The argument of caffeine
The argument of caffeine.
Preventive medicine some say.
Others believe that it causes increased chance of heart problems and strokes.
Good old studies, when the medical society as a whole can't decide.
How is one such as I who has no research invested in the subjects to decide.
Its addictive I'll agree with that. It relieves some migraines, its been proven. That's one of the active ingredients in Excedrin migraine.
It causes nasty side effects when you go off it cold turkey.
I know from personal experiences.
But a cure for some kind of Alzheimers, later on in life, hmm I just don't know.
That's too much like trying predicting the future.
And it would require extensive studies to be proven.
Ones that were done the life span of human beings.
It makes you more alert.
The reason why when we first wake up we desire a cup of coffee is the addictiveness and it ability for it to wake us up.
The aroma, the hotness, the bitter sweet taste.
Fulfilling it is with a yummy doughnut in the morning.
So for right now I'll continue to drink my caffeinated coffee.

Panera Bread Poem = Coffee
Around 1615 coffee came to Western Europe
Raising a huge controversy and warning cry.
Some said it was intoxicating and poisonous
And any whom consume it will die.
No one knows how coffee was discovered
Though it is said its effects were known before A.D.575.
Persian armies carried and ate its seeds for strength
Which in battle could decide who would perish or survive.
Arabs where the first to brew its bitter seeds into a drink
In a attempt to make it taste better and easier to consume.
Soon the new beverage spread to Turkey and Europe
As the world became addicted to the harvest of it’s bloom.
Thank God for caffeine found in coffee
Which helps multitudes make it through the day.
Like ancestors of the past it helps energy to last
And for it’s stimulant we are eager to pay.

An Afternoon Poem
it is all coffee without cream
no sugar, you say please, no sugar no cream
it is all about cold bread
nothing electrifying
unlike the softness of the arms of the beloved
it is about the coldness of bread
and the hotness of coffee
less the cream and the sugar
nothing sweet really
you guess it: there is something bitter
not from the water (for why should water be bitter?)
not from the cup (is there such a cup which has a bitter taste?)
guess further: you are wrong.
it is bitter, it is really bitter.
it comes from the heart. Not from the saucer
or the spoon.
it is the heart that is bitter. do not attempt
tasting it.
it can be toxic because it is mine.

Perfect Coffee
she dance in front of me, in early morning suite,
before the Rooster crock in early shout of morning,
brows and feel then the coffee lies in the table with
a happy roost
comfort the night with that dancing lady, where
every inch of her hair, languish her leg just off the
bed to play, come admirable ecstasy wake me up,
full and squeeze the earth, grip my trembling heart
as you quizzed my neck into the earth seeking night
with nothing but gone of myself
I almost drawn, of the mixed emotion of sugar drops
in the coffee, wanted a perfect blends of boil water as
it fades away, oh! yes thanks to the table that hold
every cup, the party has to go like a merry go around
the table of free
now the sweet aroma of coffee brings a good
morning mist, with sugar dare coffee taste as old, the
same thirst the tongue requests; drink the leverage of
mate that holds, for each breath of lips that savour
the spell, lives the saving faith
a hot coffee for free, take it out or dine with thee ….

Is it Tea or Coffee?
Is it Tea or Coffee?
Tell me!
My instant early morning dream
I like it black, white with sugar or cream!
The choice is free
Yet the mind cannot agree
With Tea is a Yippee!
With Coffee it is a Whoopee!
The thought of a little caffeine
The smell of fresh roasted beans
Will once again set off my adrenalin
While my exhausted brain is waiting
That stirring cup of sizzling black
Put on the kettle; spill the beans out of the sack
I will pay the fee; I will pay the levee
I will beg on one knee for a little bit of Coffee
Take a sip of the early morning coffee
Close your eyes and try to see
As you smell the airy aroma like a bee
Tea or Coffee! Perhaps you now understand me
Those swarms of dark brown seeds
They feed my vicious needs indeed
I don’t care how much I pee or how much I wee
For that sparking liquid of hot black called coffee

A Bitter Coffee... A Sweet Coffee
The age is running and I am still drinking my bitter coffee,
To when the story of this coffee belongs? !
Coffee and chocolate are so deferent in their tastes
But in several times
It happens that they have the same color.
It seems that the similarity of them is the same of features of the fortune reader.
When she gazes the cup of the coffee
But I am not so familiar with chocolate
Even I am not familiar with the talisman countenances of the hex.
I remember that once I asked him to give me a bitter coffee
Yet he has made a permanent bitter one
Each time he brings me the same coffee in the same cup
A question c0mes to my mind and I ask it to myself:
If we do not like the coffee, why we do drink it?
Do you think it is our destiny as my birth story?
I was born without my desire
Thus with each sip of the coffee
The destiny stops me not to tear the chocolate cover
to sweeten my coffee.

Cup of mocha
You never liked
the taste of mocha
You said it was
coffee laced
with chocolate lies
I always loved it
when the chocolate
masked the coffee
Just enough, and
let it linger nice
A lie coated truth
But, truth nevertheless...
The warm cup of mocha
Stands and grows cold
outside in
Dreams, forgotten,
lie dormant
new, old within
I stretch over the table
as across continents
To hold your hands,
to cup some warmth into;
a coffee grown cold,
a life grown old
We always shared
the mocha
you sipping
seeking the coffee
While I taste
the chocolate,
wait with the coffee
We stare athwart
Our love’s passion,
no longer an obsession
It retains within us ties,
Coffee mingled with chocolate lies
You always said
“Serve me poison,
with a smile,
I will drink it too.
Please, don’t lace it
with chocolate as with
coffee you do.”
You never liked
the taste of mocha
Yet, you always
drink it with me
As you sip,
your eyes crinkle
and I smile too, with you...

Drink A Cup Of Coffee
How suddenly things change,
From those priorities...
We once had given them.
It seems just yesterday,
We all were seeking with beliefs...
There were those more concerned,
About our experiences as human beings.
To only discover,
They were more interested in representing...
A need to continue feeding their own self interests.
With an acknowledgement that all we required,
Was to be entertained appropriately.
And kept from being disturbed by the truth.
How suddenly things change,
From those priorities...
We once had given them.
And today more people seem to be awakening,
To the corrupted shady doings...
A commitment to sleeping had permitted to exist.
'I can not 'BELIEVE' what has been going on! '
~Here...
Drink a cup of coffee! ~
'You know I am trying to stay away from caffeine.'
~You've stay away long enough.
Here...
Drink this stuff up.
And forget about having it sweet and low.
You have been sweetened to your lowest.~

The effect matters
An action is proven right
Only after its effects.
A path is proven good
Only after the travel.

Coffee!
Coffee beans all ground up,
Coffee in my favourite cup,
Coffee black, coffee white,
Coffee dark, coffee light,
Coffee right, to start the day,
Coffee at work, coffee at play,
Coffee midday, coffee at night,
Coffee to sober, coffee to excite,
Coffee weak, coffee strong,
But maybe instead some Lapsang Souchong! ! ! !
TEA! ! ! ! !

Early Morning Blues And Greens (Master Backing Track)
A distant nightbird mocks the sun
I wake as I have always done
To freshly scented sycamore
And cold bare feet on hardwood floor
My steaming coffee warms my face
I'm disappointed in the taste
But there's a peace the early brings
The morning world of growing things
I feel the moment hurry on
It was today, it's died away
And now it is forever gone
And I will drink my coffee slow
And I will watch my shadow grow
And disappear in firelight
And sleep alone again tonight

Kind Hearted Woman
By robert johnson
Ive got a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
You would do to quit me just to have it on your mind.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, do anything in this world for me.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, do anything in this world for me.
But these evil hearted women, lord, and they will not let me be.
Now it aint but one thing makes mr. clapton drink.
I swear about how you treat me baby, I begin to think.
Oh baby, my life dont feel the same.
It breaks my heart when you call mr. so-and-sos name.
Shes a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Shes a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Youre best to quit me baby as just to have it on your mind.

Java Blues
Rick danko
I walked into a diner
And the blonde behind the counter
She asked if she could help in any way
Hell, I knew by her smile
Her number I could dial
If I was in the need of company
But as I bought some java
Instead she brought me a cup of chicory
I got those java blues
Coffees got me
Java blues
Oh coffee, coffee, coffee
Java blues
Coffees got me
Java blues
Oh coffee
You know that Ill stay high
Ill drink coffee till I die
Dont pour me water just fill up my cup
You know it takes a lot just to keep me up
Cost may be more than you care to pay
What good is money compared to fightin pain
Dont try to cheat
Its impossible to beat
The only pick me up thats here to stay
I got those java blues
Coffees got me
Java blues
Oh coffee, coffee, coffee
Java blues
Oh coffee, oh coffee
Java blues
Coffees got me
You know that Ill stay high
Ill drink coffee till I die
The taste of java is like a cocaine rush
Nobodys gonna stop me from drinkin too much
Down in bolivia the people are insane
They want as much for coffee as they do for cocaine
Dont try to cheat
Its impossible to beat
The only pick me up thats here to stay
I got those java blues
Coffees got me
Java blues
Oh coffee, coffee, coffee
Java blues
The coffees got me now..
Java blues
Oh coffee, coffee
You know that Ill stay high
Ill drink coffee till I die
I got the java blues
Oh coffee, coffee
Java blues
Oh coffee, coffee, coffee
Java blues
Oh the coffees got me
Java blues
Oh coffee, oh coffee
Java blues!

Thinking To Be Happy
we begin with a basic proposition: i decide to be happy today
then we go to such deductions as: happiness is just a state of mind
so today, you proceed to something personal: i will be happy
i will smile, i will not be interfered by those who are sad and disturbed
i will decide my own mood, i will not be influenced by those who want me
to be sad, and down and depressed and anxious and dissatisfied,
i want to enjoy nature's bounty, appreciate the flowers blooming in the field
in fact, i have to pick some of them and smell and imagine all the beautiful
things around me, the trees, the clouds, the sun, the rivers, and at night
of course, the full moon sailing on the sea, and arrayed with a broom of stars
a shooting star, a distant glowing planet named Venus and try to see
the zodiac and the greeks gods and godesses posted in the heavens
i like to dance and spend my time in ballrooms and bars and drink my favorite beer and talk to my wonderful friends, i like to spend a romantic
night with my lover, and have sex and enjoy the warm body and caress the parts of the human being that i like to feast with my hands and fingers and lips, and i like to sleep after a night of passion, and dream and wake up
on a beautiful morning, and have coffee and breakfast and have the lively
conversation, and i like all the days of my life to be like this: HAPPY
i like to think that i am happy, i decide to be happy, i make my moods
but let me be honest and frank with you, let me ask you this question:
why am i still NOT?

Turn It Into Something Good
Maurice white, james newton howard & valerie carter
Why, do you hang your head
And never, never satisfy the loneliness you tread
Spending your life, in the falling rain
Trying hard to drown the memories thats
Driving you insane
You cant hid forever just decide to make it better
Turn it into something good
Remember, you can choose, not to lose
Find your groove and be a winner
Wake up, take a step ahead
Wake up, to the rising sun
Wake up, life has just begun to shine
In you eyes, the somber blues
Reflects a place, from deep inside of knowing,
Not what to do
Ill be your rock, when youre about to fall
Together, well move on ahead and walk,
Right thru it all
You cant hide forever, just decide to make it better
Turn it into something good
Remember, you can choose, not to loose
Find your groove and be a winner
You cant hide forever, just decide to make it better
Wake up, take a steap ahead
Wake up, to the rising sun
Wake up, life has just begun to shine
