is a puny lake and it dries up in June.
I have no son or daughter that will visit me
at the old people’s home.
No one to fuzz over me tell me not to smoke or waiting for me to go.
The sea is my friend.
My youth was spent there, alone at night standing on the deck,
of a ship, talking to the ocean, listening to its warm hum;
I resisted wanted more of life I think.
I have been wrong now that I’m old and have lost my dignity,
holding on to life when every
stab of pain tells me I’m there.
The sea has retreated I know it waits for me to know when it
is time to go home.

Sonnet: Man Sins Often

Why do we slip into sin so often?
’Tis natural for man to commit sin;
We think the devils’ attacks will soften;
But how many can give up drinking gin?

Man thinks, he’s smarter than all the devils;
Man succumbs to temptations most of time:
Man does less good but keeps doing evils;
His nexus with the devils becomes prime.

So, God allows problems till man atones;
This is the time when man thinks about God;
Thus, man repents for all his sins and moans;
Heaven’s mercy rains down on him from Lord.

Yet, man will continue to sin again;
From punishing him, God does still refrain.

Democracy

(Democracy in India has become a fun for certain people. The nexus between the corrupt politicians and corrupt officers is responsible for degrading the values of democracy)

People's state for the people, by the people,
But what kind of people?
Criminals, robbers murderers, rapists,
And off-course the corrupts,
These are the people?
And
honest, simple and plain speaking
Feel suffocated,
If this is democracy,
I denounce it.

Whispers of trees

Trees whisper of the coming winter
Leaves mutter among themselves

Seasons silently steal upon us…
As Falling streams from rocky shelves

Soft sibilant sighs, indistinct…incoherent
Nature’s voices, spoken through the dells

It’s the trees whisper… of the coming winter
The voices of Trolls, faeries and elves

Branches freeing…captive leaves fleeing
Limbs bleakly waving…in poignant farewell

Listen closely! …to the trees soft whisper
Of places of mystery…where legends dwell

Trees whisper the coming winter
Voices elusive…secretive as well

Hear the murmur of the wooded heart…
muted tumble of an acorn shell

Trees whisper…coming winter…
Tales that only trees can tell

Sonnet- The Bedeviled World

How people change their principles so oft!
How Wolves in sheepskin dressed can kill the flock!
How stooping low can many persons loft!
To crow these days, forgotten has the Cock!

How people speak unnaturally for gain!
How decibels turn soft to achieve things!
How people form a nexus and can feign!
How righteous souls are given just Bee-stings!

The present world just suits the wily lot;
They enjoy life until comes their downfall;
The honest lot is given the back-slot!
How much on swampy ground can bounce a ball?

The present world favors the corrupt folk;
But Egg must have both albumin and yolk!

Sonnet: Good Prevails Always

This world is strangely lone and quite unfair;
Day in and out, we fight for existence;
Sometimes, the things that happen one can’t bear;
The world much lives in lies and much pretence.

It appears mostly evil-men o’er-rule;
Their nexus seems to have the upper hand,
While honest men are always made a fool;
Like bolt from blue, God sends His reprimand.

Just like the spring that comes after winter,
Life turns better for righteous men one day;
And thereafter, ’tis golden but summer,
And evil men get weeded out like hay!

This is the way our life goes on this earth;
And after birth, who knows when comes one’s death?

Sonnet: The World Is Bad But Goodness Triumphs

Like birds of same feather flying together,
Like-minded men behave just like brothers,
In opportune moments, clement weather,
To favor some and bringing down others.

The world today is opportunistic,
And everywhere we see a nexus form;
Treatments given are never holistic,
And people tend to deviate from norm.

How rules are made and bent to favor some!
The wicked minds appear to rule the roost;
And men with weaknesses are more welcome;
And righteous men are troubled and out oozed.

But not for long as Nature sets things right;
Between the good and evil, there’s a fight.
